I've been going here for years! I'm a huge pizza fan and this place is by far my fave! Love their gluten free pizza- you can't even tell that it's gluten free.. Tastes just as amazing as their reg pizza! And to top it off they have snow biz! Yum! I wish they had more locations because they are just that damn good! I drive all the way from Lockport when I want good pizza! Service is top notch by the way.. No complaints ever!

Stumbled upon this place, glad I did too. It looks like a tiny little place of little note, but it's nice, quick n easy. For the price you pay, the pizza is great! Nothing special by any means but for $3 you can get a slice and a soft drink. Can't beat that! Bread sticks are ok, not super flavorful or anything but the marinara sauce helps. The slices are pretty large, toppings are given generously too. You can get in and out within 15 minutes tops if you're sitting down and in a hurry, OR you can just he the drive thru service and be gone within 5. The place is super clean, staff is very friendly too. There are several tables and booths inside as well as a couple tables outside too. I'd recommend it for a quick grab n go pizza n pop.

My co-worker introduced me to this place and I LOVE IT!! Simple yet so delicious, the pizza has a crunchy crust and they didn't skimp on ingredients. There's a nice outside sitting area and music playing from speakers, service is also very nice. Great place and I enjoyed myself on a lunch break. I'm coming back for the pizza and to try the shave ice, no doubt.

Love Simply Slices. Grew up on this stuff; now I live in downtown Chicago but this pizza could definitely hold it's own up there. I still get it whenever I am back in town. Two slices (all slices are good) and a side of breadsticks is the way to go. A solid deal for your $$!

This was my first visit and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was quite good, large slices, and very reasonably priced. I tried the cheese and deluxe at this visit. No issues with the cheese slice, however the veggies on the deluxe were still very crunchy, almost raw. I'm not complaining, as I do prefer my veggies like this, but if you don't, be prepared for crisp peppers and onions. I will have to try the meatball sandwich and perhaps order a whole pie. Worth the visit!

I purchased an extra large pizza. I have my doubts about the quality of the products. The pizza was extremely salty....too salty for me and on the expensive side. It's an OK place when you want to get a slice or two.

My favorite local place to grab a slice or two! I've been going to Simply for many years and they never disappoint. The staff is always friendly and happy to take your order. The pizza isn't your traditional Chicago style pizza but it's amazing nevertheless, it's a good solid thin crust slice and you get a LOT for your buck. Great alternative to a lot of the bigger name fast-food restaurants, give Simply a try you won't regret it!

Great place to hit the drive-thru and pick up a couple of slices of pizza and a cold drink. Service is fast and the food is always fresh. I've been a regular for several years and it's my regular stop on Thursdays for the #TBT prices! Keep up the good work Dino and !

This is a great place to go for a slice as long as you're not looking for a traditional Chicago pizza. I personally prefer thin crust pizza and their crust is the best I've had in a long time. The prices are amazing for the quality ingredients and the pizza is always hot and fresh. You have to try their shaved ice at least once but be warned you get a massive cup. The only thing I don't like is their bread sticks, just not a big fan. This is a great little place for a quick but fresh dinner. I don't understand why more people don't come when you get fresh, hot food with little to no wait but they'll wait at fast food chain for 10 minutes for junk. The only problem I have with this place is when they have the ice truck opened in the front of the lot. It can make it hard to get in. Multiple times we've been stuck in the street because some guy decided to park his car at the entrance of the parking lot to talk to the person in the truck. Not too smart but you can't control everything your customers do.

Great thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients. Service is fast and consistent. I would really recommend this place to others looking for a quick meal on a budget. Don't expect goat cheese, basil, calabrese sausage/prosciutto, or other exotic toppings. hehe. I usually get a large sausage and it never disappoints our family.

This place looks like a typical pizza place with crappy pizza. I went there one day because I was in a hurry and it looked like I can get a quick bite here. Well to my surprise, it was great fresh pizza and I have been back on average once a week for their "sausageroni" and their calzones. I have gotten to know Dino, the owner, well now and its no surprise he has a successful business. He is as strict with his business practices as he is raising his children. I especially love Monster Mondays. Extra large pizza slices for the same price. The cripsy crust shoud be their motto.

Jesus the pizza here is good. It is like nothing I have ever had. The crust is crunchy and tasty and the cheese is stringy and melty and it is like a time warp: like they cooked two slices if the twelve seconds it took me from ordering from my car, to driving around the other side of the building. I am the idiot swerving around on Cicero Ave in my car because I am burning the top of my mouth on the pizza it is so good I can't wait for it to cool. For those of you who know me, I rarely give five stars. Only when there is food that I cannot make myself. This crust is more crackery than a ritz. The five stars is because I cannot duplicate it and no other pizza place's thin crust is as good. It is very elusive. I think I will stop practicing and get a part time job here to get their thin crust secrets. The kids who work here are cool and quick. No frills, but then again, it is pizza through a window for $5.25. ...and just think, it is a pizza drive thru. How fucking cool is that?!?

