Earlier today I had lunch catered from here at the local utility I visited, and had the tenderloin sandwich. That was very tasty. So, I decided to try out dinner here. Is it hard to screw up pork chops? I wonder about that, since I don't recall eating particularly bad pork chops. Well, the grilled pork chops here were rather delicious, dipped in some kind of apple glaze. I cannot say that the atmosphere at Wooded Hills is particularly interesting, but perhaps it was an off-night here. I'm not a big fan of corrugated tin on ceilings or walls, but many TVs are always a plus.

This is the best food and service I have ever had in Harrisburg. Our waiter was very attentive. The chef made buttered noodle for our picky kids. My catfish was very good and the green beans were amazing. There are many choices on here for vegetarians and even vegan. They have a portobello mushroom sandwich too.

Love this place! Great atmosphere with big screen tvs. There is often a band playing on weekend nights. The prices aren't too bad for food and beverages. I have been here a handful of times and each dish that I ordered was delicious. I have been served the ribeye 1x and grilled chicken 3x. Others with me have ordered the ribeye sandwich, blackened fish filets, and the hamburger. Everyone was impressed. This is our new "go to place" when family visits southern Illinois. Definitely recommend!

Really good food that is hand made at the restaurant. The wait staff is friendly and accomodating. The food actually has flavor!

Decent draught beer selection. Food selection is predominantly sandwiches and burgers, along with a few real entrées. The wife and I had the fried cheese with sriracha sour cream, which was good, followed by pork chops and blackened chicken nachos. The supposedly apple marinaded chops were only about a 1/4 inch thick and tasted primarily of Lawry's seasoning salt, but were tender and cooked to perfection. The nachos were made with ¿flour? chips and covered with a nacho cheese mixture similar to velveta and rotel party dip, sour cream, salad, and a tender and well seasoned blackened chicken breast, which may or may not have been processed meat. Over all, I recommend that you come for the beer and leave for the food unless you're drunk enough to no longer care.

Atmosphere was great. Food was great, especially the appetizers. Service sucked. The hostess pretty much did everything rather than our waitress and they WERE NOT busy. Worst tip I've left in awhile.

Two out of the three times I've eaten here the food has been excellent. Do not recommend going on a Monday night.
