Not only does Meatheads have excellent burgers and fries, but they also understand what it takes to excel in a small community. I already loved how they show their support for the local high schools by posting scores for in-season sports, but they did something this past weekend that went above and beyond. My elderly parents were babysitting my kids and they decided to take the kids to Meatheads (my boys are big fans). While ordering, my mom asked for a cup of coffee, to which the cashier apologized and said they don't have coffee. No problem, they placed their order and sat down and in less than five minutes an employee of Meatheads showed up at their table with their food...and a coffee from the nearby Panera. Now that's customer service! Thanks for making my parents fans, Meatheads!

It's good for its food but that's all. Every time I go there the employees are so cranky and rude. Oh and one time boyfriend and I came in and ate at about 9:15 or 9:30 and the manager asked us to leave as soon as we could because he had something to do, I swear to God. Coming from someone who works in the restaurant business, I was shocked at the disrespect.

Food was very good. Service not great. Half of our orders were wrong.....we were the only people in the entire restaurant. When we asked that the orders be fixed (mostly missing toppings and/or cheese), the staff acted like they were doing us a favor. Been to other Meathead's in the chain, food is consistent with them, but more training needed. If they can't get orders right for the only meal table they are cooking for, I cringe to see what I'd get during a busy lunch rush.

As good a Meatheads food is the service here at this location is amazing. The cashier/ shift manager, Amber was over the top nice and made me feel really welcomed. She talked with us like we were friends and not customers. Recommended the Cajun fries. She also asked me several times during my meal if everything was good and even offered to refill my drink. I will be returning to this Meatheads, not just for the food, but because of the great staff and atmosphere. Another big plus is that they have two working coca cola 100 flavor machines.

Five guys, Smash Burger, and seven other "sit down fast food" burger joints have come to every one's towns. You likely have a favorite. For me, I would go with Five Guys burgers and Smash Burger's fries. Enter Meatheads. Great burgers and great fries. They have very good topping choices for the burgers as well. If the big three were next to each other, I would pick Meatheads.

This place was gross and it is towards their chicken tenders. Fries were ok, you receive a huge portion for a regular. My son said his hamburger was good, and he loved the fries. As far as the chicken tenders go do not order them unless you like this type of battered chicken. It was slimy and oily, didn't look drained enough. I would not go here again just based on they are eh ok. Nothing special, the pop machine is the coolest thing in the place.

What a great place! This was my first time at this restaurant and Amber made it very easy to figure out the process. The service was fantastic and the burgers were so tasty. The restaurant seems to support the local high school football teams and you can track their seasons on the big board. I recommend.

Best burgers around. It's like the In-N-Out of Illinois. Although I'm still partial to In-N-Out, I do like the wider variety at Meatheads. It is more expensive than In-N-Out but cheaper than other burger places (other than fast food joints because I wouldn't place this with fast food). The burgers are incredibly juicy and fresh. It wasn't nasty greasy either. I love their fries here way more than In-N-Out. I had the Cajun Fries and they seemed fried to order, and the seasoning was awesome. It wasn't overly salty and just enough spice. The fries are also thinner than most places, so if you prefer fat fries, sorry, you'll have to go to Five Guys. Overall, I prefer this over Five Guys any day.

Good meat, Cajun fries are tasty. It's clean, cheery and the service is quick and friendly!

Husband and I have been to Meatheads twice now, and I have to say that we would go out of our way to eat there again. The menu is big enough to please a lot of people but not overwhelming that you have trouble deciding what to get. The portions are great, and the food is really top notch. What impresses me about this place, the staff is amazing. SUPER friendly both time we went. Several staff members asked us if we needed anything, but we did not feel rushed at all or anything, we just felt well taken care of. Husband and I agree that this is by far one of our favorite burgers. We will be back again!

Less than satisfactory bar-b-q double cheese bacon burger with Overcooked patties and the bacon was hard and rubbery. Waste of 10 bucks. Why is the music so loud ?

