Tried this place on a whim- surprisingly good!!! Few items that aren't chicken-based but one would expect that. Elaine liked her brisket so that's a word to the wise among the non-chicken fans.

Had chicken enchiladas, werent bad maybe a little dry, but there was a bone in my enchilada so there's that. Rice and beans ok too. Overall not bad but probably wont go back.

Ordered takeout from Clucker's the other day and it was great. My friend had the quarter clucker (dark meat) with roasted veggies and she loved it. The chicken looked quite juicy and she said it had great flavor. The only thing I noticed was that it didn't appear to have that "Charcoal" look I was expecting. I had the mac and cheese with chicken and it was just alright. I could tell the sauce was not homemade. I bet it is the same stuff they put on their cheese fries. They do put goat cheese on it which gave it a little bit of a zing but nothing to go ga ga over. I would recommend skipping it. The caesar salad we had was really good and was enough to serve 3 as a side. A total must is the bread pudding. I am a total sucker for bread pudding and it was awesome. It was studded with cranberries and they literally doused it in caramel sauce. I could certainly go for some right now :) Previously I have had the roasted veggie salad and it is an excellent option if you are a vegetarian. If you are in Highwood and want to try something new, I think you should give it a try, just stay away from the mac and cheese. Sorry just my opinion. :)

I really like their chicken cars. The chicken is also quite good. I would like to try a few more items on their menu.

My wife and I have been going to Clucker's for 4 years. Including what are children and grandchildren have tried, we have pretty much covered the whole menu. It is all fantastic. The owner is manning the register almost every time we go. The service is always quick and very polite. We are always glad we went. Two of my favorite dishes are the chicken tacos and chicken enchiladas. My wife loves the wings, soups and brick chicken. Try it! And

My son wanted to come here again. He liked his sandwich. I figured I'd get wings since it's a chicken place. Wings were not good. They were room temp and felt a little slimy. The people at the counter are ALWAYS pleasant. I will try one more time....

I'm in the Chicago area for the weekend visiting family. At my cousin's suggestion we went to Cluckers. I had the Clucker burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was ground chicken was perfectly juicy along with BBQ sauce and onions. It was hard to keep the burger together, that was the only downside. The bun was very moist as well. The fries were crinkle cut and not too greasy. They were a little too salty, but not so much as to be overpowering. They came with chipotle mayo for dipping. The customer service was excellent. They came by to check on us twice and refilled our drinks. I would definitely recommend this place to friends who are in the area.

The customer service is phenomenal. The rotisserie chicken was cooked to perfection. We bought the full chicken which came with two sides and tortillas and one side of sauce (our choice of the flavor). The tortillas were slightly raw - cook those a little longer before rolling them in foil. And the chicken itself could have used some more seasoning. It was very plain. The sauce - we ordered the green tomatillo/salsa verde - was good, but lacked any heat (and I believe we were told it was the spiciest). Also, the two small cups of sauce they give you aren't enough for a whole chicken. My husband very much enjoyed the beans. He said they were very flavorful. I ate the rice and thought it was just so-so. I've had better, but it wasn't terrible or inedible. My husband had the Jamaica water and said it was delicious. All in all, I would go back to try some of their other products - but I'm not sure I would recommend this particular dish. I would recommend that the owner go to Lomeli's Rosticeria in Round Lake, Ill. Their chicken is cooked just as well, has much more flavor, and customers are given larger sides and more of them for a cheaper price. I realize that it's not always about portions, but I think it would provide a nice perspective on what other rotisseries are doing in the area and might help Clucker's improve.

