The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend the smothered tenderloin.

Best service and good ever

Great bar with around 15-20 beers on tap. The staff is very friendly. Good place for groups but it is busy so it is a good idea to make reservations. I am a repeat customer so I have had most of the food on the menu and it is all excellent. You get excellent portions and the food is cooked exactly how you order it. I highly recommend eating here.

Great food! First time there. Spicy bbq wings were awesome! Burger was also really good. Can't wait to go back.

Food was decent, service was very slow. We made a reservation but was hurried by the staff with the bill to leave before we could get dessert. Piss poor customer service.

So first off "the bar," as in the wooden part where you belly up to, is spectacular. There's some cool history to Cerno's which alone probably warrants at least 3 stars. I'd agree with the other reviews that mentioned minimal seating -- lots of bar stools but maybe 8-10 tables max. Get there early if you're with a group. The menu's huge particularly for a bar, but we played it safe and went with the Sourdough Burger and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly and the sourdough was crisp and buttery. The fries, unfortunately didn't belong on the plate. Clearly they were of the frozen variety and were awful. Our bartender's name was Jessi, and I think she was having a bad night. Not overly friendly. Overall, it's definitely worth stopping in.

Very nice bar. Lots of TVs and a nice selection of beer. The food was very good, we had the Cerno burger, and couldn't finish it.

Great place to eat! Not a lot of seating, but the food is fantastic. Very good variety on the menu. I had the sourdough burger and it was the best burger I can ever remember having. We also had the nachos and could have made a meal out of them alone! Great atmosphere and friendly staff.

Cernos is the most consistently satisfying restaurant in Kewanee. Yes, it is a bar but don't let that discourage you. The atmosphere is inviting and the wood trim, booths and back bar are classic and make for a comfortable setting. They feature daily specials (e. g. Wednesday is fried chicken night) and the locals are tuned-in and show up for their favorites. I have attempted to go there on nights when there wasn't even a single stool at the bar unoccupied. This place far outshines the other limited and sketchy options in this often soulless town.

The food at Cerno's is really, really good. The prices are very reasonable. The beer selection is extensive. Not a whole lot of seating, but they do carry out. My wife and I love to go there on Thursday nights because it is taco night and you really get your fill for under 10 bucks! If this place was in Peoria or the Quad Cities the owners would have to open 3 more restaurants just to accomidate the demand!
