I'm the first to admit that I'm no Thai food expert, but stay away from the Panang Curry. The panang curry was SO SWEET. It tasted like they threw in a pound of sugar. I doubt I'll be going back, but if I do, I definitely won't be getting the Panang Curry.

Great little Thai place! I stopped in for lunch and had the Tom Yum soup and Postickers. Both were flavorful and tasty! Really hit the spot on a chilly day. The potstickers are pan fried, so not the healthiest choice, but so yummy. The price is right, people are friendly, decor is simple and cozy. Definitely give it a try!

This place just opened up by me and I had a craving for some thai take out and thought I'd try it out. It's a pretty small place, just a few tables. I got the spicy fried rice with chicken, it was just the perfect amount of spicy and it had a good amount of chicken in it. It came with a red sauce which I'm not sure exactly what it was, but that was pretty good as well. I wish there would have been a little more soy sauce in the dish itself, but besides that is was good! A huge portion that I'll get 2 meals out of with the low price of $8. Not sure I'd eat here in person but for take-out it's a good option!

Upon walking in the woman at the counter was very unfriendly and made no effort to welcome us. There is also an unfriendly sign at the counter where you order saying there will be no refunds for cooked food. Bizarre. My husband ordered beef and the lady said, "no beef." We should have just left, but we stayed and the pad Thai and Pad kee Mao with chicken were both pretty good. Definitely over-priced for the ambiance, service, and portion size and the food was not really memorable. This is a place I won't go back to simply because they aren't showing the effort or the love.

Came here after a show and when eating at a new Thai place I always go for one dish. The Pad Thai. I must say it was really good! Spicy, sour, and perfect. Also got a pot sticker app which was also good. From the outside this place may appear a tad sketchy but sometimes those are the best places to eat. Not much in the way of seating for eating there, but wasn't an issue when we stopped in. If I ever find myself in the area and have a hankering for Thai, I will be back!

Healthy & Delicious. Filling chicken red pineapple curry dish. The medium spice was a little too spicy for me but the plate was still tasty. I kept some water on hand to cool my mouth and a tissue for my nose. Some different veggies than what I have in other restaurant curry dishes but full of flavor.

The food is okay since I just popped in for a meal. However, I would not make plans to order from here or get takeout. The food is prepared very lazily. Christmas cargo has amazing Thai food pretty much anywhere so I was surprised.

We get carryout here all the time and I finally got around to writing a review. Great crispy spring rolls, and I always get the Panang curry, but this time I got the Jungle Noodles and had to write a review. The Thai iced tea is good too. Hostess makes me feel like I am at home, always takes care of me, remembers my name and asks me how things are going. Four thumbs up!!

My housemate and I got delivery. It was super late and super gross. This is not Thai Food. This is my mother pretending she knows what Thai food might be after trying to recreate a recipe from an old photo from a 1970s.

Finally something fresh, tasty, and worthy of keeping around the short drag between Barry and Briar. Everyone can make Pad Thai or Pad See Eiw, but few make 'em both addicting and light. Soups -- Tom Yum and Thai Rice -- were phenom too. Dont just do take out either! The place is adorable inside, perfect for a cozy date before a movie at the Landmark or a show at the Vic. If this place goes the way of Zad, I might have to riot. The one-two punch of Thaiday and Vegetarian Express is one not to duck from. Go. Play. Eat.

This is more of a 2.5 star review. Tried thaiday street cafe tonight. I wanted to support a new business when I know that I have delicious Andy's Thai kitchen within walking distance to my haus. My friend kris g. had one of their curries and said it was pretty good so I was willing to try it. I love massaman curry and was happy that their massaman didn't include weird items like pineapples or tomatoes that other places I've been to put in theirs. I subbed rice noodles for jasmine rice for $1 but when I got my entree there was no massaman sauce and the noodles hadn't soaked it up which I suspected because they weren't saturated with sauce. I ordered it medium spicy and it was a nice spicy level not too crazy. One other complaint I have is that there was not much chicken but plenty of noodles and vegetables. I also ordered fried dumplings but they weren't really what I was expecting. More like deep fried. Not pan fried. My friend kris g ordered the rice noodle veggie soup which she was happy with. She also likes that they have gluten free items and explicitly state what is in each item. They also have vegetarian and vegan options. They seem to be cautious about food prep which is nice to see especially when so many have food sensitivities.