Not only is this some of the best food, but the service is outstanding. They quickly accommodated my special needs brother and me when we made last minute changes in our order. If you're looking for good chicken then try their brick roasted chicken it was to die for
(5)Jennifer H.
Cluckers -- makes you want to crow like a rooster or cluck home? While I haven't tried the individual meals, the family meal made me want to cluck home. We got the whole chicken, side of potatoes and beans. It seemed really expensive for what we got. It's not that the food was bad. It was average. Nothing blew us away. And for the price, I can get an $8 turkey from Jewel and some quick sides for a fraction of the cost. This place seems more suited for an individual looking for lunch or dinner. And I'm not ready to write off this place. I'll come back and try an individual plate and report back. But as far as feeding the family, they're asking for way too much money for what you get.
(2)Catherine S.
I eat here pretty often since I live close by and they have great food. I can't even consider getting a chicken quesadilla at one of the mexican restaurants around town because the ones at Clucker's have the best quality chicken. I order carry out online most of the time and it's a very simple process. When I order the chicken tortilla soup the toppings even come in separate containers which is great. The chicken beignets are also very delicious.
(4)Joel E.
Cluckers is a good family restaurant with a great takeout menu. My favorite is the chicken enchilada which is among the best I've ever tasted. The kids menu is small but mighty and my kids love the chicken tenders and chicken Mac and cheese. The owner is very nice and goes out of his way to make customers happy. However, the red eyed demon chicken from hell on top of the cluck mobile scares the crap out of me when I see it at night.
(5)Frank S.
Over the course of several years we have frequently ordered take out from Cluckers. Their food is dependably delicious and wholesome. It is served very quickly and well packaged. Our favorite dishes are: the half chicken; the Caesar Salad with grilled chicken, the chicken soup, the chicken enchiladas; guacamole; and, red beans and rice. Also, the French fries are amazing and the tortillas and barbecue sauces are very good.
(4)Jimmy M.
My wife and I live right down the street from Clucker's and finally figured that we'd try it last week. We ordered a whole chicken, mashed potatoes and red beans and rice. All for about $22. The chicken was awesome and the red beans didn't even need rice. I could eat those beans all day. We ordered online and the food was to the house in about 35 minutes (but, like I said, we live right down the street). I will definately be ordering Cluckers again.
(4)Ai L.
What can I say except Clucker's has the best rotisserie chicken I've ever tasted! So moist, falls off the bone, flavorful and just devine! I also love their pesto sauce and garlic mash potatoes! Hubby loves their buffalo wings. You can tell they take great pride in their food! We have been many times and have not been disappointed. Their chicken enchilada is also to die for! Service is great and this place is one of our regular favorite dinner destinations in the North Shore! Also very kids friendly!
(4)Jennie E.
Some of the best chicken around AND they deliver! Everything I ordered was hot and came within 30 minutes! I had the chicken, red beans and rice, veggies, and mashed. Their tortillas were melt in your mouth goodness and the flavor of the chicken is noteworthy. I was surprised that a relatively fast food restaurant would take time to provide such quality food. The only thing I took issue with was the ratio of red beans to rice. The rice came in a condiment size while the beans in a full container. I will be back and will definitely order again!
(4)Savannah A.
Everythkng is great...Chicken noodle soup is delicious! Don't forget the brownies...yum!
(5)Carolyn F.
Clucker's chicken is amazing, and their roasted veggies are even better. We always get the yellow sauce & the pesto, which are the best of the sauces. Skip the fries and the mac & cheese (save room for the other sides) but everything else is so good I'd still give it 5 stars.
(5)Bill G.
I've eaten here about 3 times now, and here is my synopsis. The chicken enchiladas are oustanding - very tasty and with nice avocado and lettuce on the side. I've had their chicken sandwiches which are adequate. The red rice and beans isn't the familiar cajun style, so keep that in mind when ordering. It is exactly as it says - red beans and then rice. On my most recent visit, I had another great find. The chicken salad wrap was large, unique, and out of this world. They put hard boiled egg in the salad along with some cranberries, or something like it. At any rate, it is the best chicken salad I ever had. My other family members enjoyed the food I brought back to them as well. Service is efficient, if a little gruff. Overall, it's very good and I can't wait to go back for that chicken salad, or perhaps the enchiladas.
(4)Mike P.
Lake County's spin on many of the Pollo el Carbon joints in the city. Think Chicken Hut of Highland Park. Located across Sheridan Road from historic Fort Sheridan, in a not-so-historic strip mall, sits Cluckers. Serving free-range, organic chickens, rotisserie roasted to perfection. The offerings are similar to what you find at city chicken joints of the same ilk. The owner/manger could not have been a nicer guy.
