Friendly staff and their green curry is to die for!! Their green curry is so good that I can't seem to force myself to try anything else on the menu.

Pad Thai is great, and the Cashew Chicken is my fav! Sometimes the chicken tastes better some times than others, though. Sometimes it tastes like reheated chicken (blegh!) and sometimes it tastes fresh. I usually cross my fingers and hope for the best. Otherwise I just put a little sriracha sauce and it's all fixed. haha! The staff is wonderful. The sweetest lady (owner?) usually waits on me when I'm there and she is very kind, friendly and attentive. Will continue going to Siam Treasure when I feel like Thai and don't want to drive too far.

Mom and pop Thai place with an ordinary, small seating area but friendly service and really good food. Good quality, fresh vegetables are apparent from their cucumber salad to their red curry. Portions are sized for a normal human being with a big appetite. Prices are good and the people friendly. I've been here several times and look forward to my next visit.

After years of living in the downtown area with multiple Thai restaurants within a mile of my home, moving back to the burbs made me realize how much I took great, fast Thai food for granted. I recently lucked out and found Siam Treasure where they serve excellent versions all of my favorite dishes. The Pad Se Eu is not to be missed. I recommend Siam Treasure for anyone looking for a great Thai meal in the Park Ridge/Niles area

Overall one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever visited! + Super sweet and attentive service! + Clean dishes, glasses and utensils + Decent lunch and dinner prices + Unique dessert options + Overall food quality was high + Clean atmosphere with casual environment + Asian hard candy with check, lychee! 22.44 + tip, for two full dishes (not lunch size), fried tofu appetizer and a Thai iced tea. Will definitely be back, and recommend whenever in the mood for a Thai food fix.

This place is hit or miss. The first time was a success, good food and made timely. My following order was 50 min late, no apology, bland and smaller portions. My third and final order was via Grub Hub. I liked ordering via Grub Hub cause at least I could see their full menu. One of the dishes had "ground beef" and I asked for sliced beef on that entree. They called right after the order was placed arguing who let me place an order like that. Excuse me? They said they never make exceptions and menu is as is. I said that the other times I ordered no one said anything, just made it. They said phone orders are not Grub Hub orders. Which means that since they have to pay % to Grub Hub, they skimp on your orders. And they do, the portions were half the normal small size. Also, in the winter they use gas outdoor heaters inside, you could get carbon monoxide poisoning sitting there the fumes were so intense.
(3)Charleen A.
The Thai iced tea tastes great except they fill the cup to the brim with ICE so you're basically paying ~$3 for ice with a little Thai tea.

I came across this place because I was in the area and it received pretty good reviews. Our food came out at different times and by the time I got mine, my boyfriend's dish was already cold. I originally ordered the papaya salad with shrimp. However, the waitress brought out the wrong dish and she seemed annoyed when I told her I had ordered something else. She immediately swept the dish off our table and threw it on an empty table. She came out a few minutes later and said that they can't make papaya salad with normal shrimp but could make it with baby shrimp. I decided to just order something else so I settled on the basil beef. All of our dishes were small and my friend had to order another entree because he was still hungry after his dish. Overall, the food was okay but the service was terrible.

I found myself running errands nearby after work and was starving by the time I was finished. Enter Siam Treasure. We called in our order, but the woman on the phone quickly thanked us and hung up before we could ask how long it would take. We kept shopping, and as we were driving to the restaurant, we got a call telling us our food was ready. Good service. Parking was fine - there's a small lot for the strip mall where Siam Treasure is located. Oh, and I didn't go in, so I can't comment on the ambiance, but there is a sign on the door that states this place is BYOB. As my husband was getting back in the car after getting the food, he mentioned a sign on the door said free eggrolls with a $20 purchase. Darn, we hadn't mentioned it, or known about it since we were first timers. When I got home, I saw the 4 eggrolls were in our bag. Extra star for them! We started with the crab rangoons. I have to say, they are up there with my favorites. Just the right amount of cream cheese and crab, plus they're more round shaped than triangle shaped, like usual. Way better to dip and cover in sweet and sour sauce. We then moved to the eggrolls, which were also different than a traditional eggroll. They were skinny and reminded me more of a fried spring roll than an eggroll. Still, good taste, and they were free! Moving on the the main dishes, I had the pad see ewe. It had a good amount of meat and broccoli in it, and the noodles were cooked just right. My sole criticism was that it lacked some spice. I didn't order it spicy or anything, so perhaps shame on me, but I do wish it packed a bit more in the flavor department. I did add some chili paste that came in a separate container and it added just what was missing. My husband ordered pad woon sen, and the dish was great. I loved the glass noodles, so delicate and small, but great taste. A good amount of veggies too. Prices were reasonable and in line with what you would expect. I think the rangoons were $4.50, the pad see ewe was $7.50, and the pad woon sen was $8. Again, FREE eggrolls! Man, I wish I lived a bit closer as getting up Harlem can be a pain during rush hour (prime dinner hour), but I will definitely be up for making the trek for the delicious food.
(5)Liza L.
We ordered from Grub Hub and tried this place for the first time. We loved it! The Garlic Chicken is amazing. It is pounded out thin and sautéed in a light sauce. The vegetables are done to perfection. The egg rolls are now a favorite in my home, they are smaller, crunchy and taste fresh. The Pad Thai was delicious, i do recommend asking for extra lime because by the time you get it delivered it is a bit dry. Adding the extra lime takes care of the issue. Will order again

