The missus and I met up with friends for dinner on a Wednesday night. I would say the place was about 30% full at around 6:30, which was good for us because we knew we wouldn't feel rushed. Appetizers were all good. We had the Dynamite Shrimp, veggie spring rolls, and orange-ginger edamame. Main courses were equally delish, consisting of Singapore Street Noodles, chicken pad thai, veggie pad thai, and lettuce wraps. Finished off the meal with banana egg rolls. Service was friendly, our waitress didn't crowd us, nor was she M.I.A. I would visit here again.

We came for dinner and had a really good time! Our server, Christina, was super nice and friendly. Everything was served in a timely manner, and even got our bill quickly. We ordered: Vegetarian Springrolls, Buddha's Feast, Vegetarian Lo-Mein, and the Vegetarian Fried Rice. Everything tasted great, and we even received extra sauces to go on the side. The portions are decent, one dish can feed 2-3 people easily. The interior was beautiful, and very nicely decorated to an Asian inspired theme. The customer service was beyond excellent for such a busy place, and I would definitely recommend this place and come here again soon.

Tried to call to make reservations, they said they didn't do reservations but if we came in at 7 it would be a 10 minute wait. Got there at 7 and was told it would be a 45 minute wait. Thanks for nothing.

I went with my wife for Friday night out.. Its really grand. Love the place .. I think you should try.. But the service is horrible.. So horrible that I am writing this feedback right at the restaurant .. They first forgot the drink my wife ordered.. I wanted to let it go.. But then inspite of asking not to add peanuts in the main course they added peanuts.. Finally handed over the cheque without even asking for desserts..

They are very consistently good food. Our server was very nice and did a great job Of suggesting her favorites. The drinks were great- the food was delivered hot and delicious!

Lisa was our waitress and so nice!! My drink was a little sweet and she took it back and brought me a fresh one. Food was great and service was amazing!! Great trip with my husband and his daughter.

We went on our 36th Wedding Anniversary and I was served my drink in a broken glass. This was the second time that I was served a drink in a cracked glass. Our server Christina was very nice and apologized . The company needs to have better guidelines for the employees to handle such situations. Claudia the GM was gracious enough to admit that it wasn't supposed to happen and took care of part of our bill. Quality control needs to be beefed up si it doesn't happen again .

Dang! This has always been my favorite place for Chinese. I think it has been about a year since I've been in but I returned again over the weekend. I was there for a late lunch and I was surprised by the crowd. He restaurant was busy but I was seated right away. Our server took our drink order and returned with the beer & wine in a reasonable time. The server asked for our food order as he was sitting down the drinks. We ordered soups and an entree to share. The service was only average and we felt very rushed. The food was brought out almost at the same time. The beef and broccoli was ok but did not have the same flavor as I remember. I had to eat slowly because a good amount of rice was barely cooked. The hot and sour soup is still one of my favorites and I did not order the lettuce wraps this time. Overall- I was a little disappointed in the rushed service and parts of the food. This has always been one of my favorite restaurants so I know I will go back eventually but I might try another Chinese restaurant before I return.

I'm a sucker for Changs. Although they discontinued the Dali Chicken I somehow get by with the sesame chicken. This location has always been a solid Changs and put out a solid product within a reasonable time. During my Chicagoland trip I have visited this property twice. The service and quality has been fantastic. Kudos to the Oakbrook team. I will be back every time I visit!

my brother, his wife, and myself came to this PF Chang to celebrate the occasion of father's day with my aunt and uncle, who raised my brother and I when we came to America. The atmosphere of the place was grande. I was kind of expecting a panda express kinda welcome, but the overall feel of the restaurant definitely sets it apart. The decorations appears new, the bathrooms are clean, and located near Willowbrook definitely helps raise its bar. Now we didn't come here to admire its setting, so onto the food. Apparnetly their cabbage wraps appetizers were well-known, so of course we had to get one. On top of that, we also ordered grilled sea bass, fried beans, and an order of fried rice (kinda un-Asian, I know, but we are not exactly in a really Asian place, and my uncle sworn off of actual Chinese food for health reasons). To be quite frankly, I hoped that they used less oil when preparing the ingredients, but for the most part, the food was definitely freshly made, that's always a plus. I did enjoy my dining experience, as our waiter was very attentive and cheerful. And our food was, to say the very least, decent. Pricing wise, I do believe that it is just. May come back for the lettuce wraps in the future, but not so sure about the rest.

Good food, but nothing memorable. I met some old coworkers here for dinner and ordered the chicken pad thai. Portion was generous, with large chunks of tofu and chicken. I've had the chicken pad thai at Pei Wei, which is owned by PF chang, and thought that theirs was better than this. I can't explain it... it tasted good, don't get me wrong, but it just lacked a certain "zip". Just kind of boring, I guess, in my opinion. Kudos to their flexibility on the menu- my friend wanted something spicy, but all those dishes had little vegetables to them. She was able to add extra veggies to her liking. The real winner was the Key Lime Pie martini. We had it as a dessert- it really does taste like a tart piece of pie and has a graham cracker crust rim. It was a definite treat! Service was very good, we arrived at 515 on a Friday and the place was pretty empty, but was more filled by the time we left (645pm). I would go back again, but wouldn't think to suggest it.

I don't know why anyone spends money here other than to eat the amazing banana spring rolls and that delicious chocolate desert thing. The dishes are waaaaaay overpriced (by at least $4 or $5 dollars, the dishes are small, so there's no reason for the up charge, and the quality isn't even that good. I mean, yeah, this place is pretty and it's a nice place to sit down and have a quite meal and drink with someone, but c'mon... The egg drop soup is the worst I've ever had; it tasted like egg marmalade (super thick). The Kung Pao Chicken was okay. Nothing special. The only thing I can say that was a plus was my waitress was amazing. We had an awesome conversation and she sat and chatted with my friend and I quite a bit. Otherwise, I will spend my money somewhere else, thanks.

We came here to celebrate my moms birthday. Two words described our experience: Terrible Service. My mother arrived first, was seated and about 10 min later someone stopped and asked if she would like a drink; a beer was dropped off and just as I was arriving another server stopped and asked if she had seated herself from the bar? She said no, someone served her the beer. He appeared incredibly confused and stood there staring at us; he was apparently our server and had no idea how or why she had a drink (after she had already waited a good 15 min). It takes forever to get food, we kept having to ask the server to bring us things like water, sauces, etc. Server was nice, but it took 2 hours for a main course and dessert. When we actually got the food, it tasted great, but we were so frustrated by the poor service that it killed the mood and left us hesitating to ask for anything else for fear of how long it would take. The desserts that we got were, ok. We ordered the dinner for two (we asked for the soups to be in to go containers and just get the main course), and when we received the check were unpleasantly surprised to see the bill nearly $25 more then what we had been expecting. It was a mess getting things sorted out as the server had rung is up all wrong. To top it all off. My mother received a fortune cookie with no fortune in it! All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be coming back.

This was my first time at this location, but I am not new to PF Chang's. I came here with a friend the other night for dinner. Parking was scarce, but we were able to get seated right away. I can see how this location would have a wait on the weekends, so make reservations. This location is more open than the other locations, and has a "fancier" feel to it. I almost forgot I was at PF Chang's. We ordered the crab wantons for an appetizer, and I got my usual Orange Beef for an entree. Everything tasted great - no one else makes orange beef like they do! The portions seemed a bit smaller than what they used to be...but the same price. The lunch prices/portions are a better deal. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ended up getting dessert too - who knew PF Chang's had a great tiramisu?? I was expecting one of those shot glasses with a few bites of dessert, but it was actually a nice portion.

A perfect mix of American-Chinese food. I tried the plate meals and they were divine. Not oily and heavy but enough to make you full and feel healthier. The service is pretty good and the food takes only a couple of minutes till served.

Very disappointed in service. I have gone to this location several times and never received such service. We ordered the dinner for two. Lettuce wraps first but two min later we got our soup then after 5 min ... Our entrees ! Waiter apologized that he thought kitchen was busy and timed food incorrectly. My husband was clearly upset , so in return our waiter never came back for a good while. Finally another waiter came to pack up our left over . Then when that was done our waiter finally came to our table and we asked for refills. He used his hand and took out the used straw and popped it into the new glass of sprite. With his hands!!!! Never gave us eye contact! Worst service! Never going back! Don't want to take chance of having another bad service ! Our first clue should of been the tardiness to even acknowledge our presence when we were seated!

My boyfriend and I took his parents here for dinner last Friday and wow, for 5:30 reservations the place was completely packed with people, and more were waiting. This was actually my first time ever at a PF Chang's (I know!) and I have to say that we all had a wonderful time. The food was fantastic. Fresh, well-prepared, not greasy like a lot of Chinese food can be. Drinks were great too, and so was service. It's a little bit pricey but nothing crazy. I would definitely recommend and will return. Cute date night, although it can be a bit loud. That's probably my only complaint. It's not an "intimate" date night place. The music is a bit loud too. Other than that, totally yummy.

The service the last two times we have gone here has been terrible. Tonight .. greeted at the door with... You need reservations, we are a very busy restaurant. Tuesday night in the suburbs... NOT busy!!! When we were seated we were ignored. 15 mins!! Til someone came and offered any service. 2 young children... NOT good. Lucky for pf Chang the chicken lettuce wraps are good enough or we would have left!!

Super great for a nice date! Theresa is the best waitress I may have ever had before. We have frequented the restaurant twice, and Heather, the first time, was such a joy to be served by. Excellent! Highly recommend it for anyone and everyone.