(4)Lauren H.
I was craving chicken wings. Called for pick-up. Had half bbq and half hot. Ranch dressing and celery sticks included. Loved the bbq. I could give or take the hot sauce. Good wings..seemed easier to eat than many wings. I wonder why. Added bleu cheese to my ranch dressing and was a happy clam. Added some sides when I came to pick up. French fries and mac and cheese. Fries were crinkle cut...not really my style, but they weren't for me. For the mac, I was offered to add goat cheese to the top. I almost jumped in delight. Well..it was like a tablespoon dollop of goat cheese. Not good mac...tasted Velveeta-ey. Wouldn't do the mac again. Service was polite, the whole transaction took about 20 minutes. Will definitely be back for wings or to try something new when the mood strikes. I also always forget that they deliver...perhaps one of these days, that little chicken-emblazoned smart car will be whizzing its way over to my house with more wings.
(4)Karen S.
What an amazing meal we had last night! Kids and I dined in and everyone left very full and happy. We ordered sloppy chicken, half chicken and cajun crispy chicken--yummy! The staff was very friendly and efficient. Restaurant was immaculate--- We will be back again and again. Thank you!
(5)Valik S.
This was our first time at Clucker's. We ordered online a Big Rooster with a variety of sauces, sides and for dessert Clucker's bread pudding. A couple of minutes after we finish our online order we got a call that they were out of bread pudding. That's a great service. We pickup our order after 25 minutes and everything was ready. The chicken was delicious I certainly would recommend it
(4)Richard C.
enchiladas here are off the hook out of bounds awesome. the best enchiladas ive ever had. everything else is pretty decent and above the average. high recommended!
(5)Alicia A.
Delicious chicken, reasonable prices, friendly service from people who remember your name and omg fabulous homemade chips! The only thing I would really like to see is a better vegetable selection for sides. The mixed vegetable side is always overcooked and their salad greens are nutritionless which is why I never order the 2350. It says "mixed greens" but really it's basically romaine. True mixed greens would be nice. Overall this is our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking as it's fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. I just wish for a better vegetable selection (and no, corn on the cob does not count- corn is a grain not a veggie!)
(4)Sondrine L.
Cluckers is delicious and fresh and I can get a healthy salad or a (still healthy) biggher chicken dinner, or Mexican specials- lots of options! The only drawback is it's a bit pricey for a takeout/ fast food type place. I feel good eating this food though, vs. hitting the Golden Arches or even Subway.
(4)Linda H.
Could not be better food! Great service and very fast! It's a pleasure to just call and have a great fast homemade dinner ready to take home! The coleslaw is to die for! Homemade dressings! Brick chicken at dinner time is our favorite! Every idem has a edge to it! Linda h.
(5)Michael Y.
I've been going to this place for years... The chicken they serve is top notch. The owner, and employees are very nice as well as professional... I would highly suggest the 2350 salad, it's the best salad I've ever had... Fresh veggies, and a comfortable atmosphere... The soups are superb, and the steak is awesome. Great food!!!!
(4)Stevie G.
Warm inviting friendly atmosphere with delicious fresh food. A real neighborhood delight. Debs desserts are a special treat!
(4)Alison E.
Santo Cielo I love this place! The chicken is tender, moist and delicious. Peanut slaw has to be the best coleslaw I've had in a really long time. It's not too spicy, creamy, and the peanut adds a delectable crunch. In my opinion it beats any coleslaw from Sunset or Whole Foods. I love the 2350 salad. Clucker's has the best poppy seed dressing I've ever had- and it's tough to find a good poppy seed dressing. Poppy seed dressings tend to run too thin and too sweet, but this dressing is thick and has the perfect balance of sweetness just like puppies. Yes, I referenced puppies. My other favorite is the chicken-on-slaw sandwich for reasons I mentioned earlier. Kaiser roll is the perfect base. Service is friendly and fast. They have a "frequent feeders" card if you end up going there enough that saves money after the 10th or 12th visit (can't remember). Side note: My sister and I were wondering why the card wasn't called "frequent clucker" card and then common sense hit me when I tried to say it 5 times fast.... The only reason this place has 4 stars instead of 5 are the prices- especially for the wings which are so-so. If you order hot wings, keep in mind they are REALLY hot.
(4)Kevin R.
I went in here for the first time last night after reading the yelp reviews. I found the service to be fast and friendly. I took a recommendation from a Yelp Reviewer who said to try the Cobb Salad. I would have to agree, it's certainly one of the best Cobb Salads I've ever had. I'm usually in the area for work and it's hard to find a healthy fast food joint where I can sit down to eat. This place has healthy options and I"m looking forward to being a frequent customer.
