Those who are familiar with frozen yogurt know that Red Mango is typically the standard by which all other froyo is judged. Their frozen yogurt is always creamy and strong in flavor without being overbearing. Their toppings are always fresh and leaning towards the healthier options like fresh fruit and nuts. Unlike some of the earlier Red Mango locations, this is a self-serve so you can make your own froyo masterpieces! Definitely a great addition to the Deer Park Town Center.

The very RARE first visit FIVE star review, just freakin orgasmic...RED MANGO! Another Please, MORE, Don't, stop, Don't Stop. Ok, I sometimes wonder WHY I wait to try a Sherwin recommendation, I'm not a stalker anymore. Clean, samples, dietary info, probiotics, fruit without milk or soy, CHOCOLATE, PEANUT BUTTER, DARK Chocolate, nuts, gummies, sprinkles... WHAT are you waiting for?

Classic froyo! but could be a little less expensive and a little more yogurt flavor variety (like yogurtland in Arlington Heights) for my complete satisfaction and admiration.

This was the first time I tried Red Mango--both my father and I decided to try the coffee drinks as we weren't feeling yogurt. I got the frozen mocha with whip cream, and this was the worst I've had. It tastes like watered-down chocolate. The ice didn't even blend into the drink; I was handed the drink without whipped cream because they were out. $5 is way overpriced for a drink I could have made at home. On another note; the staff was very friendly and helpful, but there were only two associates and about 20 people in the store. They were obviously rushed/stressed; very hectic environment and I associate this with the sub-par quality of my drink. There really should be more staff during the summer months. Will not return.

Red Mango is Red Mango. I believe it's the 'bar' for all froyo places. I like this franchise a lot. Now, this location seems a bit smaller than other ones I've been in. Granted most of them are pretty small, this one just seemed a bit more snug. Luckily the size of the place doesn't affect the product. They have a yelp check in offer which I didn't use since I rather not order pounds of froyo but maybe next time. Located in the snazzy Deer Park plaza makes this spot more enjoyable to visit.

Went for an afternoon snack with a group of 8. It was nothing spectacular. The toppings bar was a mess. The place is really tiny and messy.

Ok, ok, I concede! Red Mango has some of the tastiest fro-yo options I've had the privilege to taste. I've wanted to try RM for a while now but only got my first chance this past weekend during our first truly perfect spring weekend. This brilliant idea was shared by the whole of the Deer Park and neighboring communities, all of which were crammed into the ridiculously narrow 2' x 6' area in front of the fro-yo dispensers. This is where RM lost a star from me. It's not their fault it was busy, but the cramped layout was clearly within their power to avoid when built, and this shows a lack of foresight. They successfully created a bottleneck sitch exasperated by the placement of tables of cups, cones, etc. at the narrowest juncture. In short, it was a cluster-muck. In the end, it's totally worth traversing to suck down those amazing flavors. I enjoy fro-yo and ice cream as much as any red-blooded American is required to, but I'm usually set with 1-1.5 ounces, max. A lil dollop will do me. But here? This place? I sampled nearly all the flavors, raspberry/chocolate sorbetto, Aztec Mexican chocolate, Caribbean Coconut, creamy peanut butter and a couple more, PLUS, went back in for 3-4 more ounces. As SNL Nick Cage would say, "that's high praise" from a gal like me who is usually full from just the samples! Big winners on that Saturday for me were the Caribbean Coconut and the raspberry chocolate sorbetto- don't miss those. Don't forget to sign up and register for the RM reward card to get your free gift card of $5, plus future discounts, as well as the Yelp check in deals available. All the usual toppings, about .45 cents an ounce, yada, yada, yada, everything else is the same as every other fro-yo place. Just enjoy the quality of flavors, and be prepared to do battle to get to them on a busy day.

Ooh, I am in love! Since I just transferred up to Kildeer for work, it has been so much fun finding new restaurants, hang outs, and things to do. Red Mango has been such a great find. First off, the place is clean. I cannot stand any eatery that is even a little dirty; if the dining room is lookin' dingy, I shudder to consider the kitchen! Everything is clean, well-maintained, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I can easily sit in here on a quiet day and enjoy some fro-yo with my man. Second, the staff is fantastic (aside from one minor irritation, more about that in a bit). They are friendly, professional, and also very clean. They are always so polite and cheery, and it doesn't feel forced or faked. The only problem I had was when I brought two gift cards that had $5 each on them; the cashier accidentally threw away the card that still had money on it (almost the full $5) and gave me back the empty one. I didn't find out until my next trip I went to use the one that she had written "$4.87" on and it was empty. Pretty disappointed that I lost out on my gift card, but I understand that accidents happen. When I mentioned the pretty obvious error, the cashier was very unsympathetic and gave me a look like I was lying to him to try to get free fro-yo; that was not appreciated, and that cost Red Mango a star. Never, ever treat a customer like a thief or a liar. You won't embarrass a liar, but you will alienate an honest customer. Regarding the fro-yo itself, it is delicious, and I love that they change out their flavors so regularly! It would be great if they could keep their toppings consistent, though. Not much more disappointing than expecting cookie dough and not being able to have it! We tried the smoothies just yesterday, and were absolutely blown away. They were the best smoothies we have ever had! As long time Jamba customers, we're a little sad to say we like Red Mango's smoothies better, but they were just so flavorful and refreshing! I had a peanut butter one, and it genuinely tasted like peanut butter. My boyfriend had a blueberry one that actually tasted like it had blueberries, and lots of them! My sister had a strawberry one that she absolutely loved, as well. Typically after I have a smoothie, I'm very thirsty and cannot wait for a tall glass of water; I actually felt so refreshed and content after my Red Mango smoothie, a great feeling when it's already 96 degrees out! Overall, I do enjoy coming here, aside from that one uncomfortable experience, and will continue to do so, as long as I am never given that kind of treatment again.

Fun way to get a "healthier" option than ice cream! Its always super crowded, so check out the tables outside the store by the circle (facing go roma), there's always an open table back there!

We took our 3 daughters to Red Mango for their Grand Opening. It was awesome! The frozen yogurt had such a clean, fresh taste! I loved the Pomegranate and Classic Vanilla mixed together. I also added their flavor bubbles as a topping. Seriously good! I liked it so much I went back and bought a few gift certificates for holiday gifts. They wrapped them in yogurt cups! Very fun! We will be regulars, for sure!
