Fasano's... my guilty pleasure when I'm in Chicago. I was STARVING so I picked up the phone and called Fasano's; ordered a large, half cheese, half cheese, pepperoni, and mushroom pizza... and the countdown was on! It was the day after New Years and was told it would take about an hour, and even though that's a long time, it's definitely worth the wait! To my surprise, my pizza arrived in about 40 minutes, and was still hot, even though it was FREEZING outside (thanks Fasano's driver!!!) And then when my boyfriend got back home, I got the "best girlfriend in the world" award for ordering the BEST pizza in town. Oh Fasano's, how I miss your crunchy-crusted pizza, loaded with ooey gooey melty cheese, and mouthwatering toppings!

Really good pizza! But i was a bit disappointed when it looked like they didn't use fresh mushrooms they seemed canned or something but besides that the pizza was amazing. What can i say i love my mushrooms.

This was my first time trying this pizza. I have to say it was good but it was really dry barely any sauce. I think they could put more sauce. I ordered a large cheese pizza. I also ordered zucchini sticks which were tasty. I ordered Eli's turtle cheesecake which was delish. They do not deliver to my house so had to go and pick it up. They only have carryout and delivery.

The workers are really nice as well I enjoy calling my order and picking it up or gettin it delivered, If you decide to pick up your food, you should notice every1 on the back working together as a team. Some of the best pizza in the Chicago area. I know my pizza. When I say this place is real good, that means something. I like everything about their pies - sausage, cheese, and crust are top-notch. I wish they had a real sit-down restaurant. This place is already a gold mine, but if they made a real restaurant, it would really be something! Note: one time I had a problem with an order where the pizzas were extremely undercooked (I always order our pizzas as well-done but not burnt). The owner compensated me and I've never had a problem since.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The girls are always very polite and we also get stuff delivered, the drivers are also AWESOME!! Awesome food awesome EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! Keep up the great work!!!! The only thing I don't like (LOL) is that they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays! :-(

The best thin crust in the South suburbs. Excellent, cracker thin crispy crust. Plenty of greasy (but not overly so) mozzarella cheese. Loads of sausage that has plenty of fennel and garlic. This place does thin crust right. Easily outpaces Vito and Nicks in terms of flavor and quality in my opinion. The crust is not as good but the overall pie is incredible. Carry out only, reasonable prices, generous portions-- just a classic south side pizza joint.

Ordered from Fasano's for the first time. I've eaten their pizza in the past at friend's parties. I ordered a large cheese for my children. They enjoyed it, especially since it had a generous amount of cheese. I ordered a sausage and pepperoni medium, and it had a similar generous topping. Fasano's pizza is great tasting as well. The wings (1/2 buffalo, 1/2 mild) were an excellent compliment to the pizza and fries. A large fry is enough to feed at least 3 people. Great service...food was ready 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

I like their pizza plain I think the toppings are sorta overwhelming. Their steak sandwich is pretty good if you are hungry and like steak. Fries portion is huge shareable. Preperation times are on the long side so order ahead. Would expect to pay a little less but not overly expensive. Good food

After moving to justice from Chicago finding good pizza close was hard and after reading reviews on fasanos we decided to try. Food was ok but wasn't impressed and will never order from here again! I'd rather drive to the old hood for something worth the calories and the money. Giordano's, Palermo's, Vito and Nick's, Villa Rosa, and Vince's! Now those are REAL pizza places!

Take out/Delivery only. The best pizza in the area, fried chicken and fried shrimp are excellent, they have mastered fried food to go, it's not soggy at all. Favorite order is Chicken Parm dinner. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Gets very busy, order early!

First of all, I'm very sad that in all the years I've lived nearby, I've only just recently (past 8 months) experienced Fasano's. I was looking for new pizza joints to try out in the area, and after trying a few others, I stumbled across Fasano's. Easily the best tasting, cheesiest of the bunch. Staff is friendly on the phone and in person. My only gripe, and the reason why this is 1 star short of perfect, is my experience with their last delivery order (12/18/14). One of the pizzas from the order was jumbled all around. It seemed like the driver slammed on the brakes in his car, or dropped the pizza because it was a hot mess. Still edible, but come on! He didn't even notify me of the condition, so when I opened up the pizza, he had already left. Not cool. Other than that, great experiences.

