Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We love Dewey's pizza!!! I've never been a fan of STL style pizza, or Chicago deep dish, but Dewey's takes the best of NYC style pizza (the only kind IMHO) and adds incredible combinations. Their seasonal offerings are excellent. Try the Porky Fig pizza and the Harvest Fall salad while they offer it!

Nice looking place, great service, flavorless pizza. When I entered Dewey's, the scenery was nice. It had a nice decor and gave a warm, modern feeling. As I was the first one there, the service was very attentive, and friendly as well. So, the dining experience was nice. As far as the pizza, it was extremely flavorless. I got an 11" pizza with their red sauce with sausage, pepperoni and Canadian bacon. First, let's talk about the toppings. The sausage was small and, well, flavorless. This might be why they call it "sausage" instead of "Italian sausage". The pepperoni was traditional pepperoni, nothing special. The Canadian bacon slices were whole slices. While this seems like a nice concept, the Canadian bacon doesn't exactly cook with the pizza, and almost tastes like it just came out of the package. What is even more confusing is that both the sausage and Canadian bacon topping prices are the exact same, but the sizes of both are quite different, with the sausage being extremely small, unlike the Canadian bacon. So, you get the sense of being served generously and being ripped off at the same time. As far as the sauce, it is just a red sauce that tastes only like tomatoes. There is a total lack of any seasoning, such as oregano, or garlic (though I like heavier garlic). As for the crust, while it is light, the only flavor in it is butter. The pizza itself also had no seasoning whatsoever. Again, some seasoning like oregano would be nice. Therefore, the pizza only tastes like a combination of toppings, tomato sauce and a crust, thus flavorless. I would easily give the pizza "one star", but the atmosphere, management and service was nice, which gives it an overall two-star rating. Still, my bill, with tip, was exactly $20 for their smallest pizza with three toppings and a Diet Coke. With that, I felt ripped off. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. There are many other options in downtown Edwardsville, I am recommend them over Dewey's.

Took our friends on Saturday night...packed as usual but the line moves quickly. Need a sign by the line that tells people they need to SIGN IN AT THE DESK.. otherwise those coming in after you that sign in are actually called BEFORE YOU. Great pizza once again and our neighbors were impressed. Funky lemon vinaigrette dressing on my blueberry salad.. not a choice I will get again but it could be me. Attentive waiters with refills were awesome. We will be back ... crust to die for!

I know the pizza community out there is very opinionated (especially in the St. Louis area), so take this review with a grain of red pepper flake because I thought this piece of pie was fantastic! un-pizza related, but I must start by saying they have GREAT beers on tap! Bells, Schlafly, Rogue, Six Row, Left Hand... mmm. Who cares if there's a wait?! Pizza: My favorites are the Green Lantern and Billy Goat. I think this is the first pizzeria that has done white sauce right. Everything has the perfect balance so you aren't too overwhelmed with a heavy greasy mess. Others with me have really enjoyed the X-Pepperoni. Salads: OK, seriously... these are wonderful!! They are not your typical pizza-joint salads. They are fresh, created with the perfect combination of toppings, and served with the best dressing ever. I order one every time. Out of the 4 pizza establishments I really like, Dewey's is my #1.

I was invited to a birthday celebration here and it did not disappoint. The place seemed super packed and busy but you would never know because our waiter was great. He even let me sample a beer to make sure I liked it before I ordered. I shared the Bronx Bomber with a friend and it was just the perfect size. I think I had a piece leftover to eat the next day for breakfast. Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, black olives, all generously distributed onto a deliciously crusted pie. But really the crust is the best part and probably the reason I would go back again. If you like seasonal beers and pizza crust, definitely visit.

Big dining area, very clean, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The House Salad was GREAT! Highly recommend. It made me realize that thing I like best about salad was BACON! We got a large 1/2 cheese,1/2 pepperoni...cuz we roll gangster like that. It was super yummy in our tummy-tum-tumkins. Even our ankle bitters loved it. We'll be back!

Find a menue, order a pizza, you'll love it. Salads are awesome. Staff is exceptional!