This is GOOD. FAST. CHEAP. PIZZA. This ain't gourmet pizza, folks, but they use QUALITY ingredients and it's a great value. Also..... You simply MUST try their shaved ice, it is fabulous!!! Better than McDonalds, cleaner than Burger King, way shorter line than Portillo's, and better for you than White Castle!!! Go there, you will like it!

This little place offers cheap, fast slices. They have a drive-thru. Their pizza is a hybrid of Chicago-style and East Coast. It's not gourmet pizza, but it's way better than Little Sleazers. Two slices and a drink was $6. The sausage-mushroom-onion-green pepper was a good deal and definitely the way to go at this place imho. The pepperoni slice was very salty and greasy. You get what you pay for. I question the 4 and 5-star reviews of this joint considering the quality of pizza available in this area.

Tasty, quality pizza at a great price! I came here a few days ago after reading Yelp reviews...and you guys were so right! I have passed by this place so many times (you have to be attentive driving on Cicero) and never noticed it nestled between two car repair shops. I will not make that mistake again. I had a slice of veggie pizza, and it was amazeballs!!! Very hot, crispy crust (but not hard), and the veggies were fresh! You can tell that it wasn't "sitting under a light" like other pizza places. They also have a small fridge with pre-made pizzas that you can purchase to take home and bake. Customer service was great (guys behind the counter were super nice). There are a couple of flat-screen TVs and wi-fi if you decide to dine in. I only wish I ordered another slice to go! If you are on a budget (like I am) and are craving pizza, give this place a try.

This pizza is awesome!! They also have the best shaved ice in the world! You may think that you have already tried the best, but once you walk into this place you"ll surely think the other ice is garbage :) Also love the fact that the pizza is always nice and warm, some other places like to give out cold pizza! Would recommend to everyone!

First and Foremost, if you happen to go here and don't love the food then ask for Dino or come back the next day and let him know. He will take care of it. That said. I have NEVER had a bad experiance with Simply Slices, in fact I hate the oil change place next door but I go there for an extra excuse to eat at Simply Slices. I get Sausage Pizza and Garlic Bread, but I also love the BEEF sandwiches. Try some today.

Jason A.
The prices are insanely great. For being a slice and not a whole pizza, I was very impressed with the quality. If you're just getting a few slices, this place is way better than Beggars, Barracos, or Nonna's. The slices have a thin, crispy crust, a great sauce, and plenty of cheese. They put them in an oven when you order them, unlike Nonna's where they have them sitting out under a heat light. As someone who's picky about the sausage on pizza, this place does not disappoint on the sausage. It tastes like the Italian sausage links from S&T Provisions, but with a slight fennel seed flavor. As others have noted, don't forget the bread sticks, but I've found the garlic bread to be MUCH better, one of the best garlic breads I've found anywhere. I'm gonna have to take Al's advice and get the whole pie, because if it's better than the slices I'll be going here a lot. A slice by itself is $1.79. But get the #4, 2 slices, bread sticks or garlic bread, and a large pop. Free refills if you dine in. It's $5.89. I'm not able to finish eating the whole combo, so you'll get filled up here. The slices aren't as big as Nonna's, but they actually taste good, and they're about half the price, so get 2 good slices from here and forget the large piece of dough with a sprinkle of cheese from Nonna's. I always get a side of giardiniera or pepperoncini, they're only .25 each! I've been here 3 times now, so it is consistently high quality food. The people that work here are very friendly and polite. This is the only place I've found a teenager behind the register that actually values our business. We'll be regulars here! Plus, they have a drive-through!

Great slices, decent prices and always hot and ready. It reminds of of the old Tallys Pub pizza.

Without a doubt the best place for a slice that I know of. The pizza is always nice and hot right out of the oven when you order. The pies are pre cooked and they finish it off in the oven when you order. No heating lamps here. The crust is perfectly crisp and the ingredients are fresh. Their sauce is OK but the rest of the pie makes up for it. They also have deal specials. I like the# 4 2 slices an order of bread sticks and a large drink and the total is less than 7 bucks. Overall the pizza is great and so are the bread sticks, so if you're looking for a great slice of pie I highly recommend going to simply slices. P.S. If you're a garlic lover as I am then you must get the sausage and garlic pizza. you wont be anyones first choice for kissing after wards but it is fantastic.

