Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Excellent place. Had Italian calzone and it was great. Make their own dough from scratch. Would recommend to friends.

Worst service ever. Just left this place and I'm borderline speechless with how rudely my family was treated. When asked why one calzone was so much smaller than the others, the woman who makes them came out of the kitchen and got angry, telling our guest he doesn't need to eat any of it. She then proceeded to take his plate. Add in dirty silverware and voila!!! Worst restaurant.

A hidden gem, literally. Well worth the trouble to find this Italian restaurant tucked away 1/2 block off of Galesburg's downtown main drag in an alley off of Prairie street. Several of our friends had commented about the great food and service so my wife and I decided to give it a try, we're glad we did. The staff was very friendly and the owner treated us like she'd known us for years, we liked the family friendly atmosphere and we really enjoyed the calzones they serve. We both thought they were the best calzones we'd ever had. They have unique breadsticks, very flavorful, they're great dipped in the marinara sauce they serve on the side. Salads were fresh, service was prompt and the waitress was attentive throughout our meal. We had no complaints whatsoever. This restaurant is clean, friendly, and they serve really good food. Five stars in my book and well worth a try.

Staff and owners daughter were friendly, which was nice. However, when the owners daughter is eating the last order of lasagne at 5:45pm, not cool. Not sure how you can be an Italian eatery and run out of a staple that early, with no crowd, but they did. The salad was okay, standard iceberg, tomato, cucumber, but completely smothered in dressing. Bread sticks are good, though a bit doughy for my taste. If they didn't shape them like dumbbells they'd cook more evenly. For an entree I had the shells and cheese, since they were out of lasagne. Tasted like canned marinara from Sysco over pre-packaged shells. Too sum it up, on a cold night like tonight, I would have been better staying at the hotel and ordering from Pizza Hut. About the same quality. Did I mention, they were out of friggin lasagne at 5:45 with no customers!

I always make a trip to The Cellar every time I am in town. Everything I have tried is excellent! The calzones, pizza, and flatbreads are always amazing. I often take groups there for work because it is a place they always want to return too! The owner and staff always make you laugh and treat you like you are part of the family! The meatballs are also a big hit with everyone!!! A definite must to try- you will not be disappointed!!!!
