Nothing too special, yet there's certainly no shortage of projection screens to make watching your favorite sporting event enjoyable. We warned them to monitor the times they hoot and holler not to interfere with a play in the important game. We did find ourselves rooting for MN as there's usually never a good time to root for GB. Bummer the Bears got walloped this week. The food is nothing special and there's was even some jokes about their pizza, yet one was ordered. I only sampled a few items, as I was saving myself for a different option after the game, for an early dinner in Berwyn at my favorite sausage stand. They have no brewed tea which always nice when you're not a drinker. Certainly a lively crowd and the inside is nothing special. If billiards is your thing, they have you covered. Our server was cute and very punctual to our needs.

This place is filled with shady characters and awful service. I'll give them 2 stars for their beer selection and the amount of TVs they have. Unlike some other places that call themselves a sports bar, but only have one or two TVs, Harry's not only has them everywhere, but they're perfectly positioned. However, I'm pretty sure a local "group" was having a chapter meeting behind us, and based on the tattoos, I think it's safe to say they weren't a sports team or social club. We were seated in the dining area, but once part of our group paid for their food and left, the waitress stopped coming by. She kept walking around to other tables, but ignored us. Sure it's great for watching sports, but there's better options in the area.

Food is just average maybe even below average. Nothing special. Waitress not very attentive to our needs. Ex. You don't ask us if we need anything right when you set the food down. You come back a few minutes later to make sure we have what we need. Not when we are done eating to give us the bill. TVs way too loud. Will not return. Not even worth it when using a groupon.

Saturday lunch @ 1:00pm and it was a terrible conundrum for the poor bartendress who was overwhelmed without a server as she was the only person in the whole restaurant (except the cook) when ~20 people walked in. When the server finally arrived, we had already ordered salad, soup, burgers, drinks and steak taco dinner. We stood up and walked out when the other 17 people all got their food first--all of it--and we still hadn't been served salad or soup. Not the bartendress but the server screwed us by serving everyone else first. With $10 on the table to avoid charges of theft for the drinks we drank, we left angry and pissed at a rookie server mistake.

Harrys sports bar is my favorite sports bar to catch a game, truly a lot of Chicago love, the owners are the Best they get out & meet and greet the customers, they often have plenty of prize and contest give a way's (tickets & jerseys etc..) and they also do many Bus charters to games. They are by far the biggest sports bar in the area, and the wings and pizza are great. If you ever get there early Sunday mornings for football Mario's cream of chicken soup is unbelievable. Harrys has also upgraded with a terrific beer garden! So if you want to check out a game they have tons of TV's, along with pool, ping pong, bags, poker machines poppa shot, you name it they got it and a great bartending staff as well. They also get ALL the pay-per view events for UFC and Boxing you cant beat it. Give them a try if your sports fan.

Came here for a birthday get together with some friends, we had dinner; which was delish and had a drink or two. Averages out to under $20 a person typically. I had there bacon burger, you cannot go wrong with it, it has some type of special sauce on there that is like a mayonnaise, so YUM! We stayed there for about two hours, our waitress was very sweet, we took pictures by their big Jenga play set, yes it'a huge life size Jenga statue thing a mobob- I'm not sure if you could play with it but it would be epic if you could! Very chill atmosphere, there wasn't a lot of people around 6pm probably because it was the middle of the week. If you're looking for a chill spot, come here during the week, has music going, dimmed lights, good food, good drinks and good service. I want to definitely come back on the weekends, watch a game or two and play on their pool table next time! Rack em' up boys! Either way, don't believe all statuses you see, if anything take a ride over there and check it out for yourself; everyone in the end is going to have a different experience. Nothing is ever consistent nowadays.

A very "Locals" bar but fantastic drink specials that change daily. The servers and bartenders are very attentive and helpful. The regulars at this bar are very fun and inviting. The looks of this bar are extremely deceiving its a "just like home" experience and a great atmosphere.