I was in the mood for curry, and met a friend here. This was quite good. I got the mummon curry or whatever it's called. I know it started with an M. Wasn't very spicy, and was a decent portion. I even enjoyed the left overs :) My only complaint would be the kanam-Jeep. The onions or whatever is on top of them was dry, and crunchy. The dumpling like things were fine, but just that dry crunchy stuff took away front he moist, softness that I enjoy with that appetizer. Appetizer was served very close to our entree which I wish there was a bit of time between them. Better than them both taking forever, but that was something I like to see. No real complaints other than what I listed. Thai Iced Tea was made well. I asked if they could use coconut milk instead of their dairy creamer, and they said that don't do that. It was an expected response for me, but just a heads up for you dairy-sensitive folk.

My wife and I came late on a Friday evening, a few minutes before closing - yet they greeted us with smiles and never rushed us.. Food was excellent! I had the Pad Thai and the wife had the Thai Orange Chicken. Will definitely be coming back.
(5)Linh N.
Togo order: The crab papaya and pad kee mao was on pt! When i said spicy, they really made it nice and spicy. 4 instead of 5 star because the seafood tom yum was bland and didn't like the taste of imitation crab meat. Overall, the foods tasted great.
(4)Annmarie K.
Is it possible for a restaurant to get better? Yes! I'm in love with their curry dishes and all I've been able to eat for the past few weeks with bowel issues. Food is fresh. Veg are crunchy. People asre sweet.
(5)MC B.
Siam is one of our go to Thai restaurants. The owner is very nice and knows our order every time we come in (two orders of satay chicken with extra peanut sauce, two orders of cashew chicken, extra rice, and of course thai iced tea). Tried the basil chicken and wasn't too thrilled with it. We normally stick with our usual order but will hopefully try other selections in the future.
(4)Brianna K.
Siam Treasure Thai is one of the spots that I've been passing by for twenty years. I had no idea that it would be so delicious. A friend and I went for lunch a couple days ago, and the hostess needed to duck out for a couple seconds, but she assured us very cheerfully that she would return momentarily. I are the pad see eiu which is similar to pad Thai but has fat noodles. And it was so satisfying. The feel of the place is friendly and welcoming and the food is perfect. A fantastic hole in the wall that in would love to visit again!
(5)Christina M.
Great little Thai place on the Northwest side of Chicago. It is on Harlem and Touhy in a little strip mall. I have been trying to find a good thai place for some time now after our favorite one closed after 20 yrs and have been disappointed by many. This place is wonderful. Great food, authentic, consistant and yummy. They have the best Nom Tuk, ask for the one with sirlon steak, it is not on the meau but worth the extra charge. The owners can be alittle hyper but it is worth it. BYOB which makes it even better. Don't miss this place.
(5)Samantha G.
Strictly Thai. No sushi here. But the way they do what they do, makes my taste buds sing & dance and forget the maki. Spicy basil entrees, Tom Yum soup, egg rolls, cucumber salad, crazy noodles & more...DELICIOUS! Siam Treasure makes the best Thai food I have ever had in Chicago! I am never disappointed. No attitudes here. The owners & staff are friendly and the service is fantastic. Prices are on point. Newly redecorated. There's no good reason why you shouldn't try this spot. Stop reading and go satisfy that Thai craving!
(5)Kaeley K.
Went here last night with a few of my girlfriends for a girls night and had a wonderful experience. Easy to find. Right on the corner of Harlem & Touhy in the same parking lot as the Dunkin Donuts. It's a nice size restaurant and is decorated very sleek and modern. Very clean. We were the only table dining in for the evening but they seemed to be very busy with deliveries & very popular with carryout orders. Prices are great & they offer lunch specials. It is a BYOB and they do not charge a corking fee which is great! They supply glasses & bottle openers. The server we had was very sweet and accommodating with all of our requests and offered several suggestions on the menu to help us decide what to order. The food was fantastic! We shared everything to try different things. We tried a curry dish with noodles as an appetizer which was delicious and full of flavor and had fresh basil in it. It had large pieces of jalapeño peppers which were pretty easy to navigate around if you don't like dishes that are too spicy, but still had a little kick to it. The girls also tried the Golden Boat which are fried crab wontons and they loved it. I had the Tom Kha soup with tofu to start and I am now obsessed with it. Lots of flavor and a little heat. Perfect soup if you're feeling a little under the weather and any other time really. Definitely recommend trying it! We had the Crazy Chicken for a main course with ground chicken. Loved the sauce, it was loaded with veggies & noodles and it also had several pieces of jalapeño peppers to navigate around. Even without eating the jalapeños, everybody's mouths were on fire! That dish packed a punch. If you like super spicy, then this is the dish for you. We also had Pad Tai with chicken for our other main course which we all enjoyed. It had a great sauce & was dusted with finely ground peanuts on top. I think that was our only choice that wasn't spicy haha! Overall, fun place to go with friends, byob, many menu options & good location.

