Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. I had one chance for Freeport's pizza scene to make a good first impression on me, so I had to choose carefully. Thank you, Maria's, for making my mouth happy and helping me to see this town in a positive light. Some friends and I ordered a couple pies for a post-move celebration, and everyone was in agreement that we were dealing with a quality product here. I stuck with a simple one-topping pepperoni, and I loved every bite. The quantity of meat was good, the sauce was slightly sweet, the cheese was real and plentiful, and the crust was just crusty enough. On top of that, they seem to have some friendly folks working there as well. Good show! I'm sure I'll be back soon enough.

Best pizza in town and you can't beat their prices.

This is very high quality pizza from top to bottom. Best pizza around. Very inexpensive as well. The place is not fancy and can get very crowded so we prefer to take out.

I dearly love Maria's Pizza. So much so that when I lived in Sycamore I would pick up pizza on the way back home after visiting my family - just to eat it the next day. The pizza has this fantastic sauce. It's sweet and YUM. It just tastes phenomenal. It's better than just about every pizza I've tried and it surpasses the chain pizzas in every way. The appetizers are also great and you can get pasta with a similar sauce to the pizza. They offer great coupon deals if you watch for them and the price without a coupon isn't that bad either. I'd say the place looks a little "meh" on the inside - it needs some spunk to make it look more inviting and I think the cashier/order takers need a lesson or two in customer service - not rude, just disinterested - and the parking can be tricky.

I personally think it is the best pizza in Freeport. Better than Ciminnos. The inside of the building it is ok, nothing too fancy, just a normal pizza joint, kinda dingy. I like the fried mushrooms, pretty yummy. Deluxe toppings pizza was real good. Haven't had a problem with their service or management. How can you go wrong with their one large one topping PERMANENT special for $7.10 after tax!

Great pie just hope they get your order right! Cause if they don't when you call back be ready for the owner to be a complete asshole like your the only pizza joint thank god for connavas.

i cant believe this place doesn't have even one review...i guess Freeport isn't too big with Yelpers..... simply put, this is my favorite pizza in Freeport and i have had them all (Ciminos would be second)...the sauce has a sweet tomato taste and the crust is excellent, crispy and chewy...the best deal in the history of pizza is their permanent "large 1 topping for $6.49" special...closed mondays, pick one up if you are heading to or from Galena...they'll even par-bake it for you to finish cooking when you get home....peace and love baby