Son #4, who is 9 years old, was dying for some Cajun french fries. None of my other sons even knew what Cajun fries were when they were 9, that tells you how worldly this guy is! Anyway, I turned to my yelp buddies and located Meatheads. The Cajun fries are delicious! We only had one son with us for the outing and our lunch was about $30. Hubby had a 1/2 pound burger, I had the patty melt (no bun, just a lettuce wrap) and son had 4 chicken fingers. They have a freestyle soda machine here, so the little man was in heaven! I'm one of those "rebel" parents who lets my kid drink soda when we go out, so he was psyched for the treat! The burgers were cooked just right and #4 said the chicken fingers were "crispy on the outside but soft and moist on the inside". (I see a future yelper in him!). We all split a large order of Cajun fries which comes on a 9 inch plate and is plenty! Minus one star for the heating or lack of it at this location. We moved from our first seat (near the freestyle machine) to a different one trying to warm up and it didn't work. If I could have ordered a coffee I would have! Turn up the heat man!

There's an old episode of 'Ren and Stimpy' where they adopt a convict that falls off the back of a bus. They take him on a picnic, where this unfolds: Ren - What do you want to eat, Kowalski? Kowalski - MEAT! Ren - What do you want to drink, Kowalski? Kowalski - MEAT! So Ren makes a breadless meat on meat sandwich for him, and throws some red meat in a blender for a disgusting looking meat shake. Much like Kowalski, when I am pregnant I want MEAT. Served with a side of MEAT. So off to Meatheads I went. My plan was to get a burger and some chili cheese fries, but the guy said the chili cheese fries are huge, and i didn't think i could throw down, so I ordered a cajun burger with a side of cajun fries. He asked if i would like a side of chili with that. Would I? Hell yes give me a side of MEAT to my MEAT. The Cajun burger has a fried egg, pepperjack cheese, fresh jalapenos, bacon and bleu cheese sauce. I was a little bummed that the yolk was completely cooked through, runny yolk on burgers is the best, but it was still super good and i shoved it in my face. The fresh jalapenos on there were so killer, i loved it, i'd get the same burger again but ask for the runny yolk. Everything else was perfection on it. The cajun fries were ok, but i wouldn't get them again. Too salty to eat with the chili. Next time i'll just get regular fries when i get MEAT with my side of MEAT. I ate the majority of my burger and fries, and then sat and pondered ' Do I dare get back in line?' Hell yeah I did. Marched right on over like BAM. This was my first (and a half?) visit to Meatheads, and I always feel slight trepidation at ordering Chocolate shakes at a place for the first time. Do they really have shakes, or am i going to get flashed? Do i even have any 20s on me? No, buddies, it's a legit chocolate shake. Perfect ending to my Meatfest. I will be back, oh yes, I will be back.

Meatheads is a new casual dining burger chain which has recently invaded Chicagoland. Like Five Guys and Smashburger, Meatheads offers a limied variety of menu items mostly focused on burgers, fries and hot dogs. In visiting Meatheads in Glen Ellyn I decided to try the hot dog. They don't offer a Chicago style hot dog exactly but offer a New England style footlong hot dog. In ordering it I was asked what I wanted on it, the standard is grilled onions and mustard ala a Maxwell Street Polish sausage. The hot dog came on a toasted but not hard bun. The wiener itself was far longer the bun, the onions were nicely grilled and the mustard was applied well enough to be the perfect compliment to the hot dog. While it's a very simple hot dog, it was far better than the hot dogs served by the previously mentioned other casual dining burger joints. I also decided to try the chilli cheese fries with added onions and jalepeno's, these were also quite good with a nice chilli flavor and just the right amount of spice. My only complaint is that this only comes in one size, at five dollars I almost passed on ordering it, and while I got a lot of fries for the money I would have preferred a smaller order had it been available. Overall the dog and chilli cheese fries I had at Meatheads easily exceeded my expectation from this style of chain restaurant. While the food was good, I do have a few nitpicks. First off the music played in the background reminded me of being in a doctors office waiting room, the cubed lights and unusual tables give off a vibe of being in a 1990s coffee house. On the bright side, the tables, counters and floors were clean, and the staff was very friendly. I would go back again and I give the Hot dog and chilli cheese fries a recommendation.

