My husband and I visited when we were in town on vacation. We'd been schlepping around the city for hours and were STARVING. We were pleasantly surprised to find this place from good Yelp reviews right around the corner from where we were staying. It was amazing! We went at a weird time (maybe 2 or 3 pm on a weekday?) so it was quiet. The staff were extremely attentive and took time to explain the menu, food prep, and ingredients. We thought our panini were incredibly fresh, delicious and satisfying. We both loved the handmade sauces that came with our panini. Our friends live right around the corner and since our positive experience, they've gone also! Can't wait to visit when we're in town again!

Love this place! The Fresh Veggie panini is delicious, and get the special sauce with it, too. Lentil soup is awesome, and other people I've dined with have loved the other paninis as well, specifically the Chicago Fire! The owner is a super nice guy, he even went our of his way one night to help us jump start our car when it died around the corner from the shop! Customer service doesn't get better than that. Inexpensive, fresh, delicious food with excellent service.
(5)Melissa K.
This is a cute little spot that I have seen places come and go, but I hope Panini Republic is here to stay. The guys behind the counter were super friendly and helpful. I had the Cubano and it was delish! I wasn't even starving when I went in, so I took half of my sandwich to go and it was still great after a brief turn in the microwave. I'm a big fan!
(5)Sarah Z.
I ordered a green juice from this place. It was very tasty and definitely fresh with real ingredients (which I appreciate)!!
(5)Chase H.
I had the Bacon Bacon and it was delicious. Quick service, very friendly, not too expensive, and very fresh ingredients. Great lunch spot.
(5)Amy G.
I've ordered from Panini Republic three times. Two times, the food was amazing. The one other time was the Superbowl, when there was a blizzard and no one would deliver - not even PR's fault, since it was their delivery service that had the issue. Anyway, the food arrives quickly (I live 3-4 blocks away, but still, 30 minutes is great), is fresh and warm when it comes. I LOVE the smoked salmon salmon sandwich, my boyfriend swears by the Chicago Fire, and we both adore the lentil soup - I crave that soup all the time now, so delicious. Can't wait to order again!!! Maybe I'll even be adventurous and try something else :-)
(5)Andrew J.
This place is awesome. Super nice service and super tasty food. I have been back multiple times and will continue to go. I always get the Reuben with lentil (or sweet potato soup) yum.
(5)Kiaya A.
A crispy crunchy with the perfect taste. Good prices and very friendly service. The multi grain bread is wonderful. The Reuben panini was a perfect combination of roast beef and pastrami!
(5)Tom K.
Really tasty Cubano panini, warm all the way through unlike many others I've had. Green smoothie just the right mixture of sweet and veggies.
(5)Anna B.
The owners are courteous and very nice. Everything here is FRESH. Unlike Jamba Juice, my smoothie didn't have old or frozen produce or any extra sugary juices. Give this place your business please so they stick around!
(5)Cheyanne J.
Live in the neighborhood and I crave their Paninis, so yummy. Fresh ingredients and good service.
(5)James B.
Fantastic service and great food. I love the smoked salmon panini, the soups are all great, the republic sauce is delicious, and your sandwich comes out fast and hot. I got delivery one weekend via grub hub, and it came faster than I expected and still tasted fresh. I've had it quite a few times before I decided to write a review, and never once was I disappointed. The fact that it shares a hallway with a bar means you can even grab it late night on Fridays and Saturdays. A true home run.
(5)Alanna M.
The best sandwich I've had in years...maybe ever! I got the smoked salmon on multigrain. Very impressed with the quality of ingredients and cleanliness! Staff was fast and accommodating. A must try!!
(5)Lex C.
As always the sandwiches and soups are magnificent. The bacon bacon panini is amazing and the sweet potato soup is delicious. Delivery service was quick and the food was hot. They have not disappointed me me this far, I love this spot.
(5)Amy D.
I would suggest walking a few more feet and going to Potbellys. my panini, was more like just bread. They lacked putting any meats or veggies on. They suggested some hot sauce and it tasted like mayo. I know they just opened, but they need to get it together. They were friendly, clean, and fast- that's why I gave a 3 star.
(3)Levon A.
Tasty meat lovers panini! Great service. Friendly and fast. What else do you want? Unicorns?
(5)Lindsey D.
The food here is alright, nothing special. Their policy is to panini every sandwich, they refused to let me have one cold (not toasted). Ridiculous, will not be returning, especially when Potbelly is right across the street.
(1)A A.
In the hum drum of urban lunch commercialism, that is Chipotle, PotBellys and Jimmy Johns, there is relief. Panini Republic may not be the next big sandwich shop, but it adds a welcome recpite with enough unique offerings to give a fresh take on the handheld meal routine. As one walks in, the familiar in-and-out, build-your-lunch bar is front and center. The tunes are exciting and the staff is always friendly. Constructing the panini is straightforward, but again, houses rare offerings to elevate and separate their product. A pretzel bun for a panini? Yes please. Harissa, a spicy and complex sauce? Heck yeah. Garlic spread with extra Pesto sauce? Only if you like awesome. The soups are great. Their bread and sauces are utterly fantastic. However, the meat, veggies, and cheese selection is limited. It's a great bite, but I'm not going to drop everything to head to here. A solid four stars.
(4)Kevin P.
I really like this place. Super friendly guys behind the counter and a really nice quaint atmosphere. The food was delicious as everyone we were with really enjoying their ordered. The sandwiches are good sizes and fairly priced. I highly recommend the "Panini Republic" sauce on the side (spicy or mild). Additionally if you are a soup person, I HIGHLY recommend coming here for soup. They are homemade on location and delicious. The two I have tried are Sweet Potato and Lentil Soup. This places is great if you are in the mood for a delicious hot sandwich.
