Diabetics at Jamba Juice:
Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.
Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:
Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.
Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

Love this deli slash italian grocery store. They sell pizza set-ups that are great for having on hand. Their fresh italian sausage is the best in the area. I especially love the eggplant parmesean you can order from the deli. FABULOUS!! Very casual for a pop in lunch (you can eat outdoors) or to order subs for a sporting event.

This is a great little deli, the kind of thing I'm more used to finding doubling as a BYOB restaurant in Bridgeport. We got a takeout lunch for the whole family here, a few days before Christmas, and it was great eating. I'm no stranger to Italian food, and like the other reiewers, I gotta say the meatballs and chicken parm are great. And the staff too.

We order catering from here a lot at my office and it is delicious! I'm always excited when I know it's coming. And then we have leftovers for days in the office fridge.

Talking to another friend who just went into Ambrosino's the other day and she too had a bad service experience. What is going on with the business? You get mentioned on 190 North and then decide you do not have to give good service? I think I should write 190 North to never feature your establishment again.

Huge fan! I get lunch here often. Meatball sandwich and Chicken Parm sandiwch are excellent. Chicken Parm is not fried, which is huge. Just good food at a reasonable price.

A group of us in the neighborhood had a party. We went back and forth with what to do for food. First we were going to grill, then we were going to hire somebody to cook for us, then we were going to order pizzas, and so on... Finally we decided to give Ambrosino's a call and see what they could help with. That was the best idea ever. The girl on the phone was patient and very helpful from start to finish. We ordered over 100 sandwiches, and few meat and cheese trays, and a few relish trays. The food was a hit with everyone of all ages. People constantly commented on how good and fresh everything was. The people who work there seem to really care about what they do, and how they do it. I find that a very unique quality in today's world, and I always remember it. I look forward to giving more and more business to Ambrosino's. Really great people, with a really great product.

I used Ambosino's for my 7/11/2015 wedding. After having a great experience leading up to the event, it pains me to only give 3 stars. Here are my positives and negatives: Positives: - When we did our initial tasting, they gave us a HUGE amount of food, much more than any other caterer. It made us feel like we could make a really good decision, since we had a lot to compare. - Pete is very personable and makes the process comfortable and easy. - They are reasonably priced, flexible, and offer a lot of options - Day-of, the filet was delicious and well-cooked, and their tortellini was also very good. - The chicken parmesan was HUGE and the guests that ordered that were very pleased. Negatives: - We did not get the hors d'oeuvres we ordered. Instead of chicken skewers and a fruit/veggie display, we got egg rolls and bruschetta. However, we got them free as part of a promotion, so I didn't complain. - Not all steaks were created equal. Apparently some guests sitting near the back of the venue received really tiny steaks, and they had to request more food. However, they were apparently very accommodating to that request. - The asparagus and potatoes were pretty overcooked, which is a typical wedding complaint but still worth mentioning. Overall, I had a fine experience with Ambrosino's, just not exceptional.

Best Sub Sandwiches for lunches. The catering is fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to cater for a graduation, communion, or any event. The staff is very friendly and, you do not wait a long time for items you need at the deli.
(5)David L.
Five stars! Yep! I love this place! I'm not sure exactly when we started going here, but it was recommended to us by my sister, who went often, to their previous location. She harbored a mild resentment towards them for having moved, which was offset by the warm feelings I had for them for coming here! I know it's been 10 or 15 years at least! I often wonder if the staff thinks I might be challenged in some area. I'm sure they recognize me, yet, invariably, I stand at the deli counter, entranced. Like a neophyte. It's just that, everything I've had from this place has been great! And, as I'm ordering the things that I have had, and love. I lament the things I have yet to try, and probably will love. Their sausage and beef are some of the best on the south side! Their bread is perfect! I've had lasagna, spaghetti, eggplant, and chicken Parmesan, all much to the liking of myself, and my family. I have tried many of their sandwiches. I am a godfather man! That sentence looks like it needs a comma! However, the godfather sandwich is one of the best Italian subs I've had, and, I'm a large guy who has been around the sub block! We've had catering from Ambrosinos. The roast pork is great! See above for a review of the sandwiches, and beef! Just wanted to put a shout out to a family business that has always made every dealing we've had with them a pleasure! Thanks for the quality, and the food!

Fantastic food... There catering is so yummy and plenty of it too...they make sure that there is enough and even extra.. We have used them for years.. Fresh- flavorful- seasoned perfect. So worth it!!!