The pizza is 5 star without a doubt. This is by far our family's favorite pizza bar none. I strongly recommend having the pizza delivered because parking there is horrible. In the end the pizza is the best ever but the parking stinks. If I were to recommend anything to them it would be parking first and that (some of) their foul mouthed employees find somewhere else to hang out. I'm not one to get offended if my kids hears some smoking 22 year old cursing but it just knocks them down a notch on the class scale; I wouldn't want that if it were my business. That being said, the pizza is more than worth it.

I finally get to yelp my favorite pizza ! Always excellent service always good the food right ! Italian beefs are monstrous in size and the spinach, mushroom, sausage pizza well done is amazing ! I will never order anywhere else as long as I'm still living by this pie joint.

Holy Italian Beef Sandwich Batman... I've had pizza from Fasano's before but I've never tried anything else. I'd heard from a few people to try some of their other food, namely the Italian beef sandwich. I gotta say, I wish I hadn't waited so long. That beef sandwich was bigger then my....well it was big. Fasano's is a smaller place, but the parking lot is always packed with people picking up food. You can't eat inside, but you can either phone in or walk in and place an order. The Italian beef is $6.10 which sound a little on the pricey side, but its honestly enough for 2 people. I got mine with mozzarella chesse and red sauce. And it's not just big, I'm sure anyone will tell you, size doesn't matter, but its good too. The beef was up there with Portillo's or Pop's, the red sauce is good, and you can't really go wrong with mozzarella. I'm really looking forward to trying some of their other stuff too. Handy tip, ask them if they can cut the Italian Beef in half for easier management/saving some for later.

There are tons of different great pizza options on the south side. There are places for deep dish and places for a crispy thin crust. I like to describe Fasano's as gooey, greasy and cheesy. It may not sound appetizing described in that manner but just wait till you try it! You will be craving it again the next day. I don't know what they put in the sauce, but I'm hooked! Also, if you want an appetizer I would pick the julienne salad. It's huge and since its a salad you feel a little bit better about yourself.

In my opinion, the best pizza in the entire world. The ingredients are always fresh and the cheese is always laid on in generous portions as is all of the ingredients. One thing I will definitely mention is their char broiled steak sandwich. Get it with cheese and you will need two people to hold each end of the sandwich and walk the opposite direction for about twenty feet to split it apart. My point is that it is cheesy and the steak is always fresh and piled high on the house made garlic bread. The pasta is some of my favorite in the world. Keep in mind that Fasano's is carry out only so it isn't the fanciest looking pasta you've seen. However, it is absolutely to die for. The tomato sauce is fresh and packed full of flavor. I personally love the veal parmigiana and the lasagna. They give you very generous portions of this too and will probably feed you for two days or it's perfect to split with someone. My girlfriend recently moved into the area with me and now she is constantly asking to order Fasano's. In fact, we just split a sausage pizza about a half an hour ago and despite being full, our mouths water at the thought of having more. I just wished they were open on Mondays and Tuesday's because I have been deeply saddened during those days when I'm having withdrawals. My parents have been ordering it since the 70's and I will surely pass this onto my kids. Haven't had Fasano's yet? I feel sorry for you. Go order some quality food now!!!

No more than two stars from me. Greasy, crust was hard Good amount of cheese though. Wasn't bad! Nothing but regular pizza, nothing special didn't deserve five stars. Sorry to loving this place people

Their pizza is delicious, but if you are getting it delivered, they take FOREVER! I waited almost two hours one time. An hour and a half is about the norm and I don't even live very far.. I also hate that they never offer coupons or any kind of deals. Despite these things, I keep going back though because I can't deny their pizza is awesome.

I have eaten Fasanos Pizza for years and consider it the best pizza around! Now that I've moved, we will still drive the extra 20 minutes to pick up our order and most of the time we'll also grab a few frozen premade pizzas, they are ready in 20 minutes and taste just as good! The quality doesn't stop at the pizzas, their kitchen has football size beef and steak sandwiches, try their pasta, chicken and rib dinners, I've had them all!