(5)Elizabeth H.
I ordered the Smoked Salmon panini and it was phenomenal!! Nothing to complain about, the salmon was very fresh and tasty and paired amazing with the pesto and garlic sauce. Very good sandwich and amazing prices!
(5)Kat J.
AWESOME! I live in near this place and I love sandwiches, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Everything tastes fresh and great. I'd recommend getting pretzel bread.
(5)Holly S.
LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I work down the street and get lunch or dinner from Panini Republic at least once a week!!! Such friendly guys- they remember me and my order every time! Delicious soups too! Make sure to get the republic sauce with your panini! Definitely worth trying out!
(5)Jackie W.
Great paninis and excellent friendly customer service. Signature sauce goes well with paninis. My new favorite sandwich stop in Lakeview.
(4)J F.
The guys here are really friendly and they serve quality sandwiches. Definitely get the extra special sauce they offer. I hope they succeed with this spot.
(4)Dorien S.
It is really good food!!! Good customer service and and good environment to be in, with cool decor. I would come back again. The only let down was the amount of food that I got.
(5)Julia C.
Everything was absolutely delicious! I got the Fresh Veggie on multigrain and the Very Greens Smoothie. The sandwich was tasty and filling. The smoothie was very refreshing and not too sweet. Also, their special sauce is the bomb dot com.
(5)Karlie T.
The workers were super friendly both times I was in there. The first time I had it was after a night at Galway downstairs. Awesome advertising going down with samples, btw. Awesome way to bring in people after a few drinks. The only problem I have is with the choices. It's limited. Not a lot of meats or toppings and the cheese situation is definitely an issue. The taste is good tho for what they have. If they get more toppings I would definitely give more stars. For now tho, it does awesome as drunk food on the weekend since they're open until 3!
(3)Lauren M.
The food and the service were fantastic! We are thrilled to have this addition to the neighborhood.
(5)Rich L.
Please keep this little gem of a place a secret. If everyone shows up all at once it will chaos.. pandamonium will ensue... it will be anarchy.. if you do get to go to the Panini Republic.. be sure to as for a side of "Republic Sauce" Not oficially on the menu.. it will change your life. That is all.
(5)Loni C.
Delicious paninis! I got a chicken and turkey panini on multigrain and it was amazing. My brother in law got one with red meat on the pretzel bread and my hubby got a red meat one on white bread. Everyone was really happy with their paninis! The prices were right on as well and we found out they are open til 3am on Saturday nights. We live in the area and know this will be our late night spot. Highly recommend. My tummy is very happy :)
(5)Emily E.
Awesome place! Super cool, modern, fresh, clean environment and decor. The workers were extremely friendly and eager to give suggestions. The paninis my boyfriend and I got (I think they were called the "Little Italy" and "Meat Lovers") were incredibly delicious and bursting with flavor. I only wish that I could've gotten more for what I paid for--maybe a side or some chips would've been nice. Regardless, it's a great place!
(4)Mike L.
This place is a hidden gem. All the paninis are amazing. It's a great lunch spot or if you're being lazy for dinner order this for take out! Fair prices, great selection, great service. My favorite is the Meat Lovers panini
(5)Alexandra C.
Love love love this place! The guys who run this place are so nice and they make some killer panini's. Definitely check this place out.
(5)Matt M.
Great food. I recommend giving this panini shop a shot. Competitive pricing and a unique taste. Visiting from Minneapolis.
(5)L L.
Friendly staff, fresh ingredients and amazing bread. Every bite was crunchy, warm & delicious. We'll be back!
(4)Christine S.
Smoked salmon panini is phenomenal!! So flavorful and fresh. Great service and friendly. Cool decor - very New York City.
(5)Winslow M.
The Chicago Fire panini and republic sauce are very tasty. We were also given a taste of smoothie and baklava on the house. Definitely worth checking out!
(5)Maria P.
Great service, very fresh, tasty food, and a bright, happy space. It's a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. I had the smoked salmon panini on pretzel, and it was delicious. The pretzel was a standout, and try the dipping sauce! I also had a greens smoothie. I'm normally not a big fan of veggie smoothies (too much veggie), but it was tasty, and I'll definitely be back for another.
(5)Brittany J.
Wow what a friendly staff! And the sandwiches are delicious. I've been back more than once for the smoked salmon and it's always delicious. Give it a shot, you won't regret it#!
(5)Lorraine G.
This place is absolutely amazing! It's fresh, fair prices, and the staff is killer! Had a fantastic smoked salmon panini and I went home happy because of food! They even have freshly made, all natural smoothies!!! Definitely try this place out!!
(5)Karen V.
If you're craving a panini just like I was - this is definitely the spot to hit up! The interior is fresh, new, bright, and clean. I am currently eating the Chicago Fire on the multi-grain bread as I speak and it's very light and crisp with a very small hint of spice and loaded all with really fresh ingredients. The owner Leo was the one who made my panini. He put all the sauces together for me and they all taste real great together, they're also housemade. He gave me a sample of the sweet potato soup and lentil soup, which I'll definitely have to get next time I'm in.
(5)Or G.
Rumors are going around in lakeview about this place so I decided to check it out. They were right, this place is great. So far I had the little Italy panini and the smoked salmon and I loved it . Next on my list is the meat lover .
