For a Starbucks suburban over stretched highway experience tis is the place to go and watch the truck traffic. The staff is friendly and good but its too bad they couldn't be at a better Starbucks. This is one of th e worse locations for a Starbucks and I am surprised Starbucks would want to occupy a strip mall like this. Starbucks in Lombard needs to be downtown or hopefully they will buy out that old Dairy Queen. Coffee drinkers are deserving of a better scenery than this place.

The folks here are friendly and I haven't had any order slip-ups when I've gone to this location. My only issue is that it just seems to be super slow, even going through the drive-through. I do realize that drinks need to be made but I always experience a longer wait at this specific location than I have at the other location I go to frequently (Wheaton Town Square). I'll continue to go but I know that if I am in a hurry, I either have to leave more time or just not go to this location.

I've only gone through their drive-thru but WOW is the customer service friendly and fabulous! Not to mention they always get my order right, so I always drive away happy!

****Update: It is now several months since I initially wrote this and my roommate, co-workers and I have taken to calling this the Special Ed. Starbucks. Nothing more needs to be said.****

Not a lot of love for this location huh Yelpers? My experience (whether drive thru or sit in) has been just fine. The Baristas are pretty nice for the most part. Bad service? maybe once or twice during in all of my visits. There's a basket of crayons and stacks of paper/coloring pages for the kid to occupy himself so I can sit and enjoy my drink. Typical array of SBUX drinks and snacks. Typical SBUX prices. Works for me!

The people who work here hate their lives. Just like everyone else has said, shotty customer service. Starbucks is Starbucks but this one gets 1 star just purely on the employees. Every time I go in there's always 2-3 people just standing around & 1 person working their ass off to fulfill all the drink orders. On my latest visit the ginger at the register asked for my drink order then proceeded to tell me to hold on, walked to the back, & said "you have a customer!" So someone else walked up to the register, retook my order, & swiped my card. Really? The best part - whilst waiting for my drink, the ginger showed just how much he really hates his job & broke a glass. Super. PS to the manager: you're wasting a whole lotta money paying these incompetent people to just stand around all day.

Honestly every time I come here the baristas are sweet. I usually come in the evenings and they always are so nice! They have never gotten my order wrong and they always help if I have questions. I'm deducting one star because this drive thru is slow. It does take a while to get my drink even if I'm the only customer in the drive thru. Also, getting to the drive thru is kind of difficult.

Starbucks? More like FIVEbucks. Most ridiculous profit margin and yet they can't even spare a few cents to award military discount to the patrons who've given so much. But old folks get senior citizen discount for their age even if they were dirtbags their entire lives. Show some appreciation where it is due, fivebucks.

Worst Starbucks experience ever! Garbages were all overflowing, service took forever and it wasn't even busy. Behind the counter had spilled coffee and ice everywhere. And worst of all the coffee was not good. It felt like being at a McDonalds in Detroit.

So, I finally found a Starbucks on my way to work that isn't just a drive-thru, which means I can sit down and relax with my drink before venturing out in the cold again. Unfortunately for me, this is one of those locations that pays more attention to the drive-thru customers than the people who walk inside. I get it. The drive-thru line is looooong. But patrons that venture inside need equal attention! The few of us people that decided to order inside waited a loooong time. I even got my food before my drink, which is kind of unusual. And oh, actually, MY sandwich was placed in someone else's bag. They caught the error before she left. And both of us stood another three minutes waiting for a drink after the baristas asked us again what we ordered. Not cool. There wasn't enough time for me to sit down and take a few sips of my drink. Once I got my drink and my food, I rushed out the door to get to work on time. (Then my car died... but that's another story.) The location is OK. Plenty of seating. Quiet. Typical Starbucks. The wait inside and the drink mix-up wasn't cool. I'm guess it's better during less busier hours.

I was going to give this Starbucks 4 stars. But then changed my mind when the barista wouldn't heat up my drink for me! The bathroom is very clean, and the store is kept up well too. I was also greeted when I entered, which is nice and is something I always appreciate. It seems like a pretty typical Starbucks (other than my lukewarm drink). So therefor, three stars.

This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. They are friendly, the place is cozy and there's an abundance of electrical outlets. I've worked from here and found it a great little hide away. And the patio in the summer is perfect!

Wow, generally I am a happy person in the morning and the girl was so rude to me. She acted like I kicked her dog, very condescending. I was so close to driving away. Sorry for inconveniencing your life for a coffee, lady.

Slowest location I've ever been to but consistent because time and time again it takes forever in their drive-thru (and all I get is a tall coffee). Staff is unpleasant too. Nothing like my experience downtown on Michigan and Adams.

It's Starbucks. I have the same issues with all of them. Consistency. It all depends on the barista. Sometimes I get a drink and my cup feels nice and full and sometimes I give it back and ask them to put the drink I paid for in it because if you're only going to fill the cup half way then give me half my money back. They are all the same to me.

This is my Starbucks ever since it opened. Good coffee and service. I love the drive-up and roominess of the lot. They get backed up at the drive-up in the warm months afternoons, so don't lose patience while you wait for your elixir.

Drive-thru looked very efficient - but in-store service was terrible (mostly at the register). I'll avoid this location at all costs.
