Garlic-Parmesan boneless wings are my jam! This place does great wings and boneless! Good for kids. Good for grown ups. A little pricey but their stuff is super fresh! The buffalo sauce is on the spicy side so be careful. Even the wimpy sauce has some kick so beware!

Northwestern might not survive without Wings Over to keep us going during those long late night study sessions. I prefer bone-in to boneless wings because they're crunchy and more fun to eat, but either option is perfect if you want a decently priced meal or snack. Honey BBQ is my favorite non spicy flavor, but my real love is that they offer a full range of extra spicy buffalo flavors. The spice level I choose really depends on my mood that day, but they're always good. Waffle fries are great and sweet potato fries aren't bad!

It's perfect for those super late night visits as a hangover cure. The wings are pretty big as they claim to be, but they aren't that great to eat. They are edible and convenient and that is all. Service is really non-existent as it's more of a fast food kind of feel with only one person in the front taking orders and handing them to you when it's ready. They have a huge seating area that seems to be empty every time I have been in there.

Closed July 24, 2015. Even in a university town, poor customer service and mediocre food will do you in...

I used to love ordering Wings Over, and, honestly, I really love their honey bbq wigs. I even love their fries, which are usually crispy and steamy (although sometimes they arrived soggy). About a week ago, however, one of my close friends ordered Wings Over one night - and it never arrived. He called them twice to ask about whether or not his delivery was going to arrive, and he was assured both times that it was. Obviously, it never did. He then called the next day to ask if he was being refunded for the wings that never came. He was assured that the refund had already gone through (without anyone informing him) and that the money should show up in four to five days. Four to five days later, the money still hasn't appeared in his account. Not only is it unacceptable that his wings never arrived, the customer service he received following this incident was awful. No one ever apologized for the error, and he was informed literally until Wings Over closed that his wings were "on their way."

Ordered to go 5/28 after 8pm. Wings are good. Sweet potato fries are usually soggy and they are not friendly at all over the phone. Very short and no thank yous. Only ordered cause buffalo Joes was closed.

This place is so unprofessional. We ordered a meal at night from these people and the driver never showed up. Then when we called the person on the phone was rude and said the order would be right out. She actually hung up on my son. It never showed up again. When I called no one answered the phone. I went over the next day and demanded my money back. The woman called me the next day (because apparently there is never a manager there) and said that they had reimbursed me. I just checked. NO REIMBURSEMENT. These people are so inept. I just filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

SO disappointed. I've been meaning to write this update for a while now, but because my first few encounters with Wings Over Evanston have been largely positive, I tried to overlook their recent string of disappointments. BUT my most recent experience was so bad it had to be done. The last time I ordered from here (i.e. a couple days ago) I ordered delivery about 45 minutes before closing. I understand that late night orders are more of a hassle, but my experience was unacceptable. 1. Order was late. 2. Two of the 10 wings were broken and had bone shards in the order. 3. One of the chicken wings looked undercooked (pink liquids seeping out after I took a bite) 4. Completely forgot to include the dressing. 5. Barely any sauce. Unacceptable, Wings Over Evanston. You lost a valuable customer.
(1)Cyndi G.
Love their large wings! Waaaay larger than wing stop, buffalo joes, and other places. I recommend their spicey garlic, mustang ranch and garlic parmesan... bbq is good too. So many flavors to choose from.
(5)Noah E.
I would like to leave 4 stars based on the good but the service we got when we ordered was just a joke. When we walked up to the counter we never even received a hello. Once we started ordering she seemed miserable to have to be working. She shouldn't be working a job with face to face interaction. On top of that the kitchen staff had their rap music blaring, literally to the point I thought there was a club out back. Very professional.
(2)Zack H.
This place is like the dominatrix of chicken spots. I love how they make me feel, but they always make me feel so naughty about it. I always get the wimpy wings here which always makes me feel like a little fat girl but I kind of like that so there's that. They're the equivalent of mild wings but they just like to hear me say it to put me in my place. Safe word is WIMPY
(4)T C.
Came here from west rogers park to try a diff place for wings.I ordered 15 "naked wings" fried extra crispy with 3 sauces on the side.... Absolutely delish!! I am a wing connoisseur and this night the wings were delish!! Ill be back again!!
(4)Traci H.
This place is horrible... The only thing that was good wast the Sprite. The food was very fresh. I ordered the boneless wings with the sauce on the side, it was clear that they watered down the honey mustard. The waffle fries I ordered was soggy and lacked any seasoning.... I will NEVER order from here again...
(1)Rogelio R.
Delicious BUT the worst customer service. 2 out if 5 times they never send the Coca-Cola 2lts! I called and they said "OK, in 35mins I'll send it" say whattttt? Do I have to wait longer? Anyway, they never sent the coke... They sell just wings, they do not care the customer... There are more options who do care!
(1)Celena C.
As a wings-fanatic and starving student, I used to order these babies three times a week. I know. I will almost always get teriyaki, honey bbq, and golden bbq. The dry rubs are okay, but it's all about the extra on sauce. The phone service isn't the best sometimes, and I've had some impatient, kinda rude answerers. They made "all flats" an option on the website, but didn't give it to me whenever I tried to check it off. Also refused it on the phone. Then don't make it an option, know what I mean? Otherwise, I have never been disappointed. Optimal for college students who need a late night fix. Not for the cholesterol levels though.

