It's a LJS's and KFC in the same location. LJS's has less-than-adequate fast food seafood. I really think Captain D's is a far better selection. Pay a couple more $$$'s for decent fish and chips.

If i could give half a star i would. I was excited to come here before my big 6 flags day but that was quickly ruined by a disgusting dine in area and terrible service. The only thing saving this place is that they can at least make the food correctly. The building itself looks new and nice. However, its obvious there is no upkeep. There were spider webs in nearly all the corners and all the tables were tacky and sticky as if they were barely cleaned at all. There was one table that had trashed with food and garbage everywhere and it wasnt cleaned the entire time i was here and they werent busy at all. I stood in line for a few minutes which is no big deal, but what WAS the big deal was the employee who practically shoved me out of the way when he was on his way behind the counter from being outside. His name was Babar. He just looked and acted like he didnt want to be there. He gruffly asked if i ordered yet. And i said no. Then he took my order, no smiles, no hello, not even a shred of politeness. So i give him my card to pay and he swiped it so furiously a few times banging my card against the counter that the corner of my credit card now had a lovely chip in it. The food came quickly (another point) but we had to ask for condiments. And with the amount of food we had four little packets of tartar sauce just wasnt going to cut it. When we asked for some more tartar sauce we received two more packets. Thats a little stingy for a company that makes how much selling fried food? The soda machine looked dirty and the nozzles looked like they've never been cleaned. Overall the place was dull and a little depressing, and the customer service could be a lot better. A simple hello goes a long way to keeping the customer happy. This is one place i will NOT be coming back to on my frequent 6 flags and other gurnee visits.

Every time I use the drive-up I have some issue. This time no medium drink...DUH!!! Before I really realized it I was already down the street and didn't want to turn around. The food at LJS is always hard and greasy. This meal was no exception. Its too bad LJS is so far away from my house, or I would try a stand alone branch My stomach within ten minutes of eating this meal is already making funny sounds...not good.

Came here while waiting for our room to be ready at Key Lime Cove.. Every single table was dirty, while workers were standing around talking. There was only one other couple in there besides us, so it's not like they were super busy. They had more than enough opportunity to clean tables... On top of that, they didn't give us any sauce, tartar, nor ketchup, and we had fries, breaded chicken, shrimp, and fish. For a fast food place, the food was ok but they could keep the place a little more eat in customer friendly, and maybe they'd get more customers.

This place is absolutely ridiculous. Always under staffed and nothing is ready. My wife and myself went there on Friday the 20th of February being lent and they had maybe 150 pieces of chicken cooked but no fish. Stood in line for about 30 minutes and still no service they were more concerned about taking care of the drive-thruand paid no attention to anybody inside That was ordering food. People just started leaving left and right nobody that worked there really cared. This place is always liked this people calling in sick I think they should be fired if they can't make it to work and you people need a new manager. If there are no changes you're going to be losing a lot of business.

It's the first Friday in lent at 530. Walked in with just a few customers in line. So I thought this isn't so bad. Well after 15 minutes standing there the same couple is still at the register waiting to finish ordering. The cashier was now the cook too and had walked away from them saying he was putting down their fish. The couple asked for the manager. He came over and the lady said why do you keep helping the drive-through lane and we are all still standing here. He says I can't help it 2 people called out. We all were upset telling them let the drive thru wait. The cook came out because she heard all of us customers complaining about the terrible service. She started raising her voice at the woman saying I am the only cook here and you're going to have to wait another 20 minutes for your fish! They had so much chicken cooked and no one wanted it! Many customers were frustrated and walked out. After a total of 30 minutes so did we. I cannot believe how rude the cook was and how unapologetic the manager was. This is not our first bad experience here. Slow service most times and have even run out of hush puppies and have unprofessional employees. I will be calling corporate Monday.