Excellent little authentic Italian market! We stopped in recently to give the much talked about subs a try. After perusing the menu, I decided on a beef and Gorgonzola panini on sourdough. My hubby went with a classic meatball and cheese sub. Once home we dug in and the sandwiches were very good! My panini was tasty but the meat seemed a little dry. To be fair, I had a taste of my husband's meatball sub and it was super tasty! I will go with that next time. They have a ton of options to choose from, so it is a great place to stop for a sandwich or to grab a pre made dinner for later. We also picked up some fresh Parmesan and a jar of Ambrosino's marinara to try. If you crave authentic Italian, this is the perfect place to either buy authentic ingredients or pick up a pre-made meal!
(4)Larry P.
This place is awesome. The sandwiches rock, the pizza setups are great for making a easy homemade meal with the kids. Frozen pasta and raviolis are all great. I could go on and on about the food here. The prices are very reasonable. You cannot go wrong.
(5)Jonathan G.
Don't be fooled by this small little store. They do a great job of providing excellent service. Sandwiches are great and the catering is phenomenal. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for catering. Small parties or large. They have been around for a long time so they know what they are doing.
(5)Joe M.
I ordered a simple pannini on the phone. They said it would take 25 minutes. First mistake. I get there and of course they rudely don't even recognize that i am there. They could say i will be with u in a moment, but they are all rude and i wait. Second mistake. I give them my name, and they didn't even start making it!!!!!!!! Assholes! Third mistake. I walk out, and those ignorant people didn't even apologize. Forth n final mistake I go to the fabulous Mariano's down the street and order a delicious panini to my request. Guess what? Cheaper and tastes better. Good luck ambrinos. Mariano's is better in every way. Maybe if u were nice to customers you wouldn't be going out of business! I have been there before and they are the most ignorant staff and owner that i have seen. This topped it. I will never return