The food at this storefront restaurant is wonderful. Just don't expect to have a leisurely dinner. Your food is served quickly and then you are rushed out of the restaurant. My daughter was in the middle of telling a story and the server came up and asked her if she was done eating. This might be understandable if she was the last one to finish, but we were all still eating.
(4)Real D.
Have had one meal here this year and decided to have dinner recently. Take care parents whose children live with food allergies or anyone allergic. When our party inquired about ingredients, the waitress refused to check with the kitchen for an allergic ingredient. We got up to leave and the waitress continued her diatribe about how there is no food packaging available to check for ingredients even as we were already out the door. Utter nonsense. When front house staff is allowed to be rude and ignorant regarding allergies, it's reasonable to assume that the back house is similarly afflicted. Beware.

LOVE the crab boats and mongolian beef! Husband and I are addicted to their version of crab rangoons and mongolian beef! Note: when you ask for spicy, they give you SPICY! I love spicy food, but they can be a tad heavy handed with the spice. Its so good though, that I often suffer my way through my meal, but its worth every bite. I would recommend take out as the food portion seems to be bigger and the food stays hot for a very long time.
(5)Dada A.
These folks are batting 3 for 3 for me. They deliver to my place in Rosemont (pretty far from their location). The food comes piping hot, perfectly spicy and loaded with everything they advertise. The delivery gal is funny and pleasant, and she's always ahead of schedule. Will be ordering more regularly now that they've passed my stringent test of quality, service and price. 5 stars isn't enough.
(5)Valerie R.
The food here is consistantly good. I'm lucky enough to live close by so when I do want thai food, I know I won't be disappointed! There is another thai place near me in Park Ridge, their prices are amuch higher but the quality is half as good as Siam Treasure. They are also BYOB, which is especially nice in this economy. Great prices, great food, great place!
(5)Tate B.
When we moved from the West Loop area to our first home in Jefferson Park we had so many bad delivery experiences. Once we started to narrow down our top places for Italian, Chinese, Pizza, Ribs, etc., Siam Treasure sits at the top of our list for thai in the area. I give 4 stars based upon the thai standards in this area. By Chicago standards it's a 3 star. The food is very consistent. It's not by any means the best thai in Chicago, but for Jefferson Park it's as good as we've found. Food is always hot and delivered within 30-45 minutes. The same lady delivers every time and is always joking and smiling when she drops off the food. The beef thai fried rice is on point. Always cooked well. The yellow curry is pretty addicting as well. They send a hilariously small size rice with the curry dishes so make sure you order an extra. The pad thai is usually cooked well, but needs an extra kick of soy and sriracha to make it more palatable.
(4)maggie s.
I love love love the pad woon sen and the golden boat! Always good food!
(5)Mary May S.
I LOVE this restaurant!!! I don't think I can add any more than what was already said.
(5)Amber K.
They said our take out order would take 15 minutes. 45 minutes later we pulled away very annoyed. They only had one server on a Saturday night. The food was good but the service stunk. Call ahead and pick up your order. Don't wait for it.
(2)Craig S.
Very good food for very reasonable prices. My wife and I used to live in Lakeview amongst an Asian restaurant mecca on Broadway and have been looking for better Thai food in the Park Ridge area. The portions could have been a little bigger but for $7.00 I'm not really going to complain. If you order online your first time you save 10%, and then eventually get a small reward after so many orders.
(4)Jeremiah P.
Great local Thai. My wife and I have gotten delivery from here at least 50 times. Always good, nice people, good amount of food and amazing Pad See Ew with Beef!
(4)Justin G.
While the food tasted good, between my friends and I, we ordered a red curry dish, a panang curry dish, and a tom kha soup. Everything looked and tasted exactly the same. Yes, even the soup.
(3)Casia J.
Used to be a favorite, what has happened? We used to love this place and drive a fair distance (from Evanston) to eat dinner there. Anything they make with red curry is outstanding! Good prices, nice people, clean. Lately, aye aye aye. MEAN, younger girl seems to be running the show. I don't know if it's new ownership, or owners are away, but we saw this person 3x in about 2 months and aren't going back. The last time we were there, we entered around 8:20-8:30 and they were closing at 9:00. We were almost finished, and had felt rushed all along around 8:40-8:45, and she turned off the lights! It was us, and one other table. Lights out! I kid you not. Not the window lights, or the open sign turned off, but overhead lighting. It was like she was going to come over to tell a ghost story! All but 1-2 sections of lights--just enough to tally the credit card receipt. So rude it was hilarious! Sad though...we used to love it.
(2)Nora F.
Edible, but the pad kee mao had jalapenos in it instead of Thai hots. Not kidding. I wish this place were better, or that I'd eaten the seemingly great meals others have reviewed about, because I crave Thai food about once a week -- but mine was barely passable.
(2)Ted H.
Excellent food. Delivery is the best, lightning fast. Quality is consistent.
(5)Jill K.