(5)Ashley S.
I love Cluckers! I have been a customer for years. Everything is great. The chicken chili and salads are my go to items. I recently had Cluckers cater a staff party at work and everyone could not stop raving about the food. Everything arrived on time, piping hot, and delicious. The management worked with me for weeks helping me create the custom menu. They entire experience was amazing! I can't wait to have them cater my next event!
(5)J M.
Cluckers is a solid choice for lunch or dinner. Its fast, its fresh, the restaurant is clean, the employees are nice, there are healthy options, food is quite tasty and the portions and pricing are good. All the salads are delicious - my favorite being the Cajun Crispy Salad. The Cajun Crispy sandwich and the Enchiladas are also top on my list. I also do enjoy seeing their chicken-mobiles driving around with glowing red eyes.
(4)Sydney D.
So delicious! I'm not even a huge chicken fan, but this stuff is so juicy, the sauces and sides are amazing, brisket is unbelievable and their huge salad and poppy dressing are perfect. My only complaint is that it isn't 2 feet from my house.
(5)Adriane P.
On the North Shore seeing a chick mobile full of saucy birds and a cock head driving isn't unusual. But this one stood out. A mobile food truck with a big rooster head on the roof and packed with hot roasted chicken sounds intriguing. I didn't get to try it until my friend invited me over and he ordered a selection for dinner. The charcoal grilled chicken wasn't as juicy as I hoped and lacked charcoal marks so it was disappointing but serviceable. My pal liked it much more. The red beans & rice wasn't as seasoned as I would like and could have been heartier. When I say seasoning, I don't mean spice (though that could be good) I mean herbs and a richer and fresher stock. Garlic smashed potatoes I didn't really taste the garlic. They weren't as bland as many chicken joints. So there was some cream and ya could see they were hand smashed. I liked these more than Will but would have put some Irish butter or something on had I my druthers. We finished with the bread pudding which was good. I would try it again. There's a full menu of things to order and they might have tweaked what we had. Plus I wanna know if that truck crows when it honks.
(3)Mike B.
Best enchiladas I have ever had........and I have had a lot of them. Phenomenal salads also.
(5)Holly L.
The salads are delicious! Tried the Chop Chop tonight. Delicious!! Generous and fresh!
(5)Andy P.
The food was delicious. The service at a superficial level was decent. Upon ordering chicken tenders and chicken mac n cheese a couple months ago, I found that the Mac n cheese was without chicken, which I paid a few dollars extra for. I didn't mind, because the food was still good, but I mentioned it in the automatic quality survey email. I was surprised and impressed that the owner, Reed (?), called me within an hour to follow up and offer a free chicken mac n cheese in my next order. He was possible the nicest food service member I have encountered. Today, I took the owner up on his offer and called in another order of chicken mac n cheese and tenders. This time I found A PLASTIC LID inside my mac n cheese!!! I called in about it, just to inform the staff that someone in their crew made a pretty serious mess up. I repeated myself to the manager, only to be hung up on. All in all, delicious food, OUTSTANDING OWNER, terrible management, and unacceptable attention to detail.
(2)Jack G.
Great place. Their salads and quesadillas are good but the main event is the chicken parm but over mashed potatoes instead of noodles. It's not on the menu but the old man will make it. Says it's on the secret menu. He's a good dude for sure try it
(5)Jay D.
Man do they know how to grill some chicken! Yum! The sides are delicious. Will definitely be back again :)
(5)Kim B.
To be honest, I didn't enjoy the chicken here as much as I did the sides. I ordered "The Mother Hen" special over the phone and it was packaged perfectly to-go. The entire meal only cost $19 and included a whole chicken, 2 slaws, 2 sides (garlic smashed reds, red beans & rice), tortillas and 2 sauces (Clucker's style, BBQ). The chicken was definitely juicy but lacked the charcoal flavor I was looking for. Despite that, I didn't feel the chicken needed either of the sauces. The Clucker's style sauce was WAY too sweet (I felt like I was pouring pure honey on my chicken). The sides were both delicious -- especially the garlic smashed reds. Also, take my advice and order the corn on the cob. They offer regular corn OR Mexican-style (I ordered the Mexican-style). Delicious! To top off the meal (because obviously this wasn't enough food..) I ordered a brownie, family cookie bag and Clucker's bread pudding. The brownie was my least favorite -- it was too chocolate-y and covered in powdered sugar. The cookies were good but I only wish they offered chocolate chip instead of oatmeal. But the best of the desserts came when I tried the bread pudding. The caramel sauce was so good I came close to drinking it out of the styrofoam cup it came from.
(4)Jeff B.
Unless you live close you probably don't know about Cluckers. Indeed I had to have a local take me. The food is fresh, excellently prepared, fairly priced and the restaurant is clean. The people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the chicken kabob and will be back soon.
