The Best Restaurant in Illinois!!!!! I heard of Corner Grill from people in Chicago. Everyone raved about this place. I took a trip to Genoa Illinois specifically to try this place out. Where do I begin??? Customer service was amazing. Even though the place was busy, I received my order in a timely fashion. The Food was even better than what I was hoping for. I wanted to compare the food of Corner Grill to Chicago Establishments. I can honestly say that I like Corner grill's food way more than all comparable restaurants in Chicago. The food was fresh, tasty and creative. The owner (TED) was a gentleman and leads by example for his staff. He was polite, kind and friendly. He introduced himself and checks on his patrons. The only reason why I'm rating this place a 5 star is because I do not have the option to give it 10 stars! For excellent food, excellent service and a great experience, you have to eat at this place. This place belongs on the Food network. I will most definitely be back (even though I live in Chicago).

THE FOOD TASTED AMAZING! I had a gyro and it was huge! I could only eat half! And the fries that come with it are a huge amount as well! We also ordered the Italian beef and that was just as big! Husband loved it! OVERALL EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING! Very Pleased. TRY IT!

Always great food and service. I have never gotten something there that I did not like. The portions are huge and my husband and I can usually split a meal and still be stuffed. Their ranch dressing is something you have to try. I could drink it , it's that good. They have daily specials which are always good too. My favorites are the California Steak Wrap, Tuna Wrap and the Cheezy Beef. Would definetely recommend stopping in if you're out in the Genoa area.

This is such a fun place. The staff is so friendly and the portions are HUGE. They have the best burgers! Oh, and I love the music they have playing.

Waited over half an hour for two sandwiches. Got my money back. Amazing how my order appeared when i asked for a refund.. Was still offered the food for free...I said no thank you. I am Never going here again. Horrible customer service.

Plain and simple, really good food and a big enough portion for anyone's appetite. I don't live near Genoa but when I'm near it I make it a point to eat there. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because (it might be considered nitpicking) I had the bacon egg cheese burger and I asked for my egg sunny side up and the server said they don't do that. If you want 5 stars, you cook my food my way.

OMG, is right !! Try the burger and it was great !!! Fast, friendly and good. The burger was 10 oz. of beef. Couldn't finish it. Next time the hubby and I will share one and try a salad. Fries good and a very, very large order for two people to share.

Food is very good but gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because the portions are huge and I see that as a negative. They should adjust portions to normal size. Also the menu is too large...they should consolidate it.

My wife and I were in town doing some car shopping, and on the way home stopped in to have something to eat here. What we had to eat was very tasty, with HUGE portions for the price we paid. The amenities were extremely clean and in great shape. Above that the staff were extremely courteous and friendly. We felt like they treated us like a regular, even though this was our first time at this place. This now will NOT be the last time here.

The best food in Genoa, have never been disappointed with anything we have ever ordered. The portions are huge and the staff is friendly. I only have a few complaints. The dining room is small and hard to move around when it's busy. I'm extremely disappointed in how dirty it is when I eat there. The dining room needs to be thoroughly cleaned especially around the windows, curtains and floor.

Hands down the best grill style joint in the area. It's small and at times this can be a little troubling if you have a large group, but you can take it to go and enjoy it at home too. I've had many items on the menu and they never disappoint. Bring your appetite because the portions are huge. Friendly staff and every time I've seen the owner on site, he asks me how my meal was. It's a nice touch that shows me he cares about what I think of his restaurant. My favorites: Primo Burger, Gyros, and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. Salads are awesome too.

I've ordered multiple things off the menu and NOT ONCE have I been disappointed. My favourite is the DIY burger - the list of ingredients you can put on it is absolutely ENORMOUS and no matter what you get, is very, very good. The place is clean, the food is excellent and the staff is friendly, with timely service be it dine in, delivery or the method that I usually choose - carry out. If you're looking for good food at a good price, come here. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent restaurant. The food prices are fair, and staff is very friendly. The floors spotless and walls were hung with beautiful photos. I thought the 4 meals I ordered from there were delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good sandwich!

We went for a drive today, just for something to do. Happened to stop by this really cute restaurant...and what a pleasant surprise! The staff is very helpful...and patient...the menu is HUGE! My hubby and I decided to split the special after seeing the portion size...a 10oz burger, with italian beef (homeade...omg, the spices where awesome), chihauhua cheeze, pesto, hot peppers, with a side of frys... We couldnt pass up the onion rings either...My tastebuds went straight to heaven! Even the ranch was delicious! We still couldnt eat all of it, and brought home the rest...I was stuffed, but kept smelling this terrific meal, and wanted more!! While there, people were calling for takeout salads, which made me take another look at the take out menu...buffalo chicken & antipasto salad? YUM...homemade italian sausage...ribs, chicken sandwichs...grilled tilapia....prices are sooo reasonable..... they also cater. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! My only complaint is I don't live close enough! But you betcha, I will be making up an excuse to go to Genoa SOON!!

Never had a bad experience. Fast friendly service. You get a lot of food for a decent price. Only complaint I have is the small dining area, so if you are coming with your family there may not be room.