I went here one night around midnight. The place smelled like dirty water and the workers were just texting on there phones. I then ordered my boneless wings meal and wait about thirty minutes. When I bought my food back it was cold like it was sitting around twenty minutes and tasted awful. I tried to contact management in the store and by the franchise, I was ignored by both. I will never try this place again and recommend it to no one.
(1)Pee M.
They Took 25mins To Give My Food And Wouldn't Let Me Dine In Cause They Closed In A Hour..
(2)Liza P.
I've only ever ordered from this place, so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant, but the food they make it pretty decent. I'm honestly not that big a fan of the wings themselves, but the waffle fries are awesome, everything is pretty cheap, and the delivery time is short.
(3)Chris L.
The best wings in Evanston! The wings and waffle fries are perfect when you need to do some late-night stress eating. :) Favorite flavors are sweet onion, honey BBQ, and Jamaican jerk.
(5)Bethany A.
Love, love this place. Sometimes during a long study sesh, Wings Over is the only thing that keeps me going. Delivery is fast, food is always hot... what's not to like? Their normal wings are very delicious and juicy (while Buff Joe's has a yummier classic sauce, I think, their wings are significantly smaller). It's always fun to munch on these with friends late at night. Boneless wings are also amazing -- I order these when I'm just eating by myself. They're always juicy and hot and perfectly fried. Favorite dry rubs: garlic parmesan (it's so addictive and delicious, but on the saltier side) and mustang ranch. Favorite sauces: honey BBQ and cajun BBQ (both are on the sweet side, but it's so good).
(4)Gabriel C.
I was on my way to my favorite wing place, buff joes and this place caught my eye. Its pretty big inside and just opened so I decided to give it a try. The biggest thing that attracted me was the late hours, its always good to have a late night spot. I love spicy foods and I tried their jet fuel flavor, ya its pretty hot lol. They have a lot of flavors and other options than just wings. The size of the wings are a good size but overall in taste I give it a - its aaaight.
(3)Tian Y.
I don't eat Wings Over much anymore, but used to order delivery a bunch of times a month. I like the wings for being big and juicy. And the waffle fries with ranch seasoning are delicious. And free (and fast) delivery is a huge plus - possibly half the reason why I chose here over other places when I want food delivered. The sauces for the wings are ... really meh. Everything tastes really sweet and sticky after maybe 3 wings. Plus, there is serious inconsistency with the saucing for delivery - sometimes there's like, a drop. Other times there's so much that all the sauces mix together on the way here. Same problem with dry rubs. The parmesan garlic is a good dry rub flavor... if any stuck to their wings. The sauces are really what keeps me from getting delivery from here much anymore - it doesn't leave me feeling good afterwards, except maybe as a once in a blue moon thing.
(3)Vu N.
I like to go here sometimes when there's nothing left open. I admit they do have some nice wings but it's not a big wow factor. They make you buy the drinks and don't give free water which sucks and you get one sauce for like thirty wings which is pretty ridiculous.
(3)Andrew S.
Basically the only viable non-pizza late night delivery option in the area. The portions are right, the flavor is there and the delivery is lightning quick for the right price. Calories? aplenty, but oh well, because something tells you that as soon as these wings have navigated your esophagus you will again be able to walk straight. The wings are nice and meaty. The sauces are all good but id recommend the Sweet Chii, Cajun Teriyaki, Jamaican Jerk, and Oriental Sesame (which isnt on grubhub but you can ask for, its great) The waffle fries are superb late night fare, and at $4 a lb you cant go wrong. Just make sure to ask for them extra crispy. Id avoid the sweet potato fries, they sound good i know but fail to deliver.
(5)Leo S.
Really a 3.5. I enjoy this place quite a bit, and the people I live with absolutely love it. The low delivery minimum, $0.75 delivery fee, and great portions makes this perfect for college people to order especially late night. They are also blazing fast in comparison to other Evanston places. The normal wings are huge and meaty. The boneless are large chicken strips, usually pretty juicy. The sauces make the place. I'm a big fan of hot garlic, after burner, and cajun blackened dry rub. They do like to over sauce things normally and barely give you any when you ask for light, so don't expect perfect sauce tossed wings. As a result the wings are rarely crispy even when I ask for well-done. For the price and amount of food, this place is pretty solid.