(4)Justin S.
This place is pretty good. Not the best I ever been to, but there isn't anything better around here. I had the Chicken kabob which was served with rice. It was really good. My wife had the 1/2 clucker with fries. The fries were not very good, but chicken was good. I would suggest getting another side besides the fries. Heard they are great, but my kids wanted fries, so we got fries.
(4)Albert L.
The brick chicken was awesome!!! Also had the homemade chips with dipping sauce... Nice space and very friendly staff. Will definitely be back again.
(5)MiaLynn B.
Delicious food!!! I am a fan of their (dark) chicken and homemade chips, red salsa and their crispy chicken salad!! Very tasty!!!
(5)Elvin C.
We were probably first customers at 11:15 a.m. on Monday and we got the whole chicken (Mother Hen). So with that in mind...this chicken should have been sitting around very long, but for me I really expect chicken professionally done to be moist white meat and dark to be done. It may not be easily done at home without practice, but at a restaurant consistency should be the rule. So while yes, the whole chicken, white and dark were falling off the bone, that went along with white meat being bone dry and still the dark meat being more done than needed. (I'm slapping myself now for not having gone to the staff and asked for a replacement chicken since that is an option with dine-in vs. delivery. If we give Clucker's another chance - I'll keep this in mind. Moist white meat would immediately boost my review to 5 stars). Sides are right on and service with real plates and silverware is nice touch. Got the grilled veggies and garlic mashed potatoes as sides. In terms of drinks at the fountain, they had a watermelon ice tea (tasted though like a tamarindo) as well as jamaica (very sweet though but easily balanced with ice and water). We got the Clucker's (honey mustard) and the Italian (pesto) dipping sauces. The pesto was right on for us, the Clucker's would be better for us if it was more savory in balance to the sweet. Price isn't bad given the whole chicken with sides for where we were was $20 split between three adults and one child. Another note though browsing reviews here...is that more folks do mention their individual (non rotisserie chicken) meals with good reviews while rotisserie eaters give it a rather average (supermarket/chain being the standard). Also keep in mind that their chickens will seem smaller to you than those you might find at other chicken places or the supermarket. If this due to their sourcing for more quality "natural" chicken, it was wasted when it was overcooked. I can trade off quantity for quality and would understand that having a consistent average sized chicken would be important to getting consistent cooking results, but that didn't pay off here.
(3)Jim M.
Okay, the food is very good, the guy at the counter today was VERY nice and helpful, and the place was very clean... the slightly high prices would have been okay too if it weren't for the small main-course portions. I'm in town visiting my home and my Mom took me here for lunch, because she loves their "2350 Salad." Her salad looked really good. I ordered the "Quarter clucker with white meat" with their fries as my side. My only issue was that the pile of fries was BIG, but the chicken was pretty tiny. I guess it's my fault, as I could have ordered the "Half a chicken"... I dunno. So this review really is a 3-1/2 and maybe I should have spent the $12 for the half chicken of white meat? I dunno... didn't blow me away.
(3)Tucker S.
I ate there knowing from the various times seeing the Cluckers car passing my by on the road, so I knew this place was very popular. For going for the first time if unsure what to order, get the chicken casadeas. Very good! But don't get it if you want to experience the full chicken experience. If looking for something mostly chicken would try the brisket or get something like the wings, on the appetizer list. It's probably the best place to go if your looking for quality, non fast food chicken. The only bad thing about this place is eating there. It's not a unhappy environment, it's just the way the dinner is created is that the cold drift from the door gets everyone cold at the table.
(4)Joanna H.
The enchiladas and chicken caesar salad were very good! Quick delivery, definitely ordering again.
(4)Dan G.
Food is great. I've never met a business owner like this guy. Never says thank you. Kinda inappropriate the way he treats his employees in front of customers. No denying the food is really good and a lot of times that's all that matters but this man is full of it. Fair warning..
(2)Eric J.
Eat here and you won't be sorry. Everything on the menu is excellent!
(5)Ralph E.
The food here is good, but uneven. Sometimes great, others ok. The chicken can be quite good. But there are times is very average. Sides are good. Clean place with nice people. Seems a little pricy, but not overly so.
(3)Russ K.
