Let's see: 40 minutes added to delivery time without explanation = bad Rude delivery driver = bad Crust that tastes like watery Pizza Hut pan crust = bad Sausage ("Armand's Own!") that tastes like mediocre Pizza Hut sausage = bad Being overpriced = bad On the bright side, the thin crust wasn't bad. Makes it a 2-star effort, I suppose. No way I'm going back, though.

I have been ordering their pizza and other appetizers for many years,I believe they Pre freeze their cheese Pizza's of all sizes. Then when they are busy they use those FROZEN Pizza's and add ingredients on top and a little extra cheese and try to cut cornersIm a chef trust me I know how it's done. I paid huge money for my Clams and Thin crust i just bought tonight, over $40 with delivery for a Pizza and Baked clams,The clams tasted like they were from the night before, they had tons of grit and sand in them, the bottom inside was burnt and the Pizza was shit to say the Least. Instead of calling and telling them about it,this is the best way,Then Maybe you'll Learn to searve bullshit food. This will be the Last time you get my Business,Im on Unemployment, and still want to enjoy a Nice Pie and clams once in a while,Armand's always was the go to for awesome Yes High Priced But Delicious food,.Just Like any business. when they sell to new owners, just like Johnnies Beef,it Now SUX BALLS..........YOU LOST A 20 YEAR CUSTOMER. congrats,I guess cutting corners pays for the moment, but you loose a $50 a week customer. I always order a big pie so tomorrow at Lunch I have a nice Leftover pizza to reheat and eat........the pizza tonight Got thrown away.....WAY DOWN IN QUALITY CONTROL. SAD BUT THEY WONT LAST LONG WITH PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO DONT WANT TO SPEND ALL THAT MONEY FOR LOST QUALITY. THEY ARE RIDDING OFF THE NAME,THE FOOD SUX BIG TIME.I MEAN BURNT BAKED CLAMS AND ALMOST BROKE MY THEETH ON THE SAND AND ROCK THAT WAS IN THEM,UNWASHED CLAMS..........BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

Won't be ordering from them again. Since the original Armand's is closed down, and this newer North Ave location only has like 12 items to pick from for delivery, wouldn't you think they'd keep them in stock? The first thing out of the phone girl's mouth was "delivery is gonna be at LEAST an hour and 45 minutes...is that gonna be a problem?" Who talks like that to customers? Since we were craving specific items from their menu, we said we were ok with the wait time. We ordered an appetizer (baked clams), and she tells us "we just ran out". The last time we got delivery from Armand's, they forgot our stuffed artichoke. The time before that, they were OUT of stuffed artichokes. I'm done with Armand's crappy new impostor. We just ordered 2 appetizers and a sandwich from Jim and Pete's (baked clams and stuffed artichoke included), and it'll be here in 45 minutes, and it was way cheaper.

I used to work very close by this location and would visit often for lunch. Love everything especially the antipasto salad. But why they get 5 stars from me is because of catering services. I have hosted 2 parties this summer using Armands in Elmwood Park. They are helpful, the food is great, everyone loved it, they will deliver the food to your house in warming trays and they give you everything you need from serving spoons to salad dressing and rolls for sandwiches. They made my events so much easier because I didn't have to worry about or prepare food. If you are looking for somewhere that provides reliable service with catering or just for a quick bite to eat for lunch I highly recommend them.

Seriously? When I call and ask "Do you deliver to this area" and you say yes and then take my address down, why would you think I was picking it up? Do you just collect addresses for fun? And, when I didn't get the pizza after 90 minutes, and call to ask you - why wouldn't you throw something in instead of just delivering our now luke-warm pizza?????? Your phone girl is just an idiot, plain and simple. That being said, the sauce is a heartburn-inducing mess. There has to be about ten cloves of garlic in this stuff - and some kind of garlic butter brushed between the layers of dough on our double-dough creation. I think the vampires have all moved out of town. I warned my husband not to "try something new" and to stick with Amato's. He has now learned his lesson.

Armands is back in Elmwood Park. I enjoyed dining at their previous location simply because it was like walking into 1971. Their new location is on North Avenue, near the row of restaurants that most people hit for lunch or dinner in the neighborhood. I don't know if another pizza joint is necessary in this already overcrowded pizza district. Amato's on Harlem is great, I've been going there since they were originally at North and Austin. I've tried Old World Pizza just a quater mile from there, Spizzicco's which is next door to New Star, and Jim and Pete's (don't get me started with them) All decent places (except of Jim and Pete's) but I wish there was some kind of WOW factor here. Armand's still tastes like it did only it didn't blow me out of the water. If I had to go with a local pizza joint, I'd have to go with Amatos.

We have ordered delivery from them twice - twice they messed up the order - and messed it up badly. We ordered the Four Cheese pizza - when it came it was covered with sausage. As we are vegetarians - this meant no pizza tonight. A couple of months later we tried again - told them to make sure no sausage - it came covered in sausage. When we called to tell them - they made 1000 excuses, none of which made sense.

So, I had heard a few people talk about Armand's pizza and I finally decided to try it. I was not impressed at all. Granted, I only had a slice of pizza, but it tasted funny. It tasted like there was just a ton of parmesan cheese on top, but no mozzarella or any other type of cheese that melts. I am not one who likes a ton of cheese on my pizza, but I do like some stringy cheese on it. I am a huge fan of sauce. Not only did they not have very much sauce on their pizza, but what little sauce that was on there did not taste good to me. I ordred a garden salad to go with my slice. I thought at least that would fill me up a little since I didn't eat all my pizza. Wrong!! The salad was kind of small and nothing special. I have had garden salads at other restaurants where they put a lot of veggies, along with croutons, on top of the lettuce to make it a very nice, filling salad. There was hardly anthing to this salad. With all the other wonderful Italian/pizza places in Elmwood Park, I will probably not be going back to this one.

So we've tried this place out twice, and had bad experiences both times. The first time we wanted to eat in, and while they have 8 or 9 tables with counter service, they had no high chairs. So we decided to order a pizza for carry out. The girl said we'd be on our way in 15 minutes. NOT. 40 minutes later, one insanely hungry child and two insanely annoyed adults were on our way home. We liked the pizza, so we decided to give them another try-- this time for delivery. They told us the pizza would be there in 30 minutes. Not so much. 90 minutes later it arrived without an apology or explanation. Wouldn't have mattered, though. We aren't going back.

We love Armand's Elmwood Park and Edison Park Pizza. It's our favorite. Delicious thin crust - check, fresh ingredients - check, salads - check, check check. We love their Aloha and Casaccio specialty pizza's and, of course the yardstick - out of this world. Excellent quality, excellent service, excellent price!!

Just as good as it has always been. One of my favorite pizzas. Unlike the old location this is more of a delivery/pickup location. There are a few tables inside if you want to sit and have a slice. It truly is a unique pizza and tastes nothing like all the other cookie cutter places around. My only suggestion: PLEASE BRING BACK THE ARRIABIATA SAUCE! Other than that , it is a must try.

Third visit to this place proved that once again, the pizza is amazing. I love the sauce on the pizza and could taste it best on the plain cheese version! We also had pepperoni and sausage, but I think I will continue with the plain cheese. It is great! Loved the Arimand's salad too, but I will say the family size is really not that big. The people at the counter are very nice, as well! Loking forward to my next pizza......

The waitstaff is great, and the food is just as good as when it was located on Grand Avenue. The Casacio pizza is the best pizza I have ever eaten in my life; thin crust, not heavy, just tasty! I was super-disappointed when the Grand Avenue location closed down but I'm so happy with the service and the same great food, I think I'm over it!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
