Never ever been to a Culver's before. I thought they where like Steak and Shake or something. Stopped at the one In Flossmoor, on Cicero ave. about 207Th st. This is the best fast food anywhere! I got the pot roast sandwich. Fucking wicked amazing! They give you free soft drink refills, someone even comes around and asks if you need another refill or anything else. Clean restrooms, no lines, great service. I'm sad they are not in Chicago. If you see one and you're hungry don't hesitate. Gives the finger to McDonald's.

I couldn't decide between awarding Culver's 4 or 5 stars, but after considering the following, I gave them the latter: --the butterburgers are irresistible, their rootbeer homemade and delicious --the $5 'snack pack' meals are a great value: a deluxe burger, snack-size fries and a drink --the frozen custard shakes taste great and will last for hours. Good luck eating one in a single sitting...... All in all, the blue and white color motif is refreshing. I'm a fan.

Culver's has some of the best burgers around. The custard is awesome as well. The people are also always nice and friendly.

I think they do an amazing job. Not one single complaint. Every time is perfect! Many restaurants should take a lesson on consistency. The employees are always very sweet and pleasant.

This Culver's has been open for about three years or so now, and I've only ate from here about three times (that averages out to about one visit per year, for all you mathematically challenged people out there). Truth be told, I haven't experienced anything all that great about Culver's that keeps me coming back on a regular basis. Come to think of it, I wish more food places had this effect on me. Or just food in general. The food isn't bad. Just really overrated, in my opinion. The "butterburgers" don't taste nearly good as they sound. They don't taste buttery, that's for sure. They do, however, taste like a very run of the mill burger. One upside is the meat is pretty fresh tasting. And I also enjoy cheddar cheese on my burgers, so kudos there. But if I do decide to come back, I think I may sample some of their other menu items since these burgers just don't cut it for me. Yes, the cheese curds are highly acclaimed. But I just don't see the big deal. They're very salty, and pretty much taste like bite size mozzarella sticks minus the marinara sauce. This seems like a great place to come for ice cream. But since I'm not a big ice cream person, I still don't foresee many Culver's trips in the future. In fact, if I could have my $11 back, I'd take it to Odie's across the street. It's very Yelp cliche to say "I really wanted to like this place.." but it kinda sums up Cluver's only because the staff are really nice and the restaurant is quite sanitary for a fast food joint.

I've been to this one a few times now(though don't make it out here often), so may as well say I like this location. Staff is pretty decent at this one, and friendly. Both this and the new Lyons location are the closest locations to Chicago, unfortunately. Though I suppose at least the distance factor, plus self-discipline for other times I'm out around here, keep me from indulging here too much. Even next to a Walgreens for emergency shopping situations, which is what that poster ACTUALLY should've pointed out! (forget pointing TB out, least those aren't totally impossible to find within the city)

A coworker took me here for my birthday. It was a great experience because the staff was so darn friendly. A special shout out goes to Mark H. and Deborah for coming over to my table and singing happy birthday! I'm not used to that level of customer service since moving to Chicago so this was a special treat. I got a free sundae too! I'm not a big fan of fast food in general, but they have a nice selection and the food is good. PS "Rose St." is also called 25th Avenue. It's right next to Taco Bell.

I go to Culver's for two reasons: butter burgers and cement mixers. Usually, they're pretty right on with both, and I never have any complaints. However, yesterday I ordered two single Bacon Blue burgers, with fries and onion rings, but what I got was two double burgers of some other kind and no onion rings. I could've gotten downright nasty with this review, but...they redeemed themselves with the raspberry cheesecake cement mixer. Mmmmmm. From 1 star to 3 stars - that's some pretty good ice cream.

On this sunny day yours truly........yeah the big brown man otherwise known as shake & bake and or "dude with the awesome tan" was out n about in this hood for work.......................and it being lunchtime I had the hunger of 20 hungover meat eating hipsters! COnsidering that I got my drink on last night via Wine in a box(chillable red) I had to get lunch pronto! I got the double butterburger with fries. Man this was good stuff! and the staff was friendly even the cashier! they bring out the food to YOU!! Being a poor inner city minority you can understand how surprised I was at people being nice and bringing the food to ME!....at my seat. I will go back to Culvers again when in the area! Awesome spot for lunch!! Shake & bake seal of approval! Hipster infestation level: 0 beacuse of the hood its in No walking skeletor (hipster) sightings to report.

