Best high quality sushi in the Western suburbs! If you are willing to spend the extra money on fresh, made-to-order rolls, Nabuki is a great choice. The Crunchy roll is my favorite by far. We also loved the unique Red Devil roll, as well as high quality versions of the classics Dragon or Godzilla. One of our guests does not like seaweed, and Nabuki was very accommodating for her special request to make the roll with rice paper instead. Edamame, miso soup, tempura vegetables (that you can order by the piece), and pork dumplings were also good. Great ambience- very light yet modern, perfect for date night or a girls night out on a weeknight. You can also call ahead and pick up sushi to go.

I thoroughly enjoyed Nabuki. The place is small, and loud, but the food and service were outstanding. We tried the Picadilly, the Nabu, and a special roll not on the menu named after a patron at the table next to us..."Peter (forgot the last name)". All were outstanding. They were so fresh and flavorful. Our waitress was awesome. She stopped by often, and offered her opinion on which rolls we would like (she was not wrong on a single one). I'd definitely come back, but might come earlier when it's not as crowded.

Ever since the liquor laws were lifted, real restaurants have been popping up (and often subsequently closing down) at a speedy click. Real estate in Hinsdale is heinously high, so to survive you have to offer something seriously awesome. Nabuki is seriously awesome. The first time we came here we expected Americanized sushi with meh fish at super high prices. Good sushi in the midwest is hard to come by. Nabuki definitely does not do traditional Japanese rolls, but their creations are scrumptious and so excellent. In addition, their bartenders and servers are knowledgable and great at what they do. My boyfriend and I have agreed that if we ever have to hire a bartender for a private party, the ladytender at Nabuki will be our first choice. You must, must order the Ika Salad (squid salad with tart vinegar dressing). It's an amazing take on the traditional. Get it spicy. The specialty rolls are killer. Just tell the server what you like and tell him/her to bring you something good. Works every time. This place is great. If you're in the mood for sushi or even just for a drink, check it out.

Went there for lunch date with DH - food was great. It was not crowded but took a while for food to come, and I believe one of our rolls were initially forgotten. Overall still a good experience. Must try the fresh wasabi, it was worth the $5 for a small spoonful.

We came here late on a Wednesday after another event, looking to supplement the appetizers we'd had. One of our group members suggested all of us trying sake since we had little experience with it. He asked about the coconut lemongrass one, and the waiter warned us that some people think it tastes like tanning lotion, but that he liked it-- probably should've listened to the customer population on that one!! Again, I've never had sake before, this one was milky white and had a strong coconut/tanning lotion/floral taste to it. We were going to go for two bottles, until we tried this. I do not recommend! We ordered 3 sushi rolls to share. Most are about $12-14, which is a tad pricey in my opinion. We had the Gorilla, the Kicker (SPICY), and dragon roll. The gorilla was my favorite, with the crunchy outside, and chunks of cream cheese inside. The kicker did just that- provided a big kick in the mouth! I like a little heat, but this was past my normal threshold. Everything was fresh and delicious though. Service was a bit slower, especially since the night was slowing down, and we could see our server talking to other staff members, and not coming back to us, but he was very nice when he did come around. I would try it again, on an empty stomach so I could appreciate it all more.

I loved the experience, and the food tasted great. But I got some bad diarrhea afterward. I think they should validate their Tuna suppliers and make sure they're not substituting it with Escolar. Seriously, that fish makes people shit and it's illegal to sell in some European countries. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Es…

Great cocktails and sushi. Definitely pricey, but fresh and tasty.

The quality of the sushi and the selection on the sake list will make me come back here when I'm in town.

Apparently it's a good idea to have a reservation here on a Saturday night. We did not have one but we lucked out and got seated anyway since we arrived before the crowd (by the time we left there wasn't a seat open in the restaurant.) Here is a play-by-play of our dining experience. The waiter was friendly, and seemed to love his job, as well as the food. The woman bussing, and filling our waters, etc. was also friendly and expeditious (that's right, I'm breaking out the SAT words for this review.) If you're a fan of tempura, this place is a MUST. They have a list of 15-20 items that you can order tempura battered that includes items such as Enoki, Lobster, Scallop, Pumpkin... The list is vast. We ordered Shrimp ($6 for 2 large pieces) and Sweet Potato ($3 for 3 medium sized pieces.) They were delicious and the sauce was perfect. We tried a whole bunch of sushi and rolls. We started off with a nigiri & maki combo. This came with a spicy tuna roll & 9 pieces of nigiri sushi (a mix of salmon, tuna, hamachi, escolar, and snapper) Aside from the snapper, which was slightly tough, the nigiri sushi was all fantastic. The spicy tuna roll was nothing special, a little mushy and not very spicy. Next up, the King Crab roll was quite good. Like an upscale California roll, very fresh and flavorful. The "Hamachi Loves You" special was fabulous. It's 5 pieces of yellowtail wrapped around mango & avocado slices, topped with jalapeño. So fresh and delicious! The "Kicker" roll was another stand out for me, it definitely has some kick, but even though it's extremely spicy, the spice doesn't overwhelm the flavor, and the flavor is incredible. We honestly should have stopped there because we were already full but we decided to have another roll AND a (small) dessert. We ended the meal with the Picadilly Roll (Tempura Lobster, sprouts, scallions, avocado, topped with eel sauce and spicy mayo) - not as fresh as the other rolls and not the usual kind of roll I like to order but tasty nonetheless. And then we had the mochi. $4.50 for 2 pieces. You choose your flavors, we chose vanilla and green tea. It was the best mochi I've ever tasted both flavor-wise and texturally. With all of our food, plus a top-shelf martini for my husband, and Jasmine tea for me, we spent around $120 pre-tip. Not bad at all! If we were local, I'd definitely be back. I'm sure we'll come back again next time we're in town.

Best sushi out west. We've had the best time when we let the waitress pick the meal for us. Not cheap, but consistent. And it saves you the trip downtown.

This place stands alone as the absolute greatest sushi restaurant ever. I am not exaggerating, the food is worth every cent. The staff is so helpful and attentive. The fish is always fresh. There is bar seating in the front and a dining room in the back. Oh! There is also seating around the sushi bar so you can watch them prepare your food. If you're going to grab diner in the Hinsdale area Nabuki would be my #1 recommendation!

