Went there for the first time last night, and it was great. Loved the root beer beer so yummy but dangerous at 10% alcohol. They have a nice draft beer selection as well. I think they did an amazing job with the decor. I had the BLT with egg while really good it made me feel like I was eating breakfast, I liked my husbands sandwich better for dinner. I actually think they are at the right price point, not that I would mind paying less but It was exactly what I would expect to pay. Such a great addition to Geneva I wish the best of luck in their endeavors.

I'm a tad confused. This bar SEEMS like it's a Pearl Jam tribute bar, but the ambiance makes it seem like Pearl Jam would never step foot in this bar. It's got a bluesy-jazz feel to it. It didn't help that I saw a blues/jazz/Van Morrison cover band here. Anyway, the drinks: while the variety was on the higher end for Geneva, so were the prices. The waitstaff was a hit and miss. We had this really awesome attentive waitress, but I think I got lost in the masses, so I got turned over to a waitress that DIDN'T KNOW WHAT A TAB WAS. I'm not talking soda, either. The bar is nice and swanky, and a good fit for Geneva. It's just got a few kinks to work out and it'll be a go to for townies and visitors alike.

Was looking for a place to hold our rehearsal dinner since we are getting married this May and stumbled upon this little place. First of all I have to say the decor and atmosphere is great! It's very cool how it is decorated and has a rock and roll kind of vibe. The owners were fantastic and so nice, gave us food for FREE to try because we were looking into holding our event there. We tried the pork belly mac n' cheese, bacon wrapped cream cheese poppers and the crispy stuffed mushrooms, all of which were delish! I don't even like mushrooms and I thought they were great. I also tried the root beer beer they have on tap and it's amazing! Definitely looking forward to holding our event there.

Every time I come here I'm more than satisfied. Brushetta chicken sandwich is great along with tots on the side. The fact that this place provides live music daily makes me happy alone.

Great Place with great music and classic music references. Loved the song quotes found on the tables from all the great ones: Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, R.E.M. and others. Seems to be aimed at an older crowd, but still a lot of fun for anyone. Loved that there is 2 floors and both have a great views of the stage. Staff is very friendly and drinks are pretty reasonable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place with live music and great atmosphere.

I love Evenflow! They have a great beer selection, the food is always amazing and great live music. If you are in the Geneva area you must check this place out you won't be disappointed!

I used to go here every week for the open mic nights and for the wings and beer. First off, the staff is atrocious. Utterly lacking in professionalism and has no regards for customers. It's a wonder why they work in a customer service job when they clearly hate people. Oh wait, they don't hate certain men though. Everyone else good luck. You will wait for 25 minutes until someone recognizes you, then they will take your order like they don't want to be there, and to top it off, you have to wait 20 minutes for a bottled beer! You are better off going up to the bartender and getting your drink and then sitting down. But be careful, once your waitress realized you did, she will snub you for the rest of the night. So you are the. Forced to order your food from the bartender which is surprisingly more convenient than the waitress. When I went there, there was a middle aged woman behind the bar and she was the only one who could provide adequate service. Speaking of bad servers, I was drinking my beer and there was about 2/5 left, and the server came around and picked up my beer to throw before I was close to being done. Excuse me? I told her I wasn't finished with it and she stated "I hope it's worth it" wow how disrespectful. I will never go back to this place ever again!

The new food menu is great! Taste, superb! New drink menu, we did the gamut, every single one FANTABULOUS! Looking for a Bloody, the Santana is out of this world! Second fav, The Johnny Cash! Check this place out! The owner Mike is the host with the most! The chef, super humble guy, great cook! And , Wilson, one of the creators of the drinks, great guy!

Hey now. . .faces that he sees through the window ain't that familiar (but look like a bunch of suburban orthodontists out for a night on the town). An absolutely amazing commode experience. Clean and refreshing environs that both satisfy and alleviate the senses. Private and quaint allowing for a personal experience with slide lock to boot! Not a better more satisfying ale house about with live music to cap the night off.

