Had the beef brisket plate with coleslaw and fries (additional sides like mac and cheese are available on the weekend only). I decided to mix the hot and mild sauce. Brisket was excellent - smoky (smoked for 17 hours), some burnt ends, quality meet. Coleslaw was a mix of mayo and vinegar and was delicious. Fries were typical fries, nothing special. The sauce was the best part of my meal- a delicate balance of heat, smoke, and a little sweet on the back end. I really enjoyed talking to the owner. Overall a wonderful experience. I will be back.

Great bbq. Owners are lovely. Don't be put off by the exterior. Great brisket and ribs.

Can be a little tricky to find as its in the strip mall next to J&J Fish across the street from Certified Grocers on Richards. Inside looks like it might have been a diner at one time, but without any bench seats or tables. I got some beef brisket and pulled pork to go. Loved the aroma and, which takes a little work to get to as the meat was tightly wrapped in plastic wrap under foil. Sauce choice is mild, hot, or mix, and its more on the thin/vinegary side so don't be expecting Sweet Baby Ray's. I was surprised to hear how long this place had been around as its one of those places that you could pass by many times but not notice it. Very nice owners by the way!

You can not go wrong with this BBQ. We like everything we have tried there so far. And the Mr & Mrs are very nice people .

This guy has good Barbeque ribs, you get a 1/2 slab of ribs with hot or mild sauce, and two sides, I got fries and Cole slaw, $15.00, it was all above average, No seating it's take out only, the place looks like he is remodeling but it's always been this way.they are super friendly people, the thing I dislike is they have a sign that says No Returns, makes it sound like too many people have returned their food, also many other items, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, he also does catering.

We wanted barbecue and Yelped to find one while we were in the area. The reviews were all positive, so we stopped in. It's a small takeout place, but has a few seats at the little counter, where we parked ourselves. Hubby ordered the 1/2 slab and a hot link. I got the pulled pork without bread. Heaven awaited our palates when we dug in, with ribs falling off the bone hot link making interior heat and the pulled pork creating an addictive hankering for more. The sauce was the best we ever tasted, hot for hubby and mild for me. The Mr. and Mrs. were very gracious, giving us a second helping of the tasty Cole slaw (the potato salad was also lip smacking). What a little gem! 5 stars for the quality of the food and service. 4 for not having brisket today.