We live in Glen Ellyn and are sitting in our car facing south at the Main St. & Roosevelt Rd. stoplight a lot, so we watched the "That Burger Joint" place go up. Eventually we thought we'd try it out and checked the Yelp reviews for it, which weren't good. A couple of people mentioned that they wished they'd gone to Meatheads instead. So we figured we'd just forget about the other place and go straight to Meatheads. We were not disappointed! We've been to 5 Guys a couple of times but weren't that impressed. We like this place better. I think it's a little more expensive, but the service is really top-notch, and I like the fries better. I got the chili cheese fries, and it was enough for 2-3 people. The food is quick and easy, and I like the topping choices for the burgers. I also like it that when I say that I don't want a bun on my burger, they don't look at me like I'm from Mars. I don't eat bread. It's not really a big deal. They don't act like it is, and I appreciate that. We've eaten there twice now, and both times when we left we were full, happy, and satisfied. My only complaint about it is that I must have driven by like a thousand times and never really noticed it was there, and from the name/sign I didn't know it was a burger place. I kinda thought it was another sub shop or something. This is not really their fault though... I guess I'm not that observant.

Hadn't been in for a while, The burgers are very good, great taste and love the cajun fries. My daughter got the kids hot dog meal and said she liked it a lot. It was longer than a regular hot dog and on a cool cut bun. We like this burger place a lot better overall than the one about 100 yards away and the other competitors we have tried. Prompt service and friendly staff too!

First time at a Meatheads. This is a really cool place. It's super clean (yes, I know it's new) and the seating is great and it seems more spacious than many of the other similar burger joints. The people working are really friendly, likable, helpful and service-oriented. We loved how they seem to be community-focused- one of the guys working told us about the Meathead of the Month board where local high school athletes can be nominated and win a meal and their picture on the board. They have another board (see the picture) where the local public high school games are listed and it looks like they'll keep track of who wins each game. I'm a big fan of the Coca Cola machines where you can pick your base drink and add flavors- this location has two which is so smart because the other places I have been that have these machines have huge lines to get your drink because they only have one. The menu is basic- burgers, chicken, hotdogs, milkshakes, and fries. I like that they have a selection of sauces you can get on the side or add to your burger. I built my own burger and had bacon ranch sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle and added bacon (.99) and it was really good- juicy (but not super greasy) and tasty. My husband really liked his Californian which has pepper jack cheese, cucumber wasabi sauce, avocado, lettuce and tomato and wants to try the Hawaiian one next time. I'm looking forward to trying one of their shakes- they have interesting flavors like mocha, coffee or Oreo in addition to the regular flavors of vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. The burgers are reasonably priced (the build your own starts at $4.75) but everything can add up (I think it's $4.00 extra if you add fries and a drink). They have a kids menu too. We shared a large order of fresh cut fries and they were really good. (Their website says they have a 32-step process to create them!) You can order cajun fries too or they have little shakers of cajun seasoning you can sprinkle on yourself if you want so you can control the taste. We didn't finish our fries but someone offered to bag them up for us. Too bad there isn't a drive thru but I don't think it would work in this location on Roosevelt. We even liked the music they were playing. Their T-shirts are super cute and clever too. :) We had a good experience and expect this location to do really well. We'll be back!

Note, we usually get our order to go. The wife and I have eaten here a couple dozen times since the place went up. We have yet to be disappointed. The burgers are thick and juicy, and the toppings fresh. Fries are delicious, and the chili and cheese they serve with the chili and cheese are great also. Servers have always been helpful and knowledgeable about the different menu choices. We will continue to go here for as long as we want burgers.

I wish I could write a review of meatheads and smashburger in one shot, because whatever I'd say about one, I'd say about the other. Both are massive disappointments. When I order a burger, I want some say in how it's cooked. Which shouldn't ever be a problem if you know where your meat is coming from. As soon as a place tells me that they can only cook a burger well done, then I know that the meat is subpar, bought by a corporate guy in a logo'd polo shirt by the ton and sent to chain outlets in nifty little circles. And of course, by the time you cook it well done, it has little flavor anyway. So, then it all comes down to the toppings. And the toppings are fresh, sure, but there's no thought put into interesting flavor combinations. When city folk make fun of us in DuPage County, they might as well pull out a picture of this place. At their best, their burgers (and fries, let's not forget the lackluster fries) are nearly flavorless. If I order something hot, make it genuinely hot. If the average person thinks the hot burger is too hot, then tell them not to order it. I tire of these places thinking that "gourmet burger" means throw a whole bunch of crap onto a burger and charge twice as much McDonald's. Go to Kuma's, go to Longman & Eagle's, go to Edzo's, go to Top Notch, go to Hackney's. Find out what an amazing burger can taste like in Chicago. Then do your damnedest to match that. If you can't, then don't bother.