It's a real shame, but I don't hold out high hopes for Even Flow staying in business. Twice now, my husband and I have gone there on a Friday or Saturday night, and found the place completely empty (well, five patrons...that's "completely empty" in my book). Nearby bars, such as Stockholm's, are packed to the gills, but Even Flow can't seem to draw anyone over, despite offering live entertainment. Most recently, we ended up at Even Flow after being told by the hostess at The Office (in St. Charles) there was a 50-minute wait for a table on a Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. Once again, a handful of people had congregated at Even Flow, most of whom came and went during the hour we spent there. There was a live keyboard player, who did a lovely job, I might add, but no one even clapped when he finished his round! It's surprising that Even Flow is so dead on a weekend, because the décor is fantastic. They did a wonderful job converting the old bank into a bar - keeping many of the original features, but giving the bar a contemporary feel at the same time. I suspect that the food and drink prices might keep the crowds away. My husband and I had three drinks between us (two beers and a glass of wine), an appetizer, and a hamburger, and paid $47 including tip. A bit shocking! Worse, the food just isn't that great. The crispy fried mushroom appetizer I had last weekend was just about the blandest thing I have ever eaten. I wish I could say better things about this place, but the lack of a crowd and the overpriced, under par food leave it at two stars.

Our first experience at EvenFlow & we loved it! I had one of their special drinks - the Gwen Stefani - it was incredible! So light and refreshing, but packed a punch! We had many different appetizers at our table of 8 and all were delicious & enjoyed by everyone. Great place to see a band. Intimate, but not too small. Fun decor and atmosphere. Looking forward to a return visit!

Have stopped into EvenFlow many times over this past year- between trivia nights, open mic, and seeing bands- I have seen this place in different lights. Service- really depends on the night. some nights you will go in and the place is so crowded you can't get a seat, let alone move around.. a drink? don't even think about it. on the other hand, other nights it is completely dead and service is okay. we have had the bartender be the server as well.. which ended in slow service, empty glasses, and asking for the check at the end. OK service on other nights, nothing too great. Food- they have recently changed their menu and it looks to be better following trend with Geneva. have tried appetizers and burgers, both good. seeing that there are a lot of great grub places nearby- understandable why they would change it up. Ambiance- goodness it depends on the day. Dead one night.. Hip hop the next and a slasher cover band your third trip in with a $10 cover. Skipping it, trying something new- until I'm drunk and need some music to dance to and have some singles in my pocket for cover.

Seriously? I do not to be forced to eat or drink to a minimum. I would rather pay a cover. This is so not right! I want to see a band and have maybe some soda's and some munchies. I think I will patronize another place who will not force people to do something they don't want to do. Comment from Kellie L. of EvenFlow Music & Spirits Business Owner 2/11/2015 We do have a $10 per hour per person table minimum. What this means is that we ask our tables to average that amount by the time they close out. For example, If two people are occupying a table for 2 hours we would ask that the tab average somewhere in the $40 range at the time of closing their tab. We will not be policing the tables, timing them, or forcing them to drink; the money can be spent on food, drinks, pop, etc. The minimum is there just to ensure that we have tables available for those that do want to eat and drink. We're sorry for the inconvenience this caused, and hope that next time you visit things go a little smoother!

Very cool bar. Old bank converted to bar. Life music. Food was pricey but average. Felt like we over paid for the meal.
(3)Atiya K.
Enjoyed a mommy's night out with a girlfriend here. The food was delicious! The waitress talked up the baklava so we decided to try it out. Sadly, they ran out by the time we finished our dinner. Boo. The atmosphere is really nice and fitting with the rest of downtown Geneva. I believe there are three floors total and there was a fun crowd that night. I believe there were a couple of bacheolerettes going on. There was also a great cover band that really engaged the crowd. Will definitely go back.
(4)M W.
So far, so good. We stopped in on a weekend during the day, and unfortunately there was no live music at the time, but we plan to go back soon. Ordered lunch and a couple drinks mid-afternoon, when the place was busy with foot traffic from Swedish Days. The service was good, prompt, friendly. The food (bruschetta chicken sandwich and steak sandwich, both with tots) was better than most bars, but seemed a little high-priced. We enjoyed our nice cold beers (mine was the oh-so-yummy Not Your Father's Root Beer-Beer) and listened to a really nice sound system, even if it wasn't live music. Love the fact that this is an old bank and the owners retained some of the original features. We'll be back.