Was a huge fan/patron of Wings Over Amherst during my undergrad and was thrilled to find out they had an Evanston location. Tastes exactly the same as the original in Hadley, MA; a must for every visit to IL. Delicious wings (honey BBQ, honey mustard & red alert are my faves) and fries with a side of nostalgia - what's not to love?

So I called in my order of Wings as recommended by my fellow Yelpers but the girl on the phone was difficult to understand so I adjusted my hearing to south side mode and it got a little better, kinda. The girl on the line mumbled and I just placed my order hoping she got it right. I walked in to the place and two teens were behind the counter, one was leaning over as if he was lounging at home in his kitchen table and the other one was on her head set with a scowl on her face and wearing a black Nike shirt and I wasn't sure if she worked there or not. Anyway the guy lounging made eye contact and said in his best semi formed sentence "u ordered?" I replied yo yo yo dog uh huh. It didn't go over well but nevertheless he handed me my order and the Nike girl rang me up never once making eye contact. Perhaps she had pinkeye or something who knows. Anyway I digress, got the wings home and man were they good! Go if you can tolerate poorly -trained -wish-they-were-just-just Texting lazy asses. I give wings 4 stars but service 2 so I'll meet halfway and give 3 stars overall.

I had an itch for some wings over the weekend so I go on Grubhub. I found this spot in Evanston and thought I'd give them a shot. I ordered the DC-10 combo. I got a pound of boneless wings and some fries. I also ordered up some O's. So when they say boneless wings, they aren't lieing! These were more like chicken strips! Pretty darn tasty with the parm/garlic seasoning. They also give you a boat load of crinkle fries, way more than I needed. Glad I ordered the O's, they were pretty darn good. They were even delivered nice and crisp! I wish they offered some sides besides all the fried stuff. Maybe some potato salad, slaw, beans, mac n cheese.........soemthin! I'll be back though.......pretty good wings! Way better than BW3.

