Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

There's not once I've came to this chipotle where there would be more than 1 employe helping assist serving customers. Also their food is always running low and I never get to be satisfied with my burrito bowl. Just a really bad chipotle I recommend the one on touhy in Lincolnwood.

As good as any other Chipotle

I'm banning this place...we gave it a decent try.

I was SO excited this Chipotle was built here because the closest one after this is about 10 minutes West on Touhy. The staff there were extremely friendly and upbeat! I was in line behind only one other person, and literally everyone preparing my burrito bowl said, "I'll be right with you ma'am" if I had to wait more than 5 seconds. I have never witnessed such great service at any other Chipotle. I will definitely go back there!

The Manager Lilly is a rude a fuck! WhenI was there she was yelling at all her emplyess who were really dong nothing wrong at all, and when I pointed this out she said "Thanks" in a smart as voice and then walked away from me to the back of the kitchen. She made my taco without any care at all, just throwing ingridiants on, it looked like a big ol mess. Chipotle is one of my favorite places to eat but untill Lilly learns to show respect for both her employees and customers and not act like an Irragant cow I wont be going back. She sucks, get rid of her or teach her how to do her job becacuse she sure dont know how!

This Chipotle opened up sometime last year if I remember correctly. I've been absolutely thrilled with the service. I even got comped a meal there because I was a regular. Friendly staff and great management!

They have really improved. I'm so happy. Seriously. I take my chipotle experiences VERY seriously. 1) obviously because I'm fat, and 2) because it's my absolute favorite restaurant in the whole world. The staff is great, the food is fresh, and the line moves fast! Several years ago when I left my first review, this location needed a lot of work. They're amazing now. Keep it up! Woo!

It's the first time that we go to this location and I don't think we're coming back. The girl who was taking our order was having a side conversation as we tried to order and then would have us repeat ourselves more than once. Both the girl taking our order and the cashier didn't even make eye contact with us and I felt like we were talking to robots. I asked for lettuce on my tacos which apparently just means a couple pieces of lettuce on ONE taco. The floors were littered with trash and food. It was not busy so I can't believe that they just didn't have time to clean up. The food itself was fine, but the service was terrible.

The most light handed Chipotle I've been to. It's like they were measuring my meat and sour cream by the gram. Even if I got the appropriate amount of food, it makes it seem like management is telling them not to hook it up. This is my local Chipotle, and I'd rather drive elsewhere. Stingy Chipotle = stay away

This is the 3rd Chipotle in our area, this one being behind Olive Garden and next to the Vitamin Shoppe in the mall area at Lincolnwood. Parking was convenient and service thru the line was efficient. I couldn't make up my mind what kind of protein I wanted on my salad bowl, so the guy offered my choice of two; something no one had ever suggested before, in all my years going to various Chipotle locations. (The steak, which I usually get, was a bit tough and chewy today. The carnitas, on the other hand, were tender.) This location seems smaller than the others, but it was clean and very well maintained. Besides the steak, the other aspects of our food was good as usual; really no complaints. Always good guac and chips. We'll be back.

This location is the worst. The staff clearly does not care about making your food correctly, even after you explain it to them several times. Avoid burritos at all costs because they are never rolled right. They fall apart immediately after tearing back the aluminum. I could deal with the subpar food if the service was welcoming and efficient but the employees barely speak or make eye contact and items are usually in need of refilling. Smiling is definitely not in their job description. Bottom line: go to another location if you care about your meal and your service.

I feel kind of stupid review a Chipotle, because the food is standard at pretty much all locations, but this is more about the online ordering. I work nearby, so my coworkers and I order on a somewhat regular basis. Alfredo is the daytime online ordering manager & he is fantastic at his job. He remembers who typically orders together & will call to see if we'd like to pick up orders together to save us unnecessary trips, and will even prepare food sooner/later to consolidate orders. It might not seem like a big deal, but it really is great. That guy needs a raise!

You pretty much know what you are getting at any chain like Chipotle. I've never been disappointed with anything served here. The staff here is very friendly and helpful.. I feel like they make a big effort to get you through the line that can frequently extend to the door. The barbacoa burrito is my favorite. I ask for no beans and all rice for a less-watery experience. Also, the chips and salsa are a must.