My friend had a gift card, wanted to go, so I was tagging along for the good company. Not even a little fan of chain Chinese, and from what I recall, what I had was mediocre, but I hadn't been in awhile, so how bad could it be? Service was well above average. Our server described each iced tea in detail for me, of which there were 3. I'd go back just for the jasmine green black tea - MAGNIFICO and so thirst quenching. I love tea, but I'm picky about it, as I want it to taste like TEA, not a drink drowning with sugar and/or fruit. Iced tea is the one staple PF Chang's has down cold. The egg drop soup was just that - mediocre. Wasn't good, wasn't bad. I've certainly had better and worse. We split a small salad, which was fine. Once again, mediocre and not something seen in Western Chinese restaurants (although sometimes served in China). What was surprising and the highlight of my meal, was the Mo Goo Gai Pan. I ordered the brown rice with it, which made it delicious, although I don't think rice was going to change this dish. It's actually one of the best dishes I've had in a long time at a Chinese restaurant. There was lots of tender chicken, large shrimp, lots of pea pods, Bok Choy, water chestnuts, carrot and a light sauce that didn't attack the other ingredients with a shovels worth of sodium. There was more than enough for a lunch tomorrow. I can't believe I'm going to go back soon for that Mo Goo Gai Pan, but I definitely will be back to order it again. My Bok Choy is a complete joke compared to the yummy and nice size portion here. The other entrée that was well above what I remember as PF Chang's are the garlic noodles. Once again, a nice portion of tasty noodles with a large array of thin sliced cucumber on the side. Stuffed, but we also split the Tiramisu. A small slice for $3.99, it hit the spot. Still can't believe I'm recommending a chain Chinese restaurant, but I am! Our meal was delicious and service was attentive, our server, helpful.

Went here for the first time for a date night with the hubby. I didn't know what to expect since my experience with Chinese restaurants have been mediocre until now. Wow is the only thing to describe this place. The abiance is awesome, very dim and romantic with candle lit tables. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We started out with the shrimp and calamari as appetizers, both very tasty, not greasy at all. I really like how the food is served family style so we were able share. For entrees we ordered the Oolong Chilean Sea Bass and the Mongolian Beef. Both were very good and flavorfull. Lastly we ordered the Banana Spring rolls, the ice cream it comes with is so yummy, coconut and pineapple flavored. Overall we had a great experience and would defintely come again!!

Hit the place on an early Friday....about 4-ish. Not too many people there, so we had prompt seating and a great server. First thing that hit me was the music. LOUD! And strange choices for an Asian themed restaurant. It made us want to eat fast and get OUT.(perhaps that is the intent?) Husband and I ordered the dinner for 2, which includes soup, appetizer, 2 entrees and a dessert to share. Good price, so we bit. The spring rolls, although tasty, were really greasy. And no other sauce to try except for a small thimble of one type of sauce...no Chinese mustard. Soup was average. (egg drop) We had the Singapore street noodles and the chicken lo mein. They both lacked something...were a bit on the dry and flavorless side. There was very little curry flavor in the street noodles, one part looked almost burned, and therefore,I was under-impressed.

BEST OF THE 'BURBS: #8 -- P.F. Chang's (Yorktown) I've been to this P.F. Chang's a few times before, but this past Friday evening was the best visit to date, and it was one of the best overall meals I've had in some time. Decor is suitably new-wave asian, and the indoor ambiance is a perfect balance of casual and chic, the lighting both trendy and romantic. The terra cotta warriors inside the entrance are an excellent touch! Onto the dining: To start, I ordered something called a...dirty mule? Smelly mule? It was 'something __ mule', AND IT WAS FANTASTIC. It consisted of premo jalepeno-flavored tequila, muddled with fresh mint, lime juice, & ginger soda, and was served in a tall Collins glass with fresh jalepenos on top. It was without a doubt one of the coolest and best-tasting mixed drinks I've ever had--and it was in fact pretty goddamn spicy! For $10, it was a very avantgarde drink choice, and I would get it again and again. And again. Lettuce wraps are always a great starting appetizer, and Chang didn't disappoint us. From there, we did the pre-fixe 'menu for two' and got hot'n'sour soup as well as an egg drop soup--both were very tasty. My chicken entree was great (as per usual), and the beef entree we had was equally yummy. All their stuff comes in a variety of sauces, and you can't go wrong with any of them, really. We rounded out the stellar meal with banana spring rolls served with pineapple-coconut ice cream and were out-of-this-freakin-world. 10/10, would make myself fat on those things. An outstanding dinner for 3 (with various spirits) came to about a hundy, which all things considered, wasn't really that bad. Portion sizes were great, service was very pleasant, and the atmosphere set the tone for a highly enjoyable Friday night dinner. The three of us couldn't have been happier (with MY restaurant pick, hehehe). I'll absolutely be returning, and every time I do, I'm ordering that stinky/hairy mule-drink concoction. Best. Cocktail. Ever.

Everything about this place screamed gourmet Chinese quinine. We had a reservation for six but added an extra guest at the last minute. They had no problem accommodating us even with a packed house on Christmas Eve. Shortly after our drink order was taken, we were brought a platter of lettuce wraps (one of the most popular appetizers) on the house. Our main entrées were delicious too! At first I thought that I didn't order enough but soon did I realize that with the appetizer, it was definitely an ample amount if food for a skinny guy like me. Someone with a bigger appetite might want to consider ordering a bit more. Some comments from others in my party: the broccoli was too tough and the rice sticks were a strange part of the dish; would have preferred regular rice or noodles.

I don't have anything against chains as long as they're good, but I don't get the hype about this place. I really don't. Food is nothing special, unless you're gluten-free (like my friend is, who insists on coming here for that very reason), in which case they've got a decent GF menu. I have yet to find a really good Chinese food restaurant in or around Lombard. The quest continues...

This review is on the quality of both the food and the dining experience at PF Chang's. Not to dispute the authenticity of this as a "Chinese restaurant." Guess what--this is a chain. Of course it's not "authentic" Chinese cuisine. Do you expect authentic Irish cuisine when dining at Bennigan's? I didn't think so. That said, PF Chang's is okay. I think that the food is super-greasy and loaded with salt. I generally feel icky after eating here...though I've never felt awful enough to order a lighter option the next time. There can be a long wait, and on more than one occasion I've sat down to a sticky, crumb-scattered table. Overall, it's just not my favorite dining experience. The food and atmosphere is average. Just don't be fooled into thinking you're in for a real, authentic Chinese meal.

I love Chinese food, and always wanted to eat at PF Changs, but thought it was really expensive so never ventured in. My sister and I did on a whim, and were pleasantly surprised to find the prices were reasonable. I had the honey chicken, which was pretty good, but could have used a bit more flavor. I went a second time with my parents, and we ordered the lettuce wraps. Those are probably the best thing on the menu- all three of us loved them. If you do go, save room for dessert- they come out with a tray of tiny glass jars that hold mini cakes. The red velvet is delicious! It's the perfect end to your meal, though who'd of thought cake would come after Chinese?

There are few things I like doing better on Yelp than writing a good review for a chain restaurant; mostly b/c it flys in the face of the 'chaina-hata's'...yelper's who slag off any chain restaurant whatsoever, just for their mere existence as a chain...how utterly predictable, trendy and pseudo-intellectual of you. But I digress..... PF Chang's at Fountain Square: we went over the w.e as my sis and her husband were staying in Oakbrook Hills for a conference and they wanted some Asian. The wife and I have had luck w. PF Chang's downtown/Schaumburg and knew they had a decent menu selection and also a good atmosphere to sip some cocktails and have some conversation. It did not disappoint, and might I add, *another* virtue of "a chain": consistency, you know what you're getting so to speak. Lettuce wraps are a good choice for a starter, as are the spring rolls, and they have great sauces and sides to accompany each of those apps. We all ordered something different and mixed and matched, so we could try different things...although, admittedly, you won't find anything on the menu that's unique or strays from mainstream Chinese fare; but that's not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself, the food is still good. All the dishes were tasty but the standouts were the kung pao chicken (I must commend PF Chang's on their (consistently) quality white meat chicken; never a "wtf was that" moment of a questionable bite of chicken?) and the Mongolian Beef. Wrapped up the meal w.a trio of small desserts and called it a night. Overall PF Chang's was straight up Alton Brown, that is to say: Good Eats.

Great service! Our server was attentive which made the experience great! The cuisine is Americanized Chinese which is a lot better than your local Chinese carry out joint.

Alright so Crazy story but sad cause I'm not going back here until our waitress is fired and I highly suggest you dont either,Just in case you might get her.So the wait was 1hour15min so my BF and I stalked out the bar till we got a spot like we always do. We ended up getting on the 2 booths on the side of the bar.Super excited about it cause we were starving! Our waitress came flying over like a crazy lady talking a mile a minute and looking real paranoid.I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure she was on something. Our whole night was plagued by her bad trip she was on. First BF get the wrong beer, she takes my drink order twice completely unaware she had already taken it, left us waterless with our app spicy green beans! Told some other girls that they couldnt have a handle bag to take all their left overs home in, questioned me about where the other ones were when I asked for chopsticks, brought us white instead of brown rice, forgot to get me a plate for my meal, still didnt bring water after 3 times of asking, spilled my tea all over when she tried to pour it cause she was so shakey(coming down). Now if that wasnt enough wait till you hear this one.....So we just finished our meal the check came and she took our $25 gift card and somehow charged us $25 but whatever my BF threw the right amount of money in and we figured that was her problem to figure it out so after that we see her herding a group of 4 people over to our table telling them that we are gonna be just a minute and they can have our table! We just finsihed and were in no way shape or form about to leave.BF stil had a beer and I had fortune cookies to tend to and a kettle of tea. It was Super awkward because these people are then standing next to our table staring at us.At that point I decided F that now we arent getting up.So after a couple walks by from her and a couple " Ok thanks see you next time" comments she has the nerve to go over to their group, mind you they are only about 3 ft away and get all up in their circle and starts talking shit about us. I rolled my eyes at her grabbed my coat and told BF we are out of there. She then comes running over and says "I'm so sorry I didnt mean to say that" "I'm so embarrassed" " I didnt know you could hear me" "I'm sooo sorry"..I mean what the F was she saying about us,damn do i wish I could of heard that lil crazy b!! What a pyhco who talks shit about a customer to another customer right in front of them.

