Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

They deliver, that's a big plus. But what they deliver isn't worth opening the door for. Ok, it wasn't that bad, but if I hadn't gotten $10 off my order thanks to a spiffy app on my phone, I probably would've been a little annoyed. Neither of us got sick from it, but I really kinda had to work at taking a second bite from the egg rolls. And I think they mistakenly sent onion rangoons instead of the crab ones we ordered (they're the triangle type). The sweet & sour chicken was ok, but tasted more like hush puppies. My husband's General Tso's was ok, but that chicken was really fatty. The steamed rice was undercooked and hard. The fortune cookies were even too thick. If I hadn't been so hungry and tired, I doubt I would've made it through the meal.

Horrific. Bad. The worst Mongolian beef and horrible egg rolls. Very dirty inside unsanitary conditions. I guarantee they would be shut down by health inspectors. Stay away!

Horrible food. I swear the dish I had reminded me of fried canned dog food. I will never order from there again. My whole house was disaponted and instantly sick.

This place is not good. We ordered take out and the pork in the Pork Lo-Mein looked like dog food. I've never had dog food, but I imagine that's what it would taste like too. Everything was so greasy and unseasoned. It's right next to a bar, so I imagine they get a lot of business from there, because that's the only way I could stand this place, if I was wasted and didn't know any better.

We have ordered our fair share of Chinese food. Never once have we not finished what we've ordered, at least the next day or two with leftovers. We couldn't even choke down this terrible excuse for food. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and orange beef, they were both cold upon arrival and flavorless. Bland, chewy meat. Eggrolls were over-salted and the pot stickers were soaked in some liquid. They couldn't even compensate with cold Pepsi. I think we'll go elsewhere next time.

Good food, good portion sizes. I'm a vegetarian and the chef noticed that we ordered a lot of vegetarian entrees so he threw in some meat free appetizers for us.

worst experience ever! I went there to pick up ordered food .. the place is dirty, the personnel is dirty, the girl who sells the food is utterly rude... if you want to spare your nerves just don't go!

Hadn't been to this place in close to 15 years maybe more? It's nice that the menu hasn't changed much over the years. The waitress had said that it is the son of the original owners who runs the place now. The place is very run down and plain. Did not have that classic Chinese restaurant feel to it anymore. Our steamed rice still came in the traditional metal orb-like dish with a lid. They also kept replenishing the rice! You never see that anymore! The food was good even though everything came with the same dark brown sauce. We had the beef chow mein cantonese, hong sui chicken, pork egg foo young and shrimp with lobster sauce. Surprisingly all the dishes came with plenty of meat and shrimp. They certainly didn't skimp. I would've liked more veggies. The veggies in the chicken dish were kind of undercooked. Egg foo young overcooked and took awhile to get to table. The price was good and we had enough leftovers for the next couple of days. We also had ordered mango slushes that were a great price at 2 for $5. We were expecting them to have the tapioca pearls, but the waitress said that they needed to make a fresh batch which would've taken a while. At first they were watered-down and bland. The waitress was gracious enough to take them back and gave us 2 newly made drinks which tasted much better. I live in California now where Chinese food is totally different. So it was nice to come home to some classic Chicago-style Chinese food! This place remains an old favorite with our family.

Gah, got lunch from here yesterday and this place missed the mark so hard I'm not even sure what went wrong. Lucky Wok is the current champion in the Lisle Chinese scene, but they're closed Mondays, which lead us to the King Choy Pepsi Challengeâ„¢. Everyone immediately was tipped off by the overall weirdness of the food. A roommate got General Tso's Chicken which had the look, taste, and overall consistency of those nasty Lean Cuisine frozen Chinese dinners. It was really sort of incredible just how accurately they managed to replicate the sogginess of the breading, the runny-ness of the sauce, and the overcooked vegetables. I ordered wonton soup which bordered on inedible, our egg rolls were overdone, and the fried rice in our lunch specials barely seemed to have whatever the microscopic level of soy sauce is actually required to make the rice vaguely turn brown. Overall, a total disappointment that cost us $30. I definitely won't be back. ...Unless it's Monday and Lucky Wok is closed and I'm really craving Chinese food regardless of how terrible it is. Who knows, maybe they're just having an off day. I can't believe this is even the same place, looking at my last review for it.
