This is a great place for dinner! It is a small place with nice decor. There are a few TVs with Telemundo on, but never loud enough to distract from conversation. Prices are very reasonable. I like to bring my friends in to share the experience. You walk in and they give you a cup of soup with salsa and chips. The food has always been great. Service from the friendly staff is always great. To top it all off they even offer complimentary flan!

Love this place to order. I ordered some food yesterday and the delivery was quick! My boyfriend was amazed when he saw his food. It was delicious and he told me if to write a review and give El Azteca 10 stars. Lol. The food I ordered was delicious as well. The price is fair and the delivery fee is fair as well. Good job El Azteca I guess we will be visiting the restaurant soon.

This is my ultimate favorite Mexican restaurant - hands down. Their food is absolutely delicious and authentic. My favorite guilty pleasure is their salsa and chips... its honestly an addiction. I always order the largest size available of salsa and a bag of chips for to go A definite must try!

Their shrimp cocktail is amazing!! I ordered the small and was surprised at how much shrimp came in it. Their portions are very generous. The beef, chicken and shrimp parrillada (menu item #22) was delicious also. They serve all their parrilladas with rice, beans, avocado, salad and tortillas. Great prices also. I loved how friendly the staff was and just when I finished telling my boyfriend how amazing the place was they gave us a complimentary flan desert! Will definitely be going back.

I haven't been here in a couple of months but I used to frequent this place. This used to be my go to place for Huevos Al a Mexicana.. It's was ridiculously cheap and great to split with someone be it when running late for class or after a particularly late night out. The staff here is really friendly and the food is pretty consistent and good across the board. Nothing is better than some chile rellenos and a good milkshake from here!

I've been eating at this place and ordering carryout for about three years. I usually get the burritos or steak tacos. The chiles rellenos are great. They have a juicer so they can make fresh orange juice right in front of you which is very delicious. The tacos de lengua (beef tongue) are very good.

This is one of my favorite neighborhood Mexican restraunts. They have good prices and a good selection. They are very nice to me every time I come in. And patient with me when my Polish self tries to pronounce the names of the dishes. I love the enchiladas, torta de milanesa, and the breakfasts. If you ever in the area I recommend this restraunt.

Place is nice. It's a casual restaurant. I ordered the tostada with chicken breast and a chicken gordita. The tostada would have been enough. Its a very well packed tostada! The chicken was seasoned right and the condiments were plenty. The gordita was also a good size and that alone would be satisfying. I would come back and recomend others to give it a try.

Came here for breakfast. One of the best chilaquiles in the city. (Con carne, red hot sauce) wonderful service--but we were the only ones here at 8:30am. The coffee was great. My hubby had the huevos a la Mexicana--he loved it! We will be back here to try the lunch and dinner menus. Yum!

The BEST horchatas! Everything else is amazing too. I've pretty much tried everything on the menu since I live down the street from this place and it's been around for over 10 years and although it's changed it's name, The food stays the same; simple but delicious. The tostadas are piled high and the Chile rellenos are full of flavor (these happen to be two of my favorite things on the menu) but anything you choose will leave you satisfied.

The servers are so nice & humble. Try to explain the menu & options FOOD IS DELICIOUS. Fresh veggies & the Horchata is Bomb! And very Decent prices, very Affordable I'd Say. Deffinitely Recommend it & Its BYOB & don't charge for it, which other places do ... I don't know why, but El Azteca is the Best.

Ordered food for 5 people and cost $35. Great food. Althought, I would have liked full condiments on my tacos not just the offered lettuce tomatoes. And the reason for not 5 star, no delivery. This place is small, but clean and the food is great. The chairs are artful and they also made a chimichanga even though it was not on the menu. I recommend this place.

Great local place. After seeing this spot on my daily work route I decided to check it out. The decoration is colorful and traditional Mexican. The service was fast and very friendly. We ordered some pastor tacos, a torta and a sope all of which were tasteful and reasonably priced. A clean place was seen all throughout as well. Will definitely come back here in the future.

This is a local place for me, within waking distance, I can only say good things about this place. So I usually come in and order small items, order of Guacamole & Torta(Spanish sandwich), as in most Hispanic restaurants Rice and Bean are a mainstay and sometimes after about 6 hours of having beans sitting under heat the Pinto beans get Caplet and dry. And sometimes there is an attempt to cover this up by adding lots and lots of cheese to the top. You won't find that here. The batches the cooks makes are rice and beans every 3 hrs in medium batches. during catering and lunch hours there are usually 3 cooks one is on prep the other on the grill & a floater between they run a nice tight kitchen back there. Overall most items on the menu a great. There specials are worth it. Rice is fresh and side dishes, also you get a complimentary soup to open the stomach juices going. for those looking for a good portion on there plate, this is the place to go, so if your looking for good Mexican this is the place to go

I can't say enough nice things about this place! 1) It's super cute inside. You'll spend half of your first visit checking out the pretty chairs. (And the ceiling is very HGTV). 2) Service is always friendly and patient. There are very ritzy places downtown that should send their waitstaff here for lessons. 3) I saved the best for last! THE FOOD! Just for sitting down at dinnertime they will bring you chips with salsa and little cups of soup. After your scrumptious meal they usually bring you a small complimentary serving of flan. I don't know about you but that's just plain hospitable in my book. Definitely try to go in for a sit down meal, take out orders miss out on the yummy extras.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