Nick and Mike brought our town one of the best sounding atmosphere's I have had the pleasure of rocking in. With the perfect mixture of entertainment great food and warm loving welcoming hospitality it's no wonder why EvenFlow named after Eddie and Stone's 1992 hit birthed from a band that literally changed my generation. Last night friends and I had the amazing pleasure of watching yet another superior performance. I have seen so many here you name it and I am sure we have been in the room. Last night was special. Yes 5 stars for everything. Special thanks to Mike for loving music body and soul. I am so glad you are part of our community. - mlatham70 Mike Latham

A great atmosphere for live music. Hey have open night jam on Tuesdays with some talented rockers and musicians. The drinks were great and service good enough for just one person attending the bar. The buildings is old and great having been restored from what appears to be an old downtown bank and they have awesome seating upstairs with perfect views of the stage
(4)Jeff S.
Menu has shrunk. They now charge a $10 per hour / per person at each table. Last thing I want when I want a fun night out is to have the stress of the server timing me and how much I drink. Get ready to guzzle 3 cokes an hour or get drunk fast.
(1)Toni O.
Have been here a few times and always thought the service was lacking and the drinks were overpriced. Refuse to go back to this place after my last lousy experience when I went there with a friend on 02/10. We sat at the bar and were ignored for 20 minutes by the drunk bartender, I believe she goes by the name "Lexi". We left immediately after watching her take a shot with the group sitting next to us... even though she still had not even acknowledged us.

