The restaurant is pretty much terrible frozen crap from sysco that depending on the cook may be served edible but more than likely will not be. Pretty standard terrible harvard quality but with the added exception of terrible customer service. I ordered a cheeseburger and received it cold. I asked the waitress to warm it up and received it back. I had a few bites to find the center was frozen and raw. I pointed it out to the waitress and she agreed that it was completely uncooked in the center. She did not have the ability to take it off my tab but was able to comp me a dessert which I passed on as I was not in the mood to eat at that point. Months later I stopped in due to some friends being in town. I ordered a pitched of beer. The beer ran out 1/2 way through filling and they asked me to wait while they changed it. It took 20-25 minutes for them to get it changed and they then proceeded to top off the swill from the old keg with new beer and still charged me $10 a pitcher which is ridiculously overpriced even if it was all fresh beer. Every other bar I have been in dumps out the pitcher and starts with a new one and most give you the pitcher for free to make up for the hassle of waiting. I guess they believe people are really there for the ambiance or they are so deep in the red they can't afford to dump out flat warm beer. Terrible/dangerously prepared food, awful customer service slightly below the very low bar set by restaurants in harvard.

I had a really good time here last night. We had a large group of about 10, including 3 young kids. The atmosphere was very cool. It seemed everywhere I looked I could catch the NFL playoff game that was on. Very clean and modern sports bar. Much nicer than I expected, given the location (middle of nowhere USA). The service was very good. Our server checked on us exactly when we needed him to and was very accommodating for all the kid requests. I ordered the Chili Dog with fries. The Chili was good and the dog was huge and grilled! The fries were just ok (your typical freezer fry)...I can see this being an easy change/upgrade for them to make. Many in the group ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich & they all loved it. My Dad ordered the Chili and thought that is was really good...he even threw some of the fries in (I mean who does that?). Another ordered the Club Sandwich & it looked really good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a spot to catch a game, have some drinks with better than average bar food. They have 2 pool tables, dart boards & a shuffle board table (reminded me of a college bar down in Carbondale). We didn't have a chance to stay long and play around, but I easily could have had a good time if we did. Props to my sister for taking us here, she is slowly becoming a regular @ Stingerz ;) Stingerz is a perfect name for this place, given the High School mascot is a Hornet & it is super close to the school. Nice spot before and/or after a game!

Do they make 1/2 a star? I'll be nice and start with something good: -Clean, comfy, and plenty of space; especially for a Harvard restaurant - Modern -Tvs for watching the game Notice how it doesn't saying anything about the staff or food.... And now for the Bad: -The Staff -The Service -The Food As a regular customer I use to always recommend this place to family and friends. Unfortunately, I will no longer do so. The food use to be the big draw for eating here as well as the atmosphere, especially for a restaurant in Harvard. I believe in second chances and understand that problems arise at any time at a restaurant. With that said however, something has to be said when it is constantly a bad experience. On several occasions my friends and I have had to return our food because it was cold, not the right order, or undercooked. Recently the level of customer service, or lack of, came into play. My order was wrong and the gentleman taking my call did not seem to care but still was nice enough to put the order through; clearly thought we were lying or wrong. When I went in he tried explaining what had happened and I also explained that, that was in fact not what we ordered. At that point the waitress who took the order interjected, pointing her fingering at me, and telling me that my coworker ordered it wrong. She flat out said that she assumed that we wanted one thing so she didn't ask. As someone who works in the food industry, you always ask. You also don't wave your finger and bob your head at a customer and be straight up rude. At this point I will say that on both ends our voices were raised all the while guests dined and the manager looked on without saying a word. The conversation ended with the waitress waving her fingers, storming into the bathroom, and saying she had work to do. This is just the type of service that anyone wants right? After that I walked out and nothing further was said by their staff; no apologizes, no nothing. I defiantly will not be telling my friends, family, or anyone else to go there. Never again; worst dining experience and I was not even eating there. Oh, and this was putting it nicely.

Great chicken wing special on Thursdays and they were very good wings. One of our group ordered a hamburger and fries that arrived cold. The server took it back and they obviously refried the fries. It was a new burger, but it was raw - not rare - raw. The server said she would talk to the cook, but said she wasn't allowed to refund anything ordered. She did offer a dessert, but who would want to eat more food after a sickening experience? Very inconsistent food and it was obvious only one server was on duty and she was also functioning as the bartender. We won't be returning. Too many problems with food quality to risk wasting money on food that was not edible. Great approach to customer service with their "you ordered it, we can't cook it, but you pay for it anyway."