I'm eating my delivery order right now as I type, so you're gonna get the play-by-play, here. (I should be typing my expense report, but this is much more fun.) 1) Som Tom (green papaya salad): This is awesome. Very fresh, crunchy, spicy! (Beware the chilis that look like bits of tomato.) Nice heat, but wonderfully balanced "yum" sweet, too. Nicely, nicely done! 8.5 out of 10! 2) Fresh Spring Rolls: Nice, non-fried tofu/veggie rolls, served with a syrupy plum dipping sauce. Pretty standard, but good. Even without the plum sauce, they have a hint of sweetness inside them (just like your mom). I'd get 'em again. 7 out of 10. 3) Chicken satay: I forgot to order peanut sauce (or did they forget to put it in the bag?) but these skewers are so wonderfully marinaded that I don't miss it. Honest! 8 out of 10. 4) Naem Sod: Sweet lordy, this is wonderful. Very, very flavorful! It's a very "bright" dish (in flavor, not color). Ground chicken (verrrry finely ground, but beware the occasional gristle), a teeny bit of red onion, lots of cilantro on top (you can eat around it if you're not a huge cilantro fan), peanuts, and a terrific amount of freshly-julienned ginger root. There's a tiny bit of lime in there, too. I am a happy, happy girl. 9 out of 10. 5) Beef salad: Meh. Not tremendously interesting, and the beef slices are a little... I dunno... school-cafeteria-like. It's not bad. But I wouldn't get it again. The veggies in there are fresh and crisp, though. 3 out of 10. 6) Tom kha gai: I give it a 7 out of 10. Decent, sweet/sour balanced broth; not very thick. It's missing something, but I can't put my finger on it. It's got tons of mushrooms, a decent amount of good chicken, some kaffir lime leaves, and... that's about it. No other veggies, no galangal chunks. Interesting factoid: Of all the dishes I sampled tonight, lemongrass was conspicuously absent. Seriously. I didn't find a single morsel of the stuff. Maybe that's what the beef salad and the tom kha gai were lacking. Anyhoo, these folks delivered to my hotel (yay!), and their delivery guy was very sweet (yay yay!). [NB: Lest you think me a glutton, please note that I tend to order a huge dinner and then eat it for lunch and dinner the next day.]
(4)John W.
Good place, flavorful...decent portions but a little skimpy on the rice. Friendly women running the place
(4)Brendan B.
After moving to the neighborhood a few months ago, I was happy to see that I was less than 2 blocks from this Thai place after having eaten myself half to death with greek food and burgers while my kitchen was being gutted. Absolutely loved the Chicken Pad Thai. Dabbled around with a few other dishes, but am constantly drawn back for the Pad Thai even now that my kitchen is fully functional. Have yet to eat in the restaurant itself, but have done a few pick-ups and the decor seems nice, although the place is pretty small. It is hardly ever close to full, though, so the small size seems more than adequate.
(4)King K.
I live down the road from here and stopped going years ago. The food is mediocre and the portions are quite petite. We've been going to Thong Thai and the food is much tastier.
(2)Bella D.
Small nice thai restaurant in my area : ) Nice appetizers and always love my Pad Thai and Pad See Eiw with Beef. Nice staff and quick service. Glad to have some good food in my new hood!!
(4)A F.
Just really good Thai food. It ain't fancy but its some toothsome stuff. The yellow curry is perfectly nuanced and balanced. The pad tai is superb. They deliver, and I've never waited longer than 30 minutes and that includes 10 minutes of drive time. Big fan. Huge.
(5)Chris O.
Tom Yum Soup -- Pretty good but could have been spicier for my tastes. (However, I later read that you can ask them to increase the spiciness of any dish.) Ground beef with basil and spices dish (forgot the actual name) -- I thought it tasted great. A lot of flavor in the dish. Tasted pretty close to authentic, and I've had the real thing in Thailand. Prices seemed just a tad higher than they should be for the serving sizes. They offer delivery.
(4)Shannon Z.
Best pad Thai I have ever had. And they deliver!
(5)Cymon A.
This is definitely the best Thai place around!!!!! We used to live nearby, and order/dine in often, and now, when we live in Elk Grove, we tested all places around, including Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Palatine, and....this place is still our favorite of all!!!! Service is great, I'm always welcomed with hug and warm greeting, prices are very, very reasonable, and the food....is HEAVEN!!!!! Our usual and favorites are: beef noodle soup-awesome, with juicy steak pieces and meatballs, cilantro, and this wonderful citrusy, beefy, thai flavor....duck red curry-the best of all!!!!, panang curry with crispy wide rice noodles, crazy noodles- super spicy, and great after intense partying the night before...;-) then there is Tom Kha soup- coconutty awesomeness with perfect balance of all the flavors,....Tom Yup- yuuuumyyyy!!!!!!!!!, garlic chicken, green curry, Satay chicken, etc...etc...etc....everything is great!!!!Yesterday we went there with 2 couples of our friends, and they all love it as well!!!!! Some people I talked to in the past complain about the ambiance, but I....I think the staff with their great attitude and service plus wonderful food make you feel like home...and I don't care if it's in the strip mall and it's cozy, not fancy-like ... To me it's the best Thai place ever and I am their forever customer!!!
(5)Sarah F.
Good food, reasonable prices, and fast service make this place a nice place to eat. It isn't vastly different from most of the other Thai restaurants in our area, but there are well priced lunch specials.
(4)Katie B.
Saw great reviews on yelp, so figured we would give it a try. We've ordered take out 3 times and love it!! The Pad Thai, Tom Yum & Tom Kha are the best we've ever had and the service was very friendly.
(5)John F.
Attractive storefront with nice Thai decorations and pretty tablecloths. Food is a bit less spicy than some others. Dishes are generally tasty, with medium sized portions and reasonable prices. Tom Kha Khai soup was not quite up to other places we've had it. Pad Khee Mao had very nice wide noodles. Penang curry was quite good, but could have used a bit more meat. Chicken with basil leaves was a winner. Pleasant and friendly service.
(4)Sea J.