I had a service issue...but the chicken was awesome. Loved the tortillas with the chicken. Read on and you'll see how they totally took care of me after a mistake. So, tonight I ordered for the whole family...the "Coop." 40 bucks later. On the phone I specifically asked about the tortillas...how many do I get? I pay...drive the 20 minutes home...tear open the order...no tortillas! I call.,...they say they can't hear me (I'm on a land line!) I call back...the manger's response to my extreme disappointment and anger... "Do you want me to send the tortillas to your house?" He sounded put out. No apology...no offer for anything else to make up for my inconvenience...no acnowledgement of my frustration that even if he sends them...we'll either be done eating or it will be ice cold. I do ask him to send them...hey, I paid for the darn things. I still held out hope that there would be an "I'm sorry" coming..perhaps a bag of cookies or something. NOPE. How dare I complain. BUT, after I sent a message to the facebook page, the owner personally called me to apologize and he offered to buy me dinner. He must have looked up my phone number and home address from my order. The next day, There were rice krispie treats and a free dinner coupon waiting for me at my house!!! Awesome service ! I'm sold for life! Thank you.
(5)Luke S.
I'm a huge fan. This has become a regular Sunday night feast for my family. Even though we live up in Glencoe we make the trek out to Highwood to pick up Cluckers. The chicken is juice and perfectly flavored. The 2350 salad is one of my favorites in the area. They give Little Ricky's up in Winnetka a run for their money with that salad. I also really like the feel of the restaurant. You can't go wrong with a local family owned eatery. I need to try some more menu items, but so far I'm on the Cluckers bandwagon.
(5)Liz S.
The two best things are the rotisserie chicken and the peanut slaw. The sweet potato fries are good, best eaten when hot (they don't travel all that well). The best value is to get one of their family meals for takeout. We had the Big Rooster (1 1/2 chickens and some sides), which was just enough for 4 people, maybe a little light. It was a bit confusing to have rolled up tortillas and sauces to go with the meal (rather than rolls or biscuits), but they were tasty nonetheless. It's good - not outstanding - but tasted healthy, and the meat was very tender and moist. It would be great for an impromptu get-together, no-cook Sunday night, or picnic meal for Ravinia.
(3)Eric H.
We are big fans of Bandera, a rotisserie chicken and general American cuisine spot located on Michigan Ave. While up in the north suburbs, we had a chance to try this place and were quite impressed with the quality of the chicken and the depth of the menu. We did carry out but it definitely looked like a place I would go for lunch if I lived in the area. They also had Mexican-style corn on the cob featured on their menu which we didn't get to try but will certainly pick up the next time.
(4)Bella S.
I really like this place. I think it's because I can go with my family meaning my two sometimes picky young children and my sometimes picky husband (ever since he started watching cook shows he thinks he knows food now lol) and we all eat and almost always really like our food. That being said, it is a bit pricey but I think we get what we pay for, the quality of the food is wonderful as everything we eat always seems fresh. I recommend the tortilla soup, sans the heavy dollop of crema on top. It's really yummy and my daughter loves the BBQ wings. Not a fan of the mac n cheese or turkey burger, but I do like those homemade potato chips and salads here. The only dressing I care for is the green (pesto?) dressing. The other dressings I tried tasted too mayonnaisy for me. The enchiladas are good and their specials are usually good so keep an eye out for those. Thanks for reading and hope you like it as much as my family does! I know the first time I tried it, I was not crazy about the family meals because I felt for $40+ I should have gotten a lot more food. But it had potential, I went back and tried other menu items and I am so glad I did because it is our go-to spot for our fast food fix.
(5)Jasmine S.
Great gourmet fast food - Rotisserie chicken is juicier than fried chicken. Winter Special has tender Beef brisket and Chicken Kebabs. My friends all liked the Enchiladas. I thing this place make most items from scratch - including the awesome slaws and grilled veggie. They did a great job and keep the restaurant really clean even when they are real busy.
(4)Olga D.
This place is a great new addition to our neighborhood. My husband and I get take out from there once ever few weeks, and it's always good. My favorite is the turkey burger, and my husband loves their chicken chili! A bit pricey for the quantity of food that you get, but all dishes are really good and tasty. Thumbs up!
(5)Anthony S.
Food was extremely good. The broasted chicken and the cranberry chicken salad we're better than expected. I'll be coming back here again. Can't wait!
(4)D b.
Tried this out for the first time and it was a pleasant surprise, Facets of fast food and fine dining Order upfront with some nice assistance on choices for the first-timer. get your own drinks and food is brought to you real plates/silverware, fast and attentive sit down service. We had the chicken enchiladas and they rival any of the best ones you would find. You can really taste all of the flavors with the chicken itself remaining the star...., fresh, juicy and great taste.. A real find if you can look past the ''' fast food like and strip mall location. A gem

