Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This Panda Express chain has really friendly staff. I always enjoy coming here to get quick lunches or dinners. If you do not like old food or what you see, you can always request them to fresh wok whatever you want to eat. I love doing this especially at end of day when there is day-old food left. I would recommend this Panda Express for a quick easy meal. Some of my favorites include orange chicken, kungpao chicken, vegetable egg rolls, country tofu, and almond shrimps. Try them!

Came here for lunch because it is in the building next door. It's a little bit difficult to find. It's your typical panda. They give you a ton of food, quickly, but I didn't think it was that warm and fresh. They are also trying some new rice side because eggs are really expensive right now. I didn't like it as much but it wasn't horrible.

Quick service, especially during lunch rush. The food- let's just say check nutrition before you eat here often. But if you work in Two Pru, its super convenient and they do togo. Prices are affordable for lunch as well. If you're dining in, the drink sizes are normal. If you're taking togo, they give you the next largest drink size for free, which is really nice since you won't be around to get refills. They always ask if you want an egg roll and sometimes its hard to understand what they're asking, so be sure to say no if you don't know what they asked you!

Seriously people what do you want out of a food court kind Chinese lunch joint. This ain't serving you no peking duck I always expect the meat to taste like cardboard.. The beef kinda did but the chicken was pretty good. Overall much better than my expectations and yeah clean spot. Didn't smell like nasty old food

My fellow Panda Yelpers dissed this place with fewer stars than an American Idol episode, but I'd like to know why? This location is super clean, brightly lit, always friendly, busy and free of homeless people wandering around (yes, San Francisco Panda Express, this implies you). This location isn't open late (Pru 1 & 2 empty out by 6pm), and you'd be pushing it to find anything edible 15 minutes before closing time. But...if you call ahead, they'll take custom orders ready for pickup within 15 minutes. I discovered a great thing few years ago: this location staffs wonderful people; Lili is one of the friendliest people I've ever discovered in a fast food restaurant anywhere. She is one reason this location rocks. Yelpers, this is sufficient fast food Chinese, not The Imperial Dragon with a royal warrant from Her Majesty. Remember that as you're reviewing, and please cut Panda Express some slack. It could be worse (yes Seafood 65, this definitely implies you).

One of the fine things about being an adult is knowing what one wants and seeking it out. Having been an adult for a couple of decades now, I am now quite adept at not only knowing what I want to eat but also having the full capacity to order it. Gone are the middling days of scanning a menu or presented entrees for a minute or two or wondering if I'm ordering something I might like or might dislike. So why the folks at Panda Express, after I order a double Sweet Fire Chicken Breast with fried rice and that's all, thank you, insist on asking me if I want a pot sticker, or an eggroll, or a medium drink is very irritating. Sure, it might be their gig to push the merchandise, but when a customer makes it clear what he or she wants (and that's all, thank you), that customer doesn't really want to fill out a verbal questionairre about what else he or she doesn't want. The good news is, because Panda Express is standard fast-food anyway, the staff's continual questions increasingly help me stay away from there, save for very rare occasions - and then only because it's the closest thing around. The prices are tolerable and the place is relatively clean, and I give them one star apiece.

Like one reviewer said, this place is clean and brightly lit, but this a restaurant not a lightbulb store. At what point did being able to see and not get a rash while eating become a "frill"? Yes its a Panda Express. You know what you're getting, 20 trays of food that all look, smell, and taste alike except there is some tiny variation (one has peppers the other chillis, one has orange peels the other has mushrooms). They also have pot stickers, egg rolls, springs rolls, and cheese rangoons (yup, no crab here). All of which I'd skip. They all smell like a gym sock on the inside. The soups look like what you'd pour on someone attacking a medieval castle. Again, skip it. Honestly you know why you're here. You work in or around the building, you have $6, and you want either fried rice or lo mein with some kind of chicken/beef in less time than it takes to walk 20 feet to something better. And for catering to that laziness... you get 2 stars Panda Express (the extra star is for being clean).

This isn't Chinese and that's not news... I occasionally work up the need to go here and after eating I usually realize why I don't eat there often. The food is average at the very best... I always feel gross after eating here, it's one of those types of places that I literally have to go wash my face after eating. I give them one additional star for figuring out how to not make the whole building reek of nasty Chinese food... when they first opened it was really bad. If I want orange chicken I'll get a small sampling at Market Creations.. it's just as good there and you can get as much or as little as you want.

I'm going to agree with Robert S. The people who work here are great! Lili is also one of my favorites. They are always happy to make my Panda bowl the way I like it--half rice, half veggies with string bean chicken. Sure, this may not be the place to get egg rolls, but it's clean, fast, and the food is always fresh from 11 am - 2:30 pm.

just feels jipped when they don't pack in your panda lunch box. the panda at this location is just like any other overpriced lunch place now. been hoping to make this a frequent lunch spot, but now will prolly stick with 65 instead.