Love this place. Their food is quite delicious especially the shrimp panang curry, which you can get with rice or fried rice noodles and the beef pad thai. Great appetizers. Not a big place so there can be a wait if crowded. The service is good and the servers are friendly. They do offer delivery. You can BYOB
(4)allison k.
I'll be honest...I never would have tried this place, but the reviews online were all really good. And, rightfully so, this is a great Thai restaurant. The recommendations for the Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, and the egg rolls with the tiny noodles inside, were absolutely true. All were so good. Try it...I think that you will be pleasantly surprised.
(5)michele b.
pad thai was bland and not fresh tasting. my husband said his panang curry was "alright". the crab roll was a fried mess (and I like fried foods so that's saying something). this mediocre food was a huge disappointment after an almost two hour wait.
(2)Bill A.
Good call on the reviews. This is an unassuming restaurant in a strip center. Without the reviews I no doubt drive right by. I'm very happy I stopped in as the Panang Curry was as good as any I have had. My coworkers Pad Thai was also excellent. The server couldn't have been more pleasant. I will be back on my next visit to Chicago.
(5)Destiny R.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Their red curry is so amazing, & I find myself so disappointed with other restaurants' red curries. I love this place though. Glad I found it. Highly recommend this place! Their chive dumplings are amazing as well (;
(5)Kelley S.
Tried this last night after hubby wanted Thai and I wasn't game for the one closest to our house. This turned out to be an alright alternative although somethings i wouldn't necessarily order again. We ordered the egg rolls and spring rolls. I guess I was expecting spring rolls in that clearish rice paper or whatever it's made out of, these were in a white wrapping that looked exactly the same as the egg roll except not fried. It was alright, the sauce was good. Same with the egg rolls, they were okay and the sauce was good. I wills ay that both of these were very inexpensive. We ordered the chicken pad thai, the green curry and the crazy noodles with tofu. The pad thai was tasty. I wouldn't say the chicken was moist, but it was pretty good. The green curry was quite spicy, which was excellent. There wasn't a whole lot of veggies or meat in it, it almost seemed like a soup instead of an entree, but good flavor. The crazy noodles I ordered with tofu. Much to my surprise and disappointment the tofu in it was fried (yuck). The description states it has ground meats in it. I don't think it did. I really didn't see any. There were lots of fresh veggies in it, which was good. And they weren't over-cooked, most were still somewhat crunchy, also good. There wasn't much sauce and all the noodles were stuck together which made it hard to eat. Overall I thought the flavor was decent, but I would no order this again and although I love tofu I would not order tofu from here again now that i know it is fried. We got this as take-out and ordered online so I don't have any comments about the service, interior or location. I think we will order from here again, only because hubby occasionally wants Thai and this is better than the one near us. However left to my own devices I probably wouldn't go back.
(3)Jennifer P.
All I have had is the pad thai... But so far so good!!! They are very nice and the food is great. Love the spicy sauce. BUT... If you are looking for a quick to go order during a lunch break, give them at LEAST an extra five minutes or you will be waiting for your food.
(4)Ryan H.
I had the green curry, which was enjoyable but certainly not the best I've had. The spring rolls were interesting, unlike the spring rolls I've had before, which were mostly at Vietnamese restaurants. The server was nice. Prices were reasonable.
(3)Netta S.
I'm amazed. I keep intending to photograph the food and write more on my next delicious dish here , but I finish eating them before I get a chance. Last order was panang noodles with duck. Slightly exotic, savory with a hint of sweetness, al dente fat noodles, island scent , tender chewy bit -- then damn it's gone! Shoot I'd say more , might even share if you were here- but I can't and I didn't - can only say it sure was good!!
(5)Gregory S.
This place is awesome! We went there and had the spring rolls, which had a delicious sweet sauce, then ordered the Pad Thai, and the Red Curry. It was probably the best Thai food that I have ever eaten. We even ordered 2 orders of Pad Thai to go.
(5)Lulu R.
Cozy little place cookin' up delicious Thai food. As we all know, I like the Thai food. We got the staples: 1. Pad thai- not over loaded with crap like some thai places do. they do it right. 2. Pad Sie Eiw- The noodle were a little too broken up for my liking but I cant hate because it was delicious. If the integrity of the noodle held up, this would have gotten five stars from me. 3. Fried Potstickers- Awww snap. and snap they did. Golden fried pot stickers with meat and a dipping sauce. I recommend you try this. My boyfriend wasn't a fan of the eggrolls but I though they were good. This is a BYOB restaurant so don't forget your Vino! They deliver. They are a friendly staff who cook up the food fast. Our new go-to Thai place. HELLO siam treasure!
(4)Cathryn W.
Have been eating from here for probably the last 6 or 7 years if not longer. I have never been disappointed with an order. Staff is very nice and if I call in an order to pick up it's usually ready in 15 minutes. This is my go to Thai place. I love the golden boat and egg roll appetizers. The cucumber salad is delicious and refreshing. Any main course item is great too, just depends on what you are in the mood for. Their broccoli beef is tasty because it has some ginger added to it. I highly recommend Siam Treasure.
(5)Rita C.
The prices here are actually more expensive than Lai Thai in Morton Grove, and the portions seem smaller as well. However, I love the Panang curry noodles from here the most. I'm not sure if this will be my go-to Thai restaurant, but I'll probably be back occasionally.

