This place has gone downhill. You would think being named International house of pancakes that their pancakes would be good but they are not. The pancakes are hard and rather tasteless. They should be light and fluffy. The eggs were okay. The waffles had burnt sports. Also the chicken strips were cold and old. The service is okay. Will not be going back.

The service the past couple of times, including today was not so good. It sucks because it is normally pretty good. It's gets 3 stars because the food was hot and pretty good. I know it was a Saturday afternoon bug you would think a place like this would have this down by now. Be ready for a wait of you want to go. Sometimes it's worth it because of the quality of the food.

The food here is really good if I must say myself, the pancakes are very good however I do notice that they do not like to offer a proper amount of food every time or at least most of the time (E.G: I may get 1 strip of bacon or I may get 2) situations like that are common here but the food is still good, the staff does work hard but regardless of a slow day or an intense rush the wait staff seem to forget the people they are serving fairly quick this is something that's very irritating when waiting for the bill and you don't see you waiter for 20 minutes, overall the place is ok if your just trying to get some breakfast with the family

What you first need to know is DON'T GO HERE PLEASE!! I wish I could of given the rating of 1/2 a star but that's not an option. So, I stumbled upon this IHOP after being disappointed that the one that was by the Wal-Mart had closed. I googled to see if there was another nearby to find that I guess it had moved to this location so I was excited when getting there. Little did I know.... ugh. I came in and was seated and this was on a cold, winter's day. I immediately felt cold air coming from the vent directly above me. I asked my waiter if they could turn the air off and change it to heat. He proceeded to tell me "you can sit somewhere else" to which I was appalled and told him I had gotten settled sitting there and had recently had knee surgery so I wasn't moving and for them to fix the problem. I had to talk to a manager to get the issue rectified. I then ordered my food which was a house salad and a Denver Omelette. Simple enough, right? WRONG! The salad had several wilted pieces of lettuce which is unacceptable and the Omelette pictured below was just plain disgusting! Who puts a cheese sauce inside of an omelette tasting like swiss cheese that oozes out when you cut into it? I couldn't even eat it. They asked if I wanted them to make another one and I just told them I wanted the check so I could go. The manager was made aware of my displeasure and apologized. For my experience, you would think that I wouldn't had to pay anything and the bill was taken care of. They comped the salad and that was it. I will NEVER patronize this establishment again and I advise you don't even try it for yourself. The reviews given for this place speak for themselves. BTW, I love IHOP's pancakes and have been to other IHOP chains and have had no problems with food or service.

It's IHOP so the food is cheap, decent, and the service will change depending on who is working that day, however, ALYSSA was the most polite server I have encountered in a long time. I work on Wacker Drive in Chicago and frequent high end restaurants, and she could easily be running circles around those people! I hope she is tipped accordingly!

Much better this time around. It might be because its around 530pm but i will give credit where it is due. They were as friendly as they were last time. But their food time has improved. My food arrived at my table at an appropriate time. I was immediately greeted and seated upon entry. The food met all of my expectations of ihop. I will return when in the area again.

The family and I love this place. It's not too far from home, so we stop by and grub out on plenty of buttery pancakes!! Also that Old-fashion syrup is to die for!!!

Came here twice within the same month because of the convenience of location. The first time the service of was very slow and the food was average. The waiter was also very dry. Didn't seem much of interested to be there. However, I visited this same location a few days ago and my waiter Myriah or something like that. Very sweet girl, very attentive. Our food came out faster than last time! I guess the restaurant all depends on what day you go and who is your waiter!

Waited 1 hour for table on this past Sunday. It would have went a lot quicker if they actually stuck to the "list" definitely not worth an hour wait for the food it was okay not great...can't really mess up breakfast. Was just annoyed that one of the five hostesses originally said 30mins or less for a table...maybe if they weren't in Halloween costumes still? I don't know won't be coming back here again it was loud and we felt rushed after that long of a wait it was definitely annoying

This was one of the worst meals I have ever had. The cook could not even fix soft scramble eggs. When I ordered soft scrambled eggs what I ended up with was hard cooked scrambled eggs with liquid eggs poured around it. And beware of the advertisement about blueberry waffles on tv doesn't tell you that all you get is a half of a waffle. I'm gonna try to upload a pic of these eggs

I had always been a huge fan of IHOP, however, this IHOP puts shame to them all. The service is horrible! Twice I went to be seated and saw plenty of seats, however, when asked about why no one was being seated, I was told the cooks were behind! The second time, no seating because the wait staff was short. When I contacted the company by email, they said they would investigate and contact me, that was over 5 months ago. The management at this Lansing location is really bad and apparently the company is not concerned.