Harry's Bar is a special place. I have a love hate relationship with it. I hate that I sort of love it. I give it 2 stars mainly because of the management's outlook on certain things. My friends and I are frequenters of this establishment. Every Wednesday is trivia and my friends and I have been there every Wednesday since 2009. We always purchase several items to eat and pitchers as well though they would not allow us to use the gift certificates we won to pay even though they clearly said we could. Also, the food is not very good. When I say medium, I expect something other than a piece of meat drowning in it's own blood! The servers are also hit or miss. You can get a truly excellent waitress or someone too busy yaking it up with their boyfriends and their "cool" friends in the corner by the pool tables. If you like trivia and that's it, come by. If not, find another place.

Stopped by during the week at lunch. Had the $2 taco special, chicken wings and some drinks. The food was actually really good and our waitress was really nice. This place is a fooler from outside, it is huge inside and would be great for a party. I will definitely return.

went in on a saturday night because me and my buddies needed a place to watch the UFC fights. buffalo wild wings was jam packed with loud and obnoxious teenagers. I was very glad to see that Harry's had plenty of seating available (but it wasn't dead and boring). also the fact that they were checking IDs at the door was nice (takes care of the obnoxious teenagers problem). I don't really understand the need for them to have a 5 dollar cover charge considering it's just your average dive bar, not a club or anything. anyway, the food was quite good, I had the wings, my friend had a burger, and we were both happy with our food. the beer was cold, not super expensive, and the wait staff was pretty good at coming around regularly. all in all, I would say we will probably make it our regular UFC night destination.

This is actually a pretty good sports bar with plenty of good food and beverage selections!!! I've been here for many a sports event and there really isn't a bad seat in the house, unless you're in the restroom! There are TVs everywhere you look and also projector screens so you really never miss a second of the action. Finding parking can sometimes be a pain but it goes to show you how much people enjoy the place. The wings there are pretty darn amazing and they also have specials so that you can overindulge during the week! I also enjoy the Rueben, Philly Cheese steak, and the italian beef. There pizza is ok but a few hours in, it tastes amazing too...funny how that works out! I would recommend this place if you want to go out to watch any "big game" during the year. Check It Out!! -Papa Bear

I would like to say my first experience at Harry's was a good one, but it was anything but. They would not honor my Groupon without a minimum purchase (which was not stipulated in the Groupon) and the management was anything but accommodating. I asked them to show me where it required a minimum purchase which they were unable to do, I kindly asked to talk to management explaining my frustration and they told me I had to take it up with Groupon. Needless to say, they did not honor my voucher. I called Groupon immediately upon my departure and they credited me the full amount of the Groupon and apologized profusely for the ignorance of the establishment. I'm very easy going and it would take so little to keep me coming back to Harry's, but they could have cared less and were more concerned with a minimal amount of money to earning a customer for life. I will never return, and be sure to tell all my friends what an unpleasant experience I had.

This is another CHICKEN WING review! :-) Though Harry's is definitely a sports bar, they've cornered the market on suburban chicken wings! It's a relaxed, comfy spot to go whether you're watching your favorite team or playing Wednesday night trivia with DJ Nick Ray. I recently reviewed Q-BBQ for their wings and realized I hadn't reviewed Harry's--- the King of Suburban Wings for their Tuesday night 25 cent wing extravaganza. That's right, its "four clucks for a buck" at Harry's place so keep ordering, there's no limit. It's traditionally sports bar-like with the added bonus of a large outdoor patio and free bean bag play while you down a few beers on a hot summer afternoon or evening. There's always plenty of seating, attentive and friendly wait and bar staff and a couple of pool tables for friendly 'date night' games. We started hitting Harry's for those 25 cent chicken wings and the bean bag games. We've never experienced the bad service some have mentioned in their reviews. We've only stopped in between 6pm and maybe 11pm, so probably the service gets thinner as the bar gets more crowded, which I think is to be expected at a bar. The only complaint I have about this spot (the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) is the coldness (lack of ambiance) of the patio. I think the owners would benefit from infusing the outside patio seating with plant life. It's a concrete patio and could benefit from some welcoming greenery. The patio is secluded enough that with the right landscaping they'd probably get more lunchtime and dinner diners in search of an al fresco experience. All in all, Harry's is reliable for drinks and wings and I recommend them highly.