I went to EvenFlow for the first time last night, to see a friend's band (Who's Who). The music-honoring atmosphere at EvenFlow is great, the food is pretty decent, and they have a good selection of draft beers. My appetizer and two craft-beer drafts ended up being about $18 plus tip - a little on the pricey end, but everything was great. Our waitress was attentive, given how crowded it was, but did admit she was "having an off night." Bring your earplugs, as the venue is small and the music loud. I'll definitely be back, either for a band performance or even just for a bite to eat.
(4)Sharon B.
Great GREAT place to do live Karaoke. Very nice band members. Terrific bar staff. I love the ambience of this place. They have 10% Rootbeer on tap that will set you up for the night! It's incredible...worth going for! However, sometimes they close way before closing time...that's no fair.
(5)S L.
Fun spot for live music, and loved the ambience - an historic bank building, where the kitchen is in what used to be the bank vault. They also did a great job carrying out the music theme - from quotes on the walls and tables to "Madonnas" and "Morrisons" marking the bathroom doors. Beer selection was decent and the menu was extensive, but the food was just so-so.
(3)Andrew B.
Ok place. Every once in awhile you will find a good band playing there. However it is always WAY TOOOO LOUD! Not to mention a lot of drinks are over priced and there is always a cover
(1)Alisha L.
Great place for private parties. One of my best friends got engaged here last night. Everyone at Evenflow helped us make it such a special night! My friends fiancé coordinated with Kelly the party planner, and I loved her! She was so helpful with everything the whole night, because of her the night went so smooth! We had the entire basement for the party. We were able to watch the proposal in the basement. They have a camera upstairs so we watched it on the TVs downstairs. It was such a great night :) In three words, everything was awesome! Thanks again Kelly!!
(5)Diana C.
great for music but not for food. I would come here late night after a nice dinner in town. Really a nice venue for dancing and drinks but nothing more than that.
(3)Kelly W.
Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. Staff was very nice and attentive. The nachos were amazing and so was the bruschetta chicken sandwich.
(5)Mike B.
Came here to watch a band. They left the house music playing during the band's set. Mistakes are made, but when I mentioned it to the first bartender, then the second bartender, then a server, they said they would take care of it. Still going on 10 min later as I sit here. Kind of pathetic if you ask me.
(1)B Joseph S.
They have a nice looking place where we see local bands with a decent beer selection. The place is upscale with an upscale crowd and upscale beer prices to match. Their wait staff is ok, a bit perfunctory at times. As other reviewers note, the amount of people in the bar is hit or miss. Our local band draws its own crowd and that is when we enjoy it the most. Other times can be quiet or loud. Although I havent had it, the Wednesday burger/slider special is said to be very good. I am not a fan of the sports TVs, which were playing Blackhawks game even during my friend's band performance.
(3)Gaby F.
I want this place to work but at 7.30pm on a Saturday night there were more staff than customers. Cool decor, average and pricey food. Good booze. Music can be great..I'm not sure it'll last which will be a shame. Hoping I was there too early and it was packed by 10pm..
(3)Bobbie I.
First of all Even Flow was everything I hoped it to be and I'm only sad that I didn't have a baby sitter for my 11 year old because then I would have stayed all night long to enjoy the food, entertainment, and watching the crowd have fun. My family (husband, son, and myself) went there for a late dinner and to catch the opening of Sugar High band playing this Saturday night. We were so impressed by the menu that we could not hardly decide what to eat and so we had a few of the "small plates". Our final choice of "small plates" were: hand cut fries, jalapeno poppers, chicken over waffles, scallop corn dogs, cuban sliders, and chips with avocado. I loved everything except the scallops and even they were good its just that for tonight the flavor didn't go well with all the good spice and tastes I was already enjoying. If I had to choose my favorite it would be impossible but I can highly recommend the chicken with waffles and the cuban sliders. If I have a negative on the food, and this is a real stretch, it would be that the "small plates" are very small. So after our smalls my husband and I ended up sharing the BLT with a fried egg sandwich. Wow is this sandwich packed with many good flavors. The crisp down home white bread paired with brown sugar double crisp bacon, in season tomato, and incredible garlic salt fried egg with all the egg juice it is better than any egg sandwich I've ever enjoyed at home or in a restaurant. Now for the drinks.....we had the "Root Beer Beer" which is a beer that tastes exactly like root beer. The very statement doesn't capture how delicious the drink is when paired with the outstanding food. If it were not a special occasion I would have just had a basic drink but hey I'm celebrating 17 years of marriage so I say go for something that you don't have everyday. The music pre-band is lively yet with a low volume that allows great conversation. The band Sugar High was just so very fun we just sung aloud to every song as each song carried so many great life memories. The band was fun, fun, fun. Now for the service it was genuinely friendly and made the entire experience all the more enjoyable. My husband and I were obligated to take our son with us on the anniversary date and for this night-time atmosphere where kids are not the ideal client our waitress Lexi made my son feel included and welcome. I know this is a big deal because in spite of him being treated as an equal I'm sure kids aren't necessarily welcomed and definitely not targeted as a patron. In addition to our waitress Lexi our table was also visited by the Chef, the manager, and another staff person and every person made a point to shake my son's hand, ask him about the meal, and politely welcome all of us to the establishment. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend everyone to visit Even Flow. It's great for a date night, a celebration, or a basic no special occasion mid-week meal. I cannot think of a reason not to visit Even Flow and I'm certain it will be the most fun place in Geneva IL on a Saturday night. Thanks Even Flow for a great 17th Anniversary night dinner. Bobbie
(5)Heidi F.
We spent a fun filled evening here with friends for a 40th birthday. The place was packed and loud! They had a band, who did a great job of getting all the birthdays and engagements involved and up on stage. Definitely would consider for another group birthday type outing. We wished we had thought to have reservations like the other parties going on that night, but it still worked out fine. We had eaten there prior to this visit and thought the food for good.

EDIT 6/10/2013: Look at the filtered reviews. For some reason, some of the best reviews are being filtered, and only the bad/mediocre/Elite reviews are being left up on this site, with a few exceptions. That's totally unfair. This place has great food with unique options for apps, small plates, sandwiches, beer, mixed bevs, and entrees. Good options for foodies and bar food lovers alike. If you are looking to have your rehearsal dinner here, or private event, apparently this place is great according to the filtered reviews. Chef Dan Emerson will help to create a personalized menu for your group (I know from experience). All in all, as far as food goes, I know that this place is great (I've never been while a band was here). I've been there several times for trivia night, for burgers, for drinks...this place is a gem. I just wish the reviews were filtered better. Ok, back to my original review... $5 burgers on Wednesday! This was all I've had to date, but I will definitely be back. The menu looked outstanding, it was hard to narrow down...but I had a burger with bacon and egg on it. They know how to cook a burger with the perfect amount of char without overcooking it! I will definitely be back for this burger. They also have great homemade chips! The tots are crispy (not soggy), a perfect compliment to any sandwich. I've also had the burger with the Merk's cheese, the cheese is abundant and gives a unique cheese flavor that you don't always find on a burger. Great beer menu. Chef Dan Emerson knows how to pick 'em out :) I had an Allagash and then the blueberry mojito. I would definitely order this! It's large and in charge. Very flavorful without skimping on the booze. The old-bank-turned-live-music-venue decor really works here. I have a feeling that this will be the place to be in downtown Geneva for a good night out!

