This fried chicken is insane! Seriously. Probably one of the most underrated restaurants in the QC. We bought a 20 piece package of fried chicken and every peice was juicy and perfect. And whatever breading they used for it blew my mind. I haven't gotten to try the fried fish, but if it's half as good as the chicken, it's worth every penny. Go here, QC!

Best fried chicken and fried fish I have ever had.

Great tilapia and catfish! Lunch specials are VERY small portions! Hence the $4.00 special price

We went to the new location in Rock Island. I was here visiting from Denver and was excited to try their chicken. I heard that it was awesome and I wasn't disappointed!! The chicken tastes like the chicken my mom used to make, crispy and juicy!!! The people were super friendly and the atmosphere was great! I highly recommend Nana's!!!!

Chicken is mediocre at best. Tastes like it was fried with old grease that should've been tossed several days ago. They were out of the catfish my wife wanted. Service was equally unimpressive as the owner stood there and chatted with one his buddies while our food was ready to go. And what's this with grade school aged kids working there? Sorry but there's much better chicken out there and not far away either.

This is for the Rock Island location: Chicken was okay...freshly fried but you could smell the old grease odor coming from the fryer. Breading was okay, but not very flavorful and the chicken seemed a tad dry. I also tried the gumbo and corn bread. Corn bread was okay, but of course corn bread tases are very subjective. The gumbo though was really sad. Wasn't gumbo at all, it was basically a broth soup with lots of rice, some tiny shrimps, and some type of meat in little bits. I didn't say anything but I was amazed that anyone would call that gumbo. Serving that in Louisiana would get you booted out of the state. Too bad since it is close to work and I was really hoping it would be good.
