The customer service is always great. Krekels has a great hometown feel. This location does not have outdoor seating but it does have plenty of parking space to eat in your car. The shakes are a bit pricey ($5) but it is fair enough for the quality. Try the banana split shake or fruity pebbles shake. All of the food tastes a little bit like butter. The cheese fries hit the spot if you're craving some serious junk food.

You really can't find a better tasting burger anywhere. I've tried. BELIEVE ME, I've tried. And though I love all my Krekel's locations, the Wood Street grill must have been blessed by a priest or something, because those burgers are the best of the best of the best. Oh, man. Every time I come home to visit, that is the first place I stop. And every time I come back to Cali, I just sit at home and crave the delicious melty double cheeseburger with it's crisp edges and smashed down bun lightly toasted. Oh, great... now my mouth is watering. I don't know if they still have outdoor seating, but they used to have a few tables in the parking lot. I would throw quite a few of my fries to the birds, because they get hungry too. And let's face it, Krekel's ain't about the fries... it's all about the burgers.

This is one fine soft-serve twist cone! The cheeseburger and malts are great, too. Its a fun place to go in the summer for some old-timey order-at-the-window food and ice cream.

Double, single cheese, onions, pickles, light mustard. Eaten standing up in the parking lot, while the burgers are still crispy on the surface of the patty and steaming hot. Best fast food burgers ever, anywhere.

I've never had a bad experience at this place. I remember I used to go here as a kid with my parents and the burgers were so good! They still are. Plus you get a ton of fries and they have lemon ice cream!

Best soft serve in Decatur! I come here every time I come home from out of state for the lemon soft serve. Staff is always super rude but I've come to feel like it is part of the experience and now I would feel gypped if they weren't rude. If crack tasted like food it would be Krekles lemon ice cream. Once you're hooked try a double stack cheese burger. Best greasy bugger I have ever had! I think I take a week off my life every time I eat one but they are irresistible!