We came for dinner on a Friday night at 6 pm. The restaurant had a really lively buzz, even though there were always a few empty tables. Nabuki is not our go-to place for sushi, but we decided to give it another shot. To share, we had the shrimp spring roll, nabu roll, Piccadilly roll, and crazy jalapeño. The spring roll was very forgettable, flavors all blended together. I enjoyed the nabu roll and appreciated the generous heaps of crab on top of each slice. The Piccadilly roll was okay, couldn't tell there was lobster in it. However, the crazy jalapeño was crazy good. Definitely the best thing I ate all night! I ordered the nigiri/sashimi combo, mostly because I was too lazy to order a la carte. They offered a nice selection of various fish. It really is a generous portion for the price, but they cut their sashimi very large. This had the effect of looking clunky and difficult to eat. The cutting was very neat, just pieces on the large side. Chirashi don had the same kind of deal. For the most part, prices are fair but some of the rolls are a bit expensive. Our server was extremely friendly and helpful, which combatted the slowness of the kitchen. The food came out pretty slow for a party of 3, and for sushi. One of our rolls took a particularly long time, so that was removed from our bill. Overall, I think Nabuki is decent. Seems like a great place to come with friends or even young kids. However, there is better sushi in the west suburbs!

A+ service with the BEST sushi in the chicago area! I wish the place was bigger because it's always busy and can be loud.

This is a great spot to get sushi. My boyfriend ordered the tuna tacos and sea scallops with truffle mashed potatoes which he loved. I don't eat fish so they had a few good options for me- edamame, miso soup, and veggie rolls which were delicious. Everything came out quick and fresh. We called that day to make reservations, but we had to wait 35 minutes once we got there. The manager came and apologized as well as offered to pay for our first round of drinks which was a nice change of pace. The ambiance was so relaxing and upscale. The dining room was small but did not feel squished at all. We had a nice relaxing and private booth. The only complaint I had was while we were sitting at the bar we noticed multiple waitresses putting the palms of their hands on the top of straws while mixing drinks- this didn't sit well with me, but the actual bartender was friendly, informative, and sanitary. I would recommend coming here. Make a reservation and leave time to locate a parking spot.

Oooo, Nabuki! We dined here last week with another couple who we always go on sushi dates in the city, we opted to stay in the suburbs this time...bold move considering the incredible downtown sushi options. But, Nabuki blew us away! It was sooooo delicious! We had the Rockin' Calamari to start which came with a sweet dipping sauce. The sushi rolls that really stand out were the Picadilly and the Nabu roll which were amazing. I loved that the sushi roll options consisted of many different types of fish/shellfish as the main focus of the roll (tuna, shrimp tempura over and over again gets boring). Everything was wonderful, loud/fun atmosphere in beautiful downtown Hinsdale, we'll be back!

My rating is for take out only, one day soon we will dine in. Overall, very fresh and delicious sushi. It is a bit on the high end of pricing, but we liked everything we had and they were very nice on the phone and when we picked up our food. No single roll wowed us, but none disappointed either.

We love Nabuki. Their crabby tuna is a staple order and we think the atmosphere is busy and modern.plus they have a mocha sampler with tons of different flavors to finish things off.

I want to like this place-close to home and has great vibe. In the world of sushi bars, you can either offer discount sushi for the masses or be expensive and impeccable. Unfortunately, Nobuki is neither. My martini was saccharine and my spicy tuna role suffered from the Midwestern custom of mincing the tuna. Dollar for dollar Sushi House provides better value, but lacks the decor.

Nabuki is great for a night out as a couple, an early dinner with the kids, or a small group. The kids menu is fun, our kids love the hot dog roll and the chicken fingers with edamame. We like to try the specials and we love the Crazy Jalapeño appetizer. They also have fun drinks and a cool atmosphere.

You always remember your first time :) I had my first sushi experience at Nabuki and let me tell you it has set a standard that is hard to meet let alone beat. I've been here for a casual happy hour snack, an intimate dinner, even a 70th birthday surprise party and have never been disappointed! The food quality and service is outstanding. Brian has been our waiter on several occasions and is fantastic. He offers great suggestions and its nice that he remembers my picky palate! Sitting at the sushi bar, Bobby will take care of you - no need for a menu - but be prepared to e.a.t.! The surprise party was over 6 months ago and everyone in the family was still talking about how great it was at Christmas. Don't be afraid to tell your server what you like, they have so many off menu rolls that there is bound to be something you will like.

I have been here 3 times for lunch. It's never been too crowded. 1st time was 5 star, our waitress was top notch, she was confidently bringing us off the menu specials that she said we had to have and was nailing it. 2nd and 3rd time were both border line 4/5 star experiences, just didn't quite enjoy all the rolls as well as I did the 1st time but still extremely good. Overall best suburban sushi place I have experienced, great service and somewhat innovative. Order the Stanley Cup roll, if you like a little kick and the Trace Unagi, if you like Unagi.

Let me just first start out by saying that they have REAL WASABI. Those sushi lovers who come for nigiri and sashimi know how important that is. Silly rolls don't apply. The food here is pretty damned good. The atmosphere is chaotic. The service is top notch. If you're going for dinner, make a reservation. The tables are tight so maybe order extras for your neighbors cause they're right there next to you. I'm thinking they need a bigger space, but I like what they're doing here. Prices are on par with good sushi. Only criticism would be fish temp - too cold and rice could be seasoned better. But above all, I tell everyone I know in the western suburbs about this place - consistently good.

The place is really cute, but it is loud and it really is quite expensive. We wanted entrees and did not have the sushi. Our appetizer was the best thing we had -the crazy jalapeno. It was very different and not what you would expect, but very tasty. I had the Chilean sea bass and my husband had the seared tuna. It was good, but my husband got a piece of tuna and a very small medley of vegetables. He had to ask for some rice, which we were charged $3 for and it was like an ice cream scoop size. The bottom line is that we spent about $100 with tip and we left hungry..

Our last dinner out before our little baby boy was born and it was AMAZING. The sushi, the miso, the tea...goodness I wish we were going to hinsdale every week again just so I would have an excuse to visit this place again. Only down fall is that it is pretty pricey.

Nabuki was an interesting experience. I went there with high expectations but sadly they weren't fulfilled. As soon as my friend and I got there, the host insulted my friend by saying she spelled her name in a weird way. Then when I asked to be seated in a booth he said I'm sorry we have a lot of people coming in today so I won't be able to seat you anywhere else. The restaurant was empty at this time. I found that extremely unprofessional. Thank goodness our waitress was helpful and made up for the crappy service. The food was good but totally over priced. We got an appetizer and two rolls and our total was around $45. Definitely won't be going back there again.

Simply fresh and delicious just the way Sushi should be! I have been here enough times to say their quality does not waiver. The sashimi is amazing, especially with the natural wasabi that is served upon request. Moshimo Roll served covered in crunchy beets is delicious! Farah, Sharon, Brian and the rest of the staff is professional and provide top notch service. Ask for the specialty martini with jalepeño and lime...it's a must!