Kudos to the genius who thought suburbia neeed a chain of upscale Chinese restaurants! Seriously, visit any of the hundreds of little hole-in-the-wall family run Chinese carry-outs in DuPage and you'll experience better food at a better price. But the real blame here is on me -- I should have known better than to visit a restaurant that once used Chet Coppock as it's spokesperson!

  • Katie T.

I love how people get upset when a restaurant is busy. Hell, if it weren't busy it would go out of business and you would be shit out of luck. I absolutely love their food! I get a bottomless stomach when I eat here. I have to start with the lettuce wraps and spring rolls. The hot and sour soup is awesome too. Then I usually follow with the shrimp chow mein which has a great flavor and has tasty vegetables in it. Then for dessert I follow with the banana spring rolls which have a crispy covering and they are served with coconut -pineapple ice cream and caramel and fresh berries... At this point I can't breathe but who cares it was all worth it. Whatever is left I take home and I hate leftovers but, if its PF Chang's I will eat it. I have to stop talking about it because I won't be able to get it out of my head until I go there again.

Awesome food!! I hate chinese food to be honest but the lettuce wraps and the kung pow chicken is one of the best things I've ever eaten from anywhere in my whole life. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because they're always soooo busy it sucks waiting to be seated. I guess that's what happens when your food rocks that good though!!! :)

I'm really surprised by some of the reviews posted here. You should't compare P.F. Chang's to your local chop-sloppy shop. Look, I'm the first to admit that if I want CHEAP, GOOD, QUANTITY, I'm headed to East China Inn (N. Aurora) before anyone else, but at some point, P.F. Chang's caters to an older crowd who is probably not as adventurous, who aren't afraid to spend a little money. I've never had a bad meal at a P.F. Chang's and frankly, how authentic it is isn't that important to me. I want good quality for a fair price with excellent service. P.F. Chang's delivers on two of those all of the time. Service can be spotty depending on how busy they are and that's unfortunate. MK and I headed to P.F. Chang's to meet up with her parents (VERY PICKY and NOT ADVENTUROUS) after we stopped off at Lord & Taylor (02/09/08). We arrived early (4:00pm) and were seated right away. Absolutely it gets crowded and the wait sucks, that's what happens at these places, although I did see a new sign that stated that they took call-aheads now and reservations. I didn't take a look to see if there were any asterisks next to that. We ordered the chicken w/lettuce wraps appetizer (so overdone now at EVERY restaurant that they really should come up with something new) and I had a cup of the Egg Drop soup. MK's parents also ordered the Vegetable Spring Rolls. Although the spring rolls were a little on the small side, her Mom and Dad enjoyed them. For main courses, we had a Mongolian Beef, Chang's Spicy Chicken, Almond & Cashew Chicken and a Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. Everyone's meal came hot and not a person had a bad meal. In fact, for very picky people, her parents were very happy with what they got. In fact, they are going to visit the new one in Orland Park later this week with other friends of theirs. They do have a new dessert trick and unfortunately they are hopping on the bandwagon that I'm starting to see at many restaurants and that is the $2/shot glass of desserts. It's unique (they have 8 options) but I do think it's a bit overdone already. We ordered a few of those as well as one "great wall of china" chocolate cake that is just so big that it can feed a family of six. Bill was $113.00 for the four of us and that included 2 large beers (Asahi 22oz.'s). If you think that's expensive than I guess you need to stay at the local chop-sloppy shops, but liquor, appetizers, mains and desserts for $30 a head is actually a damn deal. Lastly, there were many groups of teens there this day who were out eating before a school dance. I would imagine that they had a good time as well as this was their "nice" place to eat before their event. Sorry so many of you have bad experiences, but I've never had and this is probably the 4th location I've visited. If you DO like P.F. Chang's, watch out for Pei Wei coming to your neighborhood. It's the P.F. Chang's menu but served in a style similar to Go Roma (order at a counter and then it's delivered to your table). It is part of the franchise. Prices are a bit cheaper and you don't have to tip a waitress.

This was my 1st trip to PF Changs...& it was awesome. They can custom make any dish for you, exactly how you want it. I like the fact they take reservations...hardly any place takes reservations anymore. The red velvet cake was awesome!!!!

It was packed on a Sunday night but we managed to get seated within 20 minutes of waiting. I love their soup, but im not a big fan of their appetizers, very weird, like what's up with that lettuce wrap, give me some bread instead...thanks! I don't come here much but the service everytime I came was excellent. Keep up the good work peeps!

Gross! The waiter seemed depressed about being there. The food was super lackluster, didn't really taste of Asian flare at all. Tried the sushi appetizer and it literally didn't taste. The main dishes weren't any different, and we certainly wouldn't go back.

Hate to give a low starred review to of my frequented chains, but this location is not giving Chang's a good name. I have been to several different Chang's and I go to the Schaumburg location OFTEN. The service was not bad, but the cooking was totally off. My friend always orders the dumplings and never has she once recieved them under cooked. I could tell just by looking at them that they were dry, they looked like plastic. The server was very nice and got her another order...unfortunately they were not any better than the first. My friend didn't want to make a big deal so she just let it go at that point. I ordered the kung pao scallops, which unfortunately were over cooked. I decided not to say something since my friend's order had already been ruined twice I figured even if I sent them back it wouldn't get fixed. Not to mention we would seem like we were complaining about everything. I will not be returning to this location, I'm gonna have to stick with Schaumburg. I did notice that this location was exceptionally quiet compared to Schaumburg, not as busy....and maybe now I know why. There are many other restaurants to go to in this area if need be.

I must say I'm not a big fan of Chinese food and definitely didn't think I would get any authentic Chinese food from here. I had a variety of meals to eat from which I all thought were decent. The Mongolian beef was my favorite. I had California rolls which I disliked the most. For dessert I had a Carmel cake that I thought was good too. The service we had was great! We had a lovely waitress.

Really like the kung pao chicken. Good gluten free offerings - including a flourless chocolate dome that was terrific. . The lettuce wraps are particularly good. A bit too noisy for my taste. Tried the chocolate won tons last night for desert and definitely would not order again.

Good, not great. I would go again, but it would not be my first choice. There are many better restaurants in the area. Arrived at 6PM on a weekday evening. Parking was easy, and we did not have to wait for a table. The orange peel chicken had just the right amount of heat and citrus flavor. Our waitress asked us too many times if we were ready to order and multiple times of we were ready to pay. There were many empty tables, and we did not overstay our welcome. We felt slightly uncomfortable with the service. She did refill my water and gave me extra rice to take home with my leftovers. That's something! Overall, the food was fine and the service could have been a bit better.

Peter Francis Chang you make some dang good fake Chinese food. I salute you. Lettuce wraps make me feel like I'm eating healthy...but I looked up how you make them and I know you're slowly killing me, but it's ok.

Gosh I looove P.F. Chang's...I have been to the one downtown, Orland, Woodfield, and now Lombard location. I had been craving PF Changs for weeks now so I didn't care about waiting 45-60 minutes for a table on a Saturday evening (Call in for reservations to avoid the long wait). I patiently waited while checking out their updated menu. I already knew I was getting the lettuce wraps...I ordered the chicken wraps this time but I think I like the Vegetarian/Tofu better...even my husband (a carnivore) agreed. We also ordered Steamed veggie dumplings....I rather have them fried...but we were trying to be "healthy". I had their chicken fried rice for the first time and loved it. There was sooo much I was able to have leftovers the next day. Also their Mongolian beef is the best. I didn't have any but I had some of the sauce....looking at it made me miss red meat. :-) I also tried some of their garlic noodles...I am not a fan of garlic but they were still very good. After a crazy feast we still decided to have a little dessert. We ordered some peanut butter chocolate cake...I don't like chocolate cake but I still ended up tasting it...and well it was a good dessert choice. There has actually been a time I did not like what I ordered at PF changs. Which is why I like ordering new things every time. There are soooo many options to choose from!

I've been to several PF Changs in a couple of states (just look for the Cecil B. DeMille-worthy stone horses), and the quality and service are pretty steadfast. I had not been here in a few years, and my dad wanted Chinese, so we went out for a treat, and enjoyed ourselves. One of my favorite parts is the snappy fresh ginger ale. It's homemade, and you can taste the bite of fresh ginger in it, so if you're used to Canada Dry...this ain't it. We started out with the lettuce wraps with chicken. They're a little awkward to eat, but a fun alternative to salad and so tasty, especially with the styrofoam-y rice noodles :) For our entrees, my dad with with his typical favorite of the Mongolian beef (beef with green onions in brown sauce). I will say that many of the sauces here (and at sibling restaurant Pei Wei) tilt toward the sweet side of the scale, but this one was a well-balanced savory, not too thick, lapping the seared beef and onions. I usually go with Kung Pao Chicken or the Honey Glazed Chicken, but my eye was caught by the Vietnamese Crab Salad, which involved lump crab meat tossed with green papaya, mango, apple and fresh vegetables in a citrusy vinaigrette. I inquired of the waiter what the "vegetables" are (since I don't like tomatoes, I will ask for salads without them); he said it was just carrots and then the fruits. Okay... Salad came with about 20 sliced mini tomatoes on it. They were easy enough to pick out, but how about just full ingredient disclosure on the menu?? They were already halfway there! (It also didn't mention the huge bed of thin rice noodles everything came on.) Despite this hiccup the salad ended up being pretty good, though I don't know that I'd rush to order it again. Despite the place being fairly busy, the restaurant wasn't terribly noisy (except for TWO tables in stereo trying to entertain babies by drumming chopsticks on the table! Parents, STAY HOME.) Overall, it's a step up from your Chinese place on the corner, with some out-of-the-ordinary choices.

