Family owned and operated. Nice people. Clean little store front in downtown Lockport. These people truly care and take pride in what they're putting out. Doesn't matter what it is. The sandwiches are excellent. I keep saying I'm gonna order something else off their menu put have trouble getting passed them. I mean, come on... They slice the meat and cheese fresh while you wait!! Their polish plate is legit. Yes. I said polish plate! Sausage, pierogi, sauerkraut, stuffed cabbage, potato pancakes... All REALLY REALLY good. Need to order ahead for that one which I'd say is all sorts of a good sign. And the cabbage pierogi are almost as good as mom's... that's sayin something. Even their pizza and Italian beef are REALLY GOOD. I'd honestly put it up against any pizza place in the city. I lived in Chicago for several years and amassed quite a list of Chicago pizza joints that I've visited so I'm more than confident making that statement. They have an extensive menu that includes salads, fried chicken, ribs, burgers, paninis. I've come no where near trying everything but it's safe to say whatever you get will be awesome. I just love this little place. If you want fast go elsewhere as food takes a little longer than most carry out type places but come on... They're making it fresh to order. It's well worth it. If you appreciate fresh food made by people that care about what they're doing, such a hard quality to find anymore, go to State St. Go support this place. Not enough little gems like this.

I was working near downtown Lockport a few years ago and we used to take our lunch here all the time. Never had one bad experience. Yesterday, I returned to do the same with a friend and to my amazement, the woman taking my order (who I've always assumed was part owner) remembered me! She asked how I was doing (with a smile) and we had a very nice short little chat. It's one of the things I like most about this place...the personal touch. So are you hungry? Good, 'cause this place has something for everyone and serves everything in very large portions. The menu board is so long that you may be a little overwhelmed at first, but take your time. They'll understand. After ordering, it may take a little longer to get your food than it does at most fast food places, but trust me, it's worth the wait. Prices are about what you'd expect to pay for this style of restaurant and there's ample seating in front. Got kids? There's an adjoining "Fun" room next door with more seating and plenty of gaming to keep them occupied. It may cost you more for the tokens, but the kids'll be happy and you may just get to enjoy your meal in peace. For a few minutes, anyway. Check it out!

Good for pick up, not bad for sit down if you have kids. It is like a glorified "Chicago Beef/hot dog" place. Let me clarify, they are not about that...but they have the staples...beef, sausage, hot dogs, pizza puff, etc. But then they take it further by having ribs, panini's, pork tenderloin sandwich, pizza, and so many more options. They have an area on one side of the place that has a pool table, old arcade games, and other stuff for your kids. My wife had the roast beef panini and said it was good. I had the pork tenderloin sanwich, which wasn't bad....and for $4.99 it was solid. I didn't like how they charged you $.50 for keeping the skins on the french fries...thought that was odd. It took about 15 minutes with only 3 or 4 people in there, which tells me it wasn't just nuked. - I changed it down to a 3 star because the last two times I was there I was not impressed with the food I got, my wife still loves it. My sandwiches were very salty I thought.

Was in the burbs from the city and made sure I visited. Husbo used to live in Lockport when we were dating - This was a weekend staple for us. Depth Charge, Po Boy, Jalepeno Poppers, and the added game room....pizza...yeah - it's pretty much late night, drunkard, snack, junk food - but it's junk food at its finest. love this place.

Variety, Variety, VARIETY!!! This place has just about any quick-food imaginable! I have never in my life seen such a selection of food choices in one restaurant before!! Everything we've tried here so far has been fantastically DELICIOUS!! Great value for the money too! You won't be sorry!!

I have passed this place by for years and finally decided to take the plunge. They had a massive amount of variety (almost too much) but I kept it simple and I got a single cheeseburger, fry and drink. The cheeseburger was merely ok, thin burger patty and few toppings (Which they put on the bottom half of the bun, not my preference but easily fixable). I paid 2.39 and got something about the same size as a dollar burger at McDonalds. The fries were hot but really uninspired. Kind of like they bought a bag of frozen fries from the grocer. The drink was fine though I skipped the re-fill simply so I could leave sooner. There is better and cheaper for the same elsewhere. As for a return visit? No likely soon but at least now I know what to avoid.

One of my favorite places to eat in Lockport! It's changed over the past 14 years I've been going there and all for the better! My kids enjoy it as well especially since you can play some arcade games or shoot some pool while you wait on your order! The friendliest staff and awesome food! I get the gyro plate quite often!

I really want to like this place. I have had some good food here, and some very BAD food here. This is one of those places you will see on Restaurant Impossible or Kitchen Nightmares. Their menu is HUGE, They have everything, how can you make so many things delicious? You can't, stuff suffers. We ordered Pirogi's last Thursday June 18th. A dozen sauerkraut and mushroom, with butter and bacon. Upon arriving home, a dozen with no butter but sour cream. Ewww. When I called the same guy answered whom I placed the order with. I explained what happened and he said, OH. I was like so now what, his response was silence. Later that night about midnight my wife had cramps and diarrhea. That is what she had to eat since 1pm. No more pirogi's from State street Restaurant. Not sure we will return. We want to like State as they have enough variety that all of us can eat our favorites.

Im giving this place 5 stars. They make AMAZING pizza here. It's a family run business and their dedication shows in their food. They have a multi national menu but we really enjoy the pizza here. I have worked in probably 10 pizza places over the years and can say they really have their pizza down. The waits for pickups can be pretty long (1hr most nights) sometimes good things are worth waiting for. Wish they offered green olives (in a dream world at least one pizza place would offer goat cheese as a topping)

Where else can you get Perogis and paninis at the same place. This is a nice downtown eatery in Lockport with a game room for your kids parties and they also serve ice cream. They serve this along with a lot of food of all types making this a unique business and worth visiting.

Love this place! They deliver too which is great! Their menu will satisfy any hunger pang. My favorite though is probably random. ... But their egg salad sandwich is Soooooo good!!!!!