Let's start the night waiting for 15 mins before I flag down a kitchen helper to then get us a server. Still waited about 10 more mins before the server came anywhere near our table. This review is going to sound harsh. Trust me, I wanted to like this place and was so unbelievably disappointed. Here goes: Do you taste the food that comes out of the kitchen??? I seriously doubt that you do. $14.50 for a "steak" salad? Really? 4 pieces of undercooked beef over some weird lettuce and strange sauce? Really?? How do you screw up steak salad??? Who is making this? Have you ever seen it anywhere else? NO, because it just flat out is a rip off. Order a steak salad from Wildfire or even Portillos, study the fresh ingredients and make that instead! Wow. Gordon Ramsey would stick a fork into this place. Ok, moving on....tried the "lamb" meatballs...again do you ever taste what comes out of your kitchen?? What is that sauce they are in? Pasty brown gravy attempt?? Ever hear of salt and pepper? Senior home taste treat at best. Now how could you screw up wings?? They have found a way.... 4 undercooked wings with a watery ranchy blue cheese concoction that they sell as a fondue? Um you need flame for that and they should just say four crappy wings instead of the over sold "fondue" thought from the menu. $7.50 I think was the price for those sad little things. They took the steak salad off the bill (they should take it off the menu too!)which the waitress offered, so that helped the night, but what a joke of a food attempt. Such a nice decor; what a shame. How about a kick ass burger menu? or good sloppy joes even would elevate the taste buds in this place. Or just something that you specialize in other than fancy menu descriptions? I hope the owner reads this, makes changes and keeps the overall theme of the place. We are desperate for fun new places in this west burbs and this place certainly has the potential. Step one: Fire the chef or whomever picked the food choices/tastes!

My husband and I went here a few weeks ago to see the Flat Cats, one of the best vintage jazz bands in the Chicago area. We're both swing dancers and value a good dance/entertainment venue, so this review is based off of the whole package of the night. The venue: Fantastic! Really a perfect place for an event like this, the band sounded great, there were bar, cocktail, and balcony seating that were a nice home base after having a good dance and coming back to sip on a drink... (which were really great too). The service: Really, really fantastic. Our server was attentive, friendly, and quick to recommend some of the refreshing mixed drinks. The food: Hmmm, this is where I knocked off a star. We ordered a few things one of which were the scallops, and they were so dang salty. I surely didn't eat the rest and asked the server to take them back to the kitchen, of course she did and took them off the bill. We also ordered the steak, which was pretty good so, one hit and one miss. Overall, the venue which supplied great music, great service, great drinks served up an awesome night, I will surely be back
(4)Madeline K.
I had the burger. It was delicious... The flavor combination was very good! I tasted the scallop entree and it was excellent as well Service was good, but nothing to write home about. I think they're still working out the kinks Great beer selection, and entertainment was a great plus

My lovely wife and I went to Evenflow last night with another couple. We arrived early enough (around 7:00pm) to be able to snag a good table close to the kitchen. Unfortunately, no Negroni to be had here although I did spy a full bottle of Campari on the bar as we walked in. I didn't feel like educating the bartender on how to make one, so I opted for a vodka cranberry tall. It was very tall on cranberry with next to no spirits in it. Next, I tried a Dirty Martini which was very good, but for $14 I would have at least expected three bleu cheese stuffed olives instead of two pimento stuffed ones. I finally settled down with a simple regular sized vodka cranberry which was actually perfectly balanced. Lesson learned, at the bar simple is good. As for the food, the four of us like to try different things so we opted for the Lamb Meatballs, Stuffed Mushrooms and Buffalo Chicken Lollipops for starters, and each one of them was quite good. The lamb was served with a half a small loaf of warm bread and herb butter, which was great to eat with a mashed up meatball on it. Entrees were BBQ Salmon, Portobello Sandwich, Beef Tenderloin Sandwich and the Braised Pork Belly Sandwich. Again, no complaints about the quality or taste of the food...my pork belly "sando" was delicious and the accompanying fries were hot and crisp. Service was very attentive and accommodating even though the place was filling up fast for the 9:00pm band. We ended up staying well into the band's second set and by that time the room was pretty packed and noisy. The sound started to suffer a bit, or maybe it was just our ears. The band, Flanl, did a great job with 90's rock and really looked like they were having a great time on stage. All in all, an enjoyable evening. It's great to have a live music venue in downtown Geneva that caters to the older rock crowd, with some pretty decent food thrown in to boot. We'll be back.