I work near by here every now & then so I come here for lunch when I can. There are always decent food & drink specials. It's pretty quiet during the day but the place gets hopping in the evening. It's a sports bar so there are TVs everywhere. Most of them are high Def with an HD signal. I can't stand going to a bar to watch sports & all they have are shitty standard def TVs. The place is big, no make that huge! They have pool tables, darts & all kinds of other arcade type games. There's a private party room but the last time I was there at night, a large group had their party in the regular dining area. I can't figure out the negative reviews other than I heard they have new owners & perhaps they were written under the previous owner?

The service here is horrible. My friend and I were in on a Tuesday night and the place was steady. There was only one bartender and one waitress. At first I thought that someone must have called in sick, but when I tried to make conversation with the waitress she said that it's always like this on Tues and Wed. She was obviously overwhelmed and didn't seem to care. It got to the point where we ordered two drinks each at a time so we weren't waiting so long between them. Upon leaving I needed to get my ID back since we were playing darts and the doorman was nowhere to be found. It had quieted down significantly and when I asked the waitress she said I'd just have to wait. The bartender finally came around and got my ID after I went behind the counter to look for it myself. The second star is because this place does have darts, pool, Golden Tee and some other games so you can distract yourself and it's spacious. The TVs definitely need to be upgraded though. Probably won't be back even though I live in the area. I've heard good things about Brixies in Brookfield. Have to check them out.

If you are looking for very good pub food Harry's is the place. Very relaxed atmosphere in a casual environment - reminds me of being up in Wisconsin. Great beer selection. We had the Harry's burger and the Chicken Bacon wrap - both very good and very large. Frys were killer! They had a $2.00 mini pitcher special - I ordered MGB - had 3 large glasses from it - c'mon!!! Will be back soon.

I keep coming back here because they have decent food and it's a central location for everyone in our group...but we really need to find a different place to go. I've seen a couple of reviews saying that this place has gotten "ghetto". And that is a pinpoint description. It used to be a good sports bar, but the current management seems more interested in turning it into a night club. If you actually want to talk to the people that you're out with, don't waste your time coming here on a Friday or Saturday night. During those times they bring in just terrible DJs who blast music so loud that you have to scream to talk to people 2 feet away. I'm not into club music to start with, but I have friends who are and even they say the DJs here are terrible. Also, they had a huge turnover in staff and almost everyone they've brought in is just not good at their job.

It's Sunday, 6'o fucking clock, one collection of nearing 30 year old women and waitresses off of their shift when I grab a seat at the bar. I'm killing time before I go to the Quarry to (finally) see Gran Torino. First, I get asked for an ID; it's been awhile since that happened before. I sit down and make eye contact with the bartender, but then she turns her back on me to continue conversation with a waitress. To talk about getting plowed. And how she would rather have his friend. While I sit there, pining for a Guiness and awkwardly watching funnycar races on one of the seven televisions that are overhead. I should have left after five minutes, but I didn't. That's my second mistake.* She drags her ass over to me and asks what I want; Guiness. She drags herself to pour it, stops halfway then goes to the back. Another five pass and she comes back to pour the rest. I get a pint of mostly head, which is a sin if you pour a Guiness. Asks me if I wanna order but don't have a menu. Again, drags out and gets one. I get the buffalo tenders since I doubt they would fuck it up. It wasn't fucked up when I got it ten minutes later. So I'm done, napkin on top of the cardboard thingy, Guiness on the little ledge. Ten minutes later, I get asked if I want the bill. Ten minutes later, I get my card back. One minute later she grabs my signed copy, and the 1 dollar tip I gave her, complete with a note on the printout: "ServASS" The place is somewhat nice, large and all. Indoor bags and a handfull of pool tables. You got GoldenTee and some lame Hunting game. Just not my scene. I won't go back and won't recommend it. *Obviously my first mistake was choosing this shithole to kill time at.

