I'm from the city so finding a place in the suburbs with pretty good gyros are few and far between. So my girlfriend took me here down the street from her house and boy was I surprised. Big Sammys opened up not too long ago so was a new place to try and convince me the suburbs had a decent gyro spot. It did not disappoint. First they give you a large portion that is worth the price of the meal. That's rare with smaller food chains but the actually give you the bang for your buck. Second most gyro spots in the burbs try to imitate the city but not here. Its there own kind of gyro that makes it unique from all the other spots out in the suburbs. Big Sammys is really a pleasant surprise.

Nice clean place with cheap but great combo's. I'm hooked on their number 1 meal, it's 2 chicago style hotdogs, fries and soda. Your food is nice and fresh, they give you way too many fries that are piping hot. I love french fries but if I eat all of them I can't eat another bite so my dogs get ate later.