(5)Jay D.
Just picked up lunch to go from here. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was spotless. The chicken noodle soup was very hearty and full of flavor. I ordered the little Italy on pretzel bun and it was just enough, tasted great. I'll definitely be coming back.
(5)Ryan S.
Delicious panini and great service! I had the Meat Lovers panini, but it was a tough choice between that and the Bacon Bacon. The guys behind the counter were very friendly, and recommended that we try the spicy Mediterranean sauce with the paninis. They make all their sauces and slice meats and cheeses on site. Very clean inside. I'd definitely come back!
(5)Danni B.
This panini in my hand right now is on point. They need hot peppers. And the potato soup is bland. But it's a great stop! Next time I'll get lentil
(4)Stephen E.
By far my favorite sandwich place and so good that I decided to sign up for yelp just so I can write this review! The owners are great guys, respectful, professional and know how to make an excellent sandwich. I love the little italy and the special sauce they make is addicting. I hope these guys stay in buisness for a long time and open in a few areas so more people can experience their food. Keep up the great work guys!
(5)Michelle S.
Excellent food, all natural w/ healthy options. Delivery came earlier than estimated. And in store the owners are very attentive and nice.
(5)Chris D.
Fresh and delicious. The pretzel bread is great
(5)D D.
Great service, I love the veggie panini with a side of the spicy sauce, consistently great!
(5)Shaun M.
Fresh ingredients, friendly service, excellent flavor, and very reasonably priced. The Cubano had the perfect balance of flavors and the lentil soup was nicely seasoned. I'll be a regular here, and I hope others will join me.
(5)Bad F.
I am nuts about this place! SO GLAD to have them on the block! The owner is a super nice man and the sandwiches are SUPERB! Love! Love! Love!
(5)Anna M.
The panini sandwiches are really great! Simple concept and delicious. Basically build your own sandwich. I had a chicken panini with garlic sauce - very fresh and great flavor. We will definitely be back. Staff was really nice as well.
(5)Biff J.
Great sandwiches and service. The republic sauce is awesome.
(5)Chris m.
Great new addition to our little neighborhood block. Hard to fill the shoes of the previous (sandwich) tenant of that space, Red Hen, but I am very optimistic. I have been there twice and both times have been craving more. The bread and the way they press/toast it is great. It's not like the usual flat sliced-bread paninis you might expect. They have a thicker concept with your choice of pretzel, white or wheat. The pretzel, which is what I have had twice is outstanding. First I had that with their turkey pastrami and a few other ingredients and their garlic mayo. The garlic mayo is not for the faint of heart! I love it but it's super strong! Next time I did the smoked salmon and it was amazing. It's a great early lunch/brunch type item. They are delicious, crunchy and toasty sandwiches with basically whatever you want from their selection of high-quality ingredients. I'm sure I will have more to say as I try some of their other offerings such as sides and salads, but for now my focus is on their sandwiches. Oh yeah, and the staff and owners are super nice and welcoming. Try it! I hope they do well!
(5)Tom B.
I visited a second time and did indeed get more veggies on my Panini. In fact, I think there were quite a few more ingredients from which to choose than on my first visit. It would be nice if the multi-grain bread was just a bit thinner, but again it was fresh and tasty. I tried two soups as well. The sweet potato was excellent. The lentil was very flavorful and substantial but a little too salty. The restaurant itself is very clean and bright and the staff friendly and helpful. This is a good addition to the neighborhood.
(4)Jennifer B.
This place is awesome! Fresh ingredients, great soup, and the employees are super friendly! I am addicted to Panini Republic!c
(5)Nick T.
Just tried this place for the first time. I got the Cubano on pretzel bread and loved it. It's tasty, fresh, clean, cheap, and friendly. I would definitely recommend this over potbelly a few blocks away.
(5)Chris M.
Great idea. I've tried 3 paninis from here and they were all incredible. The employees are always very friendly.
(5)Lauren L.
I have tried almost all of their menu and was never disappointed! Their paninis are wonderful. You can't go wrong no matter what you order!
(5)Kendal P.
Pretty good paninis! The bread was fresh and the meats are high quality. I appreciate that they don't have an overwhelming amount of toppings to choose from as that can sometimes make ordering food a lot more complicated than it needs to be. The owner is a super nice guy, though. If you live nearby or happen to pass this restaurant, give it a try.
(4)Oli B.
Very friendly owners and great tasting sandwich. We split a veggie sandwich on wheat and that was enough for both of us. Def. stopping back soon :)
(5)Jason F.
Great panini for a fair price. Nice atmosphere and the owner is extremely friendly/helpful! Got the meat lovers on white, perfect amount if food for lunch.
(5)Coral M.
This place is one if my new neighborhood eats! Fresh, fast, and DELICIOUS! The owner and staff were extremely friendly and were giving suggestions and asking feedback to make it even better! Late night hours on Saturday and Sunday are the icing on the cake for some yummy and healthy late nice grub!
(5)ILAN B.
Fresh and tasty food, good portions, great service. Im glad this place open up a block from my work. I hope this place booms.
(5)Erin R.
This place is so delicious! Love how fresh the sandwiches are! This cute little shop is also very clean and welcoming.
(5)Brent K.
Awesome. Super Fresh, Super nice. Highly recommend the Chicago Fire - gotta ask for the "Republic Sauce" that they mix up fresh right in front of you. Next Im going to try their smoothies - they were sorting through all the fresh fruits and veggies to prep the smoothies when I was there. Apparently no frozen fruits/sugary fillers which is awesome and hard to find. Ill be back soon for sure.