Growing up near here I have to admit Fasanos Pizza spoiled me. I lived in the city and even visited New York a few years back. Chicag style and even New York style pizza don't hold a candle to Fasanos. Perfect amount of cheese and just greasy enough to be delicious. Later on either cold or reheated it's still that good. Heck, they roll old skool w/ no computer systems but ask for name/number when you call. No caller ID (I don't think) or none of that nonsense. I am knocking 1 star off because I don't like the sausage they use. And yeah it can be a little expensive compared to other pizza places but in this case you do get what you pay for. They're always quick when doing pick up and usually quick on delivery too.

We ordered from here a few weeks ago. And after trying other pizzaria's, this one doesn't deserve our previously rated 5 stars. We are downgrading to 3 stars. We love the fact they offer thin crust, but the pizza is just too heavy and oily. If you are looking for a very hearty pizza on a thin crust - this is it! It is an overall good pizza, and they still have good service and fast delivery. There is no dine-in, only delivery or pick-up.

I grew up on Fasano's pizza and I even though I moved from the South suburbs, I still come back for the pizza. Great crust and excellent sauce. One word sums up Fasano's....awesome!

4.5 STARS! I will change my review to a full 5 STARS if you add fresh mushrooms and pineapple to your toppings list. How can you use canned mushrooms on such good pizza - COME ON!!!! That's NUTS! and pineapple - well that has become a staple pizza topping ever since we made Hawaii a state. But seriously - I was surprised how good their pizza is. I ordered my first pie a couple of days ago. They don't hold back - the pizza is swimming with toppings and cheese. Their sausage actaully tastes good - most pizza joints use the cheap $hit that tastes like crap (I guess $hit and Crap are from the same place). It really is a great thin crust pizza. and for real - as soon as I know you actually use fresh mushrooms and pineapple (feel free to use canned pineapple - I am not expecting you to chop one up from scratch) I will change my rating to a FULL FIVE STARS! PS - The pizza was still steaming when it was delivered - gotta love it when the delivery boy makes you wait because the pizza is too hot! GREAT JOB FASANO's - you made this pizza fan smile big!

I love Fasano's Pizza and always have. Not to mention their steak sandwich with cheese is pretty amazing too. Service is always great and food is always delicious. You do pay a little more but like all things in life, you get what you pay for..

For a great thin crust, with a good amount of cheese (yes, a little greasy) than this pizza will leave you craving for more. Although there have been a few comments on how pricey it is...all I can say is, they really load the toppings and that is rare in any pizza joynt. You get what you pay for. I recently tried their cheese ravioli and they were very, very good. More than I expected. Ricotta filling (fresh) not overcooked and the pasta tasted homemade. The red sauce was very tasty as well...not at all what I expected. I would recommend trying this on your next visit when you crave a little pasta!! Was really impressed!!

Fasano's is my place for Pizza. I love all styles of pizza, but none ever compare to Fasano's. First, everything from the sauce down to the mushrooms are very fresh and tasty. It is also very consistent. I have been going here for over 25 years, and everything is still the same. The pizza is always done the way you want and fresh when you order. But I love more than just Pizza from here. The Veal Parmesan sandwich, Chicken Parm Sandwich, meatball sandwich... I can't explain how good they are. The Pasta choices however are average. The Ravioli is the best choice. Or getting your pasta selection "baked" with a pound of cheese melted on top is a great upgrade. Only twice over the years have I had a problem with the food, and it was just a mix up with the wrong pizza being delivered, and it was immediately fixed. Overall, if I were to move away, this is the one place I would miss the most. I am bummed that they aren't open on Monday and Tuesday.

I'm a big fan of Fasano's pizza. We have been looking for a pizza place around us (Palos Hills) that would be consistent, and good for some time. We always ordered from Henry's (now Durbins) which is good, but its always so packed that it takes over an hour for delivery up the block, and its pretty pricey and not that great at times. My fiance went to high school with the guy who runs Fasanos (its a family buisness that I guess has been passed down to him). He said he had it a few times and it was good, so we decided to go for it. We always get the 2nd to largest pizza (Family Size? Large? ) with sausage, onion and green pepper. I ask for extra sauce usually. We have ordered on a Saturday night and its never taken any more then an hour to get to us. The pizza is typical for Chicagoland pizzeria pizza, but that's not a bad thing. The crust is thin and crispy, and done just right. The cheese is thicker then some other places around and never underdone, the toppings are generous. We've also had their hot wings. I was pleasantly surprised by them. They aren't saucy, instead they are more like a spicy batter fried. Different but really good, and pretty meaty. The only draw back, and this isn't just with Fasano's but with area pizza joints, price! Why is pizza so freakin expensive? Its just dough, cheese and veggies for the most part. Getting the 2nd to largest pizza (with would feed I'd say 5, we eat once for say dinner and the next day for lunch) and 10 Hot wings and after delivery and tip it costs about $30-$35. Kinda expensive Id say. I cant hold it against them though seeing its like this everywhere. I say if your in the area give Fasano's a try, you ll probably like it!