Note: I have never eaten here, just got my drink on. This place is in the town I grew up in so since it has opened I have been here a few times when I've been in H town. Over all, it's a fun place, but the bartenders are not as attentive as they should be. Maybe because I'm not a regular there, but every time I have been there I have stood at the bar (when it seemed like I was the only one waiting for a drink) and the bartender in daisy dukes has walked by me like 7 times before bothering to ask what I want to drink. I was there on Saturday and this happened again, but the service did get better as the night went on. Or maybe the vodka redbulls I was drinking made me lose my sense of time. I would like to say that the DJ here is da bomb. Yes, I just said da bomb. He plays all those 80's and 90's hits you love and throws in songs that you even may have forgot about, but love. He plays new stuff too (think Lady Ga Ga) and there are videos playing on the TVs that he mixes with clips from movies we all know and love. They also have great drink specials, especially when you're coming from the city. They have darts, pool, and shuffle board and they also have a great outdoor patio. All in all this place is a great addition to Harvard and whenever I'm there to visit I'll be in.

This restaurant has the best American food in town I eat very often there so I highly recommend.

Stingers is only getting 4 stars because it is the only place like it in Harvard. Its a good place to meet up with some old friends and have a few drinks. Pros: Cheap ass drinks. Friendly Faces. Great Atmosphere. Walking distance. It's in Harvard.. Big plus! Cons: Service is so slow if you are not a regular..(sorry I no longer live in town...:( Gets a bit too crowded Probably a lot of bar fights considering it's in Harvard. Watch out you out of towners. Really though, go check it out. First of it's kind in Harvard. We needed a great bar, not another diner. Thanks for noticing this and doing something about it!

Food is very boring and over priced for what it is. Same with alcohol. The only reason I'd go here is because my friends drag me...and the dollar apple pie shots are amazing. I miss the food from Adrianas....

Very bad they had no soup no ribs, the fried chicken was hard. The worst dinner ever. The cheif excuse to the waitress was he didn't feel like cooking anything . not much to offer.

Walked in and maybe 6 tables were full which should of been an indicator for Mother's Day. One waitress just looked at us so we sat ourselves. Had to ask for additional menus, silverware and when we ordered nachos we were not given any plates. The waitress was nice but no where to be found during our visit. Asked to change a $10 bill and 15 minutes went by and I had to go up to the cash register to get my change for the ten that she was walking around with. Good thing we didn't want refills because the waitress was no where to be found. Had to ask for a container to go too! Worst service ever, mediocre food! Common sense needs to be taught to the staff.

I'd rather have McDonald's... This place was horrible. We went there for lunch maybe 6 tables in the place 2 servers waiting on tables. Ours was sweet but the other was intolerable. Got an appetizer and had to go to the bar and steal silver wear and plates in order to eat it. Refills were a struggle to get. Service was horrible. And then I see the waitress behind the kitchen (since if you go back into the bathrooms you can see straight thru into the kitchen) eating and not waiting on her tables. Then her brother comes back into the kitchen and starts leaning on things and chatting with her. Very unsanitary and against health code. Had to hunt down our waitress for the bill and change. I wouldn't even stop there to use the bathroom again...

Stopped in for lunch after a day of antique shopping. After all of that I needed a cold one. The waitress was very cool. She was friendly and held it together even when she got busy. The burgers were very good. The cheese curds were just OK. We need some good old cheddar cheese curds not the mozzarella one everyone has. Overall a cool bar.

We ate here last night with friends and 1 child and were very pleased, food was very good, and drinks even better. We will definitely be back.

The food is not edible. If you like frozen/reheated/processed foods go for it. The atmosphere is a typical bar. If you are coming for drinks you will be fine. Service is good and people are friendly.

Met a local in town who we asked where a good place to eat was.. Hesitantly, although not a lot of options in a small town it seems, he said stingerz. Gave it a shot. Optimistic about the place initially.. The service quality wasn't that great. The waitress seemed to be avoiding our small table of 4. My dad ended up having to go over to her and asking for a beer as well as some sugar. My niece ordered a kids meal which a drink is included. The drink ended up on the bill? Saw that coming with the horrible attitude of the waitress. She was not friendly at all. Food was ok. Service was worth never returning.

Have been here a few times for lunch & have to say the food is nothing special. Was there recently for lunch & had the worst service. The owner/manager saw us enter the establishment & seat ourselves. After sitting there for 5 minutes with no evidence of a bartender or server, we got our own menus. At least another 5 minutes pass & STILL no server is seen. Finally approached the owner/manager & ask for a server. Within a minute a young woman appears at our table with the WORST attitude. Really?? Sorry to bother you!! Her attitude & service never did improve even though we were friendly & trying to tell ourselves "maybe she's having a bad day".
