Living in Kansas City, we have very high expectations for burgers and BBQ. We have the best. My son and I came in here for lunch before the NIU Soccer Camp. We made a very good choice! This was going to be a 4-star review, but bumped. You will understand. While the food was slow to get to us, we were the only patrons, it was worth the wait. I had the 50/50: bacon/beef, and my son had the classic burger. These were among the best burgers we have had in a LONG while. I do not say that lightly. It was worth the wait. Cooked just right, not burned, not raw; it was near well done, and quite juicy. Slow cooked almost to perfection. Kansas City would welcome this burger. We will return if are back in DeKalb. Well done!

The "Sports bar" bartender was pushing customers to put $ in jukebox so she didn't have to listen to the Cubs. So we got treated to Sublime, Hall and Oates and Marilyn Manson in that order. Somehow it should be changed to the Hometown, no teeth, fried delights and hillbilly bar. Just drop the sports parts because this place is nothing about sports. It is about drinking after work, and looking at the opposite sex. Trivia was on two of the three television screens despite no one playing trivia. You can imagine why. I love the tater tots. Burgers are better than average. If it is fried, it is good. Service is good.

Went here in the middle of the day to watch the NCAA tournament, I walked in not a single game was on their tv's . There was 4 on at the time. Don't call your self a sports bar when you have TV game shows on your tvs when one of the largest sports tournaments is going on. Service was good tho.

Not sure why this place is getting such great reviews... I went here to watch a NFL playoff game and the place was absolutely dead - that's usually a red flag for any sports bar. My burger was decent, by no means memorable in any way. It's saving grace is the fact that it only cost $8.50. This is your average/below-average townie sports bar. Nothing to see here, move along.

Awesome customer service here. My waiter Greg tracked me down at another bar because I forgot my card at the table. Burgers are good, especially the Ronnie. Great hangover cure! Goes great with the Bloody Mary bar on Sundays.

The food was great. Get the steak sandwich with cheese. It's so good. The bartender was such a nice lady and I absolutely adore her. I ate at the bar for a nice afternoon lunch and I really enjoyed it.

Came in for lunch today and was told right away she needed to see my id, because it's a bar, which I understand... I'm 27 and didn't have my id with me because I didn't intend on drinking. I understand enforcing rules, but the bartender was so rude and disrespectful. My friend and I both will never be back, not because she was enforcing rules but because she was extremely rude and clearly doesn't have a good way of dealing with customers. If I was the owner of this place I would fire her on the spot for her bad attitude...just driving customers and business away. I work in the industry in the same city, I'll be sure to inform people of the bad atmosphere.

This is my favorite place to eat in DeKalb! The sandwiches are great, they have the best fries and their tater tots are amazing!

A nice college bar in downtown DeKalb. This place has a lot of competition but I think they will do ok. A nice layout and good looking food makes this place a typical college sports bar. There are more than enough space and television screens and the service was good. They have enough workers to make sure people get the service they seek on college football Saturdays.