I love this place. I've been coming here for maybe 15 years. You gotta get the egg rolls. They are fresh and yummy. My meal of choice: start with some chicken satay, and then get the pad see eiw with beef AND tofu. Munch on egg rolls with some sweet and sour sauce and you are in Thai heaven. This place is a Siam treasure :) plus the ladies (family) who work there never forget you.

Popped in the other afternoon with a couple Yelpers that love to sample. It was just after Noon and it was dead. I haven't ever thought to hit any of these strip mall shops mainly due to the fact that parking is hard to come by. I assume because of the nail shop and Dunkin Donuts. We got an appetizer platter and a few of the offerings were pretty good. Their version of Crab Rangoon is called a Golden boat. Small circular puffs with just enough cream and subtly sweet. One of the group liked them a lot, so we got an order. The shrimp blanket, a shrimp stretched straight and fried in a blanket of spring roll. I don't know, it's just a filler item. The egg rolls were spring rolls with noodles inside. Fried shumai and potstickers were pretty good. Ordered a few entrees as well, like the Crazy noodles with beef and pork, Crab rolls, Chili curry with pork and chicken and Seafood tom yum noodle soup. A lot of food for three people but we had a good time tasting and enjoying the time. With their curries, different types of rice are offered but arrives in the tiniest bowl, so I found myself ordering again and again. The entrees ordered were good with exception of the Tom Yum soup. Something about the broth and noodles, it just didn't mesh for me. The crab rolls are more of an acquired taste. If you like dipping and fried items, just go for it. A spring roll wrapper stuffed with crab meats, shrimp & Thai spices. It's not costly but with frying it's hard to get the taste of the spices and seafood meats. Service was good. One lady with a wrist tattoo, covered all tables. I only mention the detail because she never shared her name. We were never lacking or waiting and wondering. She was warm and welcoming. Appetizers and entrees came out in a fair amount of time which added to a good visit. My only complaint would be residue on the tables. It was sticky to the touch. Ugh. Sticky tables often mean details forgotten, I hope they see this and steam clean or clean them properly.

First of all, I tried placing my order online, twice, with no success. I then phoned in my order and was told "they only have one line" (?) and that contributed to the difficulty in ordering. Whatever. The woman offered an order of free egg rolls as an apology, but I guess you "get them anyway." Once again, whatever. She was pleasant so that's why they get one star. Mainly, the food was terrible. Egg rolls, tasteless and greasy. Pad thai, bland, greasy and served with a lemon not a lime. Big pet peeve. Shrimp red curry, heavy on the coconut milk and not much else. Crazy noodle with chicken, REALLY greasy. Chicken satay, tough and tasted steamed rather than grilled with a thick, boring peanut sauce. Blech. Do not waste your money at this restaurant.