Last Friday night was a couples date night at Even Flow. What a great experience. We chose to sit downstairs for a lower noise level. Bar service was prompt and friendly. The FOOD was great. We ordered a variety of the small plates. The jalapeños were the biggest hit, although not a disappointment among any of the dishes- stuffed mushrooms, fried cheese, pot roast small plate and sliders. This is not "bar food". We look forward to our return.
(5)Joshua G.
The atmosphere is phenomenal. From fridays rocking out the house to my wednesdays and thursday where work can be accomplished. The food is great the chocolate cake is to die for (its fresh). The only thing i wish they had is wifi. Back to how awesome this place is though... I drive past several other places to get to Even Flow... and will continue to. as it is the best place for the young and old that enjoy: Music, Food, Drinks and a reliably great time.
(5)Jeanette T.
My husband and checked out Even Flow last night and were impressed! Loved the atmosphere, our server was attentive and the appetizers and waygu burger were delicious! Definitely a place to come back to-finally a great place for live music in the western suburbs!
(4)Ali N.
I've been to this place 3 times now since its opening. As someone that's been going to the downtown Naperville scene my whole life (don't judge me) - this is a much needed break from the teenybopper crowd. It's been pretty consistent on the fun and food factor. Some of the food is geared more towards the adventurous foodie, so if you've been eating at chain restaurants your entire life, stick to the burgers and sandwiches on the menu. I hope it succeeds - its the only place my husband and I agree on for date night (read: I can get dressed up and remind him I've still got it.) In ten words or less: Great vibe, delicious food, strong drinks. Schubas in the burbs.
(5)Julie K.
My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at Even Flow and let me tell you that there is truly no better place in town! The food was incredible and the staff at Even Flow will work to make sure that all of your needs are met. They truly went above and beyond and created a menu that was loved by all of our guests. We used the private room downstairs which worked out really well because it gave our guests the opportunity to go up and listen to the live music after our event ended. We were so pleased and would recommend EF to all of you, Yelpers!

Yikes! Ended up here after trying to go to Geneva Ale house but the wait was an hour for a table. We visited Even Flow when if first opened so I was excited to see if there had been any changes. Unfortunately , the changes were not good. We got there at about 7:30 and was offered a table literally in the doorway because all the other tables were reserved. We told the host that we were just eating and were not staying for the band, which left us plenty of time before they actually needed the tables. There were plenty of seats at the bar so we ended up eating there. The menu looked great but I really wish I would have just went with the fries. We got the short rib grilled cheese , steak wrap, and wagyu burger. Each meal was flavorless and the burger was dry ... Leaving our plates only half empty. Pretty disappointing as the food was good when they first opened. If there is a good band, we will probably be back just for drinks but we definitely will not waste our $$$ on the food.

Finally! I've been waiting for a place like this to open in the tri cities area. With Chord On Blues not being able to make up it's mind on what they were gonna do with the place, it's nice to see another live music facility in the area. Place has only been open for two weeks and was completely packed at 10:00 pm. Lots of wait staff but lets see how long that last. The band that was playing was definitely a wedding entertainment band playing a lot of crowd pleasers but it was still enjoyable. Drinks are a little pricy but that may keep a lot of rift raft out. The age of the crowd was middle aged but seemed to be not feeling any pain at the time. I even saw a conga line go thru the bar just like you would see at a wedding. I didn't eat hear because it was late and I didn't make it to the basement where supposedly there is more stuff to see but I may have to go back to try but maybe a little earlier in the evening. If you like live music and city priced drinks I think this would be the place for you. I'm curious to see what other acts they book in the future.

