Finally, it's open! I tried Mingle Juice Bar at a promotional Yelp event and have been excitedly awaiting it's arrival. The space is very open and relaxing with fresh produce on display, a refrigerated section with cold pressed juices ( there was a special today for $2 carrot/ginger) try this amazing dessert made of chia seeds, coconut milk, shredded coconut and berries,) and some baked goods in the front. There's a huge array of drinks from cold pressed, freshly made to order juices or smoothies, some desserts and other healthy treats which is a great alternative to the overly sweet and processed foods out there. I tried the 'strawberry fields' smoothie with strawberry/blueberry/peach/kale/coconut milk and it was not too sweet and was filling. For the fresh smoothies you can opt for a choice of soy/almond/or coconut milk or coconut water. On my first visit, I tried 'one love' which is freshly made to order with apple , lime, mint, and kale. I really loved this drink and will get it again..also tried a sample of 'let it go' smoothie which is essentially like a chocolate milkshake...so yummy! There's a huge variety of drinks to choose from which can appease the pickiest of eaters. Additionally, the owners are so nice and I'm happy to see them so active within the community at various events. Congrats on your opening and I'm looking forward to making my way through the menu!

I am so happy to have finally walked through these doors! Its so hard to find actual juice bars in the suburbs that has class, charm, taste and best of all, options. It is worth trying to find parking in the Glen. Once I walked in and immediately noticed that Mingle is clean, welcoming and just adorable. The people behind the bar are so friendly too. I have only tried 2 so far but have enjoyed them very much and look forward to the next ones i get. When I come in here i am usually in a rush and need something for later too and they have pre-made chicken wraps that come with organic green salad too. The wraps are simple yet delicious and is exactly what I need. It is a bit more expensive then others but having options and custominizations such as almond milk is so important to me I'm willing to pay the few extra dollars. I know someone had mentioned how they can just make this at home for cheaper but you gotta think about it; you are paying for their food, time, equipment and expertise. Personally as a busy young women I am ok with paying a little extra to have someone else make it with exceptional quality. Mingle will be my new place to go when I am need of healthy smoothy!

For the record, I didn't taste anything here. Just walked out after the staff displayed no concept of their products. I was told each smoothie has protein in it and when I asked how many grams, got blank stares. Then I saw they don't offer any milk at all! Just soy, almond or coconut 'milk.' I asked why and was told 'these are healthier options.' At that point, decided this wasn't the place for me. If your going to offer shakes, not only should you have a general idea of its contents and if you don't want to offer milk, that's fine. But telling me these are healthier options is an absolute joke.

What I love most about Mingle is...well everything! Mingle is a juice bar with your health in mind and that's why I love it. I am ADDICTED to lemonade so being able to get a low sugar chemically free delicious Lemon Shake Up makes my day! If you are going here expecting a thick, creamy, milkshake that's just not going to happen. This isn't a Jamba Juice where the drinks have juice in the names but aren't healthy. These are still amazingly delicious but also good for you. I think the reviews where people seem unsatisfied might be because of some unrealistic expectations. Some of my favorites: -The Cinnamon Roll. It takes like the delicious milk in the bottom of a bowl filled with cinnamon toast crunch. -Lemon Shake Up. So damn delicious with a pop of tart that it makes it so tasty. It was so hot on Saturday that I made my bf take me so I could get one and it was the best thing in the world on a hot day while out in the sun. -The Chocolate Shake. So much yum. Always tasty and satisfying and great for a pre or post workout. -One Love. Both my boss and my bf love this. I don't like Kale so I haven't tried it but it always get finished in a few minutes so that must be a good thing! -Godzilla Shots! OMG these are the BEST energy boost. -The muffins. You cannot east just one. Seriously they are addicting!! Tasty, baked perfect, scrumptious. The cons: -That's there's not one right next to my house? This is an A+ plus but know that it is run by two health conscious people who are make delicious juices not filled with processed stuff. Come here for a healthy and delicious drink in a beautiful atmosphere with friendly people. The whole crew is great, the place is sparkling clean, sunny, and relaxing.

I got the cinnamon roll that has cinnamon, banana, vanilla, coconut creme, and almond milk. Expecting a boost of awesome flavors i got a watery 24 oz smoothie. How do you water down those tasty ingredients?!? Was not impressed. Next time do not add so much ice especially if Im paying for an $8.75 smoothie. Also the girls working there were not enthusiastic. Did not even get greeted. No wonder the smoothie was bland. However Im willing to try it again and give them another shot.