(5)Meital N.
I was out with a friend and someone gave us a invitation to try The Panini Republic. We came right in and WOWWWW the panini was amazing!! The customer service was excellent and it is so inviting and clean inside. The price is very resonable and my friends and I will be frequent customers!!
(5)Amit P.
Fresh, delicious ! Owner is friendly and provides great service. Clean, fresh environment if you decide to eat in. Perfect addition to the neighborhood .
(5)Melissa M.
This place was not very good. The meat and cheese were pretty average. I could have made a better sandwich buying meat and cheese from the marketplace across the street. They should really get better quality and more variety of meats. How do they not have any Italian meats or cheese? I'm sorry but shredded provolone or cheddar does not count. I would return if they pumped up the menu and made the sandwhiches worth the 7 bucks a piece they charge.
(3)Pearl T.
Yummy, sold sandwich place... been here three times now in the last three days! The sauces are great, especially when you combine several together. Hubby and I really like the combination of sweet chili, chipotle and garlic. I usually go with their pretzel bread and hubby loves their multi-grain. I wish they also offered wheat bread though. Their selection of meats are standard and include pastrami, roast beef, turkey, chicken, bacon and they've also got smoked salmon. They've only had two choices of cheese the times I've gone... cheddar and mozzarella, and their produce options are basic: spinach, tomato, red onion and mushroom. For about $6.50 you get a freshly-made, hot, delicious sandwich, which is what brings me back. I'd love to see them expand their cheese and produce selection a bit more (blue cheese, swiss, red pepper)... and maybe bring in a rotating specialty meat offering (carnitas, char siu, etc.) to really notch the yum factor up and take it over the top. Will definitely be coming back. Nice to have a place like this in the neighborhood.
(4)Carolina N.
Very excited to have this place near my house. I tried to the Little Italy and it was amazing! One of the best panini's I've ever had! The bread is great, the ingredients are fresh, and the way they grill the panini is quite special. The staff is very friendly and they seem to be having a good time, which I like to see. Just like other people have mentioned: GET THE SPICY SAUCE ON THE SIDE! You'll be happy you did. I already can't wait to go back!
(5)Venkat R.
This is just a gem of a place. Arguably the best panini I've ever had.. Very friendly staff, great fresh meat and vegetables and the best part is it's open late. Just a word of caution... This place is addictive.
(5)Patrick B.
Get the Chicago Fire or the Little Italy!! Super friendly staff, very clean on the inside, and reasonably priced. I live right across the street and it's nice to have a great sandwich so close. Get the spicy sauce on the side!
(5)Sarah M.
Quick, healthy food. Had the farmhouse salad and it was fresh and wonderful. Will definitely go back again!
(5)Kristy B.
What an awesome establishment! I just tried this place for the first time and I'm quite impressed! I read their reviews on Yelp before coming in, and by the looks of it, this place is pretty brand new. Well, for being new, they sure got things right the first time! I had an awesome dining experience here. When I walked in, I was greeted by a super friendly, helpful guy. He told me everything they had to offer and explained the menu to me thoroughly. I went with the Bacon Bacon Panini on a pretzel bun. I've never had a panini on a pretzel bun before. Let me tell you, before THIS place, I was missing out! The pretzel bun was delicious. He even mixed together some sauces to create a house/signature sauce for me to dip my sandwich in. I tried a sample of their sweet potato Mediterranean soup and it was great! I got a sandwich and drink for $9.73. Not bad for Lakeview! Everything was tasty and fresh. The place itself was fresh and clean. Almost looks like an Apple store with white being the main color. They were also playing Bob Marley while I was there, so bonus points for that! I could go on and on about this place and their awesome food and their amazing service. But you should just try it yourself. I've definitely found my new go-to sandwich spot! It's just a few blocks from my apartment, too! Winning at LIFE right now.
(5)Damian C.
This place is the new brightly shining star glowing over Diversey and Pine Grove. I watched the place go up and I finally stopped in to try it today. Ok, I would have tried it sooner, but I am so so so busy at work and traveling so much it's been impossible to really commit to going. But I am a sucker for a good sandwich and have an even larger appreciation for paninis of late, so it was time to panini myself. There are two options here: you can build a sandwich to your preference, or you can pick one of the sandwiches on the menu. Previously, it was kind of a "build-your-own-shop", but has since changed; we spoke to the guy at the counter who explained that the menu was derived statistically, based on the most common order combinations from patrons. AMAZING! A place that actually listens to and crafts a menu for its customers? Right on! I went with the Little Italy, mainly because it had pesto and I could eat pesto anytime, anywhere. A pretzel panini? Yes please. Have you ever had a panini on a pretzel roll? If you haven't, you are missing out, people. I loved how the panini press burned the pretzel and made it more crusty... kind of like an actual pretzel! Combined with a bag of chips and a pop I was completely satisfied. Savior. And with Galway Bay downstairs, these people are going to bank. The proximity to my apartment is clutch and it's good enough to make regular appearances. This way, I won't have to make shameful walks to 7-11 for late night food anymore.
(5)Tim F.