This is a great little local business. My boyfriend used to come here a lot for a sandwich and they have a great deli counter as well as a lot of grocery items and italian desserts (that I still need to try). I've had a few deli sandwiches and loved them all. My boyfriend has gotten an Italian Beef sandwich here and loved it. I've also had the gnochi once. It wasn't the greatest I've ever had but I would order it again. What I need to try is their tiramusi. I definitely recommend this place over most sandwich shops in the area. Definitely go here before you ever go to a subway for a sandwich. They are fast and very friendly here. My gnochi came with a meatball but I wasn't eating meat at the time so they gave me garlic bread instead. Great service and fresh food!
(4)Nick S.
Awesome meatball subs! The bread is really good and the meatballs are homemade. I keep wanting to try other things but can't pass up the meatball sub.
(5)Clifford S.
I like this place, they have salads, sides and really good Italian submarine sandwiches. We have them every once in a while when my wife doesn't want to cook. Since I don't cook we are glad Ambrosino's is there. Their sandwiches are very fresh and on really good crusty Italilan bread. When I come in to get the sandwiches I see the pasta dinner plates and mentally smack myself like the V-8 commercials. One day when no one wants to cook dinner, I will remember to try their pasta dinners. Especially now that Enricos is gone, this looks like a great replacement. Ambrosino's - for those times when you don't feel like cooking but still want a tasty dinner at a reasonable price.
(4)Denise D.
I admit it: I pick up a frozen lasagna here sometimes when I said I'd cook but don't feel like cooking. Like yesterday. It's yummy and it has bowties! Adorable. I also really, really love their vodka sauce which I put with tons of stuff at home (so I *feel* like I'm cooking) like ravioli or sauteed vegetables with penne or garlic toast. Judging from the other comments, though, I think I should get some subs sometime! Now if only they had those yummy little lemon cookies I sometimes see at Italian shops.
(4)John K.
Best beef sandwich in town! Way better than Portillos. I believe the secret to their success lies in the sandwich preparation. The bread is amazing, and the cheese and garidinera are placed at the bottom of the sandwich so they don't roll off. This creates a lovely sandwich eating experience. Go try it. Get hot peppers on sandwich.
(5)Emily B.
I find that if I buy deli meat from the store, I get over excited and over buy. The next thing I know I have 17 pounds of salami, turkey and various cheeses. With only two people in the house on a normal basis, it then proceeds to spoil in my fridge and I am then basically throwing money into the garbage can. Not good for business. So, in a stroke of genius, my husband and I have started a quest to find a good cold cut sandwich in the area. I figure this way I can just eat it all in one sitting and not have it go bad in my fridge. See, I told you, genius. We started out at Ambrosino's. It is a combo Italian grocery store / deli. When we walked in, we were briefly distracted by all of the goodies in the freezer section and the various pastas on the shelves. However, we quickly regained focus and made a bee line to the deli in the back. After a quick survey I settled on the Italian combo and my boo thang got a meatball sub. They were both delectable. The bread was the perfect combination of crusty and soft. The meats had a great salty flavor that was offset by the vinegary dressing and cool vegetables. We also got some side salads that were pretty tasty. My favorite was the loaded potato salad. The macaroni salad and Greek pasta salad were also good. The best part is that all of this deliciousness is relatively inexpensive. The sandwiches range between $5 and $6 and the salads are about $2-$3, depending on size. The quality is far superior to any of the sandwich chain restaurants and it will run you about the same price. Check it out before you go and get yourself one of those "$5 foot longs".
(5)Kelly G.
Forget subway, jimmy johns, this place has the best sub sandwiches in Frankfort! It's also a great little store. I've had there catered food and highly recommend them.
(5)Jeremy A.
This is my go-to place for an Italian sub. I've been eating these for over ten years now, and this place has the best in the area. There is a huge selection here with tons of Italian products. I mainly just come in for the sandwich, and maybe some cheese occasionally. It's nice to have places like this around. I ordered the 6 foot italian sub for a party, and it was a huge hit. We had about 30 people eating that sandwich throughout the night, with some still left over! The giant sub will be my go to food for the next big gathering. One word of caution: you need seats that fold through to your trunk, or a truck or something to get the giant sub home-It is not split into two boxes! I'm sure they could give you two 3 foot subs instead, but wheres the fun in that?
(5)Alicia V.
I honestly don't know what all the hype is about this deli. It's suppose to have great sausage and subs. however their subs are very skimpy and the sausages are very dry. The lasagne is made with mostaciolli noodles with a bland red sauce. Ambrosinos sells over priced Italian groceries. They have a Very small selection of breads. They also have a very small selection of cold drinks but no cold coffees or teas. No desserts! The beef sandwiches are very dry. The pulled pork sandwich has very tough chunks of pork with a tangy sauce. Service is slow. Rubinos in Tinley Park is an authentic Italian deli with 4 times more deli, breads and meats. They also have pizza set ups for less as well as Italian cookies, tiramisu, Italian ice ,produce, etc.
(1)Alisha M.
A hidden gem!!!!!! It's amazing in here. I always get all of my ingredients for specialty dishes here and they are always fantastic. They make their ricotta fresh in house and you can really taste the difference between theirs and pretty much anyone else's. Their meatballs are great, selections of dry pastas and sauces is vast. Everything you could ever want in a little stop, try a canoli and eggplant pram!!
(5)William K.
What a little treasure this turned out to be! Right in my backyard, I get just about everything I need here when it comes to cooking an Italian meal. They also have a decent wine selection. They have an absolutely incredible deli! Their spicy and mild sausage are incredible and their subs are the best you will ever have. You should also try their side salads. I had an artichoke salad that was unbelievable! Priced very fair and the service is spectacular!
(5)Ed S.
I used to like to visit Ambrosino's for lunch when I was working at a client up the road in Mokena. Although it was a little bit more of a drive, the sandwiches were more than worth it. This is not only a great place for lunch (the subs are all wonderful and the bread is always fresh) but there's a large selection of genuine Italian foods. I highly recommend as either a lunch option or as a place to pick up food for a family gathering!
(4)Anna B.
Great catering food! They also have a great deli! The store has great unique Italian groceries!
(5)John C.
Great meatball sandwich, the Godfather sandwich came on fresh bread, and I also tried the italian sausage. All were fresh, and the bread is the best part. I will be back to try more of their cold cut sandwiches.
(4)Melissa B.
Excellent Italian deli that does great catering. Prices are very reasonable! Wonderful small store for specialty items and a few Italian necessities. Also awesome sandwiches for carry out. Especially the beef!
(5)Greg D.
I love this place. Great place to pick up deli lunch meat the Italian cheeses. They have a decent selection of Italian wines. They have great sausage and subs as well. We have had catering from here and thought it was great.