They have the best wings in Highwood/HP area. Tried their other items and were alright. Was not extremely impressed with chicken. Was moist but didn't have the charcoal flavor I had hoped for. Try their fire wings, not as hot as other fire wings but still have some nice kick and are good sized. Also, it is a bit pricey.

OMG~ I'm hooked on the Grilled Veggie Salad with the Cluck!! First off, it's really too big to eat all at once...not sure what the best part is...the grilled veggies, the goat cheese, the pesto vinaigrette or the homemade mini bran muffin that accompanies the salad~ hmmm It's all Yummy!! Definitely NOT just the hum drum lettuce salad with grilled chicken!! I think it's value well received~

Super nice owner! Great fresh healthy food. The 2350 slalad is the best cobb style salad Ever! The mashed potatoes are fantastic. The Quesedas are very good. The wings are OK. Nice place to take out or eat in. They should sell beer and wine to complete the experience.

I was going to give this place one star (or less if it was an option) but half way through the meal had to raise my rating. Anyway: We werent going to go to Clucker's for lunch. But the sushi place to the left and the chinese place to the right were closed. We were hungry. Clucker's was conveniently located in between and open. The guy at the front was slow, slow, and painfully slow. We placed and order and asked for ranch on the side. The guy at teh front almost had us draw a diagram as to why we'd ask for such a thing. Really. We were wondering the same ourselves after we convinced him to just give us the dressing. I got chicken fajitas. They came with 4 tortillas. I asked to get some more and was told I'd have to pay extra for each additional one. I've never (and I mean never ever ) had to pay for an extra tortilla. Ever. My fajitas came with a side of shredded cheese that upon closer inspection turned out to be shredded molded cheese. We coughed up the courage to address it with the guy in the front (based on the ranch dressing discussion we weren't certain he'd get what's wrong with having molded cheese). We were right. After some convincing, he took the cheese back and brought back a new cup, saying that this one "should be fine". He also was certain that all the food was fresh. I guess he has his own definition of the word 'ALL' . We were the only two in the establishment and I guess the owner and the guy in the front heard us using the word "review" mutliple times in conversation, so one of them came up to us and refunded my fajitas and brought us a desert on the house. Mold free. Thus, 2 stars. Admitting you're wrong is half the solution. Getting rid of molded food would be the other half but let's be honest, he's still probably trying to figure out why we asked for that ranch dressing on the side.....he needs some time for that.