As of today this place is 5 Stars on Yelp!! Umm...How bout no. I've been here 3 times now and I was not overly impressed either time. Well, definitely not impressed enough to give it 5 Stars. Jeez. What is wrong with you people. Fake reviews perhaps? Who knows. I have had the Republic Reuben, Little Italy, and the Chicago Fire. The sandwiches are long but are very thin on...everything. Thin on meat...thin on veggies. You will probably still be a little hungry after eating it. But that is fine I guess. I respect restaurants that replace quantity for quality. But that's the problem here. The quality of the food isn't there either. Everything just has a plasticky, rubbery texture to it. It just doesn't feel good to be eating at all. I'd actually rather be eating at....here it comes....Potbelly. Ouch.
(2)Kyle D.
Absolutely loving this place. All of their sandwiches are made super quick and are fantastic. Could not recommend more.
(5)Zach S.
Great spot in east lakeview. The lentil soup and meat lovers panini were both super tasty. The place also has great decor
(5)Jules H.
Confession... I get the same thing every time I go here for lunch, so my review is for the veggie panini. The bread is so fresh, as are the ingredients. I love that the panini's are not greasy- no butter or oil when they toast them! Oh, and try the republic sauce if you can handle a little kick!
(5)Shawn M.
In town for vacation..finished up at the zoo and found this place a short walk across the park..really great sammies, wife loved the salmon salad, kids loved the chicken noodle soup. Really friendly staff and clean store. Will definitely eat here again.
(5)Austin V.
Love the Panini Republic! I've been coming here since the first day they opened. The owners are always welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend the "Little Italy" or the "Chicago Fire", can't go wrong with either of those!
(5)Mary S.
Was so happy when something finally opened up in this vacant spot. And even happier when it was a healthy-looking sandwich shop! Being vegetarian the only option for a sandwich is the Fresh Veggie which they don't really put a lot on. (You know how at Subway when you ask for black olives they give you like, 3? Yeah...think that.) And it's not like they don't have other veggies to add to the sandwich, since they have salads with carrots, cucumbers or beets, so why not allow for a "build your own veggie" sandwich. The sandwich was good but so thin since there was barely anything in it. Also tried the lentil soup while there, which I have to admit, was amazing! I would go back just for the soup ($3.25) and hold off on the baby sandwich with a big price ($5.75, at which point I'd rather just go to Potbelly for that price, also right down the street). May come back at some point for more soup and to try a salad, but will stray way from the over-priced veggie sandwich.
(3)Evan S.
Always fresh and delicious sandwiches. Meat lovers always hits the spot with some jalapeno chips. I'll go here over any fast food sandwich shop.
(5)Sean D.
I ate here tonight after a long day walking around Lincoln Park. The people working the counter were exceptionally nice. I got the 'bacon bacon' and it was quite good, except for the bread, which was little more than mediocre. My only other complaint was that a couple things were in really awkward places, for example the soda machine was on the other end from where you checked out and the lids and straws were also away from the drinks. Also, they misused an apostrophe on their napkins (see picture)
(4)Hollen E.
Was originally on my way to Chipotle, but saw this place and decided to stop here instead. I'm very glad I did. Customer Service was warm and welcoming. Decided to try the Little Italy ($6.55). Waited only a handful of minutes. They used very fresh ingredients. Got my order to go. Asked me if I wanted the special house sauce on the side. I said yes. They put it in a little plastic container and I was on my way. Came home and opened up my sandwich. Delicious. Fresh. Seasoning just right. Bread was very good and crisp and toasted to how a panini should be. The special house sauce was also very good. I actually regret not using it on the first half of my sandwich. It's creamy, seasoned, and a nice touch to any sandwich on the menu. I would bring out-of-town family and friends here. Perfect place for a quick bite, carry-out on the way home, or to satisfy your panini craving.
(5)Nisha M.
Amazing service and food! Looked up a Philly cheese steam on yelp and this came up as a sponsored ad. I was surprised to see a place with almost 100 five stars! It deserves all of 'em. Update: I had ordered a lot of food to cover the delivery min. ( I think it's $20?). Anyway, had the chicken noodle soup for dinner and wish I had ordered the bowl! It's AMAZING. Best I've ever had.
(5)Iman W.
First thing that the guy said to me when I walked into Panini Republic is that this panini can be addictive, and that it'll be one of the best paninis I've ever had. Is that a challenge?!? I built my panini, picked my bread, then my sauce, then my meats, finally my veggies and cheese. As I watched it get transferred to the panini press, I also decided to order the "Greens" smoothie. Because this place is both new and new to me...had to go all out. He may have been right. This panini is delicious. Soft bread with a little crunch and of course, those fresh ingredients. But while we're on the subject of fresh, I have to give it up to the MVP, the smoothie. I've craving a smoothie since my closest Jamba Juice closed. But I must tell you, this isn't a smoothie of the sugar in a cup variety. The sweetness of the apple and pineapple is mellowed out by the various veggies, spinach, celery, parsley, cucumber, with a ginger kick. I watched them make the smoothie itself and it's about as fresh as fresh can get! All I can say is that I'm glad I didn't bet money. Because a girl could indeed get addicted to such a place.
(5)Kristen M.
Love this local panini shop. Great place to pickup a quick panini or salad. Their concept is simple and fresh. I'm giving this place 5 stars because it is very convenient, they have fresh ingredients, and the staff is very friendly. :)
(5)Krystal K.
I just discovered this place yesterday while roaming around the neighborhood and let me just say, their panini sandwiches are amazing. I would suggest getting the Little Italy or the Fresh Veggie panini with their house sauce!