I LOVE Mingle and I recommend it to anyone and everyone around the Glen... but I've noticed lately if the owner Kim isn't making the smoothies, they are NO good. I've had 2-3 tasteless watery smoothies made by employees when Kim wasn't in. They were not up to par :( I haven't given up yet but I hope that all of the employees can learn the recipes to make them as good as I know they can be!

Delicious breakfast smoothie bowls. Great, fresh ingredients. No dairy based liquids are used so it makes for a great healthy breakfast. Located at the heart of the glen the location is great for anyone who works or lives in the area. Prices are typical for most suburban juice bars. However, the range of options is much larger than other juice bars in the area.

Simply adorable. This juice and smoothie shop is as cute as can be. Kudos to whoever designed it. I would not mind several rooms at home like this. The smoothies base can be almond, peanut, soy, rice or coconut, I believe, and then additions from there. They have many pre-chosen smoothies on the menu. On our single visit so far, I chose the "Let it go" 16 ounce smoothie with an almond milk base. The smoothie itself consists of hot chocolate mix, banana and choice of nut butter. Only 125 calories, yummy and quite filling! They make everything there, all organic or as much as possible. My husband chose the "Jammin'" smoothie (220 calories) which is berry-heavy with a bit of banana and kale. I tasted it and it was very good, though I think it could have used some sweetness to combat the tart, perhaps a touch of honey or agave. Each cost a mere $6, and I think well worth it. There is also a case of pre-made items including their own in-house crafted almond milks. I'm quite anxious to try these but they were out. I think the trick is to get there early. They run about $9 for a 16 ounce. I'll have to get there early enough to try and grab a bottle and give it a whirl. More to come on that. You can also pick up an acai bowl, or soup and sandwiches, all of a veggie nature. This shop is in the Glen which I was not familiar with and now, I'm eager to explore the tons of shops an eateries in the future. I foresee a lot of mornings starting my day out here, fuel for my running (& shopping) excursions.

I was excited to try out Mingle but my experience here was mediocre. I ordered the Jammin smoothie which was blueberries, strawberries, kale, banana, and your choice of a nut butter. Here are things I liked and didn't like about Mingle. LIKES *customization - you're able to choose the base to your smoothie (almond, soy, coconut, coconut water, or rice) in addition to swapping out fruits or veggies if you don't like one of the ingredients in the drinks *cute decor and ambiance *healthy options to your typical smoothies/juices/milkshakes DISLIKES *overpriced drinks - yes I know they use fresh ingredients but seriously, $7 for a 16oz smoothie?? *my drink was super liquid-y and had no taste to it. I've made smoothies at home that tasted 100x better. I couldn't taste any banana or nut butter and those two alone have very strong flavors. I doubt I'd return to Mingle but the concept of a healthy juice bar is appealing especially in the North Shore Area.

This was my third visit today and by far the most disappointing. The first visit I had a Pineapple Express juice and absolutely loved it. It had a hint of basil and lime. The second visit I had Tony the Liger and also really enjoyed. Today I had the same Pineapple Express and I was so sad. The first sip had a great pineapple taste and I walked out the door. After I began driving it became sour and tasted like bitter lime. There was no pineapple taste and after paying $7 I expect really great produce. What a bummer- I was really looking forward to this unique spot.

I live close by and was excited to try this place. We ordered 2 juices and got them 30 minutes later. The lady apologized. Apparently our order was delayed because there was another customer that had issues with her drink. I can't recall the name of the juice I got but it had beet, carrot and orange juice. The juice was full of big chunks of carrot and had so much pulp, it had the consistency of a thick smoothie. Barely drinkable. My friend kept laughing as I was spitting chunks of carrot on the table. This was the worst juice I have had. I mentioned the pulp to them and the lady said it was like that but offered to strain the juice for me. I was watching her and after she strained the juice, there was less than a quarter cup left of actual juice left. She said I got some "dry beets" and filled my cup about 3/4 of the way up with straight orange juice. What would have been a nice gesture is if someone offered us a coupon or voucher to come back and give this place another chance. My friend said it best: This is a new business and it's crucial to go above and beyond to keep customers after an experience like the one we had. As it stands, we will never be back nor can we recommend this place. What's important is what you do to rectify the situation. And in my opinion, they didn't do enough to win me back. Bottom line: Waited 30 minutes for an awful drink.

Awesome!! My wife and I stopped in during our bike ride and fruit smoothies were just what we were in the mood for. Low cal, healthy and to quote Lucy Ricardo, "and tasty too!" Service was great, they knew the menu/ingrediants. Healthy snacks good too! We will be back often.

