Consistent with most Bob Evans. Bacon and eggs were good as well as the cheese omelet hash, browns and French toast. I ordered coffee as we waited but there was no silverware/napkins on the table so I ended up stirring my coffee and cream with a straw from my husbands coke. It was ok, the straw worked. The server brought our food but still didn't realize we didn't have silverware or napkins. I would think paying a little more attention to details would be a good idea.

This wasn't the best experience I have had with Bob Evans. The kitchen did not put BBQ sauce on my BBQ burger. I asked the waitress about this and she brought me hot Chipotle sauce instead. She said this was what they use. If this is true I would have thought it would be called a Chipotle burger. Later she came up and said that she had been so busy she did not have time to tell me they were out of BBQ sauce and were making it in the back. I had only 2 bites of my sandwich left and told her not to bother. She also gave the bread I requested to my father. I will probably be back and though she was nice, I hope we don't have her again.

Really good wholesome dinner-at-mom's kind of vibe with nice waitstaff and honest food. The mashed potatoes that came with hubby's roasted turkey dinner (that he inhaled) were REAL. As in boil a potato, mash it, add milk, butter, salt and pepper REAL mashed potatoes. AWESOME. Unexpected but awesome none the less. Good iced tea too--not just flavored water but good flavor and not overbrewed to the strip-varnish-from-the-table strong. My chicken was well done, just as I requested and my green beans were flavored with ham and just like grandma's so I was a happy camper. Hubby's combo meal came with a good fresh salad and a small dessert as well as unlimited bread and rolls including their specialty seasonal breads like pumpkin, cherry nut and banana nut. Not a bad deal for dinner for 2 for $25 or so. It's solidly good and newly remodeled and they did a nice job with it.

We stayed the weekend and were in town for the Cubs at Cardinals game. We stopped in for breakfast before the game. At first the server was punctual but then after we ordered she disappeared. People who showed up after we did got served before we did. I had to track our server down to get our food. Our daughters pancake was cold, she didn't remember who got what bread and she didn't refill our coffee. I won't be back any time soon.

Comfort food for a cold gray day. Warm biscuits, bottomless cup of coffee, and a pitcher of cream. I was tempted by the famous Rise-and-Shine breakfast, but instead went with the luncheon Pick Two combo. Salad greens were fresh, and the cheddar potato soup was filling. My tablemate's Pot Roast Stroganoff looked good, too.