I joined Yelp just so I could write this review! hands down, best gluten free pizza crust in the south suburbs. for those of you who don't know or care about eating gluten free, let me tell you, it's hard to find a great gluten free crust. Thiers is awesome - super thin and crispy! This is the pizza I've missed. Great sauce and toppings.

I have never been in the actual restaurant. I can say that if you're looking for a quick slice in the area, this is for sure the place to go. A few months back, my boyfriends dad came by with three slices. I just wanted to have a quick bite and take the rest to work, but it ended up being so good that I had to devour right then and there. I haven't been back since, but I find myself craving it. It reminded me of really good pizza that I used to have as a child from places such as Phillies & Freddies Pizza. I cannot say this place has the best pizza I've ever had, but it is definitely in my top 5. Grab a slice if you're in town!

The real deal, yo. I don't "do" regular (read as: not vegan) pizza anymore and admittedly, I have yet to ask for a cheese-free &/or vegan slice. But I will say this: my kids are born and bred pizza lovers. In fact, it could be said (quite arguably, might I add) that I sustained my son in utero on pizza and macaroni and cheese alone (but I digress). Simply Slices has yet to disappoint. Between TKD, gymnastics, swimming, PTA, therapy, social and family obligations (and just life in general), there are moments where take out is a necessary component of my sanity. While the regular prices are fantastic, if I catch a Groupon Now! for SS, I can usually feed my five loves for just over a buck a piece. As a family of six, that is a MASSIVE STEAL in my book. The fam loves the pizza from here so the surprise of some SS 'za for dinner never fails to bring smiles to the faces of my crew. Definitely check it out, and keep an eye on GrouponNow! for even greater deals.

This isn't Giordano's or Lou Malnati's type of pizza but it gets the job done. They use quality ingredients, its fast/cheap and good. If your tired of the regular n old pizza chains like Pizza Hut, Little Caesars and Dominoes... then give this pizza spot a shot if your in the area.
(4)
Al R.
I see a lot of positive reviews for the slices, which is great, but I implore people interested in Simply Slices to order a whole pie. They're always better than slices. Try a pie first, then go back for the slices.

This is probably my favorite thin crust pizza! If you've ever been to the old Mango's in Orland Park, come here because its the same recipe!! Fast, hot, and ohhh so good! Buy by the slice, as a whole pizza, or even take home a frozen one :)
(5)
Megan R.
I love this place! It all started when a friend of mine started raving about it years ago. It became our hangout! She comes in all the way from the city just for some Simply Slices. We'll usally eat our slices there then get a hot whole pizza to go. Delish.
(5)
Anthony P.
There's just no way to express in words how delicious I think this pizza is. I have eaten this pizza for half of my life (and previously as Mango's for you old schoolers). I've since moved out of the area, but I make as many excuses to stop here as possible to pick up some slices, and the bread sticks are fantastic as well. Easily my favorite pizza of all time. Do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

I tried pizza from this place about a year ago when I was working in Crestwood. I came early in the morning I don't know why I wanted Pizza so early. Anyways the guy who was working he was really nice I got a slice of pizza with a small drink I think it was around $2.00 so that was great. The slice was small but it was good enough. The crust, sauce, and cheese was good. I don't have any complaints but I'm not gonna give it 5 stars because I've had better pizza.
(3)
Joe T.
Best thin crust pizza on the south side. It is pretty hard to get crunchy AND chewy out of thin crust, but simply hit the nail on the head. Slices are always cooked just enough, cheese is fresh and sauce is perfectly sweet. If you get slices you've got to pair them with the breadsticks.... They are awesome too.
(5)
Karl B.
Never had a whole pie from there but I love their slices. They are always cooked to perfection w/ a perfect balance of crispy crust, fresh toppings, and decent sauce. I love this frigging place, and wish they would build a location near me in the western burbs. This place blows places like nonnas, baccis, and pizza ria out of the water. true the slices may not be massive like nonna's or bacci's but the quality is much better, and they have a drive thru!
(5)
Jeremy D.
Everytime I make it home to the southside I have to stop for some slices. Everyone I've brought over the years has enjoyed it too. I've been eating here since 1998 and quality is still top notch!

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I love this place! It all started when a friend of mine started raving about it years ago. It became our hangout! She comes in all the way from the city just for some Simply Slices. We'll usally eat our slices there then get a hot whole pizza to go. Delish.

Everytime I make it home to the southside I have to stop for some slices. Everyone I've brought over the years has enjoyed it too. I've been eating here since 1998 and quality is still top notch!