My wife and I had been wanting to try Dewey's out for sometime but always found our way to other great places to eat in the area. We stopped in today for lunch to try them out. We enjoyed it very much. We ordered two separate 11" pizzas and the polite waitress suggested to half and half medium pizza to save $6. The pizza was very tasty. We had a meatball and the Ryan's inferno pizza (Buffalo chicken). It arrived promptly and fresh. They also kept our drinks full. The entire place including the rest rooms are very clean. Very affordable and great tasting food. So why just 4 stars??? It is a bit loud and hard to hear each other. Now this is a small issue and really does not take anything away from the entire experience. Bottom line 4 and 3/4 stars for the entire dinning experience.
(4)Christina G.
Good pizza!! We had a house special pizza with mushrooms, garlic, artichoke hearts. Very good, thinner style. Grape and walnut salad was very good!! I would get that again for sure! Carry out was a good option for Saturday night. The line was at least 20 people deep!!
(4)John F.
Great customer service. One of the best around. Wait times for seating can be a little long during peak dinner periods.
(5)A F.
Love this place. Great pizza, great beer..... Had a specialty taco pizza that i hope returns! Nice pizza joint, would really recommend!
(5)Jan N.
LOVE! I can gets really tasty salad and my husband can get awesome pizza. Their seasonal Harvest salad with Chicken is yummy!!
(5)Kelly W.
I visited here on 7-5-15, and had a great meal with awesome, friendly service as well! The pizza was hot and the ingredients were very fresh. I will definitely go back!!
(5)Megan S.
best pizza near home! service is always pleasant even when it's packed. Try the salad with the candied walnuts and grapes!
(5)Jason V.
Went in here once, and it was alright. It wasn't good or bad, nor did anything was enough to impress me. Everyone seemed to make this place sound special; I just thought it wasn't any different from their competition.
(3)Bill C.
We just tried the calzones as a carry out - wonderful! These things are huge; one is enough for 2 moderate eaters. Loved the options including the "gourmet" add-ons such as pine nuts and sundried tomatoes. At $8 per calzone, which would feed 2, this is a more economical way to enjoy Dewey's without paying top dollar for a pizza. Don't tell Dewey's I told you this or they will increase the calzone price!
(5)Ramsha D.
Great food!! The servers are friendly and pizzas taste great! Definitely one of my favorite
(5)Jessica G.
I feel like I need to set you up with some background knowledge before you will trust my rating. I'm a Chicago girl with Chicago sensibilities and needs. That doesn't mean that my pizza needs to be a half foot think with the sauce on top. That means that I require a crispy crust that will support most, if not all, of the toppings. New York wants you to believe the best pies will require you to fold your slice in half in order to take a bite. I submit to you my dear reader that in doing so you are turning your pizza into a calzone. A calzone! Calzones have this place, the garbage. Just kidding, if I was five and having a birthday party a calzone would hit the spot. Returning to my needs I will move up to the sauce. It doesn't need to be red but it needs to exist. If it's tomato, it needs to be the consistency of BBQ sauce. I'm not talking about sweet baby rays store bought sugar sauce. I'm talking about the type of sauce you get from a squeeze bottle with a hand written label. If you're going with olive oil then I will have mine with some added goodness like garlic or herbs. And now my favorite discussion topic, cheese. A proper pizza will have a cheese top that is neither greasy or wet. The grease can come from an incompatible cheese or some offending toppings. The best stuffed pizza is from Bacino's in Lincoln park. Their spinach deep dish is a prime example of a perfectly constructed pizza. You could expect some water and grease from a thick pie like that. However there is none. It's a beautiful thing. Lastly the toppings can be varied and in tune with changing tastes. I'll try your figs, fish, or falafel. Be warned though because I will judge you harshly on your sausage. It's a midwest thing. We know what sausage should be. Also the toppings should not sweat. No one wants a watery pizza. I ordered a half Edgar Allen Poe and half Socrate's Revenge. And I ended up with three pies. Don't ask. This post is already really too long. Who has actually made it all the way to this ending? The pizza was so so so what I come to desire. The crust was crispy and supportive. All three had the olive oil and garlic sauce which was perfectly portioned. No drippy messes on the plate. The toppings plentiful and not wet, which makes me believe that they were roasted/prepared before hand -especially the wild mushroom pizza. It was a wonderful dinner. Complete with a seasonal salad and fresh brewed ice tea. Thanks Dewey's for dishing up a very desirable pie. I'll be back.