Great local place for sushi here in burbs. The waitress I had tonight was a sweetheart. Food was good, had the red devil roll and the crispy jalapeño appetizer. I didn't order it tonight but make sure you order the Asian taco appetizer, super yum!

As a former Hinsdale resident, it's great to see the old Picadilly put to good use. This is now one of my top gluttony sites in Chicago and the burbs. The sushi has always been top notch, the service has always been excellent, and it has always been spotless. The saki selection is also very good, but watch out for the automatic bottle replacement when one bottle runs dry. That cost me $100 bucks and a small hangover once. Parking can be an issue, but Hinsdale has always had parking problems.

Long story short ..... Halina was our server she was great and the food was fu**ing yummy. I'm a young chef and it takes a lot for me to to say wow and that's all I have to say!! Must try... It's city quality in the burbs .

My absolute fave sushi spot. The crabby tuna appetizer is so good I could easily have it all for myself. But all of the rolls I've had there (have tried almost all of them) have been great. Tried tempura veggies...omg... So good. Great service too. Can't say enough about this place... Like sushi? Go.

We arrived on a Saturday night with a 5:30 PM reservation. The restaurant was empty aside from one table in the corner. The hostess offered us the first table behind the hostess stand. When we asked for a table or booth away from the entrance she stated that they were all reserved. When we explained that we also had a reservation and would like a different table than the only one we were offered, she stated that we would have to finish dining by 6;30 PM. it surprises me that a restaurant would allow a rude, condescending girl like this represent their establishment. We have dined here and brought friends here many times, but this will be our last. When my wife spoke to the manager, this kid continued to roll her eyes and display a total disrespect which was uncalled for. Don't waste your time here because the food is not worth the aggravation!

As far as suburban sushi goes, we haven't found any better. A couple comparable maybe. The staff was a little over attentive...picture the chopsticks wrapper barely touching the counter before it was swept up along with a "how's everything going" every 4 minutes. There was no wait as we sat at the bar being 2 of the 6 customers so we can't speak to their delays. Perhaps a little pricey but it is Hinsdale.

Denise V.
My husband and I have been here easily a couple dozen (or many more!) times and think it's just fantastic. The staff is top-notch, the rolls are always creative and inventive. Yes, the prices are a bit higher than some other places - but they do not skimp on the serving sizes and the quality is superb. It is completely worth the visit. The selections for vegetarians are a little limited, but ask the waiter what can be done if you don't like what's available - I've had many special rolls (even ones not currently offered as a special) altered to vegetarian versions. Love the use of spicy foods like sriracha, jalapenos, and other ingredients that add zing.

I would give this restaurant five stars, based upon the quality of the food. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to my expectations. I think we either got the server with attitude, or just had bad luck. First, we were seated right by the door, and it was cold. When I asked the hostess if we could move six tables down to be away from the door, all of which were vacant at the time, she said no you can move over one. Strike one for customer service. After some time, I noticed that the five couple seated near us and seated 20 to 30 minutes after us began to receive their food on time and in the correct order. That certainly wasn't my experience. After our appetizer arrive, we ordered some salads and a couple of other items. About 40 minutes later, our first item arrived, and then 10 minutes after that we flagged down our server and asked about the salads. She said she'd forgotten to put them on order. Our second item arrived, just after the salads. Strike two for customer service. Just after the salads, the manager arrived, and apologized for the mixup's and the painfully slow service. He promised to take care of us on the bill. When the bill arrived, there was a glass of wine listed for $20 when the one we ordered was only 12. They're also wasn't any consideration for the long wait - and I should mention, that by this time, the other five couples in our vicinity had finished their desserts and after dinner drinks and left. We were still sitting there.. Strike three for customer service. I mentioned the issues with the bill to our server, and she gave me a little bit of attitude about it, and hinted that I should be pleased at the fact that my after dinner drink was the end of the bottle so I only got a sip, and she didn't charge me for it. Great. It was finally all sorted out, with the correct price for the glass of wine, and an eight dollar dessert credited, for my trouble. Not sure I'll try them again.

Food and service were both good. The atmosphere was nice too. We went on the recommendation of a friend who also recommended a few rolls. The rolls weren't on the menu but when we asked about them they were able to prepare them. If we hadn't been told about these hidden rolls we would have missed out.

Worth every penny. I like to let Farrah, my favorite server, choose which appetizers and entrees she recommends and pair with a cocktail. There are many great servers there too who are all very knowledgeable. Mike, Sharon, Tim? anyways- they know their stuff here and the sushi is definitely the best outside of the city. Having lived downtown and traveled so often I admit I'm sushi spoiled. Finding this place was a treasure! Thank Goodness! Make a reservation though because they are always booked.

One of the few sushi places in the west suburbs to occasionally have REAL wasabi. Sushi is pretty good, and the prices reflect it. Special rolls have been always good except around thanksgiving they had a special with turkey and mashed potatoes... Yuck!

Went here for lunch last Friday with my sister. The waitress was pushing us to order even though it wasn't even 2:00pm and they serve lunch until 2:30pm Plus I saw people still being served an hour later. Nice atmosphere, good food but don't don't think I'll go back. I had one beer and an appetizer and my bill, with tip was $30. The appetizer consisted of 4 small pieces of sushi for $18.00 Ridiculous!

Nabuki...let's see. We moved to Hinsdale in September, from downtown Chicago. Let me start by saying... I miss sushi in the city.. but, in Hinsdale, where else can you find decent sushi. nowhere. We ordered take-out at least 4 times. The first time they told my husband 45 minutes, and when he arrived, they hadn't even started on his order yet. Then we made dinner reservations there with another couple. It was our first night out since having a new baby. We arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and the hostess says to me "we need the table back by 8:15". I said.. "ok...well, I guess it depends on how fast your restaurant is." HOW RUDE!!!! You might be the only sushi place in Hinsdale, but no need to be rude! You'd never make it downtown. So we mentioned it to our waiter (who was awesome) and he apologized profusely. Dinner was good. Server knew the menu really well, as I had some dietary challenges and he made it super easy to navigate. We got done around 8:45 and as we were leaving I discovered the manager. I told him what happened and he didn't even apologize. Didn't really say anything. He seemed young..maybe didn't know how to handle it, but COMPLETELY screwed it up even further. We will NEVER go back there or order take-out from there again. if this is how you are going to treat your guests, then we will find another place!