A higher quality burger than 5 Guys, but a different genre than Smashburger so comparisons between the two are unfair. Better fries than both 5 Guys and Smashburger in my opinion. They offer regular and a subtly seasoned Cajun. Portions are HUGE! A small was not "small." Very wide menu, but as it's a store called "Meatheads," don't expect a salad. (But they do have an avocado veggie burger that looked excellent.) If you like burgers, you must go.

Three stars means A-OK, and that seems about right. I've only been there once and had the 1/3 lb burger with grilled onions and fries. It's a pretty good burger but nothing really special. The burger is fried (like McDonalds and Wendy's, for example). The fries are fresh cut but not nearly as good as the fresh cut fries I get from a couple of local hot dog/Italian beef joints. The grilled onions are only slightly grilled, not carmelized in any way. The bun is pretty weak - it stood up to the 1/3 burger but just barely. Overall, the place is very similar to Five Guys. If I want a really good burger with really good fresh cut fries and really good carmelized onions, I head to Silverado's in Elmhurst.

Went here for the second time last night...somehow the kitchen got our order really messed up. When the server brought the food we mentioned the mixup. She sent the manager over and everything was fixed and our check was reimbursed by half. We really love there food....home cut fries. We will go back for sure. Great customer service!!!

I was on Yelp checking for some tasty burger joints and lo and behold... Meatheads. I am familiar with this strip of Roosevelt so I cruised over for lunch. The store is new and clean. They had been open for two weeks or so when I stopped in. The staff was friendly and offered up a recommendation when I asked for one: The Cajun Sunrise. I was not let down!! Jalapenos, a fried egg, bacon, cheese and a 1/3 pound Angus burger... OUT OF BOUNDS!! It was so good, I went back the same day for dinner. That time around, I got The Californian and that didn't disappoint either. Their Cajun Fries rock and I will definitely go back again. I'm a fan!!

Five Guys: Hey Good lookin! Smash Burger: You're not so bad yourself! Nine months later, Meatheads was born. You get a lot of food, for a decent price. Skip the shake - One size (medium-ish) for the same price as their sandwiches. As a sauce connoisseur, I can safely say very inventive sauce list!

My favorite childhood memory of visiting my Nana and Aunt Diane, as they lived in Brookfield right by the train station, was going out the back door to Cock Robin and getting a double cheeseburger and a cone with cubed ice cream. (Yes, they used cube-shaped ice cream scoops. Great for scoop stacking. Plus, the triple-scoop cone itself was of a different design.) Fast forward many years and a sea change in hamburger couture, and I'm re-living the dream. Sort of. Meatheads does as close an approximation to Cock Robin as I've tasted. The bun was gooey and molded to the insides, just like Cock Robin. The patties were thin and not overly tasty, but did the job, just like Cock Robin. A word on the patties. My wife ordered the 1/3 pound burger with everything but mayo, and I ordered the same thing but of the 1/2 pound variety. I thought that a thicker, juicier and more flavorful patty might be worth the extra $1.25. And I was wrong. Instead of different patties, Meatheads makes one size patty, which is 1/6 pound in weight. You either get two or three patties in your burger. This was disappointing, as a third thin patty didn't offer anything except a little bigger bulge in my gut. It's not worth the extra cost. The fries in my to-go order were lukewarm, enough to require putting them in the toaster oven at home. They had a decent crispiness to them, but the salt distribution was not well done. What they lacked in quality they made up for in quantity, as we couldn't finish the single large order that took up nearly two inches of the bottom of the bag. The favorite parts of my order were the EarthChoice boxes which held the burgers. They rock in design and eco-friendliness, and they did a good job in keeping the burgers warm. (Though a piece of aluminum foil could do just as well, I reckon.) I can see hoarders washing the boxes and keeping them somewhere, as they might come in handy someday. If I could give half-stars, I wouldn't. Meatheads deserves exactly three stars. Or perhaps six thin and not-as-juicy half-stars. Perhaps I would've enjoyed it more had I eaten there. Meatheads is trying to be community-driven, on display by listing the scores of the boys and girls basketball games on the inside wall. Nice job listing both genders, Meatheads! But why choose six local high schools and leave off Willowbrook? I live in Willowbrook's district and am in Lombard, only one town away. And if you really want to push high school sports, don't forget gymnastics and wrestling. Football and basketball get all the pub. Oh well. I was accosted by two servers during my stay. Not really "accosted," but both of them were fine young women, friendly enough in their interactions to make me feel a little... uh, what's the phrase... all that and a two-inch-deep bag of fries. I think of Meatheads as a less-greasy Cock Robin that pushes fresh toppings and angus beef, but I don't know if it's worth the extra cost. If a Cock Robin was next door, I'd nostalgia-trip there instead, get a cheap double and fries and use the savings for a triple-scoop cubed cone.