Randomly chose this place on grubhub and was very happy I did. Delivery was very fast and the spicy panang curry with tofu was amazing. I will definitely be ordering from this place next time I am looking for great thai food!

I am no longer mixed on this place. I am done. The gf and I had a hankering for Thai, she offered to go get Thaiday, that was a 5 minute walk wasted. I got the Larb. It was noticeably smaller than last time. By like more than a third. It was even in a smaller container. What was there was bucked up by an overly thick layer of lettuce under an underly thick layer of chicken. The veggies looked like they were cut by a blind moose. And the sauce was all lime juice with no nuance whatsoever. My gf got the mixed veggies with chicken. It was more like veggie scraps with 5 lousy pieces of chicken in the whole thing. 5. 5 pieces of thin chicken. 5 stinkin' lousy lame pathetic pieces. Bland sauce. And a ratio of about 6 to 1 noodles to veggies/chicken. This meal was a debacle. The last time was mediocre but not bad enough to warrant updating my review. This time was. No more money for Thaiday from me.

We did take-out last weekend and while the fiance's tom kha soup was apparently quite good, my panang curry was watery and bland. They were ready with the order in 10 minutes, which should have almost made me nervous about how ready-to-go it was. The quantities weren't the largest we've had either.

it's a really small restaurant run by a thai couple. We ordered a thai beef salad, panang curry with shrimp, and pad thai. The beef is really tender and savory in the salad. The panang curry is the best. I love the coconut taste with the shrimp. The pad thai is pretty good too. Better than Big Bowl's with lower price. I would definitely come again since it's pretty close to my home.

Finally a decent little Thai place right near us. Just realized they moved in here a few months ago. Quick rundown: - Decent crispy spring rolls. Just a tad bit soggy in the middle for my liking but better than most places. - Very good fresh rolls. - We also had the Pad See Ew (they don't call it that here, can't remember what it's called on their menu). It was really good. - Thai iced tea was really tasty I'll probably come grab their lunch menu once a week.

Always see the same lovely faces working in here, they are always very grateful for our business. After spending some time in Thailand, coming back I was craving some authenticity and their Red Pineapple Curry was fantastic! The outside is deceiving; Its easy to overlook, but really worth a stop in. Quick and fresh every time!

Absolutely Delicious Thai food. Belmont area seems to have more Thai choices than any other asian denomination, even so, this is a select good option in the area. They have some delicious Pineapple fried rice and wonderful curries. My favorite is the Red chicken curry. Flavors are authentic especially the fresh coconut milk and vegetables in the curry. This place has been connected to my residential building and has never done me wrong! Nice people and service also

I really wanted to like this place, because this was my first Thai place since I moved to Lakeview, but unfortunately I can't recommend it. Here's why: 1) You can tell that they don't care about the quality of their food. I ordered the Pad Thai which on the menu says that it's a good choice, but the noodles are wayyy over cooked, and they are broken up, in a small plastic container (I ordered to go). There is barely anything else in the Pad Thai, and there is no peanut flavor or anything else, just overly cooked noodles that tasted like instant noodles. Even the pad thais that I had on my college campus is much better than this one. 2) Too much MSG!! After eating 1/3 of the pad thai and a Tom Ka soup, I was thirsty like crazy. I usually drink enough water and today was not a hot day, so I know that it came from the food. I just drank a bottle of water, ate 1/4 of watermelon, and it's 11pm and I'm still thirsty... not a good feeling. 3) Did I mention too much MSG was added?