So, I found myself in Evanston yesterday and stopped for a quick bite. It was Subway or Wings Over Evanston, so this place won. When I first walked in, I was a little disappointed by the service. The girl at the front desk was not personable at all and seemed sort of annoyed at my questions regarding the menu. I proceeded with my order though and ordered a chicken wrap with a ranch dry rub and some cheese fries. (Healthy, I know! Don't judge me!) While my wrap was huge, similar in size to a small baby, okay more like the size of a Chipotle burrito, it was kind of flavorless. I opted for the dry rub ranch over dipping it in dressing to save calories, but my chicken was rather dry and the rub didn't add much flavor either, so I ended up having to ask for dressing anyhow. Okay, so I know it may sound petty, but I was also charged for my side of ranch, which sort of annoyed me because it's a wing place...but I paid the fee and dipped the hell out of my wrap and choked it down. Ever over-grilled a chicken breast in the oven? That's what the chicken in my wrap reminded me of. However, the fries were excellent! They were crispy, tasty, golden and delicious! I think my experience would have been better if I would have ordered wings--after all it is a wing place!
(2)Kat ..
Huge wings, huge servings, decent sauces and unbeatable prices. Not the best wings I've ever had, but far from the worst. I've always ordered over GrubHub and it shows up so freaking fast, which automatically takes them up a few notches.

I just recently came here a few days ago since I've been on a wing fiend as of late. The ambiance: Large open dining area. Two flat-panel TVs airing the Olympics. Not bad. Seems like a good place for a meal with a big group. The food: I ordered the DC-3 as it's apparently the most popular item on the menu. I figure with so many sauces, I'd get the cashier's opinion on her favorite: "Kickin' BBQ," she said. Kickin' BBQ it is. Think of it as a smoky buffalo sauce, but much milder. Out comes my order! What's the first thing I notice? The boneless wings are actually chicken strips! This is not a bad thing in and of itself, but I like smaller pieces of chicken when I order "boneless wings". The batter was unimpressive (mind you these were basically fried chicken strips tossed in sauce). It came out mostly soggy and it was disappointing to not have a *crunch* when its appearance would make you expect so. The sauce was pretty good, but it did little in saving the meal. The value: A bit on the expensive side for just the DC-3 ($7 or so all said and done for a "1/2lb of chicken"). I'm not sure if their meals are any better. The service: No complaints here. TL;DR - Boneless wings are actually chicken strips. Soggy batter. "Meh" prices.