(5)Kevin H.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, the pizza is unbelievable, and the beer is cold and regularly changed to maintain variety. Hands down, one of my favorite places to eat because of the incredible atmosphere and genre real happy vibe. Add that to the deliciously crispy, chewy pizza crust, and it's replaced all other pizza joints for me. The Edwardsville location is one of the best run restaurants I've seen, pizza or no. You won't be sorry you had Dewey's!
(5)David E.
This is my favorite pizza place. They have the best topping selection and pizza crust in the area!
(5)Erik Z.
Dewey's Pizza and I have had a tumultuous relationship to say the least. I visited Dewey's when they first opened about a year ago. I heard the hype and decided to try it out. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great. It's a wide open area with ample seating and a nice relaxing bar. There is even a wide open window where kids love to perch to watch the pizza be made while they wait to be seated. The first time I was there I ordered a Caprice Pizza. This pizza was a basic white sauce pizza with tomatoes, basil, goat cheese, and minced garlic. I'll just be honest and say that I did not like this pizza. The overabundance of tomatoes that they put on the pizza made the pizza taste like one giant tomato, and they also made the pizza soggy. This being said, I decided to go back, a year late albeit, to try Dewey's again. This time I ordered the Edgar Allen Poe, and my experience was completely different. The E.A.P. had a white sauce consisting of olive oil, minced garlic, and goat cheese. It also had mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and fresh parsley. This pizza was so delicious. Combined with a delicious Schlafly Irish Stout, the food experience at Dewey's my second go around was great! The service at Dewey's is good, as well. At Dewey's you are not given a single server for your table. Rather, the entire waitstaff fills a variety of specified duties. This is great because your drink will literally never sit empty for longer than 15 seconds. It's a bit disappointing because you don't get to build a sense of relationship with your server, but the service ends up being way more efficient than is typical. In the end, my opinion of Dewey's has definitely improved. I will probably be making more than just an annual trip in to Dewey's - their pizza is definitely good!
(3)Lindsey G.
Oh, the hype! If Edwardsville is good at anything, it is certainly good at building a ton of hype for new restaurants. I'm not convinced Dewey's deserved such hype. The pizza is fantastic. No complaints. Funny names, great toppings, all around delicious. Here's my qualm: PIZZA IS ALL THEY HAVE. My friends argued me on this, pointing out that it is, after all, a pizza place. However, when I go to a pizza place, I want my traditional "other" options. Love breadsticks and pasta? Or STL's famous toasted ravioli? Well forget about it, because you get pizza. Feeling like a side dish? You can have salad... or PIZZA. For goodness sake, some variety would be nice.....
(3)Tracy S.
Mmmmmm .... I have never had a negative experience at Dewey's. The atmosphere is chic and service is always good. Love their pizza. In fact, I just skipped out of the office under the pretense of a "corporate lunch," which included pizza, beer, and the fabulous, mouth-watering cheesecake.
(5)Samantha B.
LOVE. I used to have to drive to MO for this little bite of heaven but now its only one block from my salon. Great food, great service, great time. Better then Peel (in my opinion)
(5)Pam N.
I feel exactly the same as Keith B., although we did have a signature pizza. The bottom crust is just too gummy! However, our salads were delicious, the service was great and the interior of the restaurant is very pleasing.

After hearing lots and lots about Dewey's, I was invited by a friend for a fundraiser so I finally took the opportunity to go tonight. My disclaimer is that I generally prefer Chicago-style pizza (also known as real pizza) as opposed to St. Louis "style" pizza (i.e. Imo's). But, I'm not usually in Chicago so I settle for what's around. What Dewey's produces obviously doesn't fall into either realm and it provides a trendy experience for the Edwardsville area which rivals (but does not top) Peel - my personal non-Giordano's pizza around here. That being said, we had a pretty decent southwestern bbq chicken pizza at Dewey's. The crust alone is worth lingering over, and the pizza had a very balanced amount of bbq sauce. Some bbq-style pizzas tend to overdo the sauce ("we're calling it a bbq pizza so we better smother it"), but this was a measured amount which I appreciated. It had roasted red peppers and supposedly "black bean corn salsa." My judgment is that it leaned towards the Black bean and corn rather than the salsa. We split the 17" pizza and that ran around $21. Also had a Strawberry Macadamia Nut salad which was decent but a bit overpriced at $4.95. In other news, when I was there one of the tap offerings was a delicious North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner. I highly recommend that choice while it's being offered - very smooth. In closing, I approve of the pizza I had tonight. I would describe it as "measured" rather than crazy bold, but it still is a solid contribution to the pizza realm.

