I love Sweet Things! It's truly a hidden gem in Crestwood and I prefer it over Plush Horse and Rainbow Cone (and believe me, I love those too - I just think this is even better.) Delicious, homemade ice cream served up by the lovely owner...I always get nervous that this place is too tucked away to be noticed so please, do your part and eat there so they stay open forever! My kids love it, my DH loves it, I tell my friends about it and I always get my birthday cake here. Definitely a treat worth having.

Please don't ever close, Sweet Things. You are a tremendous asset to Crestwood and the surrounding area. If you carried soy ice cream, I'd probably just sell my house and move in...so maybe it's better that you don't. My husband and kids enjoy your plethora of flavors, fantastic service, flexible hours, buttery popcorn, and overall deliciousness. My husband claims that you produce some of the creamiest ice cream he's ever enjoyed, and my kids have never met a flavor of yours they didn't love upon first bite. When my fam is in need of a quick ice cream fix, you never fail 'em. Easily one of the best ice cream shops--and family owned to boot!--around.

I love this little place!!! Its family friendly, affordable, and EVERYTHING IS FRESH! The owner and her family are super delightful and make great suggestions for first timers!

What a hidden gem! I had the best coffee ice cream that I have ever had here. My kids tried the cake batter, chocolate and the Superman flavors. Everything was terrific! The owner was there working the counter with a smile. She obviously cares a lot about her product and her store. All of her ice cream is home made. No wonder it was so good! The prices were very reasonable and they had gourmet popcorn and ice cream cakes for sale.

Fast & friendly service. Tons of ice cream and yogurt flavors to choose from, popcorn, cakes, etc. They do it all. Their cake batter ice cream is comparable to Cold Stone, without the ridiculous prices. And it's a family owned business ... that is something to support!

I had driven past this place several times and always wanted to give it a try. Finally stopped in with my husband and our kids. My first thought was that I had entered a Cold Stone Creamery so I was a little hesitant that this place might be a copy cat, but once I tried that first spoonful I had no complaints. The style is slightly reminiscent of Cold Stone Creamery, but they have obviously made it their own. They're ice cream was delicious and it was way cheaper than I was expecting it to be for a higher scale ice cream place!!! I thought the ice cream was the creamiest I had ever had, it was spectacular. Before we left we also bought a bag of the Chicago style popcorn (for those unaware that's cheese popcorn and caramel popcorn mixed together). Between myself and the kids we ate half the bag just on the car ride home. It was delicious! I can't wait to go back there and get some more goodies.

This dessert shop is a definite step above the rest!! Not only do they lots of ice cream flavors and options they also have gourmet POPCORN!!! This spot is definitely one of my favorites...a must visit for any ice cream or dessert lover!!! Also excellent friendly service...something hard to come by these days!!!

I am giving them one star as I feel when I bought a groupon to try them out and they were not open for me to try them during the hours they were suppose to be it says to me they do not care (I was there at 11:10 and returned a half an hour later and they were still not open, no answer when called and I find this irresponsible. I have passed many times going to Hollywood Park or Target or Kohl's etc and today thought I would try them out and I am disappointed that they were not open, or even there, 40 minutes after they were suppose to be there. That is irritating so now I need to request a refund from groupon and do not feel I will be trying them due to lack good business sense.
