All the food I've had here is very good. I love how it is seasoned. I highly reccomend anything with their steak or barbacoa. The only reason I give then 4 stars instead of 5 is because the food does seem a bit overpriced, and the desserts they serve from michoacana seemed a bit old, or just way too frozen. But the food here is fantastic.

My family stumbled in here because we were headed to the liquor store next door honestly. While it doesn't quite compare to my Arizona Mexican food, it really was good. We went back about a week later. So far everything has tasted good but the tacos are where it's at. And the hot sauce they throw in the bag is amazing. We will definitely make this place a regular stop.

This place is awesome. I live in the apartments behind the restaurant and I go here all the time. It's family owned and operated. It's like going over to so someone's house and having them cook for you. I go here often when I don't want to cook, or I'm just in the mood for some really good Mexican food. I've never been disappointed. They give you lots of food too. I'm really happy that it's a small restaurant, that's family owned, and is not a huge food chain. The food tastes great and is cooked right in front of you. They have a nice patio too. This is a first generation family owned restaurant. They've been here for about year now. Keep it up guys!

This a great place for lunch. I'm pretty picky when it comes to Hispanic dishes as my mom is Mexican and cooks old school style. I must say this is a great alternative that allows a break from the usual fast food chains. The parking lot is big, so always space to park, and yes there isn't alot of sitting space, but they do have outside tables, which is really nice now that it is warming up. I think prices are fair for the amount of food that is served. I will definitely be back.

Cramped, crowded and WAY overpriced for the quality of the food. The ingridients dont taste fresh and the horrchata is teeth coatingly sweet. Plus they charge you 50 cents per pinch of cheese or for a teaspoon of sour cream. No thanks.

There used to be a hot dog place here... Tacos are soooooo much better. I haven't had every item on the menu yet, but so far the torta, tacos, huaraches, and burrito that I have had were all exactly what I wanted. Also, those pickled carrots/jalapenos and horchata.. omg! And there was a sign up advertising tamales on Wednesdays & Fridays. And as an added bonus, there's a liquor store right next door!!

This place has great food! My husband and I are picky with Mexican food and loved it. The burritos are huge and the guacamole is good. I want to go back and try the tamales too. We both got meals and an appetizer and our total bill was $15. We were stuffed when we were done and really thought the food excellent. We called our order in and it was ready and still hot when we arrived to pick it up. Can't wait to go back.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