Pizzas taste great. Nice thin crispy crust, good layer of cheese melted on top of tasty toppings. Their sausage definitely tastes a lot better than some other pizza joints. Pepperoni was standard and also tried their veggie pizza-really loaded with toppings. They deliver also. I never eat salad, but when I saw freshly chopped romaine, cucumbers and giant juicy slices of tomato, I had to have some. I ate a whole plate! Fresh, delicious, fast food!

Excellent pizza and good layer of great cheese & sausage! I drive over 4 miles to get pizza here & worth the trip.

This is my current favorite place for pizza in the south suburbs. I recommend the thin crust. I like to get small pizzas from fasanos because like other pizza places that pile on the real cheese (like Phil's) I tend to throw out the middle slices of the pizza because they get too greasy. The bigger the pizza the more I throw out. I also like to order them well done! My favorite topping on their thin crust pizza is the roast beef. They pile it on and its perfect on the pizza. Plus it's the same price as the other toppings. I also like their pepperoni, sausage and green peppers. I usually like spinach and hot pepper on my pizza but I would not recommend getting those toppings from Fasanos. Their spinach is usually not very good. Make sure you check their hours because they are not open every day like most pizza places. Plus, I can never find any coupons for Fasanos, but their prices are still very good for what you get, so I'm not complaining. Thier parking lot is a little crowded sometimes, but that's because they have the best pizza around!

Been going to Fasanos for over 30 years. Excellent pizza. Thin and crispy.
(5)
Phil L.
Been eating this pizza for 15 years and it's still in my top 3. Ive had their thin, double dough and most toppings they offer and if i have one complaint it would be that the sausage pizza tends to be a little greasy but thats never stopped me from eating it lol Told my uncle in the area to try it and he orders once a week now. When you try new pizza places, this will be the pizza you compare it to as fasanos will be your new standard. Parking is bad but I just park in the gas station next door as its a lot easier to get in and out that way.

Absolute CRAP! The worst pizza I have EVER had...which surprises me, because I've had thier pizza in the past, and loved it. Even had it at our son's birthday party. But what we got tonight was WRETCHED!! Crust thin as paper, almost NO sauce, barely hot...and I picked it UP, so there was no drivetime really to account for lack of heat. I noticed they are selling frozen pizzas now...perhaps they got lazy, and pulled out one of those on me. At any rate, it sucked royally. And the cannoli was soggy. They lost a customer tonight.

Wow. I just had Fasano's for the first time tonight and had to Yelp about it. Why am I just hearing about this place now and I've been in HIckory Hills for three years!? This pizza is so good, not at all like the usual suburban so so fare. I dare to even say it is very similar to Phil's in Bridgeport, which is one of the most sacred of pizza places to anyone who grew up in that area. Thin crust, surprisingly crispy under an impressive layer of real mozzarella. My only teeny gripe, it was just a wee bit salty. And the parking lot was a hot mess, but overall, we'll be back for sure. I had plain cheese tonight as I'm not a meat eater but I cannot wait to try the spinach. Highly reccomend giving them a shot if you are looking for a local pizza joint.