We love this restaurant! Tons of gluten free options. Great service. Upscale versions of classic Chinese dishes. Yum! The only thing I would change? More veggies in the dishes - or at least as an add-on option for health-conscious eaters. :)

We come here a few times a year. The staff is all at an above average level. They do a great going over the menu. The food is all good, pretty straightforward. Just need to try dessert next time.

Hard to believe I haven't reviewed PF Chang's before this. After all, I've been eating at them for as long as they have been around. But let's spend a couple of minutes staying focused on the Lombard location. I haven't been here in years and then the other night, a friend calls to have me meet him for drinks and some dinner and off I go. I have to say that I was pretty impressed. We sat at the bar and the staff was super attentive and because my friend is a "regular" there (it does have a nice bar area) our drinks were never empty and neither were our stomachs. We started with a range of appetizers, from my favorite lettuce wraps to some pot stickers and egg rolls. Quite tasty. But the real winner for me was the shrimp and pea pods with rice. My friend must have been hungry as he ordered the duck, and some beef dish and the shrimp and a spicy chicken dish (most of which he took home as leftovers) but my favorite of all of that were the plump, juicy shrimp. Wonderful! I laugh that they have "complimentary valet parking) as there is a huge parking lot that you can park in yourself (this is the "burbs", you know!) but the kid looked liked he needed a few bucks, and I had on uncomfortable (but very stylish shoes) so he got at least one customer for the night! Stop in for lunch or for dinner, PF Changs does it consistently right!

Such a convenient location! In the middle of various shopping, dining, and hotels in this area. Great ambiance, if a little loud at times. Great large table in one corner near the entrance for group events. Amazing food, perfectly seasoned every time--bonus: brown rice! Great selection of teas as well, to accompany your meal. Fun and quick staff. Great bar area for a quick bite and to catch up on a game while enjoying a drink.

The thing about PF Chang is that they have been consistent in every city and state that I have ever eaten in. The food is always superior. I have never had anything less than fabulous service. It is always great ambiance. The restaurants are always clean. The portion size is reasonable. The truth is what else can you ask for besides bringing Lemon Pepper Shrimp back. I wish the prices were lower but atleast you get what you pay for. I give them ALL THUMBS UP!!!!

Came here for post-mother's day celebration the following Monday around 1pm. The restaurant was empty but somehow we still weren't waited as much as we're used to. We had to ask to get refills, twice! It was our first time there and asked the server what he recommended and he just said it was like any other Asian restaurant and we were back at square one. The food was overall very good but the service we received may have us reconsider in the future.

We used to go to this location all the time before the one in Schaumburg opened, and then we still came here to escape the crazy Woodfield crowds. Great location - convenient from 355 or Oakbrook, and everything else in the area - and the food and service have always been good here, too.

Not to be a snob but as stated that it is bistro, I was quite surprised by the food. (I understand it is made with a euro fusion, but it only bunked up the price but not really let me get a bang of the buck). I felt like I paid for the atmosphere and decoration. Also, the awesome service from the all smiles staff. The bathroom was nicely decorated that it kind of reminds me of the cheesecake factory. Firstly, I came here with my family for my baby brother's birthday. We each ordered our own dish. I had the honey chicken. There was a soup that came with it and it was the hot and sour soup. I felt like i was drinking Spicy vinegar. I ended up getting a heart burn from it. For the price charged, the serving was expensive. I even finished my food for once! I rarely do. We had a fun time ordering dessert. They also have a nice surprise for birthday boys and girls. I had a fun day from the service, but not quite the case for the food.

One of our favorites! The PanAsian decor and open ceiling design makes it a fun And casual place to dine. The food is fantastic (I recommend the chicken lettuce wraps). They waiter will mix a dipping sauce for you right at your table. Custom made to your level of spiceossity! The staff is attentive and helpful with suggestions if you need them. I know this strip on Butterfield has lots of good options with Champps, Weber and Uncle Julio's, but give PF Changs a try. You won't be disappointed.

went here about 6 months ago because I had a $25 gift card. Had shrimp with lobster sauce, it was out of this world. My parents split Mongolian beef, also excellent. Restaurant wasn't too full as we went on a Wednesday at 5 pm. Waiter was attentive and very friendly. Would definitely go again

Not great but not awful. My Friend and I always end up here when we have dinner out. It's easy to get to since we don't live so close anymore, we can always get a table, and they have veggie options. I don't think I'd ever request to go here but it's fine for a catch up meal with friends because the food will not overshadow the convo. Great Springs Rolls though.

A nicely decorated Americanized Chinese restaurant. I definitely appreciate the decor and services over the taste. Lettuce wraps are pretty good. It is very smart to add water chestnut into the ground chicken and crispy noodles to add more texture. I didn't under stand why only 4 pieces of lettuce were given. We needed more. Stir-fried Eggplant was pretty tasty with first a couple of bites. They seasoned the dish with too much soy sauce, sugar, and spices. Feel like the dish punched the taste buds initially then you give up eating after that. The Buddha's Feast came with various fresh veggies and tofu. I didn't know why they added excessive soy sauce into this instead of just broth based. Need to ask for a lighter version next time. The Mongolian chicken came out nicely. My friend loved it. With $16 price tag, I think it was OK. The services was very professional and prompt. I need them to train the servers in Chinatown this way!

My husband and I went here for a lunch on a Saturday around 1:30. It was crowded and very loud. It took a long time to meet our waiter. The chicken lettuce wraps (which we've heard people rave about) were very good (but to be frank I really like the ones at Formosa Cafe better). They have good lunch specials, even on the weekends, before 4:00, which include a choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup. I ordered the honey chicken and didn't care for it at all and it seemed different than how it was described on the menu. My husband liked the sesame chicken and it looked really appetizing and colorful (unlike the honey chicken). They have a great dessert menu. We tried the mini triple chocolate mousse. It was good but not amazing. My husband liked the ginger "beer" which has a very unique taste. The glasses for the water and pop seem on the small side and we had to often wait for refills. Service overall seemed slow and pretty bland. I don't think we'll make this a regular place to visit. I'd give it two stars except for the lunch specials being available on the weekends too and the very good lettuce wraps.

Fantastic Gluten Free Menu! Not only can you get many menu items prepared Gluten Free, but they also have a gluten free soup, dessert and BEER! Also, a very, very important part of serving Gluten Free dishes in a Restaurant.......they actually prepare all Gluten Free items in 'separate' woks to avoid cross contamination and serve them in specially marked bowls and dishes. The Gluten Free menu selections are many and varied because they have gluten free soy sauces and even gluten free pot sticker sauce that is used for their Beef menu items. I tell you when I first had to eliminate all gluten from my diet and had suffered for a few months with not being able to either order anything out at a restaurant or 'modifying' it so much that it tasted horrible, I was so excited to dine at PF Chang and have such a great selection of gluten free dinners. My first meal there I had the Gluten free Beer and Flourless Chocolate Cake.....and cried with joy!

I have been here a couple of times, this time I brought my oldest kids for one of their birthday dinners. Our server was very sweet. Generally it was a very good meal. We all enjoyed the thick egg drop soup, as well as the pork dumplings and the egg rolls. My boys enjoyed the beef noodles (+) and Mandarin chicken -- they are both still into the mild tastes and are only starting to branch out. I ordered a new menu item, the Dahl chicken, which was covered with roasted chili peppers and was very hot -- not in the balanced way, but more in the way that you are trying to make a battered chicken a little more noticeable. Dessert was very nice, the tiramesu and cheesecake were a nice ending to the dinner. While I tend to like to go local instead of chain, the nice thing about the place is that it is large, dark, and not too noisy even when there are a lot of people there. I chose this over local (more dive-y) place because it is good for a longer dinner where adults want to sit down and talk. I will continue to use it for those occasions. $105 for dinner for three.

Microwaved crap disguised as food. Worst $15 bucks I'ver ever spent. Ordered the honey shrimp hoping it would be somewhat reminiscent of the authentic honey walnut prawns...HA Not even close. The lunch portion with a meager iceburg lettuce salad was about $14. Fried rice tastes broiled. What- A- Joke Save yourself $10 and get a nice-n-greasy lunch special at your local chinese dive....

The place was very nice. Food tasted great and the service was very nice and helpful! All of the food was really good but the lettice wraps where the best by far. The only reason it doesnt get 5 stars is that the prices where kinda high for what you got and there was no free tea but other than that a great place to go!