This place was worth the traffic from the airport. Food was fresh, intensely flavored and plesantly presented in a rustic Thai kind of way. And the server was very very nice.

Not sure how the food tasted; the service was so rude that I left without my take-out order. We called in the order, arrived when we were told, but had to wait about 10 more minutes. No big deal to wait, but during those few minutes both the older and younger ladies wasted no time ignoring my questions and arguing back when I explained I was just a first-time customer who lived nearby and wanted to know basic information like delivery area and fee. Who turns and walks away when a customer is speaking to you? Who yells at their customers and then in the same breath boasts about being in the restaurant business for 13 years? If you don't mind arrogant, unhelpful service, I'm sure it's fine. I choose to spend my money elsewhere. Plenty of options down the street in Park Ridge! By the way, their interior leaves much to be desired. If the other three and four star reviews have your interest piqued still, go with carry-out and enjoy your meal at home in peace away from the crazy ladies.

I used to eat at Siam Noodle and Rice in uptown, but after eating here, I'm not going back. I recently had some pad Thai at Siam Noodle and Rice and that place really fell off. The pad Thai and coconut soup is amazing. Most Thai places, including Siam Noodle and Rice, smother their pad Thai in a thick, heavy tasting sauce. The pad Thai here is cooked properly and that is what keeps me coming back.

Love this place for Thai food, especially the crab rangoon, which has a light "breading". I have gotten good food consistently. Ordering online is easy too.

I have visited this restaurant a few times and am now making it my go to thai spot. I really like their panang chicken and I LOVE their chive dimplings as well. It's located in a small strip mall off of Harlem and Touhy, but don't let that discourage you. The food is very fresh and tasty. It is a very small place, but it is cutely decorated and makes you feel comfortable. As far as service goes, I have found the service to be attentive every time that I have visited. The only gripe that I have is that I wish the portions were a little larger for the price. Other than that, great food, so I will be returning again!

A Treasure indeed...best Panang curry Noodles ever. After hunting around a bit, this has been our go-to Thai place for over 5 years. The curries are well seasoned and good. The Pad Ka Prow is spicy deliciousness and the Pad Khee Mao is consistently tasty. The owners seem to always be there, one serving the tables and the other making deliveries. They just remodeled the place, and kept the prices the same; my compliments on both counts! BYOB

Whether it be juicy pieces of grilled pork on a stick or a fiery bowl of 'Tom Yum' soup or Chicken, Pork or Shrimp Pad Thai, you cannot go wrong with whatever you decide to order at Siam Treasure. The food was fairly flavorful. We enjoyed everything including the service. If you want to get out of your comfort zone, you may want to try something with coconut or peanut sauce. Try the mini spring rolls, for starters, which is served with a delectable plum sauce. The sauce alone deserves 5 stars! Service is efficient, but not overly attentive. Water glasses were filled when needed. This is a very casual, small and cozy restaurant sharing space in a teeny-tiny strip mall. Parking can be a bit challenging since the parking lot is super small. Park in front of the UPS store or the eye doctor's office if you want easy "in and out" of the parking lot. We stopped here on the way to a "game" night at a friend's house. Our friends live in Glenview, and usually serve appetizers during game night. We thought we would grab dinner here first. We always enjoy Thai food, and have hit up several excellent Thai restaurants in the heart of the city. We were impressed with how good the food was here. It exhibits a profusion of exotic flavors and fragrances making it among the most coveted of international cuisines. Four main seasonings used in Thai food involve salty, sweet, sour, and spicy (as well as the use of lime juice or fresh limes). Basil, lemongrass, and galangal (Thai ginger) are also used here combining cooking influences from Indonesia, Laos, Burma, and Malaysia. These flavors and fragrances are seemingly inexhaustible. This restaurant is GOOD for those who don't want to break their budget and want freshly prepared Thai food with quality ingredients. (A side note -- 11-22-2013): We really like the Thai food here, so we ordered "carry out" on Friday. Our food was ready when I walked in the door to pick it up. Not a problem. Our order was correct. The food arrived at our house still hot. It was a great way to unwind from a long stressful week. We enjoyed all the fresh ingredients and delectable flavors. The portions are generous (I couldn't finish my Chicken Pad Thai). They were very busy. It was obvious that they do a large volume of carry out especially on Friday. I didn't experience any rudeness here. In fact, the lady was pleasant and friendly. My experience was positive. This is a "mom and pop" family business operation. They are super busy with "take out" orders especially on Friday and Saturday evenings. Also, this is not a restaurant where you go for the decor. It is casual, small and cozy. If you want ambiance (a great decor) and excellent Thai food then go to the "Star of Siam" in the Loop.

