The workers there are always nice. They even accepted an expired coupon. This location also still has onion rings. The location in Westmont don't serve onion rings anymore. Chicken is always good. Wish Popeye's in general could adopt credit card payment system like other fast food chains where you just swipe your card and not have to sign anything.

I go almost every day to Popeye's and buy a large Coke ($2.13) and today they gave me a diet Coke. When I called there and talked to the manager, she told me that because I didn't call immediately, they would not take it back or replace it. I have NEVER been treated so badly by a fast food place over something so inconsequential. Incidentally, I get sick after diet pop and vomit from it, so I cannot drink it at all. Needless to say, I will NEVER give them my business again even though they are located only a block from my home. I rather go a mile down the road and give my money to a business that appreciates my patronage.

This place is horrible anytime there is a special advertised they this franchise claims they don't have it... They also never answer their phone,... My reason for calling is so I don't waste my time going there only to be told they don't have the special... Also,.. I am not racist however most of the staff is Mexican and after my order is placed their employees complain in in Spanish as I speak fluently... I'm disgusted with this Popeye's and rather buy my chicken from Jewel! Only a 1 rating as I'm not gives the option for a Big Zero!

Chicken I purchased was reheated. Was here several days ago in the late afternoon and ordered 20 pieces of chicken to go for dinner. Got home and realized this was left over chicken from their lunch hour that was reheated again in their oil to keep it warm. Color of chicken indicated it was re-fried and all 20 pieces of chicken were really dried up, This was a total waste of money and my family who was looking forward to eating Popeyes chicken for dinner found it totally undesirable. Can one request freshly fried chicken at a Popeyes?

Food was OK, maybe better and cheaper than KFC. Not the fastest service. But the real irritating factor was that not one table or chair was clean at this location.

This isn't really a dig at this location as much as popeyes in general as I imagine they were just following company policy. I went and got some ripn chicken, not cheap like $6.50 for a pretty small amount of food and they give you these dinky diping sauces. I ask for a spicy mustard and the lady looks at me crazy. I ask again can I please have a mustard and she says she gave me ranch. I ask can I have a mustard and she says I have to give her back the ranch. When I say can I please just have a mustard she says .25 cents. Popeyes, your food isn't cheap and you dont give enough sauce and your really going to nickel and dime your customers over 1 additional sauce. I won't be back to this location or any popeeys for that matter.

Not too bad if you wanted a cheap tasty chicken meal for a cheaper price ( cheaper that KFC). Every week Popeye's sent out a coupon on the mail with discount prices hard to missed. No coupon? But still want a cheaper chicken meal...try going there on a Tuesday, they offered 2 pieces of chicken, 1 small side order and a biscuit for a whooping price of $2.99. Beat that!!!

This location needs to ditch the "Louisiana FAST" slogan because they had the SLOOOOWEST drive-thru service on Friday night that I may have ever seen. The girl taking the order didn't give me my total while I was at the speaker (something I hate), then I sat there for nearly ten minutes as three cars ahead of me crept along in a funeral-parade-speed crawl up to the window. Were they slaughtering the chickens to order? Was one person working the window and the inside counter too? I don't know, but this was way too inefficient for "fast" food. Usually I love Popeyes chicken (though I haven't had it in over two years?!); I got the tender strips, which were rather soggy, perhaps from SITTING AND WAITING?! Nothing beats their biscuits, but again, these weren't at optimum because they weren't hot from the oven (nothing beats a fresh batch). If you go to this location, you might be better served by eating inside. They're clearly not rushing to get the to-go orders out the door.

4 1/2 stars. I have been a BIG fan of Popeye's over the years. While their chicken isn't chilehead spicy, it does have very solid flavor. The meat is always juicy and fresh every visit. This staff is also attentive and polite (at least in my experiences). I've never tried the sandwiches or tenders but I'll bet they're just as good as the chicken itself. My biggest challenge is what sides do I want- red beans & rice, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, or dirty rice. If the sides were any bigger, they could be the meal itself (especially the red beans & rice). It won't pass for true Bijou cooking but it does get the job done (ESPECIALLY for a fast food chain). The biscuits are also tremendous. Consider getting yourself a bottle of hot habanero sauce for that added punch.

I haven't been to Popeyes in a couple years but after seeing all their commercials about having more cajun food, I really wanted to try it but I'm lazy and I didn't but then I saw the commercial for the buttery garlic shrimp and I was over there so fast. I work a half a block away and I'm screwed for when I'm too lazy to pack my lunch. It's cheap, delicious and pretty quick. I didn't expect them to be as fast as other fast food places but that's ok. They're better quality then a lot of fast food places.

You know what you're going to get here, so I won't wax poetic on Popeye's chicken. I think the other reviewers have painted more vibrant pictures of it than I ever could in the first place. I did, however, wanted to add that I gave this Popeye's the ultimate test: I drove through at 3:00 pm on a weekday. The food was hot and fresh, and the service was good; I was very surprised and my tummy was very happy.

Popeyes biscuits are amazing...but the people that work at this one can't ever seem to get my order right. They didn't even have BBQ sauce today...They also forgot my biscuit, which is the best part of the meal. I can't understand how its so difficult to bag an order of food, I'm not going to review Popeyes like its a 5 start restaurant, but I do expect to get what I ordered in my bag.