I've only been to PF Chang's a couple times, but the other visits were great. This one really disappointed. The main dish of lamb was wonderful, but seemed like it was missing a little something. The crab rangoon was alright. I would easily give our food three-four stars, however, the service was awful. Our waiter took his sweet time. We sat around waiting to order drinks, sat around waiting for refills and sat twiddling our thumbs to give our food order. He plopped down the sauces and didn't explain them, nor did he appear to even attempt to mix them to our liking. Chances are I won't try it if I can't be sure that it won't burn my tastebuds off. Just blah. Same situation with the main course. It was dropped off and he vanished. No questions, no small talk. He was in and out like he had a million other tables to wait on. Funny thing is we were pretty much their only customers at that time. And we never did get our refills.

Changs, I'm sorry I passed you up in Vegas for some gross "Asian fusion" food, it won't happen again. Promise. First and foremost you HAVE to start with the lettuce wraps. Even if you're not into lettuce, trust that you will love them. Or get the pot stickers. Better yet get BOTH!!! If you're going with a group I would recommend getting 2 or more dishes to share. My favorites include: Chang's Spicy Chicken - delicious pan fried tender crispy chicken pieces in a spicy sauce; Kung Pao chicken - with red hot peppers; Mongolian Beef and the Mu Shu. Orders comes with brown rice but you can opt for some of their awesome noodles. The service isn't always great but I'm not there to chit chat with the wait staff. PS. They're gluten free!

A reservation for 10 of us was set for 7:30 on a Friday night and we didn't get seated until about 7:50...kind of annoying. Our server was all business and had no personality. He basically just took our order and they have food runners to bring us our food. Hopefully they got some of the 18% gratuity that was added to our bill. This time, the food came out quickly and all together which was nice with a big table. The food was all really good. My husband and I did the dinner for 2 for $39.99 which includes soup, appetizer, 2 entrees and a mini dessert....a really good value. When it came time to pay, the server spilt up some of the meals and combined some others - it was strange. He tried adding a drink to our bill which was already paid for by someone else. It was pretty chaotic. With a group this big, I suppose problems can happen easily but they should be used to bigger groups. Again - great food but they need to work on the service a bit...just like I said in my review a year ago.

I love the Lombard PF Changs restaurant. I dine-in about once at this location and the service is always great. The food comes out quickly after ordering, which is great when I'm starving! I highly recommend this location- the only downside would be the very busy parking lot.

I had lunch here with some coworkers. I decided to have the shrimp with lobster sauce lunch bowl with egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was very flavorful. At other places, I've had egg drop soup that tasted like dishwater, but this one was quite nice. The lunch bowl was pretty bland, however. I tasted garlic, and pretty much only garlic. I had to add copious amounts of chili paste and soy sauce to infuse a bit of flavor. Our waiter was pretty nonexistent. He stopped by to get our initial drink and food order, then to bring our meals. The meals did come fast, which was great because we had to be back at work.

One of my favorite restaurants! Very happy to see a Gluten Free menu here! The food is great, the waitstaff is wonderful, very friendly and always helpful! If you ask them what's in something (to be safe with allergies), they provide the information instantly, without even asking why we're asking. It's great to have service like that! They don't use MSG at all either, which is a big plus for me! I didn't want to go here for many years thinking I'd get sick from the MSG but when I found out they don't use it, we went there and now's it one of my favorite places to eat for the past few years. I highly recommend you trying this restaurant, you will be pleased! I love the Crispy Honey Shrimp and the Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Tried the tofu lettuce wraps and they were great too! The Egg Drop Soup is excellent!

Very nice meal with friends. Very good attentive service. Clean washrooms and pleasant decor in a huge room. Free parking in a lot just off I-88 near Highland and Butterfield Road. All 4 of us are on special doctor-imposed diets and all of us were stuffed and happy with our food. i had the gluten-free Asian tomato-cucumber salad, shared the Oolong Marinated Chilean Sea Bass (scrumptious and very heart healthy) and the Gluten-Free Steamed Buddha's vegetable platter with brown rice with the husband. To finish, I had the Great Wall of Chocolate Mini which was just the right size in a large shot glass for a full burst of flavor without gluttony! The husband shared egg rolls, tofu dish in coconut sauce, and chicken with a garlic sauce with our friends as well as the Thai Basil Salad. He thoroughly enjoyed everything he tried. This location is very out of the way for us, but I'd be willing to try another location closer to home based on my experience here. Usually we avoid chain restaurants! If you're in the neighborhood, I definitely recommend this place.

I have visited p f changs many times in the past. We showed up on a Saturday night with a reservation and had to wait 15 minutes which is fine I understand its Saturday night. The waiter was great the food was horrible. We were a party of five and nobody in my family enjoyed the food. I ordered the orange peel beef and it came out looking black and not much flavor. The other items my family ordered they did not enjoy them at all .my wife didn't even touch her vegetarian she said it was gross. I hate to give it a terrible review but they have gone down hill. The previous times we had went there the food was always good. Even the rice they brought to the table was extremely dry. Way overpriced for what we received. I would have preferred to go to a Chinese dive restaurant then eat this slop. I was sad that my family had a terrible meal And it was not cheap.

So, yeah. Meh. We were meeting a friend from out of town, otherwise I would have avoided this place. We had a brand new waiter. Which is fine, since he's sweet, but he really didn't know what was going on. He seemed really unsure about what to do and was going on. The service was generally OK, but got wonky at times. The food, generally, tastes like it was cooked by a very average American chef who saw a kung fu movie once. There is little that's identifiably Asian in the flavor palate. It's mostly not bad food, but is disappointing. The brown rice, on the other hand, was disgusting. It tasted like the fecal byproduct of a bale of hay. Terrible flavor and horrific texture. DO NOT order it. All in all? Meh. Not bad overall, but meh.

Wow what happened. Their dine in is still good but I recently got carry out and it was awful. Food was pretty cold and tasted lousy. The chicken was stringy. Yech. THe only decent thing was the hot/sour soup.

PF Chang's gets a solid 4 stars from me, solely from the merits of our server, Nancy. Along with the rest of the support staff, she was awesome start to finish. Attentive, friendly, not intrusive at all. She's everything I enjoy about serving and being served. Oh yeah, they have food here too. It's good. Not the best I've had, but it's solid. I got the orange peel beef, cooked with red chilies and fresh orange peel. I was expecting spicier, but it didn't pop like I had hoped. It was also reaaaally saucy, and so in turn, pretty salty. Plus the white rice tasted like it had been in the kettle a bit too long. But a little red chili oil (included tableside) did the trick. Dragon Inn North still holds the title for best orange beef, so far. I got a chance to try a little bit of the egg drop soup, and it was delicious! bursting with flavor. i could've done without the mushrooms, but i guess i could get over it. Overall, good stuff. Now that I've been here, I'll probably only return before 4pm and stick to ordering the special lunch bowls, especially the Cashew Chicken. Value-priced and generously portioned, lunch bowls are the best food value on the whole menu.

TACKY! On July 21, our party of 11 spent $439 for dinner. When I tried to use a $10 coupon the manager told me that it was unacceptable because 2 members of our party had ordered a dinner for 2 special. Otherwise, the service and waitstaff were very good and permitted us to linger to talk. The food was quite good and most of us took leftovers home. The atmosphere was pleasant and not too noisy. The wine list was reasonable and included a sufficiently wide choice.

I hate P.F. Chang's. Truly detest it. When everyone at work suggested we go, I grudgingly went along figuring that I could have some egg drop soup. To my surprise the gluten free menu has been expanded. And it doesn't suck too bad. Yes, it's overpriced and relatively flavorless, but you add enough chili sauce and just about anything tastes ok. The service was efficient.

  • Raven M.

My first experience at a P.F. Chang's was in Las Vegas. After trying their lettuce wraps, I was hooked. Since then, it has been a treat for me to dine at a few of their many locations. Unfortunately, my experience at this location was disappointing. I wanted to like this place. It's conveniently located off Butterfield Rd and has an attractive atmosphere, which is why I give an extra star. I was recently here for lunch on a weekday afternoon. The service was sub-par and the food way too salty. I ordered the Kung Pao Beef and of course my favorite lettuce wraps. The lettuce wraps were great but the Kung Pao Beef tasted like I was eating nothing but salt. Sadly, I couldn't finish it. Hopefully I just caught them on an off day. I may give them another look when I'm in the area again. Perhaps try a safe dish that doesn't call for soy sauce.

The food gets 4 stars. The service gets 1 star. There are no 1/2 stars so...I rounded down. I'll go back but for the food and not the service. Our server informed us early on that he "never forgets a thing." Oddly, when our meals came out, what did he forget to do? Put my food order in. Brilliant. Before we ordered I asked if he'd prefer us to split up tabs now or at the end of the meal (big party, array of bills per couple/group) to which he told me, "no problem, I prefer to do it at the end of the meal." End of the meal comes - I ask if he's ready to split the tabs up and he says, "serious? I thought you were joking before." Everything came out ridiculously slow for a Monday night...or for any night. Though appetizers were ordered early on, he wanted to wait to put those orders in until our drinks came up (...why?). Really slow, geriatric-like service aside - the food was really tasty and everyone in our big party seemed to really enjoy the food. The beer list was longer than expected and better priced than most chain restaurants in the area. As mentioned before, service was truly a disappointment but the food was delicious and I'll have to go back another time to try something new!

We went here on a Friday night with a couple of our friends last week and my review in one line is: I will probably be coming back. Word of warning to some, if you don't like a loud restaurant - don't come here on a Friday or Saturday night. It was VERY loud inside at 7:30pm which was a little irritating at first because we could hardly hear one another talk, but the crowd thinned out as the night went on and the volume level dropped to a more reasonable volume (just channeled my inner "Office Space" there). I had the Honey Chicken and it was phenomenal. You know how at some cheap Chinese takeout places the chicken chunks have a lot of fat on them? Not so here, the chicken was chicken through and through and the glaze was REALLY good. My wife had the salmon which disappointed her greatly, but I'm not sure ordering salmon at a Chinese place is a good call to begin with. The bill was really pretty reasonable, we had a couple of appetizers, 6 alcoholic beverages combined and 4 entrees and the total was right around $120 before tip - not bad for 4 people. I really enjoyed the food and I think the next time we come, it'll be in the middle of the week when there's less of a crowd.