A lot of people really like this pizza, and I guess it's a matter of taste. My friends and family really like it, but i'm not much of a fan. I like their thin crust but completely dislike the thick crust. They pile on the cheese!!
(3)
Steve O.
very good pizza. It will not be healthy for you because it has always been extra greasy but for a splurge definitely give it a try. Its your average south side pizza joint but only with way more grease.
(4)
Gina D.
The BEST Pizza! You can taste the top of the line mozzarella and all the fresh ingredients in all their food. Salads are refreshing and their Italian beef on garlic bread is one of the best I've ever had. I love the frozen pizza option, great for when I'm not in the chicagoland area! I can still enjoy my pizza :)
(5)
Matthew H.
I love this place! Their pizza is insanely good (there's something about their cheese), and the veal parm sandwich is monstrous! Somehow, one guy gave this place one star because of ONE BAD EXPERIENCE? After he says, "because I've had thier pizza in the past, and loved it." How is that a one star review? I wish I could give it ten stars to counteract that guy.
(5)
Jennifer G.
Their italian cold cut sandwich is worth the hour trip we make to get it. They also have incredible giardineira pizza. My husband has tried almost every sandwich on the menu and raves about every one!!!

Family owned and operated since at least 1985, this is one of the gems of the pizza kingdom. (At least in the South burbs). Thick crust, thin crust, stuffed or deep-dish, it doesn't matter, it's just excellent. And their other pasta and sandwiches are equally as good. They cover a large delivery area, and your order always arrives hot and on time, and the food doesn't look like the driver decided go drag racing before delivering to your door. ( I hate when the cheese is attached to the top of the cardboard box).

Whether its take out every nite or just a nite to eat out, fasanos is a sure bet. Always good, always on time, and always right. I think everything is a 20 min wait there for pick up. They just opened for lunch time, and i would definitly ask about catering.

Susan M.
Grew up eating this pizza and went back for one! They are just as good as when I was a kid! Now I got my kids hooked on it!!!! It is just the right amount of sauce, cheese, sausage and crust. Don't forget the greese! Lol Best thin crust I have ever had! They are pretty old school, no computers, ask for name and number when you call. You can only order out which is a bummer for me and it is pretty small. The parking lot is always an adventure especially when there are a lot of people around! Sometimes you have people parking behind you. Ha ha! I remember getting stuck in there a few times!!! Don't go there expecting anything healthy, but it is one of those places that you splurge and enjoy. I think I will be doing a little more on the workout today!!!!!

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.

Good food. Pricey , but delish! I had to write a longer review in order for this to post . So to sum to it up. Fasano's is worth the $

OMG! First time I have ordered from here and I am very pleased. I am a pizza expert and I have very surprised at how delicious my pizza was . thanks fellow yelpers for the recommendation.

Sorry to loving this place people
(2)Mallory F.
(4)Sabrina S.
(5)Kelly S.
(4)James W.
Food is excellent best baked moscolli and pizza! Pretty much everything there is awesome, can't go wrong best food in town/area
(5)Amelie and Dan B.
(3)Kath D.
I grew up on Fasano's pizza and I even though I moved from the South suburbs, I still come back for the pizza. Great crust and excellent sauce. One word sums up Fasano's....awesome!
(5)Marty G.
(4)Shawn S.
I love Fasano's Pizza and always have. Not to mention their steak sandwich with cheese is pretty amazing too. Service is always great and food is always delicious. You do pay a little more but like all things in life, you get what you pay for..
(5)Pizza L.

(4)Stephen H.
Excellent pizza and good layer of great cheese & sausage! I drive over 4 miles to get pizza here & worth the trip.
(5)Jeremy B.
(5)Linda A.
Been going to Fasanos for over 30 years. Excellent pizza. Thin and crispy.
(5)Phil L.
(5)Tony R.
(1)Kristen C.
(4)S B.
A lot of people really like this pizza, and I guess it's a matter of taste. My friends and family really like it, but i'm not much of a fan. I like their thin crust but completely dislike the thick crust. They pile on the cheese!!
(3)Steve O.
very good pizza. It will not be healthy for you because it has always been extra greasy but for a splurge definitely give it a try. Its your average south side pizza joint but only with way more grease.
(4)Gina D.
(5)Matthew H.
(5)Jennifer G.
Their italian cold cut sandwich is worth the hour trip we make to get it. They also have incredible giardineira pizza. My husband has tried almost every sandwich on the menu and raves about every one!!!
(5)Michelle H.
(5)Lisa A.
Whether its take out every nite or just a nite to eat out, fasanos is a sure bet. Always good, always on time, and always right. I think everything is a 20 min wait there for pick up. They just opened for lunch time, and i would definitly ask about catering.
(5)Susan M.