I really don't know where to start with this place. Service I guess. One of the cashiers was too busy sucking on a lollipop to provide a greeting, and I almost forgot what I wanted to order in between the smacking of her lips. The other employee(I think she was) was just lounging around listening to music through her headphones. The loud rap Music blaring from the kitchen was just throwing salt on the open wound. If I ever had to guess why the entire place was empty, take everything I listed above to answer the question. Now onto the food. I ordered 20 of the traditional wings(unfortunately) with the various sauces, all of which were disappointing. I ordered a large waffle fries to go with the wings which was an even bigger mistake. The texture of the fries was the equivalent of a stale dog treat. And even though I was told that my order would be ready in 10 minutes, 30 minutes later I had bad fries and wings. In short, that was the last time I'll ever visit this establishment. Sadly, I have yet to figure out what was worse; the service or the food. I guess that is irrelevant because I won't be back!
(1)Ellie R.
Decent wings place - I prefer it for takeout or delivery, definitely not eating in (they don't give you tap water and say that if you want water you should buy a bottle - this definitely scares off the cheapo in me). I prefer the sandwiches to the wings, just for the messy/sticky factor (but you still get sticky with the sandwiches - just less so). The fries are good too. Sometimes I feel like the flavor of the sauce is a little overwhelming, which I'm not a fan of. However, my boyfriend is really into spicy food and he raves about this place - whenever we go up there he always wants to eat here.
(4)Bruce B.
Stumbled upon Wings Over Evanston with my father. He's a huge fan because they make saucless wings (not my thing). However, they are crispy and tender inside if you like sauceless wings. Also, they have numerous rubs to choose from for being saucless. I'm not converting, but they are pretty good. Their wings are better than Buffalo Wild Wings. They are bigger, cooked better, and the service is fantastic. I also tried their slab of ribs - okay. The prices are reasonable and they have a great selection of sauces. I'd give it a try - solid B to B +.
(4)Mike S.
Haven't had better wings for a while. Much meatier than WingStop. Friendly service.
(5)Matt M.
Apparently this place is bigger out in Connecticut. But I can see why its popular, the recipe is simple and delicious. They have an interesting theme and a very friendly menu. The combo deals are meant for 1, 2, 3 people etc and are perfectly proportioned. Where is the 5th star? Well lazy cashier will cost you one. She didnt ring us up as a combo and when I asked for our drinks and fries she said she "would have to ring us up on another ticket". Which would essentially take away the "combo" savings and make me wonder just what the hell they tell their employees about problem solving. No worries, ask for a manager and the problem is solved. It was kind of dead but it was a tuesday around 9pm. I imagine it gets a lot busier (as well it should). I will definitely be back for my wing needs soon.
(4)Giles S.
"Not very good. Wings I received were definitely not fresh and were mostly left over from another day or frozen. They were dry and tasteless. The fries I ordered with the meal weren't much better." I ordered a 15 piece and ended up throwing out half the order along with the fries.
(1)Jacko J.
As good if not better than BWW. Def better than Joes. Big crispy wings with great sauces. Be careful because some flavs are dry rub. Didn't like those nearly as much. Some of the people there are great but a few of the workers need improvement in cust serv. Not that friendly. All in all I love this place because of the wings.
(4)Sean K.
Big meaty, fall off the bone tender boneless chicken wings. Tons of different sauces. Simply the best.
(5)Andrea C.
If you work , live or go to school in Evanston you know all about the usual spots, Buffalo Joe' s and Chicken Shack . But before you head to either of those places yhou have got to try Wings Over Evanston. They have got like 20 different flavors and i've tried at least 4 and so far so GREAT!! The wings are meaty and juicy. They have boneless kinda like chicken tenders made fresh. I had the regular wings and so good. Honey BBQ, Oriental Teriaki, Cajun BBQ, and Sweet Onion BBQ are all winners. Each had a distinct taste and ever so tasty. There are also 5 different flavors or levels of Buffalo style wings. The regular fries are just okay but the waffle fries are a winner. Plus they also have five different varieties. The menu is a little complicated and volume is key when ordering because it can a be a little pricey for just one person. U can sit inside and watch the game but no liquor available, which makes it kid friendly. The very best part THEY TAKE PLASTIC, unlike the other chicken joints previously mentioned. Oh and I must mention the sweet potato fries must haves with honey mustard sauce. They also have salads and sandwiches but wings are the reason this place is a definite Evanston destination.
(5)Tyler K.
Pretty good, big sized wings and boneless wings. Much better than for example BWW and similarly priced. Will be returning.
(4)Ash A.