One day while rushing to get to work, I dropped off at my local meatheads. Not being very hungry, and the menu not having a specific age on the kids meal, that's what I got.... Perfect portion for a small eater. The burger was very good and the fries were also decent. My favorite part was probably the different kinds of ketchup bottles. I think I used the jalepeno ketchup and it was really good. The only downside is I wish I would have gotten my food sooner since I was in a little bit of a rush, but what can ya do? I'll probably be back for the small kids burger or maybe try the big kid food one of these days.

This place is awesome! We've been there several times (my wife & 2yo daughter) with my parents, and we love it. We were just there Friday night, and had a negative experience turned into a positive one. Ordered all of our food together, so that's five adults and a child. Three of our orders had mistakes in them.(Wrong fries, something missing from my daughter's meal, and my burger had mustard on it.) Usually, this is when I get pissed and write a bad review, right? Wrong. The manager came over, (young female in her twenties, I forget her name, but she had a lip ring...) I know what you're thinking, but she couldn't have been nicer. Really! So courteous and polite to all of us, she apologized for the mix-up in the kitchen and made sure we had the right food. That's usually as nice as a manager gets at most places we go to, and that's why we never go back, but she went above and beyond. She gave us a credit for two of our burgers, AND a free shake!(which was delicious) The food is great! My wife is vegetarian and asks me to go there, so I don't feel guilty about it. Love the burgers and fries, and now I'm a big fan of the shakes too! We'll definitely be going back many more times. Mostly due to the service/management, but the great food doesn't hurt either!

I complained about this place a while back. The owners really took it to heart and made sure I came back to try it again I recieved a gift card a letter and flowers from the manager of this store delivered to my house. Thats how you get people to come back a place that truly cares about the customers keep up the good work

Was looking for a place to take the family for a quick meal, decided to finally give Meathead's a try. Turned out to be a good decision. The burgers here were really tasty. You have the option to build your own burger from a list of ingredients, which is cool. We got a regular size order of fries for the two adults to share, and it was more than enough. They were crispy and slightly over cooked just the way I like them. The soft drink machine was pretty cool as it gave you about 100 options. 2 adults and a child and we got out of there for around $25 pretty good deal if you ask me. Will be back soon.

I found out about this place when I saw the French fries someone was eating when they ordered to go. They looked great. I just visited the first time yesterday. Everything was great. Burger was very good. Very flavorful. Nice soft bun. Fries were fantastic. I like this place better than Five Guys. They have the same lofty prices as Five Guys, though -- which is why I give them four stars rather than five.

It took me months to realize that Meatheads is a burger place, for the longest I figured it was a submarine sandwich chain. Anyway, my wife & I were in the shopping center, were hungry & decided to try it. We were greeted nicely by the register person, in a "no tipping" tshirt, the place has a nice woodsy look. The menu is easy to understand. I ordered a 1/3 lb burger with everything, I mean literally requested every-single-topping including pineapple, japalenos and mushrooms, to their credit they served me a nicely stacked double patty burger. We loved the fries, they're whole potato cut and cooked perfect. So why only three stars? The patty itself was bland, and the bun couldn't hold up to the burger. IMHO, Smashburger holds the crown in this category,

pretty good fancy burger place. Not rock your world burgers, but very good and certainly better than the burger joint in the oberweis building right down the road. So if you're in this area, want a burger, and are picking between the two come here. Then go to oberweis for a shake. Fries weren't great, so if you're even remotely thinking about watching calories, skip the fries, not worth the extra carbs. Service was great too. They saw us coming in with a carseat, asked if we were eating in and immediately set up a table for us to accommodate the car seat.

