Ok, just O.K. I mean nothing here makes me choose this place over the other 89032750735 fast food places. The prices are higher and I'd rather have a mcflurry over a concrete mixer. This location seemed just like any other i've been to except the staff a little less enthused. Nothing bad. I'll still go every so often but meh.

Culvers is a nice alternative to other fast food places with a variety of menu choices. The staff at the Grayslake location are typically friendly and pleasant. The restaurant is not always as clean as it could be but the place gets very busy with lots of people in and out.

I haven't had a problem with this location yet. It's close to home, the atmosphere is delightful and the food is delicious. The service could use a little tune up because when I visit and ask questions about menu items, they don't seem to understand or know the menu. The burgers are great, the fries are decent, the cheese curds are to die for and the ice cream is the best in town, especially for the price. It isn't somewhere I would take the family every weekend because it isn't the healthiest or cheapest meal but its good for occasions and a lot of fun when you dine-in. Stop on in and see what you are missing because I rate this Culvers a 5/5 stars, without a doubt and I am sure you won't be disappointed either.

I love me some Culver's! There's something for everyone, low to reasonably priced and tasty, tasty. The staff has always been really friendly in my experience at this (and most) locations. Favs of mine are the lemon ice (spring/summer seasonal, and extremely WW points friendly, btw!), pot roast sandwich (get extra au jus), and the surprisingly good onion rings. Of course, you can't go wrong with their big ol' burgers! :) I'm a purist, so forgive me when I say I think their plain Jane vanilla frozen custard in a cup is the best, but they do also have an extensive list of frozen custard concoctions, of course. It may have been a limited time, or maybe seasonal, but if you like spicy and they have it, get the chipotle cheese curds. Wowzers!

This is our local, fast food, burger joint. We opt to come here anytime over the other typical burger places. Here you are guaranteed to have a clean environment, relatively quick service, and a great dessert. Over the years, we've tried just about everything on the menu and have not been disappointed. My favorite, but simple meal is the Culvers Double Deluxe, complete with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo with two slabs of butter burgers with cheese. The Fish platter and Ruben sandwich are also secondary bests. Of course, when you go to the soda fountain, and if you like root-beer try their very own brand, which I find to be very tasty and can easily drink several cups while there. To end the meal, you can enjoy a nice custard. As mentioned by Chris, each day they have a flavor of the day and other mixes you can experiment with. For me, the Turtle or Raspberry Sunday are good hits. When you have kids in tow and they get the kids meal, don't forget to tear off the two coupons on the bag. One is for a free kiddie sized custard and the other is a token. When they save up 10 tokens, they can redeem them for a cool prize which are displayed by the soda-fountain.

OK...stick to the burgers here. They are flavorful. If you are a light eater, the sandwiches will be fine. Deviated from the burgers finally and had to finally write a review. Had a reuben here and am very disappointed. As a person used to real deli sandwiches, ones that are stacked high with meat, this was an eye opener here. Very light on meat. Was still hungry after eating it. Anyone that says a reuben or any other sandwich is good here is commenting on taste only. Not quantity or quality of the meat. The 2 slices of bread put together would be higher than the meat between the slices, the opposite of what you get for about the same price in a real deli sandwich. Will be back for the burgers but will not make the mistake of ordering a sandwitch again. Have to pay attention to portion sizes that others are getting on other items when I eat in in the future.

Kids seem to like the burgers, they are ok. The problem I had was with their fried fish items. The bad flavor lets u know they let the fry oil get rancid and gross. I could not finish my walleye though I have had it before and it was good other times. I think it may just be this Grayslake location just does not maintain their fry oil quality... Yuck. Stick to the grill items.

I am a huge fan! Their burgers are great; I've tried some other items and haven't been disappointed. What really impresses, though, is the employee attitude. Always friendly and helpful. They bring the food to my table, and usually take the tray away when I've finished. Even the restroom was clean and the toilet paper was decent!

This is the only Culver's that I've ever been to, so I really don't have much to compare it to, however I've always enjoyed coming here for ice cream or a quick lunch. The staff today was very enthusiastic, and attentive! It's been a while since visiting, and I noticed that the interior has been renovated, and it looks very nice! I brought my girlfriend here today and she LOVES the cheese curds. I have to agree that they are "addicting". Definitely one of my favorite places in Grayslake!

I've never been to a Culvers, so I decided to try it tonight. It's an ok fast food place. This place was noticeably louder than other fast food restaurants I've been to. That's the main reason I gave them four stars. On the plus side, it was fairly clean. Even with kids running around, they had folks regularly making the rounds to keep it clean. Great job. The cashier were really friendly and courteous, more so than other fast food places. Our good was good but nothing outstanding. If you're looking for a fast food place, it's a solid place.