Meh. it was ok, IMO. I was a little confused by the amount of "ground chicken," in everything. Chicken that goes through the food processor and gets added to everything? I guess it's easier than chopping it by hand. It was a little weird to me. The spring rolls were a very good appetizer, the wonton soup was huge and pretty good, and the chocolate dome dessert was awesome. I had enough noodles left over from my entree to eat for at least three more nights. I liked the lettuce wraps as well, though it came with more ground chicken, same as my entree. Our waitress was kinda out there. She needed to elaborate on everything, interrupting conversations way too often (and saying loudly, no no, please keep talking) to give these long-winded speeches. With these, she included elaborate hand motions, as though she were doing some sort of interpretive dance, and proceeded to go on with these every time she reached across the table. I'm all for attentive service, but when she needed to explain how she mixed the sauces for us while doing an interpretive Dance of the Seven Chili Peppers of the Lost World, my whole family got a bit annoyed. OK, but I wouldn't go there that often...

I'm not impressed with P.F. Changs. Most of the dishes have a lot of sugar added to them and the sauces are thick and congeal quickly. I've had the hot and sour soup here and it was just really salty and gelatinous.

Lettuce wraps, seared ahi tuna both are very good appetizers. Egg drop soup-tasted more like chicken soup, had very little egg whites, and no sesame oil. I added some at the table which helped out a bit. We've had the spicy chicken, sesame chicken, moo goo gai pan, and shrimp with lobster sauce. All good, but the moo goo not so much. Their "interpretation" of moo goo had shrimp mixed in with the chicken and I found that weird and undesirable. I love their hot sauce mixtures at the table. Last visit our server mixed up a nice hot batch just to my liking. Made the top of my head sweat! We had leftovers and they folded the bag origami style- very cool. This food is very different than the 'normal' chinese places, but I like it for a change of pace. everything is fresh, and well prepared. It's also nice to have the brown rice option for the health kick conscious.

The best description of this restaurant is: meh. They will always have some hits, including their lettuce wraps, pot stickers and combination fried rice. But a lot of the dishes are plain and expensive. It seems to have gotten more commercialized since this location first opened up about 7-10 years ago. All in all, the food isn't bad, its just nothing too spectacular, especially considering what you pay.

I'll never understand how people continually slam this place - It's official, I heart PF Changs - and I always order the same things! I start off with their egg drop soup, which I adore. Sometimes I order the crab wontons - delicious! Love the dipping sauce that comes with it. I ALWAYS get the mongolian beef - I love it so much because there's a sweetness to it that just makes it to die for. I absolutely have to have chicken fried rice on the side - best ever! I don't dine-in as often as I do take-out - I work in Aurora and live in Westchester, so if I call when I leave work to place my order, it's ready by the time I get to Lombard, which is a huge plus :)

We come here once a year for my hunny's birthday and usually know what to expect. Crowded. Dim lighting. Lots of food. This time was a bit frustrating because we made reservation a few weeks in advance, but our table for 10 wasn't seated until 20 minutes after our reservation time. (Not fun, considering 80% of our party was there around 7:30.) Alas, we were seated, and I knew I was ready to order some wine for me and my girls. The Gewurtz and Riesling were good picks. Unfortunately I NEVER know what to order in fear that I'll order something I don't like. Everything I've had there has been just ok. This time was different. Just like everyone else says, order the lettuce wraps. They are quite the crowd pleaser! For my meal, I chose the spicy chicken. It sounded generic but tasted fantastic! It was not too spicy at all. I promise (though you probably don't believe me because I love-love-love anything spicy!) It had a very pleasing flavor and was cooked to perfection. I also got double pan fried noodles since he and I were splitting our meal. Those had a good flavor as well. Tons of food! The service was random. Some of us were ready to order drinks, apps and meals before others, some people wanted to order but weren't approached, I didn't even know which guy was our server (my back was to him due to the seating arrangements) and I just kept asking anyone that came up to us for whatever we needed. After I tipped them off, hey surprised the birthday boy with mini desserts and candles so that was nice. Mandatory 18% gratuity makes sense but we usually tip 20% so oh well ... but I bet it comes out as more in the long run with larger parties anyway. They split the checks incorrectly as well. It happens, but it delayed our group from going out for drinks!

I went here for my mom's birthday on a Friday night. I'm glad we got reservations because this place was packed! We had a large table for about 10 people and people who got there early snagged a seat at the bar for some drinks. They enjoyed theirs. Because I didn't want to make the bill complicated, I had my husband order our drinks from the bar. A few minutes after he gave me my drink a server came by asking for my ID. That didn't bother me, but I guess they really watch out for that stuff. I had a mojito and it was terribly flat. I had the waiter replace it. Overall, the food was satisfying and came out quickly. No problems with service. Nothing super memorable about it.

I love PF Chang's, I've never had a bad experience. And I go there all the time! They have a Chang's card that helps you save 10% on every bill. There is always something on the menu, that you can eat and enjoy. Despite your diet. Vegetarian, Gluten free, etc. I suggest to anyone. Trying there banana egg roll dessert with homemade coconut ice cream, drizzled caramel and mixed berries. It's so scrumptious! And if your on a budget, The 2 for $40 deal is a good deal. Both people get a soup, a entrée each, one appetizer and two mini desserts. You will be so full!

Wife and I eat here two weekends in a row. First time we ordered appetizers and they did not come until AFTER our main meal came. This past week end O ordered the egg drop soup as an appetizer and never got it. The waitress was also very slow, waited over 10 minutes to get water. After we got our meals, she did not come back to check on us or our drinks. So, food is good, service not so good.

It's hard to find a bad thing to say about PF Chang's-- other than perhaps they're predictably predictable. Pretty and friendly staff? Check. Consistent food? Check. Loud music and big crowds? Check, check. Like all the other PF Chang's I've visited in many a city, the food is good, it's served fast (and hot) and the waiter always mixes your spicy mustard, chilli and soy sauce in must the same way (always mild, even when you ask for it spicy). My husband loves this place which is why whenever we go to the US and there's a PF Chang in the vicinity, we seek it out. He always orders something with a lot of meat and I always go for seafood or a veggie option. And of course, chicken lettuce wraps are a must. Lombard was no different-- although super crowded for a weekday! Very family friendly (i'm guessing the suburban location helps), they didn't even blink at the food on the floor or occasional outburst from the littles that made up our party (although some of the other diners were none too keen-- but we don't care about them). In all, happy to carry on our quest to visit every PF Chang's in the US.

This is the go to place for my girlfriend and I for dinner. She is Gluten Free so that can be a bit of a challenge at times to find places where she can actually have a real meal instead of just picking at something that she found on a regular menu. PF Changs has a whole Gluten Free menu, and it's not like some places who have "Gluten Free" menus where you can get a burger with no bun or a plain salad, PF Changs actually have a lot of really good options. They even bring a separate assortment of gluten free sauces to the table. In terms of appetizers the one thing everyone thinks of with PF Changs is the lettuce wraps, and for good reason, they are awesome. I won't try to describe them too much, just get them and see for yourself. Another good choice is the Crab Rangoon. I am a crab Rangoon fanatic and anywhere I go that has them, I HAVE to try them. PF Changs is up there among my favorites. (My favorite is Cida Thai in LaGrange, IL) They have a good amount of crab as well as diced vegetables, they're fried perfectly and served with a nice sauce. For entrees, I usually get the Double Pan Fried Noodles with chicken and shrimp. Which I love, the sauce is really good and the noodles are always cooked perfectly. There is just the right amount of food too. My girlfriend usually gets the Gluten Free (obviously) Singapore Street Noodles. I've tried them myself too and I really like them, the noodles are lighter than the ones I get but still really filling. I also like the Orange Peel Chicken, it's kind of an American Chinese food staple and they do a great job with it, the orange flavor is there but not overpowering and the sauce is slightly thicker than a lot of places but really good and slightly spicy. The service is good here and they don't hang around more than you want them too like some restaurants where the servers just want to seem attentive. All in all one of my favorite places for a regular night out.

Really, honestly, truly just okay. The lettuce wraps alone would totally skew PF Chang's rating as this appetizer is what seems to sail a thousand ships. I'm not disagreeing with this claim, but the entrees and desserts leave me a bit stranded on the island with a rumbling stomach. Their vegetarian section of the menu is about a quarter of the page--impressive! Seriously, giving me more than two options already earned some stars in my book. The atmosphere is classy, chatty, dimly lit and great for dates. This place really packs in a tight crowd with a line out the door to prove it. I feel like each sentence I write deserves a "but" or "except" and I'm not fully satisfied writing this until I divulge my true feelings. PF Chang's is all talk and no walk. They've made a name for themselves with lettuce wraps and a classy look. Living in Lombard, I can understand the appeal. However, Oak Brook is just down the road with some real winning restaurants. The entrees weren't really any better than a fast food Chinese restaurant, and the desserts were just awful. The presentation of the desserts are cutely displayed in small glass cups with layers of what tasted like pure sugar. There is no real flavor, and your lasting memory of this dessert will be the charming presentation and your diabetes medical supplies. If it weren't for the gift card, I wouldn't have come back.