This was my third visit to this location and my wife and I decided to try the grilled chicken sandwich. This is one of the better chicken sandwiches that I have had and it is a very nice size as well. We ordered them adorned with lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions and I added cucumber wasabi sauce on the side. The sauce was a nice change from mayo. The grilled chicken sandwich is as good as their burgers.

I love their Burgers and fries!! I also love that they support the local high school sports programs. My kids love that they can mix all the different flavors of soda in their computerized fountain machine. If you are looking for an excellent greasy burger, go to Meatheads!

With the growing list of gourmet burger joints, it's getting more and more difficult for new kids on the block to distinguish themselves. In the case of meatheads, it falls mid pack with good ingredients, great service but overall a pretty lackluster experience. I didn't find anything special in the quality of the burger to make me want to come back. Also, i thought the fries were very wimpy; not much flavor and the cajun option doesn't really add anything. If i want a nicer burger, I'll go to SmashBurger which has more options. If i want something a bit simpler, I still have 5Guys which is hits the spot everytime, especially the fries.

Meatheads never really disappoints. My fiance and I generally go to the one in Naperville, but we were in the area and went to this one instead. I ordered the veggie melt which apparently is new. It was delicious! Of course, the cajun fries were amazing as usual. They also have the customizable drink machines which is great. While eating, the manager came out to ask how our meal was and if we had ever been there. She asked if we had any questions and talked about the veggie melt which was just added to the menu days before. She also offered suggestions for future visits (avocado on the veggie melt) which I will definitely try! She was very nice and we would definitely return to this location.

My husband and I are huge 5 Guys fans and when we saw all the reviews saying it was better than 5 Guys we had to go try it. For us after our experience 5 Guys wins when it comes to taste for us. When it comes to burgers it depends on what you want. Some goods about Meatheads before the bad: 1. Easy to order: the menu was not confusing and they offer some pre-conceived flavor combos (this is something 5 Guys does not do). 2. The bun was noticeably more fresh and had better flavor than 5 Guys. 3. Good service, came quickly, they clean tables quickly too, check to make sure the tables are stocked with ketchup and mustard regularly. So the bad (at least to us): 1. Bun to meat ratio was waaaaaay off: for a 1/2 burger I except a bun that will survive the entire meal experience. My top bun was gone and I still had meat and toppings left. No chain or small chain burger joint is ever good at this. The only places with good meat to bun ratio are the hole in the wall local burger joints I had back home in Texas. 2. 3 small thin patties versus 1 thick juicy patty: I think doing the thin patties is a mistake. Part of my husband's favorite burger experience is biting into juicy (this does not mean greasy) burger. Having 3 thin patties stacked high takes away the natural juiciness of a burger. 3. GREASE!!!!!!!! I love some grease in my food, but we couldn't put down our burgers because of the lake on our plates. It was a tad ridiculous. A little bit of grease is great. I don't even mind a bit rolling down my hand, but we had greasefalls into a grease lake. I know the rest of the day is going to be an uncomfortable day for going to the bathroom 4. The Cajun fries while they tasted good. They are not cajun. Tasted 100% like when I sprinkle TexJoy steak seasoning onto my fries at home. I was looking for a fresher Tony Chachere's (Sash-er-ee) taste. It was a little disappointing. I live off of cajun/creole seasonings along with TexJoy (a Beaumont, Texas original). While TexJoy doesn't deluge their ingredient list and I cannot exactly point out the different spices, I know TexJoy doesn't fit the normal cajun flavor profile. There is something missing and something different about it. I give it two stars for myself and my husband but I gave it 3 because I am aware that this type of burger is something that some people like. I'm still searching for a good local burger joint in the area.