We had the chance to attend a live music event here on a Thursday evening. The room and space is lovely, the stage and sound very nice to enjoy live music. We decided to have dinner here before the show. Although the food was tasty and prepared well, the portions for the price were NOT worth the money. We ordered the scallops, the wing "loli-pop", and the beef tenderloin salad. The salad was lovely and a nice size, but the scallops and chicken wings were pathetic in portion size. We started at the bar and the service was qustionable at best, then moved to a table for the live music where are waitress made up for the overall poor service we received. It's too bad that this review is not at all good because the food has potential and the place has character. Give the customers better portion size and better service and we may be back?

I soooo want to love this place, and we keep trying....but we can't get past how loud it is. I know, I know....its a music venue, but when I have to text the person next to me to have a conversation, it's too loud. When I can't hear all of the musicians because the over all sound is soooo intense, it's too loud. Saw a great Afro-jazz kind of band on Friday, but we stayed for just a couple of songs due to the sound being so distorted that only half the instruments were audible above the overall sound. If they unplugged, it would have been incredible. There's something to be said about knowing your venue - unplug the bands and let us really enjoy the music, please.

Had dinner and listened to a band last night at EvenFlow Music and Spirits in Geneva - what a fantastic place. Food is AMAZING, thanks to Chef Daniel Emerson, service is very very good and friendly, and atmosphere is very fun. Definitely a place to try if you have not already - we will be back again and again and again.

Waitstaff is very friendly and attentive but not overbearing. We went on a Sunday for dinner and it was fairly empty so the noise level was just fine (no bands playing). The beer list is fantastic with prices reflecting the quality (if you want cheap beer this is not your place). As far as the food goes, its outstanding. I felt the prices were a bit high for the portion size (you'll need an appetizer if you want to fill up) but the quality of the food was so good that I can't really justify knocking a star off for that since, just know that if you come to eat you'll spend a decent amount of money. I highly recommend the scallops (big plate) as they are cooked perfectly and the watermelon salsa is outstanding. I haven't been yet while live music was there so I can't comment on soundsystem quality. Looking at the schedule, its all cover bands and blues bands which I'm not in to so I dont think I'll be going for music, however, I will always come here for a drink or a quick bite (prices on small plates are more in my range). I hope they do well, Geneva needs a place like this.

We hosted our daughter's rehersal dinner at EvenFlow and it was a wonderful event in every way! The party was in the private room on the lower level-lots of wood, natural stone, fireplace and a beautiful bar. Chef Dan had created a personalized menu which incorporated our favorite EvenFlow selections. However, the beer selections were over the top. They were able to obtain root beer beer.....yes, it tastes like the creamiest root beer ever with a little kick! It was amazing all on it's own but when you added a scoop of Graham's vanilla ice cream-WOW! Both Nancy and Dan were so easy to work with-whatever we wanted they made happen. The service was very attentive, food was amazing, beers were fabulous and the cost was very reasonable. EvenFlow is a great place for lunch, drinks after work or an evening of dancing.

We went on a Saturday night for drinks and arrived right before the band was suppose to start at 9 PM. We were told that there were no tables for seating. The only option was to sit in the basement lounge. My wife and I were the only ones down there. We did not go to a bar to watch live music from the big screen TV in the basement. If we wanted to watch a band on TV, we would have stayed home. The seating arrangement or the limited number of tables that occupy the main floor are not appropriate to let a large number of people enjoy a band. While there are seats at the bar (which were also full), there is really no place to even stand. So, we left disappointed with the place and are not sure if we will go back.

We went on a Thursday night to hear the band. As a music venue, it's a nice place, great stage, nice ambience with good sound. The stage is a nice size, and lighting is pretty good. The old bank turned venue was pretty well done. We were seated at the bar, and the bartender was more interested in watching the two football games on tv than tending his bar patrons. We sat with empty drinks several times, and he wasn't that busy. Their website stated Thursdays were half price martinis and wine, glass or bottle. We were told no on the wine, but the martini was pretty good.We ordered the seared scallops and chicken wings with bleu cheese fondue. The scallops, all THREE of them were very salty. The FOUR chicken wings were pretty good. For 12 to 13 dollars, I expected to see a bit more food on the plate! Stingy portion sizes. The beef tenderloin salad was excellent. We then moved away from our inattentive bartender to a table. Our waitress is the reason I'm giving this place two stars. She was funny, personable and most importantly, on the ball! Great concept, but they fell a bit short of the mark for me. Give people good value and respectable portions, and they will come!