Its re-used storefront sign, transformed and refurbished, is a nice touch in a community that values its heritage. It also subtly invites comparison with the venerable Kriege Hardware that occupied this space for decades. Kriege was one of those old-school hardware stores that seemed to carry every nut, washer, and screw you could ever need, and took pride in personally and quickly matching a product to your project. That community memory probably influenced the mental notes I made during my first visit to Dewey's. I imagine that the staff receives a heavy dose of coaching about "teamwork," as evidenced by the way everyone worked together: we received drink refills from three different servers, and were instructed that we could pay through any of them. I thought I might have a felt a little high anxiety, as each seemed to be looking out of the corner of his or her eye for ways to be helpful, especially in sharing the clearing of tables. In terms of friendliness and helpfulness, the staff was fine. Others have written about the food, and I'll just say that the house salad was very good, and the calzone good. A bonus of this visit was running into fellow yelper Bill C. Hey, Bill, the toppings on that pizza you ordered looked AWESOME.

Deweys pizza has excellent service, every waiter and waitress is yours. They take turns to ensure everyone helps everyone. The pizza are delicious and there is always something new and exciting to try. This restaurant is a must eat in metro east!
(5)Julie B.
First visit to Dewey's E'ville tonight. Able to get seated right away at 5:15 on Sunday evening, and it stayed that way throughout our meal. Nice modern dining area - very open with high ceilings. Salads were exceptional. On par with salads I've eaten at finer restaurants. The house salad - with mixed greens, cranberries, pine nuts, goat cheese, and balsamic - oh my. It is delish! My husband and daughter also liked their peppercorn ranch salads. Beer on tap from local breweries adds to the modern appeal. Served in pint glasses. Now the pizza. This is a solid pie. My favorite pizza place in the Metro-East is Gia's, and it still is - I prefer the thin crust and I like it with a little char - but this is certainly a fresh, well-done option. Crust is "hand-tossed", flaky, only slightly "doughy". The red sauce has a bit of spice and is the star of this pie in my opinion. Cheese and other ingredients were fresh and good. Would go here just for the salad. Set your expectations high there. The pizza is good, but you won't rocket to the moon after eating it - you'll just know you had some decent 'za!
(4)Nathaniel N.
I love the varieties of pizza Dewey's has. They toss pizza in the air, etc. to entertain kids watching through the kitchen window. You can order each half of the pizza with a different variety which makes it easy to make everyone happy.
(5)Shaun M.
Really like Dewey's Pizza!! The pizza and salads are awesome and the build your own pizza is great. Seems every time we go there the place is busy but big enough there really isnt ever a wait and if there is its never very long. Its also a great place to take your kids too because they like watching them make the pizza through the glass.
(5)Jess C.
I love Socrates' Revenge! I am become a huge fan of pizzas without red sauce and Dewey's has awesome ones! I also love the salads. I have tried three different ones and each was great! We also tried Ryan's Inferno which was an awesome buffalo chicken pizza as well!
(5)Kyle W.
This is the 2nd time I've been here. The first time I got the southwest BBQ chicken pizza which was really good. The second time I got the Caprice & it was just okay. The servers are wonderful here; they're all very friendly! I love the pizza crust; it's crispy & chewy. Give this place a try, you'll like it!
(3)Michal H.
Great food, quick service, super polite waitress. Overall an excellent dinner. We had a Hawaiian and Dr.Dre and loved then both. I personally like this is better than Peel and the staff was much friendlier.
(4)Mel G.
Even though it's pizza place, I always go for a salad here. They are delicious. I think the harvest fig salad is the only salad I ever crave. If you're gluten-free and your friends want pizza, come here so you can get one of the salads.
(5)Aleah M.