I can't believe how lucky I am that this place is just around the corner from our new home! The food here is delicious and well-priced, and the service extremely friendly. My veggie sandwich was not only amazingly good - the best new meal I have had in I don't know how long - but less expensive than a boring veggie from Jimmy John's up the street. My husband does not eat warm sandwiches and they happily made him a made-to-order cold one, and then remembered his order when we came in the next day, with us coming in because I had to start trying the rest of the menu. The second sandwich - The Firehouse, I think it is called - was just as good. I am going to have a hard time making my way through the menu, wanting to repeat my experience with each of these sandwiches, but I will persevere.

Love this place! I moved into a building down the street the first weekend they were open. There are two brothers that own it and they remember me every time I come in. Food: I've had many variations on the paninis, smoothies and the lemonade. Everything is fresh, almost as if you made it at home. The atmosphere is Eco-chic with a modern flare. If your looking for a sandwich place, stop in here. It's turned into my go-to place. Friendly service, great food... What more can you ask for.

I've now tried every panini on the menu. This place is fantastic & the guys running it are genuinely good people. I am always more than happy to bring my money & my appetite here. Keep up the good work guys!

Went here for the first time the other night right before they closed. We ordered a panini and a salad. Little Italy panini with house sauce was really tasty. Salad was surprisingly fresh for that time of night. Would definitely come back. Service was also really nice and helpful.

