Wtih the limited choices in Effingham, this is a solid selection. Being a chain, there are no surprises here. They have an excellent salad bar, although their prepared salads are a bit underwhelming. They bring you those little crack-like biscuits as long as you keep asking for them. Our server, Patti, deserves a special call-out for being friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. For us out-of-towners who aren't that familiar with the RT menu, she guided us right on our choices, and we thank her for it. The zucchini sliders are an excellent choice, by the way.

I love a fresh salad bar and Ruby Tues. always has a good one! Our server Astrid was so nice, and so efficient, and so pretty inside and out. The host for the evening was extra helpful and cheerful too! Only thing their rolls for the evening were smaller than a walnut...wayyyyy smaller than we've had at other Ruby Tues.

Just OK. The salad bar is big but very bland and super cold. I had ribs and my wife had pasta, neither were great. The price is way to high for what you get. I would go to Lone Star or Neimergs. The cocktails were great!

The service here was not good. Our waiter was almost to the point of being rude to us. He hardly refilled our drinks and said he would bring more biscuits out, but never did! My boyfriend and I both had burgers and they were lukewarm and overdone. Meh, you could definitely find better.

Have never been for lunch at this Ruby location.. And will most likely be the last. Everything on salad bar was frozen...and evidently left over from day before. Waitress needed lots more training. Didn't get otder correct. Could not even get our tickets charged properly . brought them back with our cards 3x verifying our names..etc.. Never was correct. Stick to going in the evening hours.

Great service and manager Kevin was very nice. Food arrived in about ten minutes. Burgers were cooked well. Veggies not soggy. Soda and water refilled fast. New menu to us offered many options for all of us. Turkey burger good. Salad bar good. Bathrooms clean and well stocked. Used retail me not app to find coupons but there is also an email sign up on their website that sends out regular coupons too. Just sign up.

The servers and other employees were very nice and attentive, but the salad bar and our meals were very blah; reminded me of hospital food. Definitely would go somewhere else the next time that we are in the area.

Eat here! And get a triple prime pretzel burger. I went to a place on diners drive ins and dives in St. Louis and had their burger, it was good but Triple Prime cooked medium at Ruby Tuesday was just as good if not better.

Great service and excellent food. Went by ourselves and with family and every time have been impressed. The staff even was open to making a drink in which my mother-in-law requested. Nice to see, even though the dining room and bar area was extremely busy. As always, I LOVE the salad bar that they offer.

Pretty good food. I liked the cheddar biscuits and macaroni and cheese side was filling enough for a light dinner.

This is the best place to eat in Effingham. If you're looking for great food, reasonable prices and a relaxing atmosphere, this is the place to go. Every time we've eaten here we've left happy. I try to avoid chain restaurants, but this is as good as it gets in Eham. And yes, it's better than the local fine dining alternative. Nice, intimate seating, the food is reliably delicious, the waitstaff are excellent, the prices are reasonable. The piped-in music is even great. Bottom line: You'll leave with a happy tummy and a happy pocketbook.

After years of avoiding this restaurant, we decided to give it a try once again. We heard that it had a new menu from the one that they had years ago. In which, years ago, at our last visit to this eatery everything was horrible. The food, the service... So once we found ourselves on a 40 minute waiting list on a Wednesday night at our favorite steakhouse, we decided that since we have heard that this place has improved that we could give it another try. And I'm glad we did. The ribeye steak was just as good if not better than the steakhouse that we frequent. And my Shellfish Trio was decent. The lobster was really good, unlike some places where it turns out rubbery. Oh and I couldn't of enjoyed the shrimp anymore. Though the crab cake was lacking, or at least for my taste. It seemed bland and really bready. It was a nice relaxing experience too. Quiet and intimate. Loved it so much that we stayed for desert. And we NEVER get desert. Overall it was the best meal that I have had in a while, and when the hubby wants to go for steak again I'll be saying lets go to Ruby Tuesday instead of the usual.

It's a chain restaurant so what should I expect....the exact same as every other chain. These are just so lacking in interest anymore. At least the food was decent and the staff is good. It does offer some predictability if you are in a rush to find a place to grab a late dinner.

Service was friendly & fine, but my tilapia trio was inedible. It was as if they had dumped an entire salt shaker on the fish, and then added the three seasonings. I had to eat it from the bottom to avoid the salt layer.
