Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

We just moved to the area. I normally ate at Golden wok in Brookfield which is the best in town. Tried this place it wasn't bad. We had shrimp fried rice' orange chicken, beef teriyaki sticks, crab ragoon, tomato, pepper and beef and egg rolls. Everything was pretty tasety and the person at the counter was very helpful. I would definitely go back again.

ok the fried foods could use some improvement . It's old not newly remodeled but they do have the best egg foo young. The food is always fresh and hot. People are nice. Their other foods are rather tasty, they deliver in a hurry. Its one of my favorite stops when I want chinese minus maybe things like crab ragoon, etc. Chop Suey is good ,fried rice is good etc. They always make it fresh to order.

Our friends told us about this place so we decided to check it out. It is what it is - a typical strip center "restaurant". Since our friends raved about this place we ended up ordering from here a few times, thinking the food would get better. We got the veggie egg rolls (OK - had better), sweet n' sour chicken (too breaded - can't taste the chicken, salty, too saucy), fried rice (OK, nothing special) and wonton soup (had much better, the pork filled noodles were way over cooked). We never dined in. It's not a good comparison, but we prefer to drive +/- 1 hour to Friendship Restaurant on Milwaukee Ave.

I am so jealous whenever I visit my friends on the east coast. Did you know that pretty much every takeout place in Manhattan also delivers? And most of them do it for free. Here in the suburbs, not so much. Where I live I'm lucky to have a pizza place willing to come to me, and it's not like I'm in the boonies or anything. I think they just forget that my town exists since it's kind of a bedroom community. Anyway, I was thrilled when I discovered that Gold Dragon is willing to make the ghastly trek down Willow Springs Road to my house. Seriously, it must take them all of five minutes to get there. The speed is their major high point. Whenever I order it's there in 30 minutes. No problem. We've ordered 2 or 3 times now and each time we try something different. I'm not saying it's the very BEST Chinese food. But when you're having a night, or a weekend (or even a week) when you don't want to wear anything but pajamas, then the idea of Chinese food coming to your house is pretty glorious. The fried rice is a favorite, followed by chow fun. Last night we tried kung pow, which was flavorful and adequately spicy. The potstickers are a little doughy, but the other appetizers are done well. We've tried the crab rangoon, which are free if you spend $15. Mention that. And the bbq pork is flavorful too. Their dinner for 2 is also nice, and includes way more food than two people should eat. If I had a choice for places to go for Chinese, I probably wouldn't pick Gold Dragon, but to sit in your couch and watch a movie, it's perfect.

While at a friends we tried to find something easy to deliver. This restaurant had better prices than some of their competition so we decided to order from here. We paid $35 for three entrees and a small order of fried rice. There also was a coupon for a free order of crab Rangoon. Although the price was right, food was not. It came well after the quoted 45 minutes, and that could have contributed to the crappiness. The orange chicken had decent flavor, although not orangey, but was totally rubbery. It was basically inedible. The fried rice was also sub par. Chicken in here was rubbery as well, low quality. The crab Rangoon was the best thing I had, but I wish it was served with sweet and sour sauce. Definitely will not be visiting/ordering from here again.

This place has some of the best Chinese food I've had. It's kind of "hole in the wall", definitely a place that's better to go for pick up or have delivered than to dine in. I swear there have been sitting on a table for over a year, like the place is under construction. Everything I've tried has been hot, yummy, and way more than needed. Will order from here again!

Good stuff. Especially for lunch. They have good priced specials that include fried rice and a egg roll. I have been going here off and on since 2007 and I am satisfied every time. They have a decent eat in area, but I usually take the food to go. They are polite and speak better English than most. If you are in the area, give them a try.

we tried several places in the area, and this seems to be the best, and on top of it all, they deliver, we were skeptical after reading reviews, but we are now big fans. We highly recommend this place

This place may appear to be run-down or just plain uninviting but I must urge you to try it once. First time I went it was with some friends during my lunch hour at work. The prices were very competitive and so much food was given we could barely finish. I ordered Egg Foo Yung (my secret to judging good Chinese Take Out Restaurants) and it was amazing. The egg was perfectly fried and the inside was light and juicy. I ordered it with shrimp and I got a ton of it in both patties. The egg rolls are ok, nothing new to them. They seemed to skimp on the filling of the egg roll because all I could taste chewing was cabbage. The egg drop soup was subpar. Way too much starch in it made it feel gravy like not soupy at all. And the fried rice wasn't special or good, rice was way too dry and felt difficult to chew through. Since then I've gone back a few more times and just order myself the small order of Shrimp Egg Foo Yung.

This is a Chinese restaurant in a strip mall with eat in service. I found them through one of those coupon magazines that get mailed to your house. Since I was close by, I figured I would try them out since they offered chow fun and pan fried noodles. Not many suburban Chinese places offer pan fried noodles Cantonese style. we ordered pot stickers (not the best I've had), beef chow fun (unusually sweet and the noodles were a little undercooked), shredded pork chow mein (not very tasty) and bbq pork fried rice (fine, again, not the best). overall, mediocre. kind of disappointing. but I'll give it another try another time though.