This place is great. They are very fast and friendly and they have great bread. They give you a side of republic sauce with your sandwich and I don't know what it is buy it rules. They also have a large selection of salads that are fresh. Go buy a hoagie and support local businesses! This place is way better than the generic sandos you can get at Jimmy Jones or subway. Better bread, cheese and veggies. Give it a whirl!

Man I wish I only would of found this place sooner! I'm not always in the area so I didn't realize it was here at first . But I'll make the trip now Everything looked super fresh and hand cut/prepared. My friends and I got 3 different toasted subs and everyone was pleased. The owner was working when we came in and he talked to us and seemed really proud of the work he does!!! Try the El Cubano. So Good! Oh and fyi as a added bonus, this place is spotlessly clean.

Talk about an OMG Panini. Tried this place out for the first time last week and ordered the Chicago fire with the special sauce. Seriously don't really know whats all in it but the sauce is BOMB. Their salads look super delicious too, next time I'm going to try one out. Didn't want to write a review because I don't want anyone else to know about this secret lil gem. But I guess I'll share ;)

Visited when they first opened and it was a so-so experience. There were very limited options for panini toppings and no specialty sandwiches, but my panini was good. Went back a few months later and tried the Little Italy. Amazing! Such great customer service from the owner, he suggested their house sauce on the side and I loved it. Great price, great sandwich. Will be back!

I will be coming back again and again, thats for sure. 5 stars!

This place is great. The panini's are fantastic. The service is what turns this place into a normal lunch spot to hopefully what will be a main stay in this area. Whenever you go in, make sure to talk to the two owners/managers. They want to make you happy and are always listening for suggestions. Also - the next time you go make sure to ask for the special sauce they call 'Republic'. It's delicious!

I recently enjoyed a late night panini from this newly opened shop. I had the best time from the clean atmosphere to being able to see the fresh ingredients being put together to create my sandwich. I can say I will definitely be going back to keep trying some of their newest creations they are coming up with at this local joint.

Good sammies! Nice guys, fast service. When in Chicago again we will be back. The sandwiches are very filling for the price. I got the meat lovers panini which was really good!