I have definitely experienced better. Maybe it was an off day, but on a Saturday afternoon, between lunch and dinner, we didn't expect them to be so overwhelmed. There wasn't a line when we came in, but when we started to order, they were out of fajita peppers, so we waited 6 minutes for some fresh ones. They gave us free drinks while we waited. Awesome! So we jump back in line and continue to order, and I complete my burrito bowl, but my girlfriend has to wait another 5 minutes because they ran out of chicken and she settled for a few black beans that were left. Then we sit down to eat, but there are no forks or napkins at the condiment bar. So we ask the person working the register. She tries to restock the bar, but there are no forks in their storage cabinets. So she runs to the back and a few minutes later pulls out a big box. And then a few minutes later hands us some forks. Granted, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, but it took us almost 20 minutes of waiting after we started our order until we could finally eat. Made me wish I went to the Rogers Park location on Sheridan. My food was cold by the time we ate, but I didn't want to deal with ordering again. I have worked in service before, and I appreciate how nice they were, but whoever was in charge of that shift definitely did not set up their staff for success. That makes for an experience I'd rather not risk recreating.

Chains are a bore to review. This is like any other Chipotle in the world except for the entrance to it. Here it goes...a review of the Lincolnshire entrance to Chipotle and other stores located in its strip mall. For some unknown reason the builders/mall/city/townsfolk/permits/ or all of the above thought designing the entrance to resemble a driver's safety obstacle course was a good thing. It wasn't, especially in the winter. The design cause more accidents than drunk driving...all for a burrito or bowl or tacos. As for Chipotle, they serve alcohol which is cool because the stress to get here deserves a drink.

Really bad service, some girl with reddish brownish hair to what may have seemed to be the manager, VERY FUCKING Nasty, touched her nose piercing with no glove and touched my food right after, really greasy hair, if you are a manager look presentable, no forks, knives in the dining area, soda spillage out and on top of that, there were ants in that area as well as on the floor in pieces of meat! I was disgusted and I am never going back there!!!
(1)Milian B.
Convenient location, easy parking, healthy fast food; food is consistent and yummy. I really appreciate a fast food option that uses ethically-sourced proteins and is devoted to the quality and freshness of ingredients. Minus a star for staff being kind of off, like they stare at me when I, very politely, ask for cilantro. This is Mexican food after all, it's not like I'm asking for a side of AstroTurf with my taco salad bowl. They have cilantro available and ready to go, so does the line person and the people in the back (it's always the girls, never the guys) have to turn around and look at me, like it's time for a gaper's block? Polish up your service, please. Aside from that, fast food does not have to mean unhealthy food choices! Thank you for that, Chipotle!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I had a gut feeling about not going to this chipotle since I've had friends say horrible things, and they were right. I came in at 9pm, they barely had ANY new fresh food prepped, I got a steak bowl and the steak tasted AWFUL. The guy in front of me who had steak as well threw out his burrito halfway through. I went to see if there was a manager, and of course everyone is in the back prepping all the food. Never coming here again. The floors were sticky as well, I couldn't even throw out my stuff in the garbage because there wasn't any available... Just a horrible location.

The only reason I come to this location is because it is across the street from my gym. The service is slow and the employees aren't very nice. The afternoon staff is fast but they give very small portions. The night staff is slow and give okay potions but you have to wait 10+ mins to wait for what you want to be cooked. Inconsistent service and food.
(2)Laura T.
I like chipotle but this location. Completely hate it! The staff is rude, they don't have much food prepped so you'll get stuck there waiting in line for 30 min. Just to have the meat ready! Top it off the cook either burns it or doesn't cook it well at all. If I could rate this zero stars I would. Don't even bother going there.
(1)Louis T.
Counter girl saved it from getting one star tonight. Honestly, I don't know why I keep coming back to this place. It's only 730pm, why don't you have fajita onion and peppers prepped and ready for customers? Had to wait and extra "10 minutes" for them to cook some dammed fajita onions and peppers. Counter girl was dmart enough to give me a free drink while I was waiting. ..sour faced counter lady was still there that goofed sour cream on my previous order was still there. 7 customers later I finally get.my order correct..

Tucked behind an Olive Garden parking lot, in the Northeast corner of a low rent mall, in a village that didn't want to OK the expansion of a store serving mainly First Responders because the Trustee's were "afraid of the image this would present" but is OK with mall stores like "As Seen On TV Hut" "Lids" and "Piercing Pagoda" sits the smallest Chipotle Mexican Grill I've seen. The store location is almost like an afterthought to The Vitamin Shoppe not needing the extra space. If you have spent any time at the Lincolnwood Town Center, you will know most of the drivers there got their drivers licenses out of Cracker Jack boxes, the parking lot for the Chipotle is extremely small, if you think I'm kidding, take a look at it on Google Maps. Chalk it up to that its either still in growing pains mode, or the quality of the staff, but with two separate visits to this location, these were some of the worse visits to this chain I've experienced. If you're really craving Chipotle, do yourself a big favor and take your business to the location in Skokie, or down the road on Lincoln Avenue in Chicago, because its not worth losing paint off your car, or losing your patience dealing with the staff here.