open until late!! Found this place for a midnight snack craving..the buffalo wings are finger licking, spicy, hot, burning good!! I went straight for the hot stuff but they seem to have a lot of other options..maybe next time...mmmmm
(5)Jim H.
I love wings over Evanston. It's great late night food, when you aren't sober sand want a snack. The delivery is great. I really like the waffle fries with Cajun rub. But do not like the regular fries they have. Get the waffle fries instead. Many people don't like rubs on their wings, but I am a fan of the rubs they use here. Although the sauces are excellent as well.
(5)Jia W.
The fries are really soggy here, and the wings are nothing to write home about. I've had various flavors of their boneless and bone-in wings. Regardless of those traits, I order from this place when I'm just too tired to give a sheet. The speed of delivery is very good (always within 30 min for me), and they're open late.
(3)Jane L.
Given it's late night hours, I order wayyyyy too often from here after a late night out. The good thing about it is the fast delivery and pretty decent wings. The bad part is anything other than the wings. I am a fan of the Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard, Teriyaki and any of the pre-soaked sauce boneless wings. The wings are usually cooked tenderly and they lay on a heavy dose of sauce, which is the way i like my wings. However, their french fries and waffle fries are pretty bland and disappointing. Often times the french fries will arrive soggy, having sat in a closely tied box for too long. Their onion rings are pretty good but one order always has too few onion rings, which is kind of a rip off for its price. In short, if you are starving with no options at midnight, I would go with them. Otherwise I would look elsewhere for wings.
(3)Rob T.
I review this place a month ago, and I'm not happy for the owners, because I'm pretty sure they had no idea this staff was running their business in the ground...but I'm so happy this"So Called Customer Service"is over. I new this would not last with that negative vibe in a business.
(1)Keith C.
Probably my fault for getting a burger at a wing place but it was burnt and dry. No flavor. Had to wait a while (20 or so minutes) to get it when they weren't busy. Not too mention the girl at the counter was very rude. Maybe I'll try ordering wings as take out but this place sucked so far.
(2)Peter Z.
Great place to get some fast chicken tenders! They specialize in chicken strips, so it's not fair to compare this place to chicken shack, which is just around the corner from Wings Over Evanston. This is part of a chain store with a set menu, but that doesn't change the fact that there are sooo many flavor choices. I've had their mild, spicy teriyaki, and something else they recommended when I first ate here. The price is a little bit cheaper than Chicken shack. I have only went in at night (even at midnight), so the place is always empty; I don't know what the place looks like during the day. However, they do have a large space with a good number of table. There are 3 large TV's around the room, for those of you who are sports fans. Overall, pretty good (junk) food. Their chicken strips are the best! Of course, this place is not out-of-my-mind spectacular (hence not a 5 star), but very good place to grab chicken strips for yourself or friends.
(4)Sally M.
Love this place! So many choices of sauces and types of wings...always made fresh for you so you have to wait if you don't call ahead. Have only had the boneless wings. Haven't tried anything else because they are so good...
(5)J R.
Ordered from this place for lunch as a delivery, I ordered on grub hub so I cant really speak on costumer service but I do have to say that the delivery person was super nice. I ordered boneless wings and fries. The fries were packed separately which I liked they were perfect, crunchy on the outside soft and warm on the inside the wings were really good too you could really taste the freshness the meat wasn't frozen, processed etc you can definitely taste the difference. The only problem I had is that the wings arrived kinda cold so I ended up heating them up in the microwave. Other than that, this place is pretty good Ill definitely be ordering from them again
(4)Nicole M.
Absolutely the greatest place on earth. The delivery woman was the most pleasant creature I have ever interacted. Speaking to her was something I'll never forget, if you met a group of girls on ridge ave then we want to thank you again for everything you did. Also one time I got 60 wings for free (-;
(5)Thomas T.
simple 3 stars. I ordered out here the other day. I passed by it a couple weeks ago, not knowing that the place ever existed. Food was ok. what can you expect for a delivery? Won't be as good if you dine in. I got the boneless chicken wings w/ sweet potatoe fries. The fries were pretty good, i'd say that was the best part of the meal. They were somewhat soggy (from it being so hot & then put into a container for delivery). The boneless chicken was ok. nothing to wow me about. I actually think they were chicken tenders, only because they were so god dang big. i got the sweet honey ones. it really reminded me of the frozen Tyson Brand chicken tenders a lot, just dipped in some sauce. not really sure if they were them or not, but who knows. With BWW, Buffalo Joes, Chicken Shack (i think), & Harold's chicken in the area i feel like you have to bring it. I'll probably eat here again, just to see how the wings are but to definitely get some fries. It just won't be my first choice.