I've stopped in to Mingle Juice Bar a few times now and each time I'm always impressed. Not only is the juice amazingly fresh and tasty but the owners and staff are fun and love what they're doing! Its contagious and always a great place to stop for a drink. And not only drinks, they have an AMAZING chia pudding everyone must try! Try your juice or smoothie with boba on the weekends! So many exclamation points, definitely an awesome juice bar and in a great place in the Glen. Stop by and check it out for yourself!

WOW! Stopped in the other day while in town for work and was blown away. Who knew Glenview had such great food choices! I had the butternut squash soup and a beet smoothie (sorry forgot the name of it). YUMMY! The best part was I actually felt good that I ate a super healthy meal packed with veggies. While there I observed 2 little boys slurping down a bright green smoothie (like it was a vanilla shake) and I overheard it had spinach or kale in it. Amazing!

It feels like the south here. Healthy and bright. Take note though, I've never spend time in the south to enjoy Southern Hospitality. I did enjoy the hospitality here though. I walked in thirsty and I was greeted with a nice smile and a helpful girl behind the bar. After some initial questions about my mood, she pointed me in the direction of the OJ smoothie. It was good, refreshing, and orange. It was a bit pricey though, and it was the same thing that I could've gotten at a Jamba Juice. The only thing that I noticed to be different was their juicing options and their knowledge about their products. I figure if I were a suburban soccer mom who was thirsty before my yoga class, this would be the go to place. I like it. You will too. Cheapskates beware.

I have only been to this place once. But the One Love juice is out of this world amazing. And I also appreciate the modern design to the place. It's definitely going to be a place I will probably do studying at. I loved the atmosphere!

We be jammin'... my smoothie was so good I forgot to snap a photo before it was too late. Contrary to what some people might believe about me, I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to trying new foods. If someone were to put these two things in front of me--a stack of Oreo cookies and a pile of kale--my heart would tell me to go with the cookie and my head would feel guilty knowing I should choose the kale. And what's with almond milk anyway? What I know now... healthy can taste good! So I ordered the Jammin' smoothie with almond milk, strawberry, blueberry, kale, banana, and peanut butter. Holy deliciousness! I couldn't taste the kale at all! And, I'm sure that was super healthy peanut butter in there too. Thick like a milkshake, and bursting with flavor. So filling that it was my dinner for the night - can you say tasty and easy meal replacement? Note: One of the co-owners is a physician, so each yummy bite is doctor approved! Great addition to The Glen. They also have more than smoothies on their menu: - Cold press juices (Give Me The Beet Boys) - Almond milk concoctions to-go - Summer offering of Hawaiian shaved ice - Made to order juices (It's A Chard-Knock Life) - Acai bowls I gave this place 4 out of 5 stars because they are still working out a few kinks on some of their smoothie flavors, but other than that, I'm anxious to go back when I'm feeling the Oreo guilt.

Just tried this place for the first time & I was super satisfied!! Mingle was clean & polished while still being warm & inviting. I got the blue Monday acai bowl. The presentation was beautiful & the flavor was delicious! I liked how the calorie content was provided on the menu. However, I wish they had included all of the nutrition facts (sugars, fats, ect). That is the only thing that prevented a 5 star rating. Overall, I was super satisfied & will be back!

Mingle has very good smoothies, juices, etc. my personal favorite is True Colors. Mingle is very pricey and it kinda takes up most of my money to hangout with friends. When I decided to go on Friday I went at 7:30 probably the busiest time at the Glen. I walk into to Mingle excited for my True Colors when I was told that they do not make any more shakes an hour before the store closes. From a business perspective it would not be the best idea since it is the time when the Glen is full of families and friends. I would recommend to go here, but you have to come at an early time. I would recommend that they stop making shakes and juices when the store closes. Even though it may take a while to clean it would still give you more customers since again it's the most popular time.

Mingle Juice Bar has a nice location with plenty of parking. The smoothies are amazingly delicious and very fresh. They use all fresh produce making these smoothies very healthy. The shop is very trendy and offers great decorations. We would highly recommend the Cinnamon Roll Smoothie or fresh juice - it is all amazing. Mingle in the Glen is a must visit!

I really really like coming to this place for a refreshing drink or snack. Great atmosphere and extremely extensive menu, even though the prices are to the moon. Expect to spend AT LEAST $10/person. I do like most of their drinks, but they tend to come out on the watery side and are inconsistent. Their açai bowls are so good and priced appropriately for the amount/toppings but could be less watery...more frozen or creamier maybe. The worst part about this place is the service. Many RUDE, unhappy high school students. When I was in high school and worked a mediocre job, I at least put on a smile - it's not that hard!