You pretty much know what to expect with chains like PF Chang's. On any other visit I'd probably go with 4 stars - average service, average food, lots of options on the menu, and I really appreciate the attention they give to helping you make better food choices - nutritional information, vegetarian notations, gluten-free options, etc. Plus they take reservations, which was surprisingly necessary on a Sunday afternoon around 2pm. On this visit, however, I went with the salmon lunch bowl and was a little disappointed. The asparagus was good (not overcooked, thankfully), and the brown rice was just the right amount of sticky, but the fish was overcooked, dry, and totally boring. I guess it serves me right for trying to stay healthy at a place where I'd really rather be eating the double fried pan noodles. My mom's mandarin chicken was okay - a little too citrusy for my taste, but she enjoyed it. And my dad's kung pao chicken was quite good - not overly breaded as so often happens at other joints - although I could have handled another notch or two up on the spiciness. Just avoid the most boring salmon in the world and you'll have a decent meal!

I never dined at this particular location but did cater an office lunch using them. Only complaint is that some of the dishes weren't packed properly and spilled onto the utensil packs, rendering them sticky and unusable. Everything was hot and ready for me to pick up without a wait so that gains back a star!

Did I ever tell you my favorite story about PF Changs???? Well besides the fabulous company we were with, my favorite PF Changs memory is not from this location. We got in around 6:20 for our 6:30 reservation and they were to seat us in a centered table near all the other guests, I apologized and asked if we could have a booth next to the window. I feel that I must warn restaurant hosts that I am very loud and that I may offend the other guests. We got into our booth and were waiting for our 3 other guests for about 15 minutes when I noticed them seated at a table across the restaurant at another table with drinks! They came over to us with their server and the server apologized for the hosts mistake. The server said that happens often..... Our guests originally told the hosts that they were with our group but proceeded to still seat them at another table entirely! Ummm. Crack is whack. Long story short: The service could have been better, our server was weeded and couldn't even keep my water filled. I was only drinking water as well, I had to drink my kids water to keep up with my thirst! The food was so good, you have to admit it even when the odds are against the restaurant. I love the steamed shrimp pot stickers and the garlic noodles as a shared meal and I always have a bite of the vegetable lettuce wraps!! My hubby ordered the orange chicken the spicy appetizer shrimp, he cleaned his plate and was very, very full, obviously he liked it. My son though wasn't so thrilled about all that food. The kids chicken bites were so small in portion and he was hungry within 5 minutes of eating his food. Our guests were happy with their food but couldn't get a refill on their ice teas, so I didn't take my lack of water refill that personally. Our son ordered the Great Wall of Chocolate and we also split the cheesecake between all of us. Dessert Goodness Coma-rific times indeed! (All and all) the food was good, the service certainly could have been better and the hosts need to lay off the phones and get the floor organized. Ill be back for take out.

PF Changs is by far not the best Chinese food that I have but its fine for the need a place to go-just got out of the mall sort of dining experience. It gets two stars for the food but three stars for the service we got which was really great My family went here as a welcome back lunch for my dad; we of course got the lettuce wraps which were really good but didn't come with enough lettuce leaves. We then ordered the double pan friend noodles which I highly recommend. Those were great. And the stir fried eggplant was also very good and worth a try. The moo goo gan pai is as bland as its name is confusing. It lacked flavor and I would definitely caution everybody from ordering it even though it shows up on its lunch specials and regular which would suggest that its popular but its not good. Mongolian beef was all right, nothing special. We brought a cake from outside to eat for dessert and our waiter was really great about getting it served for us. :)

Great food and service! What more can I ask for!? The food was better than I remembered. Lettuce wraps for good but would like more sauces to go along with it. Calamari taste diiferent than usual calamari but also tasty and tasty sauce comes with it. I ordered the shrimp in lobster sauce and it was deeelish! Other entrees we tried was the mongolian beef, which as was also deeelish cuz it had a sweet twang to it. Our waitress was really nice and accommodating to all our needs. We came early on Saturday afternoon which was good timing cuz this place gets really crowded after noon.

I first started with the egg rolls as a starter. Eh. They were plain. Not much flavor. I know why they want to try and mix sauces for you; which I said I would myself, thank you (Me being a Cook and all). My entree was Crab Fried Rice with a side of Sichuan Asparagus. The Crab Fried Rice was to DIE for! LOVED IT! However, the asparagus KILLED my taste buds. I tasted nothing but fire on my taste buds. It was really sad because I LOVE asparagus. Good thing it was only 3 bucks. My lady ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. That I would have to say was pretty legit. I could tell that they Tempura the chicken, which gave it a light, crispy texture but also a juicy chicken piece and then lightly coated it with their sauce. I enjoyed that. Chang's is a restaurant that I would DEFINITELY be back again for some MORE! However, a side question; Is the Oolong Bass the "Best" dish for their seafood? Because when I asked the server which one is, she suggested that. Though I noticed it was the most expensive item on the menu. So if some people can get back to me with THEIR opinion, that would be lovely. Because I work in a restaurant and I know how to play the game too of making a sale. Lol Thanks P.F Changs! You won my heart!

Arrived at PFs on a very busy Saturday night for a friends party, reservations were set, the ladies at the front must be extremely prepared because we were told we could be seated at any time our table was ready! Score! Very nice table, plenty of space for everyone. Huge menu, large portions. Everything was great and when it wasn't there was no fuss in sending back an item deemed too spicy. I am usually not a fan of chain places but the customer service was amazing!

I have eaten at PF Changs a lot...but tonight's dish was spectacular. I had the new Sea Bass with Tropical Salsa. Absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of fishy and salsa with a surprisingly sweet mango addition and just the right amount of kick. I highly recommend this dish and I hope they keep it around. Phenomenal is all I can say. My husband thought it was a bit 'fishy' but I didn't and my 25 year old son devoured the leftovers.

Pleasant ambiance (similar to other chain restaurants, ie. cheesecake factory)...decently-prepared, fresh ingredients... and wonderful services (our cute waitress was perfectly friendly & attentive w/out being overwhelming). However, we just didn't love it, probably because we're not too thrilled with americanized-Chinese food. Here is how I'd rank the dishes we ordered (best to worst): OOLONG MARINATED SEA BASS - melt-in-your mouth bass w/ fresh baby spinach. tasty, but there's no hints of oolong at all. tasted like typical broiled sea bass easily found at other restaurants. VIP DUCK - I really wanted to love this dish, because I do enjoy Chinese wraps (ie. peking duck). The flavor of the duck was underwhelming, slightly tough. They should've provided more pancake for wrapping. CHANG'S CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP (BOWL) - felt like a lighter version of tom yum soup. it was decent, but nothing spectacular. CHANG'S CHICKEN LETTUCE WRAPS - epitome of a very general dish SWEET & SOUR CHICKEN - not a fan...the most americanized of all We won't be back.

Oooo lets sit in a cold & sterlie, wide-open space to enjoy our generic Chinese food. Let's listen to the echoes and take comfort in other people's conversations. I have never been impressed with this location or the chain period. I've attempted to enjoy several dishes and nothing cuts it.

I had never eaten at P.F. Chang's, but have heard good things. I also recall seeing at least 2 websites that listed this place as one of the top Chinese restaurants in all of Chicago. Let me cut to the chase and ask WTF were those people thinking? If a restaurant in Chinatown served this level of food, it'd be closed within a month. Chinese people would talk shit about them even after they shut down. I'm not faulting P.F. Chang's for being unauthentic. I like fake Chinese food as much as the next American, but it has to at least taste OK. We started with hot and sour soup which was overly sour/vinegary. The hot vs. sour balance was totally off. Our entrees consisted of Chang's spicy chicken and wok-charred beef. The chicken was dry. Beef had a nice char flavor, but was greasy. Both were listed as spicy and I asked for extra heat. Despite the menu's description and my special request, I had to use almost all the chili sauce on our table. In terms of value, I was surprised the dishes were so small, considering they were $12-$15 per entree. We didn't have any leftovers. My recommendation is skip P.F. Chang's and head over to any mom and pop Chinese carryout place. At the latter, you'll get twice as much food for half the price. Better yet, check out one of my profile pics of the roast goose and BBQ pork rice dish. All in, I paid less than $5! The downside is you'd have to spend about $1,200 for a ticket to Hong Kong. =]

I wasn't impressed! I don't think it's any better than any local takeout chinese restaurant, honestly. I had been wanting to go here forever and ever due to all of the rant and rave about it and I went and I can sum up my food in a few words: overpriced, bland, and ordinary. It was so much less than I expected. Not to mention our waiter was slow... I have friends that swear by this place so maybe I just had a bad experience, but either way, I'm not going back unless it's my friends birthday and that's the only place they want to go or something like that. I'd rather call the Chinese place down the street from me, pay 1/2 the price, and get food that has flavor.

Close to the Hyatt Place, I ate here for dinner while in town for business. The food was about what I expected from eating at other PF Chang's but wasn't great for the price. It was kind of late when I ordered so maybe the food wasn't as fresh as it would have been earlier. I would eat at PF Chang's somewhere else again but next time I'm in town I think I'll skip this one.

I completely fail to understand the popularity of PF Changs. High prices, mediocre (if not sometimes awful) food, and long waits - what IS the draw. Look, if you want Chinese food or other Asian fare, head downtown and check out some great genuine restaurants. Chicago has tons to offer. If you want American chain crap, head to Chilis or Bennigans. I just don't see why anyone ends up here.