A very heavy male centric bar with better than average bar food. This is definately a great place to catch a football game. Plenty of seating and large screens all around the place. most people were not even at the bar as the large seating area was equipped with mega traon screens. They also have some young beauties serving the drinks at food which capped off this bar as above average.

I was warned about this place and the crappy service that they tend to give to their customers. I didn't have that bad of an experience as Dave did but the service was no better than average. My roommate and I went there to catch the football game and it was on every TV. No matter which way we looked we were able to see the game just fine! My burger was really good too. My only complaint which I can't blame on the bar was that every dirty old man there was hitting on us. We will probably be back sometime in the future as the food was good. There was nothing really memorable about this place to make me go out of my way though.

Harry's has lost there swagger. i used to praise this place. Even in another review I boasted about there wings, but it seems like the past few times I've gone there the service was just awful. I had to get up from my seat to go to the bar and get my drinks and a menu, because the service was so slow. When the waitress came around the second time, she gave me a miller lite instead of a bud lite. I took a drink out of it, and returned it to her when I realized it was the wrong beer. Without asking if I had drank out of it, she took it away to another table and switched it with another customer explaining to them she had given them the wrong beer. I told her I wouldn't except that beer, and she gave me an attitude. How trashy this place has become to serve customers drinks that have been drank from already. The wings really suck now. They were so mutated and burnt, I couldn't tell if I had a drum or a wing. The only thing good about this place are the T.V.s now.

My husband, a few friends, and I went there many times. I will not go again, because the last time we were there for a UFC event the waitress quoted us a different price than we were charged. We talked to her and the "manager" and they did not seem to care. I even called when I got home and talked to someone. The waitress or another manager was supposed to call me back and it never happened. I am glad the BWW is near by, so that UFC can be watched without a cover charge. Harry's lost a lot of business from us, by how the way they "take care" of their customers.

First off, let me start by saying that I work as a server and have for 8 years from hole in the wall places to fine dining. The service is the worst I've EVER experienced in any restaurant/bar. I come here often (usually I'd rate this place a 3-the only redeeming factor is the food/atmosphere). Tonight set me over the edge and will guarantee that myself and everyone I work with that comes to Harry's very often would never return. Ok, to start we walked into the bar (not terribly crowded) and sit down at a table. They have 4 servers working-believe me, I counted them. Watched them all walk past our table and not ONE stop to offer us drinks. Finally after 10minutes we walk up to the bar and order a drink. My friend suggests the martini thats on their menu tents..oh wait-the bartender doesn't know how to make it or what I'm even referring to, then asks me how to make it-do I work there? She finally asks another bartender after 5minutes and says that she has to get another bottle of vodka to make it. 10minutes later she returns to tell us that she only has enough to make one...Order another drink. In the 15minutes she was on the other side of the bar, I flag down the other bartender to order food, since we obviously weren't getting service from the other snotty servers that didn't want to make $. We place our order, pay, and tip the bartender and tell her well be sitting at the table directly in eye sight of the bar..and kitchen. Did I mention that we all could see into the kitchen? And that myself and 3 other friends are all waitresses??? The food came up no more that 10minutes after it was ordered-and we watched it sit in the window for damn near 15minutes while the cooks rang the bell for the lazy bartender or bitch server to bring it to the PAYING customer. Oh and to add icing to the cake-I watched one waitress look at the food, look at the ticket, then continue to let it sit in the window, not tell the bartender and stuff her fat face with fries and chicken. This was BY FAR the worst customer service I've ever had-Harry's and their staff can bite the big one. Don't waste your time with this place-go down the street to Time Out or Palmer's where they actually appreciate your business.

