We used Catered Productions for a pig-roast and wedding shower in our back yard. "Katie" set everything up for us and took care of all the details. "Victor," a very pleasant employee, came right on time with a canopy, a huge cooler, a big pot of delicious coffee and all of our food.He finished roasting on site and put everything out for us on long tables. He also cleaned everything up after the party. Everything we ordered was noted on the menu form and checked off by our cook/server. Our guests complimented Victor on the great job he did at the house. Catered Productions helped make the shower extra special. We highly recommend them.

We used Catered Productions for our wedding this month. From start to finish, their service was impeccable. They guided us through their many menu options, were really flexible when we selected food stations and wanted to swap out some of the food items, and were very accommodating to our special dietary requests (gluten-free and vegetarian). On the day of the event, their staff was so fun and friendly. They made set up look like a breeze and handled everything during the event perfectly. Our guests raved about the food, the waitstaff and the bartenders. Thanks, Catered Productions!

I've used Catered Productions 3 more times since my original review. They have continued to provide tasty food at a good price, with terrific customer service. I've ordered their continental breakfast again, which was reliably good. For one luncheon I ordered the Chicken Picatta and teriyaki beef with rice, veggies, and assorted extras. For another lunch I had the pulled pork and Italian beef with assorted sides and extras. Each time they were on time, professional, well priced, with good food and no hassles. I have another lunch even coming up and you can bet I'll use Catered Productions again.

I disagree with Christina K. I was married in August of 2008 and Catered Productions did all of my food for an outdoor wedding of 160. The staff was great, Michael was awesome and Reyeh was very helpful. My husband and I are thinking of using them for our daughter's first birthday party.

Catered Productions hands down saved my wedding!! From the very first phone call, they were detailed, fair and just all-together a great vendor to work with. Reyeh guided me through the ins and outs of putting together a fantastic event and often took panicked phone calls after hours and I even caught her working on the weekends! They catered both my brother's wedding and a family friend's and I would recommend them to anyone. First let's begin with the staff. The set-up crew arrived bright and early (when I say early, I mean it! They were 15 minutes early to our scheduled time, even arriving before I did!) They were super helpful with a last minute table arrangement switch and were more than happy to accommodate and stay until every set-up detail was finalized. The tables and chairs were beautiful (we had the 8-foot banquet tables and white padded folding chairs) and I am more than thrilled with how they looked in our pictures (go for the upgrade in chairs, it's WORTH IT!) The event staff arrived promptly and swung into action. The bartender was ready to go and the appetizers arrived deliciously fresh. Everyone was at the starting gate for the cocktail hour (on the roof of a Chicago loft building) when Mother Nature decided to dump an unexpected hell storm on me and my beautiful rooftop wedding. Catered Productions immediately took the bull by the horns and literally packed up all of their stuff and re-set on a different floor. Their flexibility was amazing and it was a true comfort to have them seamlessly create a new and improved cocktail hour on a different level. While some of the staff was aiding in passing out the appetizers, those that weren't ran shifts out to the roof to grab the 110 chairs, DRY THEM OFF, and re-set them on yet another floor (in the reception hall, where we ended up having the ceremony). The staff were friendly, kind and had a great sense of humor and their support truly saved the day. If the service wasn't enough to love, the food was beyond delicious. I am still receiving emails from family members about the chicken masala! We had a customized buffet which included the spring mix salad, potatoes, asparagus, chicken marsala and chef carved top sirloin of beef. I cannot pick a favorite! At the end of the event, the staff assisted in not only cleaning up, but helping take down some of OUR decorations. I cannot say enough great things about Catered Productions. They fit our tight budget (my husband and I were paying for the wedding ourselves) and I would not blink an eye to use them for any other event, ever. My wedding would have been a disaster without them.

I booked Catered Productions for my small (50 people) outdoor wedding. I had the Italian beef sandwiches, grilled chicken breast, roasted red potatoes, vegetable medley, spring salad with candied walnuts, fruit kabobs, cheese tray, & assorted dessert bars. Everything was fantastic! I got endless compliments on how good the food was. We had a server. He was on time and was a pleasure to work with. The staff was very accommodating as I tweaked a few things to my liking. Reyeh my coordinator was very helpful. I felt since I had such a small event a lot of caterers seemed like they didn't want to waste their time. Catered Productions made me feel like my business mattered. Thank you Catered Productions you are now my go to caterer!!!