So with the New Year comes New Year's Resolutions. Mine was to get my life in order... Step 1. Quit smoking. Step 2. Cleaner eating! Well since step 1 is done it's on to step 2 and for that... this place is a Godsend! Today was my first time and I'll be back at least once a week. The acai bowls alone should bring you back. The quality and quantity for the price cannot be beat! They're delicious. I also got the Come on Eileen smoothie. With the cacao and cinnamon it had a delicious fruity oatmeal cookie taste to it. The Buffalo Soldier juice was yummy on first taste. That ones in the fridge with a cup of their ginger miso soup waiting for lunch. Also, the staff were amazing helping me pick exactly what I wanted. And the co-owner made a point to come over and introduce herself and show me around. How can it get better?! Now that I've rambled... Come here if you like good quality and great taste! I'll be back for sure.

I communicated a peanut allergy to them as I ordered my acai bowl. Unfortunately it wasn't communicated to the back and there was contamination due to not using a nut-free blender. They did comp my bowl so at least there's that and I'm thankful my reaction wasn't too bad. Still, it was a pretty careless mistake.

Stopped by here for my first time and got an Acai to go. The energy of the place was a bit off, possibly because there were three timid young girls behind the counter that were a bit awkward. I am a full supporter for hiring high school students, however I would suggest having someone who is a bit more decisive and approachable behind the counter. Also, there is an ART to making acai bowls. If I am paying 10.00 for a bowl I would really enjoy it better if it were made correctly. There was way too much granola in that giant to go bowl. The acai was a similar texture to a juice. Very runny. Acai bowls should be thick and frozen in texture. Similar to frozen yogurt. Better luck next time.

I love the idea of this juice bar and the extensive menu. It is in a great location and has cute decor. My husband and I have tried several smoothies in the last few weeks. Some were really good, some lacked flavor. Out of the ones I can remember- we loved Jammin' and Black Forest but Cinnamon Roll and Everyday is Like Sunday tasted watered down. We've tried many juices as well in the last few weeks. The juices have very unique flavors and while they always taste good, the flavors have not been consistent which is annoying. We both really liked the Acai bowls (Relax and Blue Monday in particular) and the chia pudding. It's also nice that they provide many gluten and dairy free options for those with food allergies. My husband decided to do a juice cleanse for the first time. He picked up all of his supplies and asked the staff members what order he was supposed to drink them in and no one in the store knew the answer. He was instructed to call back later that night when the owner was going to be in to find out the answer. However, she was not there when he called back and he was told by the person answering the phone, "I have no idea." He ended up just drinking them in no particular order. It seems like the staff could definitely benefit from more juice cleanse education since it is something they really advertise and encourage people to try. Originally, I was really excited to read on their website that they use organic produce when seasonally available or often select locally grown pesticide-free produce. In fact, this was the reason we starting going to Mingle and drove out of our way to get there. However, I was very disappointed this week when I saw the freezer at Mingle full of Dole romaine lettuce and GFS frozen berries. Clearly, organic/locally grown produce is not their priority. Overall, these experiences have left us somewhat disappointed by Mingle. We won't be going out of our way to try it again anytime soon.