Culvers rocks. It's the In-n-Out burger of the Midwest but with a larger menu. Great freshly made fast food and delicious frozen custard in immaculately clean restaurants. Now if they'd only build one in Chicago proper, preferably Lincoln Square.

McNasty's and Booger Sling can suck it! Culvers is what fast food is all about ;). Bright airy dining area, sparkly clean bathrooms, friendly employees and OMG the food, the food! Pretty much anything on the menu is a winner but the ButterBurgers are definately homerdroolworthy!!! Mmmmmmm....ButterBurger Deluxe with Cheese *drooooools*. Good thing there is not one closer to my house or else I would weigh like 500 pounds :p.

This place blows. I live a block away, so when it opened I was excited to try it. Boy was I ever disappointed. Over priced and the portions are small. I only recommend one sandwich, the sourdough burger. Either that or head over to Sonic down the street. Way better food.

It took me a while to start visiiting on a regular basis. When they first opened the place was so busy I had actually one time walked in and walked right back out since the lines were so long. Now even on thier busiest days I get pretty quick service. There are several items on their menu I love like the cheese curds. This is the first place I've ever had basically a cheddar cheese stick instead of mozerella. I've had many of the items on the menu and they were all tasty. My only complaint is they are a bit pricey but I do enjoy the food.

Some kids go to Chuck E. Cheese, some kids have their birthday party at McDonald's playland, but Me....I love Culver's. The best thing about this place is there is not one near me, nor was there one close by in college, or i'd be the giant fat guy who couldnt get out of bed and needs the crane to move him to the bathroom. So its a once every few months kind of thing, if that. In an effort to make up for a birthday mishap a few weeks back, my mom took and treated me, my two nieces, and a friend of mine to a Culver's. We literally traveled an hour to find it, but dammit, it's worth it. I love Culver's. I love the butter burger, the baskets, the super nice staff they have to greet you and gets your food. You can basically have anything you want..just make up shit, go ahead, they'll make it for you! I think I ordered a double bacon butter cheeseburger basket bucket...I dont even know, what I do know is Culver's is the place you can pig out after busting your tail working out and trying to get in shape. The fries are blah, but there's ketscup..and you must be a muant if you dont like ketscup . We also ordered the cheese curds, a concept completely new to my friend, but she quickly adapted and even took some home. It didnt take long to get our food, plus the unlimited refills works for this group, who sucked down as much lemonade as the bilding could hold. The kids basically wanted ice cream, and you really can't find any better custard items than Culver's. The turtle sundae...outstanding, or as ferris Bueller once said, "its so choice". i have no idea why I'm quoting Ferris Bueller. The food was good, dammit. All in all mom knows what makes me happy. I love you Culver's.

Culver's is THE best fast food chain I frequent, period.I'm not even a fan of everything I've ordered (the cheese steak sandwich didn't do it for me , can't say it was "bad" though.) . Lets start with the Burgers , my burger of choice is the jumbo bacon cheeseburger. This creation is the thing of food related orgasms , I believe I made an audible gasp of Ecstasy when I first bit into one. I've had the cod sandwich , very good . The walleye sandwich , not as good , stick with the cod. The fried chicken , good , not great, I've ordered it several times so it is at least that good. So to sum up ... Oh yeah , THERES CUSTARD TOO! To be objective , my brother isn't a big fan of the custard , screw him , he could live on ramen noodles for a month, he knows nothing! I am a bit partial too the root beer float (house brand root beer anyone?). The caramel cashew sundae is probably the best sundae you could get , as far as I'm concerned. This review could be used for any of the Culver's I've visited , they are very consistent , I've never been to a bad one. This chain started in Wisconsin , judge for yourself the health ramifications of that , but if you only allow yourself 1 burger a year. If it is not a Culver's butterburger , you're only screwing yourself.