Dewey's was like a celebrity that I had been DYING to meet. I had heard a lot of hype for this pizza place and I was incredibly too eager to dig into their menu. I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and I couldn't wait to conquer another pizza joint in the area, but this visit definitely left a lot to be desired. First off, the salad was horrible. I had the Greek salad and was excited to get it. Boy, was I wrong. This will go down as one of the worst salads I have ever had. It was topped with a roasted red pepper dressing that had a HORRIBLE consistency. Next, I got my pizza. I like to venture out and try different types of toppings, but this visit I decided to stick with the classics. Their pepperoni pizza was the most bland tasting pizza I have ever encountered. Don't get me wrong, it didn't have a foul taste or anything- but there just wasn't flavor to it. Overall, my first visit was just a pretty big downer. Dewey's and I broke up and I didn't think he deserved a second chance. BUT- the forgiving lady I am, I took him back for a second shot. This time I decided to try their "white sauce", instead of the "red sauce" I had last time. The reason this place gets three stars from me is their white sauce. SO FANTASTIC. I had a pizza with white sauce and spinach and roasted red peppers. SO GOOD. It was the pizza I went searching for the first time I ventured to Dewey's. Another reason I don't like Dewey's. The waitstaff. Ugh- way too attentive. I like being checked up on and making sure all is right in the world, but they check on you every two minutes. I barely had time to take a drink before they were filling up my glass. Very, very annoying.
(3)Brian J.
Absolutely loved Dewey's! We had the Arugula and Prosciutto pizza, which is seasonal. It was some of the best pizza I've ever had! Their salads are also wonderful. Definitely a do-over!
(5)David L.
Good pizzas, good salads, nice atmosphere and good service. Nice that they have both white and red pizzas, plus some good gourmet toppings.
(4)Tiffany H.
Okay, so did Edwardsville really need another pizza place?? After two visits to Deweys, I'm convinced that it did! Food: I really like their pizza. On my first visit, I had a pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, green olives, and extra cheese. It was good, but the crust was soggy. My bad for ordering too much cheese. Yet, I loved the sauce which had the perfect combination of sweet and spice. So...I visited a second time (same order minus the x cheese), and my pizza was great. This time I also ordered their peppercorn ranch salad, which was reminiscent of Pi's BLT salad (yum!). For reference, my gold standard of 'Za is d'Bronx from Kansas City, and this was really close. Next time I'll try to save room for dessert, as they looked amazing. Service: The managers are doing their job of thoroughly training employees. Waitstaff are extremely attentive and accommodating of children. Tables are bussed promptly, and the staff throwing the pizza dough are quite entertaining and cheerful. Keep it up! Overall, a solid 4-stars!! Another "win" for E'ville dining... now can we have a Middle Eastern restaurant please?????
(4)Lance L.
Classic pizza Great salads (and I hate salad - get the strawberry macadamia dealio) I'd go 4 stars if they would cook their pie just a bit longer - a little soggy. Completely different than Peel and hopefully here to stay. Just need to cook a couple of minutes longer
(3)Lori A.
When we went to Dewey's opening, I was pretty bummed about it. They had run out of ingredients, the restaurant was freezing, etc. However, a friend told me never to judge a restaurant by its opening, and she was right! I love this place! Every time I've been back has been great. Their crust is the perfect combination of crispy and doughy (the only crust I like now!), and their salads are consistently fresh and flavorful. They are plenty generous with toppings (another pitfall of most pizza places...Peel...cough), and last time I was there with a larger group, the waitress forgot to put in our pizza order. Sounds annoying, but she apologized profusely and explained that our pizza would be free--btw it still came out with plenty of toppings on it. Most places refuse to even admit that they forgot about your order when it takes 30 minutes to make fries or your waffles come out frigid. Anyway, this is a long review for a very short message: Hooray for Deweys! I'll be visiting you soon :)
(5)Keith B.