Meh. It is what it is. I used to go to this PF Chang's once a week when I lived in the area...partly b/c of the chocolate cake and partly b/c I always knew what I was getting. We went here Monday night to celebrate a friend's birthday and had an interesting experience. Our server seemed cool at first and not too intimidated by the 8 of us, but things quickly went south. It took forever for us to get our drinks, but he at least seemed attentive, like he knew they were coming and he'd put the order in. We told him from the start we were going to want separate checks (bah, we're assholes), but he said we'd deal with that later. So we continue to drink, snack on our apps, and wait, and wait, and wait for our entrees. When they finally come out, we're one short. He forgot to put in my husband's food. Oooops. When we're done, it takes FOREVER for him to ask if we want dessert. He comes back and we ask for our checks, tell him out we want them split, and he thought we were joking about the split checks. So, he proceeded to take our orders again, so he could split the checks. Yup, that really happened. Oh yes, and he commented from that start that he "never forgets anything." Like someone's food order? I'm not going to totally dog the server b/c I totally understand it could have been an off night. It just wasn't the experience I was used to at this place.

Ate there one time quite a while ago. Ordered some spring rolls and they came with a black hair cooked in one of them and it was sticking straight out. That was the end of PF Changs for us. The manager gave us one free dinner. So we still paid for one dinner that we really did not want to eat and find another surprise.

Came here with a few co-workers on a recent business trip. We started with Ribs and the Seared Ahi Tuna. I must say, the Ahi was probably the best I've had in a long time. I just about ignored everything else at at the table. We had the Mongolian Beef and some really excellent Lo Mein Rice dish. The waiters were attentive and all in all we had a really nice dining experience.

The people that slam this place just because it is a chain are so fake. PF Changs is one of my favorites, excellent selection of Veg and non-Veg items and a good liquor bar. I have never had a bad meal here, these folks always use fresh ingredients and every thing is cook after you order, no pre-prep. Expensive? Not really if you take a family of 4 and stay away from coke and beer, the bill will be around $35 - $45 which is very reasonable.

LETTUCE WRAPS. Give me a huge plate of those and I'll be just fine. They are amazing. I love their Mongolian Beef and Black Bean Chicken. You don't feel like you're in a chinese restaurant when you're in there, but I don't care. The food rocks.

I'm a Chicago China Town guy, so suburban Chinese to me just don't make it. And, I get the sneaking suspicion that Chinese dudes aren't working in the kitchen. Guadalajera, maybe, but I can't say for sure (alright, maybe I'm going to Hell for that). The food certainly wasn't bad albeit expensive for the portions that you get, and they ignore you when you specify "Spicey" because I am presuming they are figuring because you are not Asian you really don't mean it or don't know better. That's my biggest beef with most suburban Chinese restaurants. I was also a bit suspicious that the food might be assembly lined and waiting under a heat lamp because, wow, we no sooner ordered and our food was out quicker than a McDonalds Drive-Thru. But, all that aside, it is what it is. It's a nice social atmosphere, and the food doesn't actually suck. It is indeed tasty, and unique, especially the iceberg lettuce wraps. I thought it was a bit pricey., though. Three couples $240.00 with drinks and tip. For that price in Chinatown you could feed Darfur. But, to be fair, we weren't shy with the appetizers, and the Mai Tai's and Mojito's (one round) for the ladys drove up the meter, However...those Mai Tai's may just as well have been kiddy cocktails. One would think that after just one there should be somewhat of a change of venue in one's circulatory system within the brain, no? Not with these. Stick with the wines, beers, or spirits or emphasize to the waitress you at least expect to FEEL the alcohol affects in the fruity drinks, so she gets the hint. The oldest bartender trick in the book seems to be in evidence here so let the buyer beware. Conversely, the men had two karafe's of Pinot Noir Red (House) and were feeling pretty spunky. Our waitress, a ten year veteran, and a lovely lovely person ( and a bit MILFish, I might add) was helpful, not too pushy, suggested reasonable alternatives to otherwise expensive customer mistakes....a customer advocate. The bar looked pretty cool and blended in nicely with the atmosphere. There is a wait if you don't reserve, so reservations are suggested. I like it, though. But, for Chinese food flavor and authenticity I reserve my heart for Chicago China Town, specifically The Golden Bull or Moon Palace (if interested), but dont let that discourage you. PF is a Good date night place. Just bring $$$, and maybe a little airline bottle of vodka in your pocket to spike the punch if you get a Mai Tai.

As always I am late in my review but I went here again this past weekend: Okay first time experience in 2005 it was great although crowded as all get out, of course it was summer and a Friday the price is reasonable 5/31/08 - Went in at 10:00 an hour before closing time and was quickly seated. I must say I was so happy that despite the time crunch our food was still well prepared. I had the shrimp LoMein and he had spicy Mongolian Beef, both of our favs and because the portion sizes are so huge we had enough for lunch the next day. The house White was great and crisp. Total bill was 40.00 give or take not including tip. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere and customer service!

If your a chinese food fan then you will love PF Chang's! Service is friendly, and REALLY good even when it's very busy. I don't have anything bad to say about PF Chang's. The price is moderate, but not too exspensive. I reconmend: chicken lettuce wraps Any of the dumplings Eggdrop soup Sweet and Sour Chicken The Pan fried noodles Red Velvet Cake If you want good chinese food, good service, and a relaxing atmosphere then PF Chang's is the place to be!

They increased the prices since the last time I came here. The menus look different ... "classier," if you will. Things on the menu are pretty much still the same. Salty noodle dishes, but the other dishes seem to be pretty good, especially if eaten with rice. The ONE thing I love about this place is the banana spring rolls. I love coconut pineapple ice cream! I would recommend this place solely to try this dessert.

Yay- I am a fan of PF Changs. It is a chain but a chain with great food and quality ingredients. It's even kid friendly with an inexpensive kids menu with lots of options for kids who love or hate chinese food. Don't miss out on the lettuce wraps.. they are the bst I've ever had.

This is a great place. The "sauce for your table" schtick is tired, but the food is consistently good. The long beans are a great add, since few of their meat dishes come with little-to-no vegetables. Their tropical drinks are also a good add, but not cheap. This is also the one place from Finley Rd. to Oakbrook mall that you can bypass the chronic 90-minute wait on weekend nights by calling ahead.

Get ready for a big bill, but it's worth it. Inside it is dimly lit with modern embellishments, beautiful bar area. Good wait staff. You might be waiting if the place is crowded, but usually they are very attentive. The food is incredible. Don't miss out on the crab wontons-they are unbelievable. The steamed peking dumplings are delicious, as well. You must try the beef lo mein. It has the most intense grilled flavor accented with the tender beef and fresh veggies. The spicy chicken and the lemon chicken is so juicy and tender and yummy. The seafood list is awesome, too. Don't forget to order one of the delicious dessert items on the menu with some coffee to finish off an incredible experience.

PF Chang's is my favorite restaurant in the whole wide world. Take from that whatever you want. I'm not classy, I'm cheesy, I'm a stupid American who doesn't appreciate culture... blah blah blah GFY. I love Changs. My Changs love is infinitely larger due to the fact that I used to work there, at this particular location, and ate the food every single day. This Changs is super clean, the employees work incredibly hard, and the food. is. ridiculous. I have had every single thing on the menu and everything is amazing (even the stuff I'm not crazy about, like Singapore Street Noodles.) I just don't know how you can go into a Changs, order Mongolian Beef extra crispy, extra spicy and add broccoli and NOT believe that there is a God. Ugh I wish I was could give it 6 stars.. 10 stars... the sky is the limit. Changs just has consistently amazing food. This is of course due to massive amounts of salt and fat but check your concerns at the door and just enjoy the wonder that is.... PF Changs.

Chang's gets 5 stars this time around just for one reason... great service! Otherwise, it would of been more of a 4. We were going for a early dinner on Saturday and were greeted with a 30 minute wait. No problem. The wait turned out to be about a minute and half! We sat down at a waiting table and our server came along and put her hand on the table and said "I got a table just like this one across the restaurant for you!" We had the lettuce wraps and egg rolls for apps and dinner. The server could not of done a better job, hand pouring beers, being friendly, packing doggy bags etc... She was knowledgable and offering of the gluten-free menu, very helpful. Great job. The food was good, timely, great portions. Chang's has a tendancy to over-season everything in my opinion but was very good. Bottom line, it was very good food, great service! To all the servers reading this, it is true, you can make the difference. Well done!

For a chain, this place is really good. We often come here for occasions like birthdays or Mother's Day and everyone is able to find something on the menu that they like. Auntie Chang's Fruit drink is fabulous - fruit and honey and yogurt. The Lettuce wraps are delicious and the crab won ton are also great. Entrees are huge and diverse and full of fresh flavors. The nice touch comes with the specially mixed sauce at the table - oh, and the shooter desserts - trendy, I know, but nice when you are so stuffed, but want a little something sweet to end the meal besides a fortune cookie.

I really don't think there is anything I DON'T like about this place! They have great Asian fusion food and really good service, too!! And I think this is my favorite location that I have been to, which is only this one and the Schaumburg one. But I always start with the Chicken Lettuce Wraps...Mmmm!! And I have gotten their pot stickers, which are very good, Chang's Chicken, Mongolian Beef, Beef & Broccoli, Chicken Fried Rice, Garlic Street Noodles (I think that's the name), Orange Chicken...and probably a few more that I can't think of right now. But I LOVE everything here and go back often. In my opinion, a definite must try!

I don't really understand the appeal given the high prices, but the food is decent. The ingredients are not nearly as fresh as smaller asian places. Large crowds, sometimes hard to park, and a bit of a wait even with reservations, so try your corner Chinese place for probably a better experience.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