(3)Nick K.
no free delivery anymore but still hits the spot at midnight uhehehehehehehehehe
(4)Liam F.
Amazing food. Amazon delivery service. Best wings in Evanston by far. They have so many options at reasonable prices, and the wings are always so meaty. I highly recommend ordering here. It's my favorite place to get wings.
(5)Andy P.
OMG chicken wings have not gotten any greater than they have here! Every time I go up to Evanston I feel like I have to order something from here. It is that good. I love the fact that they have crinkle cut fries (bc they are my favorite) and they're wings are delicious. I haven't personally eaten at the restaurant itself bc I have always ordered it for delivery (which is super speedy and the delivery guy is usually always nice). This place is a MUST visit if you're ever in Evanston!
(5)Aaron P.
The wings were good. The fries were good. It took a long time for our order to be prepared, but I would definitely return here to try some more of their many different BBQ sauces. Also, the cashier was patient with us while we figured out what we wanted to order. I wish that they offered fountain drinks or another way to get cups of water for free.
(4)Stephanie L.
It's midnight. You're hungry. You've got an Econ midterm in the morning and you can't be bothered to walk outside to buy food. And tonight is just not a "Papa Johns" kinda night. Wings Over is the perfect solution. There have been many (perhaps...too many) instances where I've ordered Wings Over delivery. I either order the boneless wings with honey bbq or their classic wings. WIth a side of sweet potato fries, they were perfect. Every time they've delivered it has been timely and sometimes in as little as 15 minutes. Albeit, there have been times when my fries were slightly soggy due to the steam. But these things are overlooked in lieu of taste and timeliness.
(4)Zach G.
Not bad, not really wings, just big chicken tenders, stay away from the dry seasonings and its pretty good for the price range
(4)Molly S.
Hooray! Love this place. Here's the thing though...if you want just straight up classic buffalo wings, I would say go to Buff Joe's. They just taste the best. But, they're a bit puny, so if you're looking for big meaty wings and varieties of sauces, Wings Over Evanston is really awesome. Eff Buffalo Wild WIngs. That place is gross. Wings Over Evanston is my favorite for 3 reasons: 1) Their wings are big and meaty. 2) Their boneless wings are not those gross mechanically mooshed together bits...they're just deep fried tenders. And they are awesome. 3) Their sauces are really good. My favorite is Sweet Onion BBQ, but I also really like Cajun Teriyaki, Oriental Sesame, and the Mustang Ranch dry seasoning. I will say that their straight up buffalo sauces are just okay. We tried Cruisin' Altitude, supposedly just a step above totally mild, but it was spicier than we were expecting. Wouldn't have been a problem per se, but it just wasn't what we were looking for, and I really think Buff Joe's is better for classic sauce. Their waffle fries are really good. I wouldn't recommend getting one of the dry seasonings on them, since there's already so much flavor going on with the wings, and the fries get really salty with the dry seasonings on there. But, to each his or her own. I totally think this is the best wing place in Evanston. Plus...they deliver and are open late!
(4)Lena B.
Great ribs. Delicious boneless wings. I hate eating bone-in wings, so their wings (more like medium sized tenders) are perfect. Tons of sauce options to choose from. And the waffle fries are fantastic. Oh, and they always deliver super fast. Perfect for late night studying, or a night in with friends.

After having been to Wings a number of times and always enjoying the wings, sadly we are usually the only eat in customers in the place. Sooooo I ask the cashier to change the channel on one of their 3 tv's t The owner says NO!! Wait, remember there isn't anybody else in here... and there are 3 tvs. What the heck? So,,,, I don't think that I'll be coming back here for a while. Food: good... circus: poor

Pretty good. It seems like when you go around when they first open the food is left over from the day before. Usually carry out for dinner and its good. Cruising altitude is their 2nd level of buffalo sauce and will get you going. Can't imagine what the hot stuff is like.

Wings Over is a cut above most of the dozen or so places you could get wings with access to a car. I'm a boneless-only guy. Ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and an order of sweet potato fries -- it was one of the most hearty and delicious meals I've had of this kind. I'm eager to go back and try more boneless wing and sauce combinations! Try them out -- they sure are brave opening in well-established Chicken Shack's back yard.

These wings are about a 3 and 1/2 out of 5 for me. They weren't as crispy as I like my wings and the sauces didn't blow my mind. It's pretty good but I am not rushing to come back. Wing Stop and Buffalo Joes are both better options for wings in Evanston. However, my favorite wings in Chicago are at Mullens in Rodgers Park and Mickey Finns in Libertyville.