It's time for that same employee company event, and WOW. Catered Productions did a complete 180, starting with signage that clearly stated it was Catered Productions. A "tent" was even supplied for face painting with the Catered Productions logo. Everything was clean, clean, CLEAN!!! There was more than enough polite and helpful staff to serve. There were plenty of condiments, and they were easy to access, also clean and fresh. FOOD- I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS WAS THE SAME PLACE AS LAST YEAR. YUM, YUM, YUM. The potato salad was magnificent, so good there was hardly any left 20 minutes after the serving line opened, had to be restocked three times while I was there. There was a cole slaw that should be patented!!! It was uniquely shredded, and had one of the most flavorful dressings I've ever tasted in the cole slaw world. The chicken was grilled to perfection. The burgers and hot dogs were darn good, as well, moist but grilled. Iced tea was plentiful. Gonnella hamburger and hot dog buns I am sure ensured fabulous taste (I can't eat gluten products any more). There were BEAUTIFUL cupcakes and brownies for which my family members vouched- several times. If the company for the event which I attended continues to have Catered Productions, and Catered Productions continues to simply do what they did today- I see no problems with next year's event! In fact, in past years, there was a beer truck. It was DIRELY needed last year. NOT SO THIS YEAR. THE FOOD SPOKE FOR ITSELF- AND IT SPOKE FLUENTLY. Thank you, Catered Productions!

This is my second experience of working with Catered Productions. However, this is my first experience of using them for a sit down dinner. The event was a fundraising gala for a non-profit charity. For those of you who don't want to read a long review, I will sum up my experience in 2 words...Absolutely AMAZING! From the beginning of our event planning with Michael and Reyeh until the execution of the event, things were wonderful. There was frequent and open communication. During the planning process, there were several changes to the proposal (requested by us) and many changes in the last few days leading up to the event, but Reyeh handled them like a champ! There were 4 of us who attended the tasting. Let's just say with 4 adults, there were many opinions. Michael handled all of this very well and tried to make suggestions to modify things to satisfy our diverse tastes. He obviously was successful because the night of the event we received many compliments on the food. Our event had over 260 attendees and yet when I received my food, it was hot and visually appealing. Of course, when I ate my dinner, it was delicious! Catered Productions is competitively priced, a pleasure to work with, sincerely interested in making your event a success, and has delicious food that is attractive in its presentation. I HIGHLY recommend them for any event!

At first, I loved CP. They have gluten free and vegetarian options for me which was very important. When my husband and I had our tasting, we loved it. I especially loved the GF option. We were set and excited! Leading up to the day, Reyeh was very helpful. She listened to all my concerns and really helped me out along the way. I thought we had found the best caterer in the world! Unfortunately, the day before and the day of were not so great. The day before, someone came to set up the room and showed up with about 10 extra table cloths that i didnt order and were not in my contract. He insisted that I used them even though I really did not want them. I insisted to take them back and he did. The day of, a few things went terribly wrong. The GF and veg food was to be plated and it was not. It was in the buffet with the other food leaving all of my guests very confused. The GF food was nothing like we tasted. It was awful. I complained and the server agreed it didn't look right. A server with VERY long fake nails ended up putting both of her hand prints in my very beautiful GF wedding cake bc she couldnt move the cake with her long nails. Our cake was ruined. This made me the most upset. This same server also made herself a part of our ceremony. She followed me down the aisle and fixed my dress WITHOUT me even asking her to! That was a family members job but she is now in all my wedding videos! It was so weird! When my husband voices his concerns about the breaking of the contract and ruining of our cake, they first offered us a 100$ gift card to their catering service. We did NOT accept that seeing as though we will not use them again. Finally, they offered us a $200 credit. Nice, but when you pay around $3000-4000 ..$200 doesn't really do it justice. Great service leading up to the day, but i was highly disappointed the day of.

My mom used Catered Productions for my bridal shower this past weekend. She ordered the build your own sandwich tray and that came with 3 side salads and fresh fruit. The sandwich tray consisted of tuna salad, ham, roast beef, turkey and a variety of cheeses. There was a variety of breads, rolls and the ever sinful croissant! The side salads: cheese tortellini pasta salad, a southwest pasta salad and an Asian cabbage salad with chicken & silvered almonds. My least favorite was the southwest pasta salad, it was kind of flavorless. All of the salads and trays had flowers on top for added effect. The menu served 30 people and there was plenty of leftovers! If you're in the northern suburbs, give Catered Productions a try for your next party. You will not be disappointed!

6/18/12..Just had Catered Products for a graduation party and it was wonderful. It was the easiest catering event ever. The food was delicious and extremely generous, all came in elegant chafing dishes and arrived right on time, the staff was great to deal with. I would definitely recommend a server, Judy was great getting everything set up, keeping it warm and cleaning up. We had the Mexican buffet and the baked potato bar it was a hit with the adults and kids. Definitely would recommend this group.