To be fair, we had take-out, which sometimes isn't as good as eating pizza in-house. But we were underwhelmed... Not bad, but just don't see what the hype is about. Also in fairness, we did not order one of their signature pizzas but rather ordered our own toppings on their "build your own." So their branded pizzas may be "more special" than what we had. Our main complaint is that the bottom of the crust was soft to the point of seeming under cooked and gummy, yet that wouldn't seem to be the case in that the edge was cooked properly, and actually pretty tasty. Would like for the bottom crust to have been more crunchy. The mushrooms were nice... fresh, not canned. Didn't care so much for the sausage... can't say why specifically, although part of it might be our preference for the crumbled kind of Italian sausage rather than the sliced links. The sauce is decent. The Greek salad was good... includes whole roasted garlic cloves, which were a nice (and unusual) touch. Bottom line: Decent neighborhood pizza joint, if they fix the crust problem. I wouldn't consider it gourmet pizza, but probably can't say that for sure until we try one of their signature varieties.
(3)Kelli S.
Just as excellent as their Missouri locations. Glad they finally made the leap into Illinois. Service was considerably better than the other not-to-be-named-non-chain pizza place in Edwardsville. Food was great. Quick, hot, and perfectly prepared.
(5)Victoria H.
Best pizza place in E'ville. All the ingredients are always fresh. Our favorite is the green lantern, substitute goat cheese with sun dried tomatoes.
(4)Christina H.
I wish Dewey's and Peel would make a pizza baby. I love Dewey's crust. It's substantial and soft, but not chewy like Peel. But I feel like Dewey's lacks in the different toppings department, which is a big blow for me personally. I love the open kitchen and being able to watch the guys do their pizza magic while you wait on a table. The servers are friendly. I feel like the prices are a dollar or two higher than what they should be for a pizza place like Dewey's. It's not really gourmet pizza but it's not lower quality either. I've been there twice, once with my boyfriend and once with my parents, and haven't had a craving or want to go back. They are not a bad pizza place at all, but they don't really have a resounding quality that makes me want to go back. But do try them if you haven't! Maybe you will enjoy them more than I have.
(3)Aaron A.
Went here for a birthday dinner. The staff was pleasant and quickly accommodated our party of 7 and got us settled in. Waitress was friendly and happy to explain some of the various toppings and sauces they use. Pizza was very good. Could have used a little more of the toppings but everything tasted great, nice flakey crust. I highly recommend trying at least a half pizza with their house white garlic sauce. It's very good and a fun change from typical tomato pizza sauce.
(4)Larry G.
great pizza. I have had there food in clayton and thiis one lives up to what i remember the one in clayton being like.
(5)Rob L.
The best parts about Dewey's are the crust, the wait staff, and the atmosphere. The salads are excellent as well but keep in mind that even the best tasting salads aren't that healthy for you so you may want to research the fat/calories of the salads first. the house salad is good and has the lowest fat grams. It feels very relaxed in there and as long as you get there before 7pm you should be able to get a table in 10 minutes, after that and there can be a long line. Most of the wait staff are college kids and they work hard for their tips!
(5)Jennifer M.
I really love going to Deweys. The atmosphere is a little more fun than the other great pizza place in the area. Its better in the fact that you can get different size pizzas & you can do 1/2 & 1/2 with different sauces even which make it nice for sharing. Only down side is there are not many sides other than salads which I was not that impressed with. Need cheese garlic bread, sticks or just anything basic that goes with pizza. Wings...Overall a fantastic place though. Lov
(4)Peter P.
How many great pizza places can E'ville support? I guess two is within the realm of possibility. Totally delish pizza. Good salads. Excellent service. The line was outrageous, so get there early or come late. Overall, not quite up to the level of Peel, but a rock solid joint for a pie and a beer. Will go again, no doubt.
(4)Judy C.
I love Dewey's! Excellent food quality, efficient and friendly waitstaff. Most delicious pizza crust in the 'ville. Interesting ingredients and combinations.
(5)Teri D.
Kicks the shit out of the horrendously overpriced Peel and Pi. Just as good as the over the river stores we used to drive 100 mile R/T to eat at before this one opened. It looks the same and has the same good service and great food you are accustomed to in the Dewey's chain.
(5)Matt F.
Best pizza in St Louis. Fantastically creative fresh salads, and excellent draft beer too. I highly recommend !
(5)Brian H.
Great pizza as usual from Dewey's. This was our first time in this store in Edwardsville and it was a great experience. The staff if friendly and attentive. The wait for a Friday night was good, told 15-25 minutes and we were seated in 24 . This is a great place to go before a night at the new Wildey theater.