Love it when a new restaurant comes to town! Especially when that town is Hinsdale which has been void of contemporary restaurants for a long time. Nabuki is a much needed breath of fresh air with it's modern decor, delicious sushi, and service that was knowledgeable and friendly. It felt alot like the sushi restaurants I visit in the city. Open for just under two weeks, I had the pleasure of dining there and I am sure to be a "regular" whether for eating in or taking out. The decor is contemporary with cool- greens and oranges with a wall treatment that reminds me of water with it's raised design. The front area is the bar area (also much needed in Hinsdale) with high tops scattered in front of the large windows. They have a full bar or you can also bring in your own wine if you want, for a corkage fee. In the back is the dining room and the sushi bar with a few booths along the walls and several other tables. Not a large place and on this Monday night- all the tables were full. We were seated immediately for our reservation and began to go over the menu. Cold appetizers, hot appetizers, Tempura and sushi make up the majority of the menu with 8 or so main courses like Japanese ribs, steak and seafood. We started with the soft shell crab (always my fav when it is in season) and it was quite tasty. Next up- the spicy tuna salad which was like a sundae glass filled with the "innards" of a spicy tuna roll. Quite possibly the best appetizer on the menu. As for our main course- we had a variety of their signature rolls. If you like spicy- try the "Stop, Drop and Roll" roll with spicy tuna and shrimp tempura with avocado. Or the Picadilly (named after the restaurant that used to be in this space oh so many years ago) with lobster, radish sprouts and spicy mayo. Or the Nabu roll with soft shell crab and spicy mayo. All were artfully presented and quite delicious! The desert menu has everything from green tea ice cream to mini donuts to a lava cake. We didn't try any of them but the cake at the next table smelled wonderful! Street parking is easy in the downtown area after 6 which makes it even more convenient. Dinner for two with drinks ran about $110 but you could certainly do less rolls than we did as the signature rolls are pretty large. Signature rolls run about $16 each with the more basic rolls going for around $8-$9. They are open only for dinner now- but plan to open for lunch in the near future (according to the hostess). Hinsdale needs more destination places like it's neighbors to the east (La Grange) and north (Elmhurst). I'm just happy that there is a new place in town that feels like a little bit of the city has moved out to Hinsdale!
Uhm, good sushi. Great, no. Pricey for take out but the scene looked really enjoyable and they had a selection of Svedka.. so I like them. I'm saying good weekday date spot a few blocks from the BNSF but overpriced for a stop-in/take-home dinner.

First time.... good food but so noisy we couldn't converse at all......felt cramped in the space provided which was a second choice spot despite having a reservation. Restaurant is a popular place in a too small space. Service was good but slow. Will probably not return.

About as good as it gets when it comes to suburban sushi, I would put this on par with many of my favorite spots on the North side of Chicago. Fatty tuna, fatty salmon, unagi roll were all spot on. Great service - they even made a special roll for my vegetarian wife which she loved. As others have said, only minus is that thie premium service/food also comes at a premium price. We will definitely be back.

I was really looking forward to trying this place based on the reviews. The servers and host were very polite but I found myself constantly searching for my waitress and she was nowhere to be seen. We had some sushi rolls which were excellent and, based on the reviews, we thought we try a couple of the high-end dishes. We chose the lobster tail and salmon entrees. Sadly both lobster and salmon were way overcooked and the lobster was almost certainly pre-frozen. The lobster had a mushy texture and the salmon was a bit dry. Since both dishes were overcooked but edible we didn't complain. We just won't get them again. Our drinks which included the house Sake were quite good but I thought the total quality of the meal did not live up to the price. If you go, skip the lobster and stick to sushi.

We have ordered from Nabuki several times since we moved from the city a year ago. It's the only worthy place in the burbs for sushi. Our most recent order was Friday, when we got our order home we noticed it was incorrect. It had the same name on the order. I called and spoke to the manager Sergio. He was amazing. Had the chef make us a new order and drove it out to us within 30 minutes. Nabuki does not normally deliver. Greatly appreciate when a restaurant realizes they made a mistake and responds quickly. Sushi was great as usual. Best part was our order was 2x the cost and they gave it to us for no additional charge. Another happy customer!!!

Let's try this again since Nabuki decided to take my original review from January off Yelp....We frequently went to Nabuki 2-3 times a month, but will not go back based on our experience this past weekend. Don't bother making reservations because they won't guarantee you to sit down at a table even 15 minutes AFTER your reservation time. The manager was extremely rude to us. The waitstaff has gone downhill in recent months and the sushi is very overpriced. Don't bother visiting this restaurant- it will be a waste of your time!

I am perplexed at the bad reviews. I have dined here at least 20 times since it opened and have always had superior sushi/rolls/sashimi. Service always great! Sharon rocks, and knows her stuff behind the bar and for sushi recommendations. This is the BEST place, hands down in the suburbs! Just ate there last Tuesday evening and can't wait for lunch tomorrow.

I officially found the best [earlier] happy hour spot in down town Hinsdale... I submitted a pic of the roll we ordered but I should have taken a pic of all the sake we put back. The gals and I never were happier that we lived so close. It's nice the scariest part of walking home here is the train!

Hands down the best sushi I've EVER had in the midwest! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE me some Nabuki!!! They will make you any roll you can imagine...off the menu. The drinks are fantastic and the food and service are even better! Love the pumpkin tempurra! Will go back again and again!
Back to Nabuki tonight. Food was good as always. However, the service was overzealous and negatively impacted our overall experience. We felt like we were being hovered over and rushed out. My unfinished wine glass was even picked up before I noticed it was gone. And, we had to shoo away multiple attempts from the waitress and bus boy who were trying to pick up plates before my wife was even finished. To end the evening, our waitress came rushing back to check on the bill within two minutes of dropping it off. I had not even had a chance to look at it!

Fabulous food but personal hygiene by at least one staff member was gross: a sushi chef recently incorrectly prepared an order while on the cell phone. According to the DuPage County Department of Health that investigated the matter the staff member did not use proper hand washing techniques between tasks. Hopefully the problem will be corrected with in-service training for all staff. At the time, no management was present to supervise the food preparation but expressed concern about rectifying the problem.

I soooo wanted to like this place :( Service and atmosphere were great! The $18 appetizer "special" was a tuna roll wrapped around some crabmeat and the tuna was veiny, which I cannot stand! Also ordered the calamari and rock shrimp appetizer which tasted like rubber. The two rolls we had for dinner were decent, but not enough to make me rush back in. So bummed!!

Love it here. They always make accommodations for me because I have celiac but one night even after knowing this they took my order for sushi, had no gf soy sauce on hand and suggested that I dip my sushi in vinegar.... That wasn't god so I ended up having two seaweed salads for dinner and my friend had a martini spilled on her after dinner. No adjustments made on check.

