Hands down best delivery pizza in Glenview. There's better out there but if you live in Glenview this is the only delivery you need to know about. mmmmm

I have an announcement to make! My daily, non-stop checking in on Foursquare has finally yielded another notable perk, and it is $2 slices of pizza at Viccino's! My life is complete. Whereas you can get personal pizzas at Pizano's and Pequod's, Viccino's serves up XXL sized pizza by the slice. For frame of reference, it barely fits on a standard sized paper plate. For another frame of reference, I'm pretty sure the slices are bigger than my face. You can get sausage, spinach, or cheese in pan style, and there are thin crust options too. Add your own toppings for $0.50 each, which they'll put on top. Finally, very limited seating inside (it's like bar seats against the window), and there are a few tables for dining alfresco.

I stepped in to get a slice of pizza. The manager was polite and professional. A woman who seemed to be the owner gave me a nice and genuine smile. They brought the slice to my table outside. It was a pleasant day. I tried the pizza. Feeling that it was rather bland and seeking some flavor, I shake some fake cheese particles on it. No increase in flavor. Then I went to the chile flakes, no increase in flavor or even heat. You'd expect chilies to at least have heat. They must have been really old and stale. Basically this was one of the most tasteless pizzas I've ever had. It probably has to do with buying the cheapest ingredients possible. But it did accomplish the task of filling me up a bit until I could have a decent dinner at home. I suppose that if their customer base is centered around suburban teenagers w/o tastebuds who eat it with budlite lime, I'm sure that their business is safe.

Stopped here for lunch before heading to the library to get some work done. Grabbed a slice of sausage pizza for about $3.50. Not the best thin crust I ever had but not the worst either. But for the value, it gets 4 stars from me.

This place is small, but their food is incredible. The pieces of thin crust are as big as your head and they're delicious. You can't go wrong with what you order.

Pizza Pizza, slices. Made to order! Excellent taste hits a ten in flavor, crust texture and chew. Select from choice toppings, then receive a large slice and dig in. After one piece you will want more. Guaranteed! Service is quick and very courteous and the pizza toppings like red pepper flakes, oregano and parmesan are free. I ordered Pepperoni and Onion and each ingredient was spread evenly over each slice. Fresh toppings. The onions here are the best I have ever eaten on a pizza. I think they use white vidallia onions. The menu has a large selection of items to order. Next, I'm trying a meatball sandwich. Inside seating seems a bit crammed but they also have a large area for outdoor seating with iron tables and chairs. No plastic seating here! Separate restrooms are provided for customers only. This is a hidden gem! Pricing is reasonable: 2 slices of pepperoni and onion, (which are quite large slices) and a fountain soda $9. Of course the more fresh ingredients the pricer, it adds up. This place has the freshest toppings and I mean fresh!!! Good for everyone. Located in an outdoor mall area with loads of parking. Right across the street from Glenview Public Library. Check it out everyday, for a flavorful party in your mouth. Healthy!

Made to order slices of pizza are nice but this place is super greasy, not my favorite, but I'm guilty of going here all the time. Minus a star cause of the grease and minus another because of the service, they always make me feel like I'm in their way.

We usually order the thin crust pizza but I tried the eggplant parmesan. OMG! It's to die for, I can't believe I don't need to go to Little Italy to get something this good.

Recently tried the deep dish. Just as good as i expected. Fresh tasting, sauce was sweet and the most impressive part was he crispiness of the crust all the way through the pizza. Viccinos never disappoints.

One of my all time favorite pizzas. Their thin crust is delicious and I haven't tried a topping that hasn't been top notch. My go-to pizza place when I'm craving it.

Pizza is okay. But salads especially fresh mozzarella and tomato salad. Year round they have the most tasteless tomatoes ever. Invest in quality veggies is your going to serve salad. Or stick with pizza

My favorite pizza ever. Order at least once a week. The thin crust is my favorite but I also love their deep dish, paninos, and salads. Their salads are big and full of ingredients, not just lettuce. They also have wheat crust or gluten free options and are super flexible with special orders. Awesome menu for groups with people who want different stuff or if need pizza break. Love

I can't believe that I allowed my Viccino's rating to languish at four stars all this time. They are one of my four regular lunch spots for a handful of excellent reasons. First, their pan pizza is the best that you will find anywhere around here (meaning city AND suburbs) and their thin crust is also very, very good. (Occasionally it will get slightly dry and over-crisp on the edges from the second trip through the oven.) Second, they have pleasant outdoor seating in the summer, which is a boon because their indoors is cramped and noisy. Third, they have had the same two guys working the front for the last couple of years, and they run the place efficiently and make you feel welcome in subtle ways. I really appreciate that. But truly, it's the pizza that brings me back over and over and over. And of course, six bucks for two slices and a soda is still a hell of a deal.

*to the moderator, there is a duplicate listing and the reviews from here ( yelp.com/biz/viccinos-gl… ) should be moved to this listing. I had Viccino's incorporated into my daily diet, a slice of cheese and a coke for $5 every day for roughly 3 years. The staff here are awesome, I feel like I've seen the same general manager working the cash register every time I go here. Their slices of pizza are thin crust (stick to the simple cheese pizza, can't go wrong), the slices are pretty big and definitely fill you up! It can take up to 10 minutes to get your slice though. Their slices are usually served burning hot (that's how you know it's good), and the best way to eat their slice is by adding some peppers, and use a fork/knife at first and eventually just hold it and bite into it after it cools down. Also a huge fan of Eli's Cheesecake, also sold at this location! A lot of people who like Panini's also love Viccino's, and back when I lived in Glenview, I believe they were doing a punch-card program for 10 paninis and you get a free one.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