I go to this Chipotle often, and the staff is always very polite and serve up great food. Last Sunday, however, they shocked me with their generosity and kindness. I came in with a couple of homeless guys that were begging at a nearby intersection to buy them some lunch. When I got to the end of the line to pay for the three of us, they would not take my money. They told me to 'pay it forward'. I was surprised to say the least. Then, while we were eating our lunches, they came by the table and gave the guys some coupons for a meal in the future. Talk about going above and beyond! Chipotle has great food, and if they keep hiring employees like these, then I'd say they're in the running for best restaurant ever! Kindness and generosity are so rare in the world today, and we all need to be more like this bunch. Rather than judging people or treating them with contempt, these people are looking for ways to be a blessing to others. You know, when your food has been prepared with love, it just tastes that much better. Thank you! Looking forward to my next visit.

I've passed by this place quite a few times on my way to work, and was so excited to see a Chipotle open this close. I came for the $2 boo-ritos on Halloween and while there was a pretty long line, it moved very smoothly. Service was friendly & fast. Food was your typical Chipotle. Glad that they offer brown rice for a semi-healthier option. Conveniently located near Lincolnwood Mall.

I've been to at least 20 different Chipotle locations so far, and my favorite is definitely this one at Lincolnwood Town Center. Honestly, I was thrilled when this location first opened because my best alternative was on Sheridan Road, which was always difficult to park near. The team at the LTC location is extremely friendly and always seems happy to see me. I've now become a regular -- visiting multiple times each week. Even when they have long lines, they always make a point of personally saying hello to me. You probably want feedback on everything. So, here you go: The food is always delicious! I'm not sure how you get the brown rice to taste so good, but I'm now completely over white rice. I don't think that I've ever had to wait for my order, so the food service is perfect for me. There is one thing I'm sort of shocked by: your customers are pigs (they get food all over their faces, tables and floor) but there always seems to be a clean table for me. By the way, I'm one of those rare customers who also leaves my table as clean as I found it. You can thank my mother for that. In any case, I'm rambling. Customer service: awesome. Food: awesome. Place: awesome. Chipotle is one of my favorite chains, and this location always makes me feel special. Thank you guys for all of your hard work. I honestly appreciate it! Just wish I could always fill that tip jar when I come in, but I'm only one guy with one wallet.

Chipotle is my favorite restaurant Lincolnwood is absolutely awful I was there last Friday around 2 o'clock the place was a mess the women's bathroom sink was not working so I would assume all the female workers couldn't wash their hands they were arguing in front of customers who gets to go on break literally walking away while making your food not even saying excuse me or I'll be right back or just a minute and you're standing there like what the hell just happened not to mention everything was a mess you can see there's dishes piled up in the back food all over the floor and salsas mixed in with cheese corn mixed in with sour cream the chicken was burnt their guacamole was completely brown I literally walked out of there and left in the middle why they were making my burrito bowl I felt so grossed out and their dress code is ridiculous pull up your pants not professional at all extremely disappointed
(1)Amanda C.
Pretty slow service and a little pricy, but the food is good. My huband and I came in and got a barbacoa bowl and 3 taco's de barbacoa and it cost us $16. I found it to be a bit expensive but hey, it was good, and when do you ever see barbacoa anywhere? I love it. I really like the bowl, it's refreshing and love that corn they put in it. I'll go back if we happen to be around and dont wanna cook. Store was clean, just the employees were SLOOOOOOWWWWWWWW.
(3)Jon M.
The parking lot is horrendous on the weekends, because everyone wants to go to Red Lobster or Olive Garden. You think Chipotle would be smart enough to have signs up for private parking like their neighbors at the Vitamin Shoppe (even though it's only 2 spots). The place inside is not your typical huge Chipotle's. Hence, the parking lot for it is misleading. LoL. Anyway, the food is good for something fast and you're not in the mood to wait a little longer for waiter/waitress service. Music is pretty chill with your funky deep house beats. I like the set up in here. I'll definitely be back on a weekday when the only people in the area are mallrats and employees.
(4)Lukasz G.
Chipotle is one of my favorites. Its fastest, still relatively healthy lunch option. Ive been to this location multiple amount of times, dine in or to go. Great experience, no issues at all. Food could be done a little bit faster, since ive noticed that they go too low on meats before putting new batch on the grille. Music has to be turned down a bit as well, since it makes interactions with staff a little difficult sometimes. Otherwise, great place, friendly staff. Ill keep on coming back