The food here was good. Atmosphere is hip and chic. Prices are high, but it comes with the territory in this affluent neighborhood. Its a great place to meet up with some friends if you want decent ambiance. Other than that, I've had much better sushi at much better prices. I would come again to meet up with someone, but not on a regular dining experience.

Two things in my mind stick out from here.... EXCELLENT wakame salad and EXCELLENT, actually probably the best I've had, octopus salad. The rolls were scrumptious and fun. Place is very expensive, but you know that going in. Top notch ingredients. Cool ambience. Great service. I'd go back and have the salads, at $8 each, it's the deal of the place.....

We went on a Thursday night. Very busy for a suburban location. There is an extensive wine, beer, sake and cocktail menu. Very nice. We had an array of appetizers, tempura, sushi, and rolls. In general, the non-Nigiri sushi items were very good. The tempura is outstanding. We had tempura entree to share, and it was very nice - crisp, and tender. The tempura soft shell crab appetizer - delicious. Tempura jalapeno stuffed with crabmeat - also delicious. The hot scallop appetizer was interesting and pretty tasty but the scallops were too chewy. The picadilly (tempura lobster) roll was good. However, we were disappointed by the Nigiri sushi. First of all, the selection was a bit slim. There was too much rice and the fish was too slippery. Difficult to pick up with chopsticks and I am an expert chopstick user - a la Mr. Miyagi (well, almost). The saba (mackerel) was almost inedible due to the skin being so sinewy - I had to spit it out. I've never had mackerel like that - was it even mackerel? The food came out slowly but our waiter was very attentive and informative. BTW, we did see a prominent local chef and his family eating there and definitely enjoying themselves. That says a lot. So I would say to go for the non-Nigiri sushi items and you won't be disappointed. If you know your sushi, this place probably won't become your go to place for that.

First, as a caveat, most of my experiences are at lunch time. Service then is hit or miss, but mostly hit. The reason I keep going back, however, is the sushi. I order rolls and sashimi, and it's all delicious. At this point, I defer to the chef when I order (with minimal guidelines), and have never been disappointed. If service was always on, this would definitely be 5 stars.

Great new edition to the neighborhood! Having grown up in Hinsdale I couldn't be happier to see something with a bit of city flare setup shop in the middle of 1st street, even better, Juan Perez, sushi chef extraordinaire, is behind the sushi bar inventing even more exquisite creations. I came here for my birthday and Juan greeted me with "Rolls Royce," adding that I'd enjoy it more than a traditional birthday cake and right he was! This roll is simply delectable, a festival of flavors in your mouth, however I ate it so fast that I wasn't able to catch what was in it. I will have to order this one again. Next I ordered the Japanic Roll: Spicy tuna, cream cheese, avocado and Japanese mint, topped with black and red tobiko. It's a nice mix of spicy, cool (mint) and creamy. Finally I ended with the Jalapeño, which is four pieces of hallowed jalapeño peppers filled with a creamy crab filling, very very very tasty!! I was too full for dessert but I will be coming back here to try more of the menu. I will definitely be telling my friends from the city to come visit my hometown to see what the city is missing.

Went here with the family last Saturday night. It's on a main drag in Hinsdale, easy parking (we went early though). Loved the decor in the restaurant. I had the pork dumplings, the "stop, drop and roll" and a plate of sashimi. The kids split a hot dog roll (no joke - a hot dog inside a rice roll with edamame side - very good actually) and chicken (real, actual chicken breast) fingers. My wife had the miso, a veggie roll and the shumai. Oh, and an unfiltered saki. Overall a great experience. It's pricey, but very good for the price. My only food related complaints are that there was no kanpachi, and the otoro disn't seem that marbled - almost tekka like in looks but it did taste great. I really wish this restaurant well, and I'll be back. They should put their hours on their web page though - and a downloadable menu. Looking forward to a return where I can do omakase.

Love love love Nabuki!! Excellent service!! Delishious food, amazing rolls, great wine list!! I work down the street, have been there 4 times and ordered for an event and always always fabulous. The resturant is beautiful you would think your downtown in Chicago not Hinsdale. It has a very calming spa like feel and the people who work there really go out of their way to make sure your experience is wonderful! Nabu rolls I highly recommend!! It is a must see...check it our yourself!!

I live I'm the city and come out to visit my family after eating here a few times I can say that this is the best sushi in the suburbs, it's actually better than half of the sushi spots in downtown Chicago (try sunda if you want something great downtown or sushi toro) but this place is fabulous, the food and drinks are great and it's also very pretty. When a suburban place is busy on a Monday night, you know you are in the right place.

Fun trendy atmosphere and good sushi. Crabby tuna appetizer was good. Tried several of the special sushi rolls and they all were very good and fresh, especially the Hamachi Loves Me with mango and avacado. Spicy scallop roll had a bit too much rice. Flour less chocolate cake made a nice dessert to share. Overall was pricey, but sushi rolls were as good as many sushi places in the city, if more expensively priced. Decent wine was $14 a glass, beer $8 a bottle. Service was okay, although we told the server we needed to leave at 7:15 for a show, but while the food was delivered in plenty of time, she was slow bringing the check, making us about 15 minutes late.

Love the martinis. But the overwhelming smell of fish is a bit of a turn off. Great atmosphere...cozy and fresh. The sushi has gone a bit downhill in the past year but still average. Prefer Dao at times...

Omg! This place is amazing.. I went there last night with a friend, both our first time. We absolutely loved it. We didn't even have to open our menu. Farrah was great! We ordered all specials, including our drinks. The dicey roll is amazing. The favors are so well thought out. I woke up this morning craving it again.. My only complaint would be that there drink prices are pretty hight. $14 for a martini. We spent more on drinks then food. Other then that amazing. Hats off to the chefs.. We will be back.

A fabulous experience. We were there to celebrate our sons eighteenth birthday. Delicious food and outstanding service. Our server was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and specials for the day. They also have a great selection of wines. One of the items that we ordered was out of stock so the manager personally came and apologized and offered a more expensive alternative at the same price. In addition, they asked us to pick a dessert as complementary from the chef. The ambiance and location is great as well.

Good sushi spot, with a modern setting, friendly staff. After eating half to 2/3rds of the menu over the course of several trips, I have to say that almost everything we've tried and that our servers suggested, was pretty good. Price could be a deterrant for some, but I think that especially sushi, you do get what you pay for, and Nabuki didn't make me think twice about what I spent. We liked the specialty rolls, entrees (fish entrees especially), and the sashimi (tuna & salmon), and desert was pretty good (4x creme brulee, if i remember correctly)!