After reading most of the other comments, I felt I had to chime in. I must completely agree that quite often the service is rather painfully slow or almost nonexistent. (I, too, have had the waitress look at me, walk past, and not even give me the time of day.) I have also worked as a server in the past, and feel that if you want to make a decent tip, it all starts with acknowledging you have someone sitting in your section who wants to give you money. The group I was with once had to flag down a busboy and ask him to send a server over because they completely kept walking past us. Had asked for menus and she just dropped them off and ran away. It literally took a lot of energy to not make a scene. I mean, seriously, if you're going into an establishment to give them money, then dammit, I want SERVICE in return. Maybe hiring girls who aren't complete flakes and knowing how to waitress would be a good place to start. They could certainly earn a lot more money if they paid a little more attention. just sayin'. HOWEVER, if you are looking for that amped up experience you can only get from a good sports bar, this is a great place to enjoy your favorite sports games. When the team scores, nearly every one in the place is doling out the high fives and cheering loudly! Better than sitting there and celebrating 'on the inside'. And that is the reason why I return. I've never seen any ignorant customers getting loud and/or obnoxious and ruining other people's good times. But I have overheard other tables complaining about their lack of service, too.

The service at the tables is usually good, especially during sporting events where it's busy. But trying to get someones attention at the bar is painful at times. As far as the food, itr has ranged from good to bad, and I have a feeling that it's usually consistent with my range of drunk to sober. The TV's in place need to be updated and fast!! They have 4 huge projection TV's that were popular back in the early 90's. Soi it makes it hard to watch the games because most of the pictures are fuzzy. There are alot of smaller TV''s by the bar, but if your sitting in the dining area, good luck trying to read any words on the screen. Everything else is just a typical bar, the music is usually decent, but there are alot of Chachie's in here with gold heringbone chains and sweet hair parted down the middle.

Cassie B.
they have a lot of TVs, including a large centralized projection one, good for a TV event that everyone wants to watch (i.e., for a bears game). otherwise, not so much. they also have about 6 pool tables. good actually for a relaxing night out. agreed, service is less than polite. i can't speak to the food, though they have several bar trivia machines. fun!

The service here has always been sub par so why do I keep returning for more abuse? The food here is extremely good for it being a bar. The BBQ is great and the pizza and burgers are excellent also. The have plenty of seating and everyone one of their sets have an unobstructed view of TV so it is a good place to watch a game. The service I had tonight was OK but the last time I was there we had to ask our server for another round every time we were done with our drinks. When we did ask her she acted like we were being such an inconvenience and it took quite a long time just to get them.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

We walked in and were treated so rudely by the "host" that we left before ordering. It was almost as if he wanted us to leave. Couldn't have been worse unless we had stayed.

Pizza and beer too easy to screw up . But the waitress was not sociable. The jukebox. SUCKS! GET RID OF IT! Songs are cut off. Bathroom smells

went in on a saturday night because me and my buddies needed a place to watch the UFC fights. buffalo wild wings was jam packed with loud and obnoxious teenagers.

Good pizza, decent appetizers... Lots of TV's (great for watching sports because their really isn't anywhere you can't see a TV).

We had our Granddaughters 1st Birthday Party Catered from Harry's. The food was amazing! I ordered the Italian Beef, Chicken Parmesan,Hot Wings and the Chef Salad. Everything was great. I can't wait for my next party so I can have Harry's cater for me again.

(2)Cassie B.
they have a lot of TVs, including a large centralized projection one, good for a TV event that everyone wants to watch (i.e., for a bears game). otherwise, not so much. they also have about 6 pool tables. good actually for a relaxing night out. agreed, service is less than polite. i can't speak to the food, though they have several bar trivia machines. fun!
(3)Dave S.