We love this place. Even though you would think that it's a little far from Glenview, well worth the drive. The chicken is hormone free, cage free and delicious. The owner is an older man who recognizes us each time we go there and makes sure our allergy concerns are taken care of. The flavor on this chicken is out of this world. The menu is actually quite large and satisfies even my kid who is a very picky eater. You have to try the Cajun crispy chicken sandwich, perfect spice. Oh and enchiladas with that green sauce you have to try it. We love this place.

Excellent food. Got take out and it was wonderful.
(5)Perrin D.
I adore Clucker's, through and through. The chicken enchiladas there are better than any I've had anywhere else, by far. (Be sure you order them "my way" with the whole wheat tortillas ... mmm.) You really can't go wrong with any of the dishes, but the salads are really extraordinary too. The secret is their ridiculously juicy and delicious chicken. Even though you order at the counter, you're presented with carefully and artfully prepared food, and nothing is warmed over or mass produced. Oh, and Deb's desserts are preposterously delicious. I've brought countless friends there, and they all love it too. Mad props for delivering all the way to Deerfield too.
(5)Lisa B.
My family loves it here. I love their chicken and salads and my kids love their chicken tenders. It's nice to see them actually use real chicken and not processed, frozen pieces. Reid and his wife could not be nicer. Great casual place to go with the kids.
(4)L H.
Good food - it's not just chicken, and steak is tasty, too. Santa Maria plate is very generous. Appetizers can be paired with a side for smaller portions. Gourmet meets fast food - order at the counter and delivered to your table.
(4)C S.
The food is all right -- some of the dishes are downright tasty, like the peanut slaw and rotisserie chicken. The problem is that service is incredibly slow. This place is, to a large extent, geared toward people who want to pick up a warm, ready-to-eat dinner on the way home after work. Which is great. But twice now they've told me my chicken would be ready in 20 minutes, only to keep me waiting for at least 45. No apology per se -- once, they offered to deliver the food, but wouldn't guarantee a delivery time, so that was no good. I won't be back.

(5)Karen C.
My son wanted to come here again. He liked his sandwich. I figured I'd get wings since it's a chicken place. Wings were not good. They were room temp and felt a little slimy. The people at the counter are ALWAYS pleasant. I will try one more time....

(5)Emily T.
(4)Liz P.
I really like their chicken cars. The chicken is also quite good. I would like to try a few more items on their menu.
(4)Andy P.
(4)Carolyn F.
Clucker's chicken is amazing, and their roasted veggies are even better. We always get the yellow sauce & the pesto, which are the best of the sauces. Skip the fries and the mac & cheese (save room for the other sides) but everything else is so good I'd still give it 5 stars.
(4)Bill G.
(4)Mick B.
Tried this place on a whim- surprisingly good!!! Few items that aren't chicken-based but one would expect that. Elaine liked her brisket so that's a word to the wise among the non-chicken fans.
(4)Jay B.
Had chicken enchiladas, werent bad maybe a little dry, but there was a bone in my enchilada so there's that. Rice and beans ok too. Overall not bad but probably wont go back.
(3)Elvin C.
(3)George S.
Try it! And
(5)Michal'n E.
(3)Cat M.
Not only is this some of the best food, but the service is outstanding. They quickly accommodated my special needs brother and me when we made last minute changes in our order. If you're looking for good chicken then try their brick roasted chicken it was to die for
(5)Jennie E.
(5)Jeff B.
Unless you live close you probably don't know about Cluckers. Indeed I had to have a local take me. The food is fresh, excellently prepared, fairly priced and the restaurant is clean. The people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the chicken kabob and will be back soon.
(4)Savannah A.
Everythkng is great...Chicken noodle soup is delicious! Don't forget the brownies...yum!
(5)Emily S.

(3)Linda H.
Could not be better food! Great service and very fast! It's a pleasure to just call and have a great fast homemade dinner ready to take home! The coleslaw is to die for! Homemade dressings! Brick chicken at dinner time is our favorite! Every idem has a edge to it! Linda h.
(5)Lauren H.
(4)Michael Y.
(4)Comicbookman B.
Super nice owner! Great fresh healthy food. The 2350 slalad is the best cobb style salad Ever! The mashed potatoes are fantastic. The Quesedas are very good. The wings are OK. Nice place to take out or eat in. They should sell beer and wine to complete the experience.

Thank you.

This place is a great new addition to our neighborhood. My husband and I get take out from there once ever few weeks, and it's always good. My favorite is the turkey burger, and my husband loves their chicken chili! A bit pricey for the quantity of food that you get, but all dishes are really good and tasty. Thumbs up!

Food was extremely good. The broasted chicken and the cranberry chicken salad we're better than expected. I'll be coming back here again. Can't wait!

The enchiladas and chicken caesar salad were very good! Quick delivery, definitely ordering again.

Food is great. I've never met a business owner like this guy. Never says thank you. Kinda inappropriate the way he treats his employees in front of customers. No denying the food is really good and a lot of times that's all that matters but this man is full of it. Fair warning..

My family loves it here. I love their chicken and salads and my kids love their chicken tenders. It's nice to see them actually use real chicken and not processed, frozen pieces. Reid and his wife could not be nicer. Great casual place to go with the kids.

Good food - it's not just chicken, and steak is tasty, too. Santa Maria plate is very generous. Appetizers can be paired with a side for smaller portions. Gourmet meets fast food - order at the counter and delivered to your table.