Went there for dinner and was very impressed. It's pricey, but I didn't feel ripped off - VERY good food. Service was great and the decor is very hip. The desert menu is uninspiring, but I was too full anyway! I would go back and recommend.

Nabuki is in Hinsdale town center, one block north of the metra tracks. Creative menu on some of the rolls, and the quality was very good. However the prices were very high for a suburban restaurant, even in Hinsdale. I would argue they are higher at par or higher than some downtown spots that offer same or better. Farrah was our server and she was very attentive. Great spot and environment with ambiance for a date night - not the place you're going to in for a casual dinner.

I have walked by this place a dozen times or so and always was a little intimidated. The decor is beautiful but in a "hands off" way. Tonight, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. The host was very nice and friendly and accommodating. Our server was so nice and chatty - I felt like we were old friends within minutes of sitting down. The place could not be filled with warmer or more down to earth people. However, I imagine if you are one to appreciate a more formal atmosphere with the staff you would not be disappointed. Our dining neighbors were definitely not the "chit chat" type and the server adjusted her demeanor accordingly. The drink list was extensive and reasonably priced. Most cocktails were in the $10-$12 range and wines by the glass were similarly priced. They had a great hot dog sushi roll for kids that was fun and actually really tasty. The rolls were very good and the pork gyoza was flavorful and light. I grabbed a menu to go so I can start dreaming about my next meal there! At 6:00 on a Thursday, parking was easy to find and the restaurant was only starting to fill up. While it seemed like a local spot, I think it is well worth a drive to visit.

i love this place. i'm so glad there is another option for sushi in my hood that's not sushi house. this place has a real downtown feel to it. you can be casual or dress up. the food is really excellent too. they have tacos and ceviche. i really enjoyed the green tea saketinis too. i can't wait to go back.

Ate here tonight for the first time. BEST sushi we've had in ages. Downtown quality and vibe in the suburbs. Farrah was our server and she couldn't be more helpful, even when we messed up our order. When we were accidentally charged for something we didn't order (we did order it, but thought it was a roll...it was an appetizer...so, we didn't think it was ours when they brought it...I know, silly mistake on our part) and without question she removed the charge. The manager came to ask how everything was and the rest of the service was perfect. I write reviews seldomly, but this was top notch. Will be our go-to sushi place from now on.

This is the Best Sushi in all of the Chicago Burbs...if not the entire Chicagoland area. Juan, the chef, is by all measures , the best, period. It's a bit pricey.....but the quality and amount you get for your money is outstanding. The shashimi cuts are large and absolutely fresh. NOT the skinny little slices you get at other locations. Pay more---GET more. A friend of mine is the " ultimate sushi snob" having dined all over the world...Japan in particular. Nabuki is the only place in the area that he'll eat at. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were able to have a date night, first one in a long time since the arrival of our twins, and Nabuki made it a wonderful time! Seeing how my wife was unable to have sushi while pregnant she has been craving it for a long time and wanted nothing else. We walked in to a great atmosphere, wow, absolutely beautiful! The lighting fixture were great looking, the "chain looking" drapes dividing the dining areas was cool and the bar was very eye catching as well. We were seated right away and the server gave us a minute to get situated before coming over, which I greatly appreciate. We ordered our cocktails and looked over the menu....great selections! They have your traditional sushi, like most other restaurants do but then they also had the "Chef's Own Creations" which sounded absolutely amazing after reading all the descriptions. We bypassed all appetizers and dove into the main element that we were there for......SUSHI!! We did order one item from the Chef's specialties, crab on top of crab with more crab, which was the primary base of that roll and boy did it deliver with taste! We did some traditional rolls but then I had seen a Spicy Scallop roll, which I had never seen at any other place, had to get it and I'm glad I did.....fantastic!! Even my wife enjoyed it and she's not a scallop eater. Service was great! Our server was very personable and laid back. The only negative thing I have to say about the place is the noise level. It did get loud in there as more people poured in, louder than I was expecting but that is nothing that is going to keep me away from there. I can deal with conversation noise for GREAT food. The wife and I have found our new go to Sushi joint and look forward to going back very soon!

I decided it was high time I tried dining in at Nabuki. I'm happy to report it was pretty good. Nice hip new atmosphere, clean and more mello. Sushi is cold and has unique flavor per each different roll you order. I've gone to places previously and the california roll tastes exactly like a spicey tuna...delish! This place had outstanding rolls and tempura is even better. I am a new sushi eater but this is pretty good stuff they have going here! Good sushi bars in the southwest burbs are hard to come by!

This is the third time I've been there and the service is terrible !! The sake menu always has wrong pricing or missing inventory and the bartender has no clue what sake is available. I alerted the manager to these issues but every time i go back it's the same problems. It's too bad because the food is really good and the atmosphere is very hip. I doubt I'll be back.

I just returned home from a fabulous dinner at Nabuki. I went with my parents, who are not too familiar with sushi and had a lot of questions. Our server, Aushra, was wonderfully patient, informative, and warm. Her suggestions were right on target. My dad was curious about their tempura, which I feared would be too oily for him because he's very healthy. Aushra assured us it was not too heave\y, and she was right. It was quite light and fully of flavor. My mom is vegetarian, and we ordered several items that were not on the menu. They accommodated us without hesitation. Another server, Rachel, was very attentive and would stop by and make sure we also had everything we needed. The food came out quickly, and the sushi was extremely fresh! We ordered their creme brulee and coffee for dessert, and were blown away with both! The portions are substantial and well presented for a sushi restaurant. I live in Chicago and have not found an excellent sushi restaurant in the suburbs. Now I have...and this will certainly be a mainstay for us!

I grew up in Hinsdale 20 years ago when the only decent restaurant we had was Tommy R's. Our family would pile in the station wagon and head for the city for interesting food. Now with Il Pogglio (sp?) and Nabuki I can head out from the city to visit my parents and get a fantastic meal, besides my Mother's cooking. The wait staff were very attentive, the space is modern and fun, and the rolls were inventive. My girlfriend said her escolar sashimi wasn't quite as good as she'd like but my yellowtail and japanese red snapper were fine. We ordered several appetizers and they forgot to serve one of them, but did not put it on the bill, so an honest mistake. Our waiter brought us a complimentary glass of Sake to try to interest us in it. My main complaint, and I'm being a grump I guess, but it is the large LCD TV over the bar. I guess we could have sat in the dining room but it was empty and there seemed to be more human energy in the bar-ish section. Plus the girlfriend wanted to sit at a high table. Do we really need TV everywhere? We left the house to go eat after we were done watching the Bears game. Oh and from experience and growing up there, the reason Hinsdale suddenly has restaurants of interest is they were a dry town for years and have recently reversed that law. Now that you can serve alcohol there's a new interest in restaurants in town.