We go to Siam Treasure at least once every other week. Lunch specials are a great deal and the food is always awesome! The ladies that work there are always friendly and remember us all by name. They always get us in and out quickly knowing we drive 15 mins each way on our one hour lunch! Highly recommend!

cute store located in a little strip mall on Touhy and Harlem.. took a chance and ordered there and have been a fan ever since. Staff is very friendly and food is EXCELLENT! Have tried their Chicken Pad Thai and also their Beef Pad See Eiw off their lunch special and both are great and for a little less than $7, you get a huge serving along with dumplings and a little cute side salad. Definitely worth trying! Inexpensive for the most part, great food, and most importantly, great service.

My family and I have been going here for 7 years. They are also great with kids and recently renovated the place. What lovely people too. They have carry out as well as delivery!!!

Very friendly and great food. We love their Tiger Cry.

I realllllly love this place! The Golden boats are addictive, and they have some of the best curry I've tried. The food is also very reasonably priced. FYI -If you order online you get a discount.

Solid Thai food. The Panang curry was tasty and a good consistency, not too soupy and not too thick. The portion was very small, though. Much smaller than the sizes I get in NYC (c'mon Chicagoland). I also had the spring rolls aka typical summer rolls, which were pretty pathetic. They tasted and looked like they were wrapped in a pancake, not rice paper or whatever summer rolls are wrapped with. They DID deliver to the hotel I'm staying at by O'Hare. Which is a definite plus. But it did cost an extra $5. Which is definitely worth it when you're not in the mood for pizza or a steak house.

This is a small storefront restaurant in a little strip mall. It's nicely decorated with Thai memorabilia and is better and more pleasant than you'd expect in a location like this. The staff has always been friendly and attentive each of the half dozen or more times I've eaten here. They have a full menu of the usual Thai curries and other standards, executed well. It's relatively inexpensive, they take plastic or folding green.

Decent food. Located in a small strip mall and sort of hidden. Went there for dinner a couple weeks ago. We were seated immediately. The place was very clean but small. The staff was very friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes from curried chicken to pad thai. The Thai red tea was fabulous. Everyone liked their food. The portions were very generous. The food came out quickly. There were 6 of us and the waitress was more than happy to accommodate us and provide separate checks. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area. They have a large menu with many tasty options.

Found this little gem just by searching Thai places near my work that delivered and oh man is it good. The lunch specials are a considerate portion, and come with cucumber salad and a couple pot stickers. As an added appetizer, got Crab Rangoons aka "Golden Boats" that were really good. Panang Curry and Pad Thai were very tasty.

They deliver to me in Jefferson Park which is pretty far from their location. This is MY neighborhood Thai place... The garlic chicken is off the fucking hook! Fried Tofu is always tasty! Who can forget Pad Thai, yum diddly doo! So, when I'm at home and I want Thai food in a 2 foot snow storm, I know I can count on them to bring it to me... Side note: I have no clue why I write these damn reviews before lunch, I'm starving and want Siam Treasure now! DAMN!

Overall it was some pretty good food. Their Pad Thai is standard; it could use more spice, but i blame myself for being a stupid baby and asking for it mild. They also use fresh ingredients which is a big plus, and they're super cheap! If you love Crab Rangoon get their Golden Boats. They're little, yellow, different (in a good way).

Had to update and ADD a star...happier than ever before they are so close to my home. We've taken advantage a couple of times this past month (too hot to cook) for their carry-out and tried a couple of items, that we have not tried before. Their Tom-Yum soup is delicious...if you like spice, tell them...so good! And my newest favorite Spicy Shrimp Pad Thai...large shrimp cooked to perfection and perfectly "zippy" Note: when you spend over $25 for a carry-out order, you get four free egg-rolls...which are delish!

My first order with Siam Treasure would have only garnered them a 2-star review; however, tonight was almost stellar, so I awarded an extra one. Almost stellar because I ordered my love's Lad Nar with crispy noodles and it arrived with the standard wide rice. He isn't quite like me and won't complain, though. We also ordered crab rangoon, deliciously crispy wonton skin, but lacking crab in the center. (aren't they usually?) The chicken satay was decent but the peanut dipping sauce made it A-OK. I went with Pad Ka Prow, ground chicken with basil and peppers, something different for me because I don't like the way they cook Pad Woon Sen (my regular). It was the best thing of the evening. The staff are nice and super quick. Am really happy they didn't laugh in my face when I asked for delivery, even though I live 1/2 mile away. (damn this rain).

I've eaten pad thai at a million different places and this is by far my favorite place for pad thai. The chicken in the pad thai is always very moist and the sauce is perfect. Beef pad thai is not bad either. Hmmm, I wonder how their other dishes are?

A new favorite! I had the Pad See Ew w/ chicken lunch special, very tasty! It also came with a ginger chicken soup which was good. My friend had the Panang Curry w/ chicken. It was a unique taste but spicy. The coconut milk was pretty overwhelming. Not sure if i'd order that again. The service was on point. The food came out hot and fast.
