Nice to have such a nice place to go to with the kids. They love the food it's simple but tasty. Pulled pork BBQ on pretzel roll is really good. My sons favorite. The burgers are really good. Monster pretzels. Woohoo. Beers cold, worth the effort.

All in all not a bad place to go. Went with some friends for the first time on Friday for karaoke. We had a great time. Our server was nice and attentive. Food was ok, but one of the men who was with us loved his burger so much he told me about it a few times. Was very clean inside which I was not really expecting from the outside. The place was a little bit dead for a Friday night, but that didn't really bother me much. All the people who work there were really nice. Will be back again I'm sure.

What was a promising new place on the north side of town is so disapointing. Bad food, bad service, bad prices, and not very clean. It is never busy. Pretty sure it will be closed sometime in 2014. Since Rookies came to town, they could have been a good competition, but looks liek Rookies won this battle. Bye Sponsors.

Let's be serious. The food is bad, the appetizers are frozen and better quality comes from Costco freezers. Forget about the nachos,last time I was there no topping except cheese and tomatoes. I know we live in Huntley and a little off the urban path, and you might think we don't care about the low grade food. On the contrary I beg for Sponsers to make it in Huntley, please work on your food. I would love to be excited to go there with my family for years to come......great bar atmosphere!

I stopped in after shopping nearby around 4:30pm. I felt like I was imposing.on them. Maybe they're just going after a late night crowd, but I'll never go there again. I was never even offered a menu. Sorry, but I have choices - I'm doing you the favor by coming in - not the opposite. My guess is this place is doomed to fail.

went as a large group after kids baseball game. bottled beer was skunky, nachos had chili on them, not taco meat, and our fries came to us black as night. when we informed the waitress that they were burnt and we couldn't eat them, she said, 'yeah, i know'. didn't apologize or anything. just took them away and brought more later. the rueben is terrible. inedible. this was my second time here. and my last. the kids liked it, mainly because of the ridiculously expensive bubble hockey game, but we won't be going back. we live in huntley, and support huntley business, but not this one.

Went to Sponsors Bar and Grill last night for a fish fry with our son and family. There were 10 adults and 2 children. Most of us had the fish fry,( I had grilled, yum) others had the Philly cheese steak, chicken fingers and burgers. We had a great server Sean, who didn't mess up once for such a large party nor did he forget about us. The food was excellent and I would definitely go back. We didn't have one complaint at our table and enjoyed ourselves. Checked out the nachos someone from another table ordered and they looked amazing. Great spot, easy parking, friendly staff and excellent food, what more could you ask for...

It's an okay place to stop in for a quick beer, but sit at the bar and eat before you go. The food and service are sub par. It's not that difficult to make a decent burger and appetizers, I wish the owners would at least try.

Sponsors has way above average bar food with a few healthy options. The bar has a nice look and feel. The food and drinks are priced reasonably and there are plenty of TV's to watch the game on. The people who work there are friendly and attentive which is important in my opinion. There are plenty of bars in this area to choose from. Sponsors is by far the best.

First time here, had the fish fry and I thought it was very good. It's all you can ate. They give you three large pcs of fish to start with. Fast & friendly service. I would come back here and try something else.

Been here twice already. First time I got a burger which was horrible. Second time I ordered boneless wings which were horrible as well. Both times I ordered Miller Lite draft and it seemed flat. Will not be returning ... I'll stick with Parkside Pub down the road.

We went here for the first time..and it was horrible! Our service was a disaster. My parents got the all you can eat fish and our order took 40 mins! They finally bring out the fish and it was a measly 2 pieces. My fries were black and I asked the waiter (when he came back 35 min after we got our meals and our drinks were empty) how could he even serve these fries? He said sorry and when he gave us our check he took 30 cents off. I was furious! I will never go back there and I wanted to walk out I was that upset.
