I use to go here years ago let say about 6 years, I was so let down Friday i stopped in and got a pizza to go, it was not bad but it was not that good on the other hand. I did eat it. Will I go back No. They have fell off a LOT.

The food at Altavilla has always been excellent - the modest setting does not do justice to the well prepared and tasty Italian food --- from salads to pizza to sandwiches to entres. The extremely frustrating problem was with a recent online-placed order.I received n online confirmation of my order. So far so good. An employee by the name of Manny called to insist my credit card payment did not go through --- I immediately called my credit card company who confirmed that all was well with the charge. Manny insisted in a series of calls (after 3 I did not answer the other 7) and emails that they could not get the money and therefore not make the food --- then, after I told him I would report this, he said he could send a driver with the money ?! That never happened nor did I get my food. An hour later I received a customer satisfaction survey about the order... Yes, I responded ... no more word from Altavilla. The charges were on my credit card's statement, which I disputed and the charges after an investigation were removed. You figure it out. A shame - cuz the food is truly good!

If you love garlic, Alta Villa's will not disappoint you with the fresh garlic. Try fresh tomatoes as well. Pick up and delivery available. Dine-in is available, but I don't recommend it. I used to get coupons in the mail, but it's been a long time since I've gotten any.

I like this pizza place. When i am working in Hillside it is my go to place for pizza. The slices are huge and really yummy. For $2 + tax it is a steal. I've also had their panini's they are amazing. Mmmm so fresh, juicy, and tender WOW! Heaven in every bite. I haven't had anything else on their menu but the prices are pretty decent. They accept cash and to use a CC I think it has to be over $10-15, not exactly sure. My only gripe is the workers are sometimes rude and ignore you even though you are standing in front of them. I can see you are on the phone but just acknowledge me, it's not that hard..jeez. Overall, good pizza place.

Pros: Punctual on delivery, alright food Cons: didn't have some of the things I wanted which was on the menu I was at work so I wanted to try some Italian food around here. Called this place up and ordered food for my coworkers and I. Chicken Marsala, manicotti w/ shrimp and my rigatoni w/ diavollo sauce was ordered. I asked for the bread pudding and the tiramisu but couldn't get it. I guess two of my coworkers who just wanted dessert arent going to be eating. My rigatoni was too spicy. I've had diavollo sauce before and thought I was being a bitch about it but I did let others try mine and they all agreed it was a bit too spicy. Chicken marsala didn't taste as sweet as I like but the fact that you guys used the tenderloins was ehh...it would I been nicer if you just pounded out two breasts and call it a day. I'll give this place another try someday. As for now this is what I think of it.

We really like Altavillas pizza. We get the two small pizza with 2 toppings for about $16 with tax. The owner is super friendly and accommodating. Pizzas are great well done and it's a great local pizza place. They are also open Monday's when a lot of others are not, which is nice. Friendly staff and good pizza.

I've been looking for a pretty good inexpensive pizza in this area & this place was recommended to me. We ordered large sausage, pepperoni, mushroom, green pepper pizza. We requested extra sauce, well done. It was cooked perfectly. My family & I will definitely be back!