I was so excited to stumble upon a place where I could grab a healthy lunch with my kids instead of something gross and greasy! I don't know why the suburbs are so slow to catch on to the desperate need of restaurants that offer healthy options. Everything we had was super delicious...the True Colors juice was just amazing. My daughter loved her Tony the Liger smoothie...devoured the entire thing in like 2 minutes! The lady working the counter was super sweet and helpful and even made a custom "mango only" smoothie for my 5 month old...which he went nuts for! Ok...now the vegetarian chili...OMG...I am determined to find out how they make this....I could eat this every day...the flavors are THAT good! I am so so happy to have found this place. I am really looking forward to trying out one of their cleanses. :)
(5)Josh A.
I really wish this place was good. Unfortunately it isn't even remotely decent. Granted I only had smoothies, so perhaps they just put effort into the juices, but you are better off getting smoothies anywhere else, including McDonalds. Customer Service Grade: F Here is my interaction with the employee taking orders... Me: "what makes the 'Big Time Smoothies' different than the regular smoothies?" Employee: "I don't know. I guess the ingredients are just better quality and more expensive" Um, seriously???? Product Quality Grade D I ordered two smoothies, a Tony The Liger and a Pumped Up Kicks. Not only was it the consistency of water (which is pretty gross for a smoothie), but there was almost zero taste to either. I should rephrase, the Pumped Up Kicks tasted a bit like vomit. Sorry to be so gross, but it's also true. The owners should really go do some research on competitors like Peeled to learn how both knowledge of product and quality of preparation will make the difference between a line out the door and an empty shop. I hate bashing a business, but this place could be a great addition to the Glen if they took some pride in what they are doing.
(1)Grace Y.
Cute decor, good service! My favorites are Let it Go smoothie, One Love cold press, Daydream Believer cold press. i add a soup to my order here and there and they've always been yummy. I'm happy there are in the Glen, great healthy option for lunch!
(5)Eva H.
I'm not a juice bar person. I'm not a fan of their cure all claims and refusal to serve solid food containing gluten, but every so often they're Google's only suggestion for a quick vegan lunch nearby, and i go because they're where I belong. That said, this place is adorable. I'd like them to design my apartment. I got the cinnamon roll smoothie and didn't regret not going to noodles and co even a little.
(5)Viv P.
The place was super cute and the bottled juice I purchased was pretty good. Not the best cold pressed juice, I have ever had, but not the worst. The smoothies were only "ok." I got one with almond milk, almond butter, cocoa and banana. The first one I got was pretty much all ice. I commented that I was surprised at how much ice it was and the employe responded that they don't put ice in their smoothies. I handed mine back and said that it was pretty much all ice. The owner was there and offered to remake it. The next version was all liquid, not thick at all but tasted good so I just took it and left, but honestly it is possible to make this smoothie thick without it being all ice by using enough of the other ingredients to thicken it - such as a whole banana and 1- 3 tbsp. of almond butter. I didn't mind that the banana flavor wasn't too strong (they said they use only half of a banana), but I couldn't taste or distinguish the almond butter in my smoothie. I think for $7 per 16 oz smoothie that it isn't too much to expect an adequate amount of the ingredients in your smoothie (other than ice). I would definitely head back here for a juice, but I think I will stick to making my own smoothies or hit up another smoothie place.
(3)Kay S.
Kim it's way to late for that you have put such a bad taste in my mind I will never walk in again I chose True Juice because they are professional in there prepared juices and food your salads don't belong in that cooler as well your going to get someone very sick I came in dozens of times their was always a problem I was treated God awful I've been sick and trying to get well I come in I'm harassed each time I'm spending hard earned money to enjoy myself and my body healthy food I choose to drive a little bit farther to be treated as a regarded patron and that is how they treat me for years it's really clear you don't like service pets which says a lot about you and your operation I wouldn't set foot in your Establishment after my husband and myself were treated terrible each and every time I understand that your a doctor besides where is your Human Regard instead you caused us great stress each and every time we spent our time and money we drive from Bannockburn and then we are treated like we are in a third world country!! It unreal you should stick to what you know because your not equipped to handle people read your reviews!! You put peanuts in a drink that the person was Allergic to peanuts!!! You need proper management since you are hardly their to watch how the food is prepared and refrigerate your product properly so you don't cause your patrons their life!!!!!!
(1)Morgan K.
They are rude!! Even though juice isn't worth $10 for a small container. Over priced juice. I remember when I went there with my boyfriend to get juice and my juice tastes like water.... Made me so mad.
(1)Sue Z.
Was really excited to try this as have read some good stuff. Gave it three stars because there are some teething problems but owner Kim was very receptive to feedback. What we had was delicious but owing to some printing problems we didn't get to see the full menu of what we could have added. If what you want is not on the menu, they will customize for you with the ingredients they have. The decor is just right for a place that promotes such healthy eating. It is also great that they are trying, where possible, to source local organic ingredients. The lunches that they will be doing sound really enticing. Give this place a try - my sense is it will get better and better. We really need somewhere like this in the area - don't be afraid to give feedback. Lets help to make them really successful.
(3)Aly N.
I love that Mingle uses fresh ingredients in their juices and smoothies. The owner is super friendly, hands-on, and helpful. The atmosphere is modern/lofty yet warm and bright, and the menu is varied but manageable enough for newbie juicers. I had the Could You Be Loved smoothie -- coconut milk, kale, pineapple, coconut butter, vanilla bean, raw agave nectar, plus a sprinkling of fresh coconut -- $5 for a 16 oz which I thought was a fair price -- and it was totally delicious!
(5)Lola L.
Kale never tasted so good! Great decor and friendly staff. Will be back! Highly rec for kids to get some veggies in on their trip to the Glen.
(5)Elle S.
The fresh juices are very refreshing and pressed to order. My only idea for improvement is adding some ice or somehow cooling the juice rather than serving it at room temp. But overall a great new business!