And how great is it that even if a "special" isn't on the menu the day you go, that the chef is always willing to recreate it. There is a steak roll that we really enjoy that hasn't been on the menu or been a special the last couple times we've been here, and they still always let us order it.

Went last week, Saturday night. Friendly greeting, nice bartenders and the servers were very attentive. We were seated promptly for our 8:00 reservation. A few I'm going back for ASAP: Sunomono Salad (seafood/seaweed), Crab Cakes with amazing dipping sauces, Red Devil and Piccadilly Rolls. We also had a special sashimi of the day - I forget which type of fish was used, but is was cut a bit thicker, it had a wonderful smoky flavor and seemed to be rolled in something ...

Best sushi out west. We've had the best time when we let the waitress pick the meal for us. Not cheap, but consistent. And it saves you the trip downtown.

(5)Jane S.

(2)Ann G.

(4)Emily H.
(5)Erin Y.

Great Sushi in Hinsdale! I live in the area and this is one of the best Sushi places in Chicago! Michelin Guide seems to think so as well!

Nabuki is awesome Great sushi and the environment is wonderful Our server Sharon is fantastic Great suggestions of food

(5)Steph S.
Great sushi! I love to get carry out here. It can get VERY busy here so you MUST have a reservation!!!
(4)Hunter B.
One of the few sushi places in the west suburbs to occasionally have REAL wasabi. Sushi is pretty good, and the prices reflect it. Special rolls have been always good except around thanksgiving they had a special with turkey and mashed potatoes... Yuck!
(4)Barbara S.

Great atmosphere, delicious food & very friendly service.

(4)John P.
Best sushi in the burbs.
(5)Anne K.
As much as I find Hinsdale pretentious and annoying and so happy not to live there anymore, I find myself re-visiting old stomping grounds once in a while (Plus my aunt owns a shop there: "Art Quest Gallery" which is totally cool so please review it on Yelp and give it like a million stars- he he). Today I took my daughter to Nabuki... completely by accident. I'm so happy this happened because we stumbled upon the best sushi roll EVAHHHH! It's called the Christmas Roll and the waiter assured us we can order it like in July!!! That made me uber happy, because it just made Nabuki one of my favorite sushi spots in the Chicago area. I'm definitely coming back! For those looking for "what's it good for" review: -It has a cocktail bar with lots of cute ladies -Modern and trendy décor -Dress well (but of course no one in Hinsdale would be seen wearing anything less than Gucci) -Great service -Great food
(5)Brad C.
Uhm, good sushi. Great, no. Pricey for take out but the scene looked really enjoyable and they had a selection of Svedka.. so I like them. I'm saying good weekday date spot a few blocks from the BNSF but overpriced for a stop-in/take-home dinner.
(3)Leigh D.
First time.... good food but so noisy we couldn't converse at all......felt cramped in the space provided which was a second choice spot despite having a reservation. Restaurant is a popular place in a too small space. Service was good but slow. Will probably not return.
(2)John O.
(4)Pramod R.
Loved the appetizer : crazy jalapeños. ..Overall great dining experience :)
(5)Brian F.

(5)Melissa H.
(1)Julie A.
(5)Cheryl S.
I officially found the best [earlier] happy hour spot in down town Hinsdale... I submitted a pic of the roll we ordered but I should have taken a pic of all the sake we put back. The gals and I never were happier that we lived so close. It's nice the scariest part of walking home here is the train!
(4)Hillary D.
(5)Gigi G.
This place is hip and romantic... My bf and I love to checkout different restaurants..... This was one of those places, we said.... Thank god we tried that one.... Farrah, our server was just really nice, not too perky... Not too blaaaaah.... Gave us our privacy, but explained everything we needed to know, when asked... Perfection... We started with sake... Coconut lemongrass was really good... Sweet... Yey... We got pretty buzzed after two bottles... Tee hee.... Appetizer... We got the crazy jalapeño and tuna... Both were phenomenal.... We were hooked.... Miso soup... Was miso soup.... It's refreshing.... We got Lobster tempura next.... It was ok.... Then, we got the Nabu and Tunado.... Omg.... They were both good... Nabu, for me is better.... Tasty and crunchy.... Yummy.... "sigh" just getting full explaining all this.... SMH.... Then, we had creme brûlée and intelligencia coffee.... Bill was $130 plus tip... Jaaaaaah... That's how we roll baby.... Sooooo my verdict is.... This sushi place is definitely a keeper... Hinsdale at night is just so romantic....

(2)Sandra K.

So bummed!!
(2)Gina D.
(3)Jenn C.
(3)Kristin S.

(4)Gina Z.
(5)Al L.
(5)Chip W.
(4)Deborah H.
Love the martinis. But the overwhelming smell of fish is a bit of a turn off. Great atmosphere...cozy and fresh. The sushi has gone a bit downhill in the past year but still average. Prefer Dao at times...
(3)Katie B.
(5)Minu G.
(5)Vijay R.
(4)Scott C.
Went there for dinner and was very impressed. It's pricey, but I didn't feel ripped off - VERY good food. Service was great and the decor is very hip. The desert menu is uninspiring, but I was too full anyway! I would go back and recommend.
(4)Kenneth S.
(4)Susan B.
This is a fun place for going out and the food is pretty good. I say drop the fake crab stix and it'll be a notch above the rest.
(3)Rosalind R.
Great food! Upbeat atmosphere!Great service!
(5)Momma G.
Everything I have tried here is amazing!!!!
(5)Margo L.
(5)julia r.
More than just fabulous sushi. Such a welcome addition to dining in and around HInsdale. LOVE IT!
(5)mei s.
i love this place. i'm so glad there is another option for sushi in my hood that's not sushi house. this place has a real downtown feel to it. you can be casual or dress up. the food is really excellent too. they have tacos and ceviche. i really enjoyed the green tea saketinis too. i can't wait to go back.
(4)Melissa B.
(5)Jim N.
(5)Kim J.
Amazing......The food and atmosphere was excellent. I felt like I was In the city. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made superb recommendations. The green tea Mochi balls were the perfect ending to a great dinner.
(5)Ron T.
(4)Angela B.
(5)david v.
(2)Monika S.
(5)Wayne O.
I have to rate this place a quick 3! I was in with my girl and we were the only one's in the place!. Had the lunch special that came w soup and a fresh salad that was very good. Service was friendly and fast but again we were the only ones in there . This place is packed on weekends told by our server. By the Looks of the place and the food I would agree!