Came here for the first time today. Ordered a simple burger with the regular toppings, it was good, but I don't know if it was $7.50 good. The service was great though. Everyone was nice to me, and the cashier helped me out after I told her it was my first time there. The bathroom and dining area were both exceptionally clean. I will definitely be coming back to experiment with other menu items.

A note to fellow reviewer Kara, I have been to the Northbrook location at all times of the day and they keep it super clean. With that out of the way, I had the best burger ever at a restaurant (sorry Northbrook location your still very good) as I still make the best burger on my grill. I ate the Texas burger. It was moist and tasted so fresh (they do not use frozen meat at any location) It has the typical toppings of tomato , lettuce, onion, and pickles all crispy. (hate a mushy tomato that oozes out of the bun) Then there is the bacon, cooked perfectly and tastes better then any store brand. Then to top it off a bacon ranch sauce that is complimentary to the other flavors, not over powering. I did have a little problem with the bun coming apart but when I mentioned it at the table they said that I was clutching it so hard as though someone was going to steal it. Guess they all got the message not to take it. If I do not like the fries at a restaurant I will not eat there no matter how good the rest of food is. (5 Guys) Meat Heads are fresh cut then cooked perfectly and you get enough to last through the burger. My daughter had their newest item on the menu, chicken tenders. They were really good. (She didn't clutch hers hard enough) Just looking at them you could tell that it was not an overly processed perfectly formed piece of meat. They looked and tasted like they were from the highest grade of chicken. Cooked perfectly with just the right amount of breading. One other item well worth mentioning, the new Bistro sauce. Great flavor, it hits your taste buds on multiple levels, we dipped our fries in it. My wife asked if they were going to sell it by the bottle. Friendly staff, clean environment, excellent food....can't ask for more.

I love Meatheads. I can get anything I want on my burger, even suarkraut & blue cheese together...yum. Glad there's one so close to home.

Very good. Great burgers, solid chicken sandwiches, and milk / apple juice / apple sauce options for kids. We will continue to come back often.

Not worth reviewing. The Burgers were insipid and disappointing. Culver's blows it away... ecch!

While I have had better burgers, my kids love this place. Any restaurant where I can eat and my kids are happy gets a good review from me. I also like playing with the pop machine.

In the battle of the overpriced, trendy burger franchises , Meatheads wins. Far better quality than 5 guys and more food for your money than Smashburger. Worth giving a try but don't expect to spend less than $10 per person. Yikes!

Move over Smashburger - here come the Meatheads! Just tried it for the first time tonight. Brought the whole family including wife, 3 boys (all under 9 years old) and our nanny. Upon walking in we were greeted and educated on the menu. I had the cajun sunrise - very unique and tasty. Buns are very soft, buttered, and tasty. Meat is juicy and flavorful. Toppings were fresh and delicious. Everyone devoured their burgers (2 of my boys actually ate two each). Fries are unbelievably good - did not try the cajun seasonings - but I highly recommend the cheese sauce to go with the fries. Definitely NOT your ordinary cheez whiz or velveeta - really rich and buttery. Kids loved the soda machine which gives you over 120 different choices. Staff was VERY VERY attentive - lots of service, very comfortable environment. Nice local tie-ins with the area high schools. Will definitely repeat many times in the future.

This is the best burger around. Their service is also better than most overpriced, sit-down restaurants.

you can keep your five guys, i'll take meatheads everyday of the week and twice on sunday. i would have been put off by the price if it weren't the best semi-fast food burger i've ever eaten. i highly recommend adding jalapenos!

I am torn between 2-3 stars because this isn't 'A-ok" but I love the Meatheads chain so much I couldn't bear to do that. My bottom line is that this location isn't nearly as good as the 75th st. location that I am used to. I would look for reasons to justify driving down there to go to Meatheads. I live right by here, and I would not go back. The 75th st. location would churn out perfect fries every time - golden brown, crisp, not greasy. Perfect. I got the fries here and it was the exact opposite. Pale, and soggy from all the grease. At the 75th st location I could get some fries and a double burger and be fine, this place had such greasy fries that I am having reflux after barely eating any (because it wasn't that good), with no burger. Huge difference between the two locations. Basically, they did me a huge favor because if they were as good as the 75th st location, I'd probably weigh 200 pounds next year.
