My 2nd favorite Starbucks in the Loop. Caroline (I think that's her name) is one of the best baristas in the city - and SUPER nice. I walk and extra 2 blocks many mornings just to visit this location.

I love coffee= I love Starbucks. I have friends who hate it... call it Starsucks. But for me, the cafe Americano is just what I need to kick start my day.Not awake until I have my 1st caffeine fix of the day. Also I would highly recommend their low fat breakfast sandwich, they toast it for you and give it to you warm. Yum.Be careful in the mornings a lot of the locations have a huge line...

They NEVER have any bagels.. Ever. I work in the building and whenever I want a bagel guess what? They don't have them.

Can this place get any better? I think not! Great staff, friendly faces all the time. Cozy, quaint, and calming...just what I need on a Sunday morning or Tuesday evening. Love this place!

Perfection! This location is the benchmark I compare to when visiting other Starbucks locations. It's a fairly small space but the staff manages the line (especially during the morning rush) extremely well. I have visited daily for the past 3 years and can think of maybe 2 mistakes ever made. The staff is friendly and they learned my name quickly. Very low staff turnover as well.

My favorite Starbucks, and not just because it's across the street from work! The staff is always so nice and there's always someone who has been there for a while... they seem to keep employees, which is always a perk as far as I'm concerned! I also think this is one of the locations that they try new baked goods at because I have, on several occasions, found stuff there that other Starbucks don't get for a few weeks after. The only problem I ever have is how long the line gets between 8:00 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., funny but by 9:00 a.m. it's nearly a ghost town in there.

I found this Starbucks, but thought it was a mirage, on a very early morning walking from Ogilvie Station to The Wit hotel. It is under a heavy, cement overhang from the floor above it, but for such a small Starbucks, they know what they are doing. The baristas are warm and quick. When I came back the next morning (and the morning after that) there was a seemingly long line, but they moved through customers confidently. The only drawback to this Starbucks are the frequent customers who are far to comfortable talking with the baristas who are obviously busy and just being polite with the small talk that the customers try to make too familiar. Customer to Barista Uncomfortable Exchange Example: "_____, how is your hand?!? I have been thinking about you. I wanted to bring you something..." If it happened with one customer, that would be easy to write off, but I heard several awkward moments in the limited time I spent there. Poor baristas. They power through, though. Keep it up, Little Starbucks. You are doing great.

Cozy little downtown place...I was able to catch up on some homework and get some coffee in my system as well while waiting to go to lunch with my wife. Friendly staff, clean interior, no complaints from this big boy!

Yes- it IS very small, but as others have mentioned. They are all about organization. Plus I find even the rare occasion when the line is more than 5 deep, goes very quickly.

Best Starbucks I've ever been to! I actually could go to 2 closer Starbucks but this one has gotten me hooked because of how great the people are. They remember your name pretty quickly and your drink, unless I just go there WAY too often, and they're always very nice and very cool to talk to. Great customer service, they even sang me Happy Birthday on my birthday, now that's a great group of people! I cannot recommend them enough and I should've made this months ago but in any case give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

This is my Starbucks. I park my car, walk about 10 steps, walk in the door and get my fix. The people who work here are absolutely WONDERFUL!! They know your order if you get the same thing each day (I do not) and start queuing it up the second they see you. They are all friendly, calm, have a sense of humor and are on target. The place really gets hopping around 8:15 or so. I avoid it like the plague then. Early? It is a calm oasis caffeinating you to deal with the day.

Best Starbucks in the Loop in terms of fast and efficient service. Extra star for serving the various dark roast brewed coffee throughout the day. Most Starbucks only offer Pike in the PM.

Definitely a great Starbucks. Even when the lines are long they move really quickly. Also, the staff makes a point of getting to know the regulars which I appreciate.