(4)Julie J.
I'm so glad Nabuki opened up in Hinsdale. The sushi/sashimi here is outstanding. Everything I have had has been fresh and tasty. What really sets this place apart is the additional appetizers and special rolls. I usually come here with my family. None of them really love sushi/sashimi but they like some of the rolls (mostly the kind where whatever is in the rolls is cooked), tempura, teriyaki and all the typical American versions of Japanese food. But somehow we walk away from here all happy. My entire family loves the crab stuffed jalapenos (Crazy Jalapenos). I think the ceviche (my preference is the fluke) is awesome! And how great is it that even if a "special" isn't on the menu the day you go, that the chef is always willing to recreate it. There is a steak roll that we really enjoy that hasn't been on the menu or been a special the last couple times we've been here, and they still always let us order it.

Went on a recommendtion from a friend. A little pricey, but everything was damn good. Our server (Kevin) made a couple of outstanding menu recommendations that were right on! Will definitely be back again soon.

This is the second time I have been there and it was fabulous! The restaurant was buzzing with activity, service was good and food was delicious! The only negative- we were crammed in at a small bar table right by the door and everyone stares at you as they enter/exit.
(4)Kaley C.
Great sushi! Very fresh food and cool restaurant to dine at. I highly recommend the Blackhawk roll (special roll, may no longer be on the menu) and Godzilla roll! They are my favorite. For appetizer get the tuna tacos!
(5)Eileen H.
We were there the other day at lunch with about twelve people. The service was a little slow but we were not in a hurry. The food was delicious! It was just enough for lunch, just a main entree, no salad, no breads, everything is alacarte. This was fine with me as sometimes the lunches in restaurants are too heavy.

Went last week, Saturday night. Friendly greeting, nice bartenders and the servers were very attentive. We were seated promptly for our 8:00 reservation. Love the sleek, modern decor and also the lively atmosphere. We started with a really tasty Saki-peach martini (I think called Geisha's Glance ) and then a great bottle of cold Saki. We were a party of six so we ordered a LOT of food and EVERYTHING WAS SO TASTY! I wish I had paid more attention to the details because this was outstanding! Try Nabuki for a night out with friends, a date night or even pop into the bar area for a cocktail appetizer and some people-watching. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing......The food and atmosphere was excellent. I felt like I was In the city. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and made superb recommendations. The green tea Mochi balls were the perfect ending to a great dinner.

(5)david v.

(2)John O.
(4)Brian F.

Loved the appetizer : crazy jalapeños. ..Overall great dining experience :)

(5)Melissa H.
(1)Julie A.

(2)Sandra K.
(1)Keri W.
So bummed!!
(2)Gina D.
(3)Jenn C.
(3)Kristin S.

(3)B L.
(4)Anthony S.

(4)Gina Z.
(5)Al L.
(5)Chip W.
(4)Deborah H.
Love the martinis. But the overwhelming smell of fish is a bit of a turn off. Great atmosphere...cozy and fresh. The sushi has gone a bit downhill in the past year but still average. Prefer Dao at times...
(3)Katie B.
(5)Minu G.
(5)Vijay R.
(4)Scott C.

This is a fun place for going out and the food is pretty good. I say drop the fake crab stix and it'll be a notch above the rest.

Everything I have tried here is amazing!!!!

More than just fabulous sushi. Such a welcome addition to dining in and around HInsdale. LOVE IT!

i love this place. i'm so glad there is another option for sushi in my hood that's not sushi house. this place has a real downtown feel to it. you can be casual or dress up. the food is really excellent too. they have tacos and ceviche. i really enjoyed the green tea saketinis too. i can't wait to go back.

(5)Emily H.
(5)Michele S.

(5)Jane S.

(2)Ann G.
Great cocktails and sushi. Definitely pricey, but fresh and tasty.
(4)Glen M.

(5)Kevin M.
Best sushi out west. We've had the best time when we let the waitress pick the meal for us. Not cheap, but consistent. And it saves you the trip downtown.

(5)Julie J.
Came in on a busy Friday night and got very great service from both the host and servers. Enjoyed all of our rolls. Will be back!
(5)Robert K.
Great Sushi in Hinsdale! I live in the area and this is one of the best Sushi places in Chicago! Michelin Guide seems to think so as well!
(5)Kelli M.

(5)Downtown B.
My rating is for take out only, one day soon we will dine in. Overall, very fresh and delicious sushi. It is a bit on the high end of pricing, but we liked everything we had and they were very nice on the phone and when we picked up our food. No single roll wowed us, but none disappointed either.
(4)Brenda Lee J.
We love Nabuki. Their crabby tuna is a staple order and we think the atmosphere is busy and modern.plus they have a mocha sampler with tons of different flavors to finish things off.
(5)Stacie S.
(3)Jason M.
(5)Mimi S.
(5)Seamus M.
(4)Genni O.
(5)Irene K.
(3)Sara B.
Our last dinner out before our little baby boy was born and it was AMAZING. The sushi, the miso, the tea...goodness I wish we were going to hinsdale every week again just so I would have an excuse to visit this place again. Only down fall is that it is pretty pricey.
(5)Mushira A.
(3)Z O.
(5)Teanna T.
Great local place for sushi here in burbs. The waitress I had tonight was a sweetheart. Food was good, had the red devil roll and the crispy jalapeño appetizer. I didn't order it tonight but make sure you order the Asian taco appetizer, super yum!
(5)Michael P.
(5)Jack H.
My absolute fave sushi spot. The crabby tuna appetizer is so good I could easily have it all for myself. But all of the rolls I've had there (have tried almost all of them) have been great. Tried tempura veggies...omg... So good. Great service too. Can't say enough about this place... Like sushi? Go.
(5)S G.
Long story short ..... Halina was our server she was great and the food was fu**ing yummy. I'm a young chef and it takes a lot for me to to say wow and that's all I have to say!! Must try... It's city quality in the burbs .
(5)Rachel B.
Great Great Great sushi! Quick service, nice atmosphere. Best sushi I have found since living here in Hinsdale.
(4)Michael J.
(1)Robert M.
Earned its spot on the Bib Gourmand! Went with a group, so we tried much of the menu. Everything was delicious! Just moving from West Loop, I was looking for places like this in the suburbs. On the hunt for more!
(5)Andrew W.
(5)Denise V.
(4)Jon J.
(3)Imran M.
Food and service were both good. The atmosphere was nice too. We went on the recommendation of a friend who also recommended a few rolls. The rolls weren't on the menu but when we asked about them they were able to prepare them. If we hadn't been told about these hidden rolls we would have missed out.
(4)Susan H.
Nabuki is awesome Great sushi and the environment is wonderful Our server Sharon is fantastic Great suggestions of food
