Going into this I was expecting two things. Small portion sizes and mean wait staff. The food ended up being awesome but the wait staff lived up to the reputation. The waitress could not have acted more upset by my presence. I get the feeling this is a family owned establishment and she is being forced to work there. BUT THE ROLLS! So good. I got the Sakura roll and the tempura shrimp roll. Both very tasty.

The service here is fast and friendly, the decor is modern and welcoming, and the food is always excellent. I highly recommend their rainbow roll, spicy tuna roll, snow mountain roll, udon, and the crabmeat tempura.

This has become one of my go to restaurants in Litchfield. I have been a couple of times now and the sushi has been consistently fresh and tasty. The fish portions could be a little more generous, but overall we always leave feeling satisfied! I recommend trying one of their special rolls -- we try a new one every time and have liked them all so far. Service is good and prices are reasonable. Give it a try!

I have it three stars instead of two, simply because there are no other sushi places close by. I ordered a rainbow roll and a fountain soda, my bill was $12.01 which might not have been too bad, had I been close to full after eating this minuscule roll that was barely larger than a quarter. The taste was mediocre, but a little on the salty side for crab and mayo, they must not have used traditional Japanese mayo which is sweet. I have eaten here before when portions were better, I could have gotten better tasting and better priced sushi at a walmart or hyvee, which is sad.

The fact that Litchfield now has sushi blows my mind...in a good way. Sakura looks a little shady from the outside: strip mall, no visuals into the building, no knowledge of the beyond. But once you get over the questionable "what's in there?" and go inside, you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's one room but is feng-shuied to look really, really nice. The booths and tables are sleek, there are multi colored drop lights in the center of the room, and the bar at the back has stools so you can sit, watch the chefs prepare your sushi or just wait for your to go order. The sushi is on par with what I've had in the city and the service is quick. Sushi rolls run from 9-12 bucks (or so) and they also offer bento boxes and the like. I've had their "Litchfield roll" and the "Dragon Roll". Never disappoints! Their miso soup is good too and their portions were very gracious.

I'd give this place 10 stars if I could. Great sushi in Litchfield. The dumplings were amazing too. Very nice inside and great prices.
